Abstract

The destruction of forests in Indonesia has resulted in disasters and threatens the future of humanity on earth. Using forests for personal interests is an action that humans should prohibit. Theological reflection or Christian perspective studies are needed to encourage a contemplative approach to forests. This paper aims to examine the issue of ecological crisis in Indonesia with a biblical approach. A qualitative methodology of literature review approach is used in this article. The research reveals that deforestation continues to be the most significant form of land degradation in Indonesia. Although the Central Bureau of Statistics reported a substantial decrease in deforestation in Indonesia from 2019 to 2020, the country lost 213 million hectares of forest, equivalent to 3.5 times the size of Bali Island, between 2015 and 2020. Therefore, eco theology seeks to critique the Christian tradition to raise public awareness of the ecological crisis and not just concern for the environment. Awareness of forest sustainability should be instilled in the younger generation through planting programs to develop a sense of belonging, appreciation, and responsibility for the forest. This is an expression of gratitude to the Owner, God, while at the same time showing love to others and ensuring the preservation of the planet for future generations. Keywords: Forest Loss, Future Loss, Ecological Crisis, Biblical ApproachKeywords: forest los; future loss; ecological crisis; biblical approach Abstrak Kerusakan hutan di Indonesia mengakibatkan bencana dan mengancam masa depan umat manusia di muka bumi. Pemanfaatan hutan untuk kepentingan pribadi adalah tindakan yang seharusnya dilarang oleh manusia. Dibutuhkan refleksi teologi atau kajian perspektif Kristen untuk mendorong pendekatan kontemplatif terhadap hutan. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji persoalan krisis ekologi di Indonesia dengan pendekatan biblis. Metodologi kualitatif pendekatan tinjauan literatur digunakan dalam artikel ini. Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa deforestasi terus menjadi bentuk degradasi lahan yang paling signifikan di Indonesia. Meskipun Badan Pusat Statistik melaporkan penurunan deforestasi yang signifikan di Indonesia dari tahun 2019 hingga 2020, kenyataannya negara ini kehilangan 213 juta hektar hutan, atau setara dengan 3,5 kali luas Pulau Bali, antara tahun 2015 dan 2020. Oleh karena itu, ekoteologi berusaha untuk mengkritik tradisi Kristen untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang krisis ekologi, dan bukan hanya sekedar kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Kesadaran akan kelestarian hutan harus ditanamkan kepada generasi muda melalui program penanaman, sehingga mereka dapat mengembangkan rasa memiliki, menghargai, dan bertanggung jawab terhadap hutan. Hal ini merupakan ungkapan rasa syukur kepada Sang Pemilik, Tuhan, dan sekaligus menunjukkan rasa cinta kasih kepada sesama, serta memastikan kelestarian planet ini untuk generasi mendatang.Kata Kunci: kehilangan hutan; kehilangan masa depan; krisis ekologi; pendekatan biblis

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertolak dari kerisauan peneliti terhadap fenomena bullying yang terus terjadi dan meningkat setiap tahun sehingga menyita perhatian banyak pihak. Bullying menjadi bukti noktah hitam pendidikan karakter dalam beberapa dekade terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mencari solusi atas permasalahan ancaman bullying sebagai noktah hitam pendidikan karakter di SMP Negeri 4 Sentani. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus.  Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa, (1) pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan belum memiliki daya tawar yang berharga bagi pembentukan karakter seluruh warga sekolah. (2) pengajaran pendidikan karakter di sekolah masih mengandalkan bentuk pengajaran nilai-nilai dalam pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan. (3) pendekatan keteladan baik pola berpikir dan bertindak sesuai dengan nilai dan norma belum efektif dipraktikan oleh guru. (4) bullying sebagai tindakan agresif secara verbal, fisik, atau psikologis yang berulang setiap waktu dan berdampak negatif bagi korban. Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dalam penelitian ini adalah sekolah sebagai garda terdepan dalam menanamkan karakter baik kepada para pelajar mesti lebih efektif dan efisien dalam menginternalisasikan nilai, moral, dan sikap yang berkeadaban mulya kepada setiap generasi bangsa serta menerapkan berbagai model, pendekatan, dan program pendidikan karakter di sekolah secara berkesinambungan.Kata Kunci: Bullying, Noktah Hitam, Pendidikan Karakter

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika interaksi politik antara lembaga eksekutif dan legislatif dalam proses penyusunan Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Daerah (APBD) dan rancangan peraturan daerah di Kabupaten Maluku Barat Daya. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan Bupati, Wakil Bupati dan seluruh anggota DPRD, analisis dokumen kebijakan, dan observasi langsung terhadap proses pembuatan kebijakan. Interaksi politik antara kedua lembaga ini dibangun melalui proses negosiasi secara berkelanjutan demi menata kemajuan daerah Maluku Barat Daya ke arah yang lebih baik. Lembaga eksekutif yang menjalankan sistem pemerintahan di daerah, selalu berkolaborasi dengan lembaga legislatif dalam menghasilkan PERDA dan membahas APBD, dan dalam memajukan kesejahteraan masyarakat serta mewujudkan pemerintahan yang bersih dan harmonis, selalu berpatokan pada PERDA yang merupakan produk dari kedua lembaga.

Abstract

Penggunaan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam pembelajaran kewarganegaraan di SMP Negeri 2 Sentani menghadapi sejumlah tantangan yang signifikan. Bias data, infrastruktur dan SDM yang belum memadai, dan ketergantungan terhadap AI harus diatasi untuk memastikan penggunaan AI dalam pendidikan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran tanpa mengorbankan nilai-nilai inti pendidikan kewarganegaraan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji tantangan artificial intelligence dalam pembelajaran kewarganegaraan di SMP Negeri 2 Sentani. Penggunaan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi partisipatif dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian menemukan AI memainkan peran penting dalam pendidikan dengan membantu guru membuat soal ujian, menilai tugas siswa secara cepat dan akurat, serta memberikan umpan balik yang dipersonalisasi, sehingga meningkatkan efisiensi dan objektivitas. Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik adalah penggunaan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam pembelajaran kewarganegaraan di SMP Negeri 2 Sentani dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan personalisasi pendidikan, namun tidak dapat menggantikan peran vital guru. Abstract

Papua is one of Indonesia's regions prone to disintegration because some organizations continue to speak of distrust of the central government. Those organizations are called OPM (Free Papua Movement). This study aims to assess the internalization of the values of national commitment through the subject of Christian Education in Compound Society at STAKPN Sentani Papua students. The results of this research can contribute to the government's making policies for peace and integration in Papua. The research includes descriptive quantitative research. Data was collected by questionnaire and analyzed by crosstabs analysis. The results of the study found that the internalization of Christian Education in Compound Society to the value of the commitment to the unity of the Republic of Indonesia was obtained significantly, but for the commitment to love the homeland, willing to sacrifice, maintain the Republic of Indonesia and the unity of the Republic of Indonesia was not significant. The results of this study recommend that students continue to value the commitment to the unity of the Republic of Indonesia because, after all, Papua remains an inseparable part of the Republic of Indonesia. Overall, we found that STAKPN Sentani students, through the subject of Christian Education in a compound society, can have an excellent national commitment value.

Abstract

Understanding religious moderation literacy at SMP Negeri 5 Sentani is an urgent need to anticipate future social challenges. In order to answer this need, a team of lecturers from the STAKPN Sentani Christian Religious Education Department held community service activities with the main aim of increasing understanding of religious moderation literacy among students. This activity proved to be very relevant and effective in addressing the issue of religious moderation in the school. The PkM team succeeded in delivering material regarding the challenges of practicing religious moderation, the role of education in advancing moderation, as well as strategies for increasing religious moderation literacy in a way that was easy for students to understand. As a result, this activity had a significant positive impact on increasing knowledge of religious moderation literacy for students at SMP Negeri 5 Sentani.

Abstract

Perubahan zaman dan dinamika masyarakat kontemporer memunculkan tantangan terhadap relevansi nilai-nilai religius dan kebangsaan dalam konteks kegiatan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana BPC GMKI Sentani merespons dinamika tersebut dengan mempertahankan esensi nilai-nilai religius dan kebangsaan sambil beradaptasi dengan tuntutan zaman. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan eksploratif, penelitian ini menggali secara mendalam berbagai isu yang dihadapi oleh GMKI Sentani, seperti penurunan solidaritas sosial, degradasi demokrasi, dan pernikahan anak. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa GMKI Sentani secara aktif menerapkan strategi edukasi, diskusi, dan kolaborasi untuk mengatasi tantangan ini, dengan fokus pada penguatan nasionalisme, demokrasi, dan hak asasi manusia melalui program kaderisasi dan kegiatan sosial. Kesimpulannya, BPC GMKI Sentani berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai religius dan kebangsaan dalam setiap aktivitas mereka, menjadikannya sebagai fondasi yang kokoh bagi anggotanya untuk menghadapi perubahan zaman. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya memperkuat identitas religius dan kebangsaan di kalangan anggota tetapi juga mendorong partisipasi aktif dalam pembangunan sosial, menjadikan mereka agen perubahan positif di masyarakat. Abstract

This study analyzes religious moderation literacy in Christian Religious Education at YPPGI Sentani Junior High School. Focusing on the context of diversity in Indonesia, this study aims to evaluate students' understanding and the effectiveness of teaching methods that promote the values of tolerance, inclusivity, and moderation. With a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of curriculum documents. The results of the study show that religious moderation literacy has been applied through the teaching of peaceful values and respect for differences. However, there are challenges, including limited resources and a lack of a deep understanding of religious moderation. These findings confirm the importance of effective teaching strategies to improve students' moderate attitudes in daily life. This study makes a significant contribution to building a tolerant and harmonious generation, especially in a multicultural environment such as Papua, through strengthening the role of Christian religious education as a means of religious moderation literacy

Abstract

Pasangan lintas budaya di kampung Lapua menghadapi perbedaan nilai, tradisi, serta tekanan sosial, dan bagaimana hal ini berdampak pada pembentukan karakter warga negara yang toleran. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini menggali data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi lapangan, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap pasangan antarbudaya, tokoh adat, dan peran gereja setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perkawinan antarbudaya berpotensi memperkuat integrasi sosial dan menghidupkan nilai-nilai Pancasila, terutama sila Persatuan Indonesia. Namun, dinamika tribalisme dan dominasi budaya dalam rumah tangga dapat melemahkan harmoni jika tidak dikelola dengan bijak. Gereja terbukti memainkan peran strategis sebagai agen transformasi sosial melalui pendidikan nilai-nilai kasih, kesetaraan, dan toleransi. Kesimpulannya, perkawinan antarbudaya di Kampung Lapua menjadi laboratorium sosial bagi praktik hidup berbangsa yang menjunjung tinggi kebhinekaan, sekaligus memperlihatkan urgensi pembinaan kewarganegaraan sejak dari lingkup keluarga dalam membangun Indonesia yang inklusif dan damai dalam perbedaan.   Referensi  Abdelrahim, Y. Abstract

In Hinekombe Village, religious diversity encourages efforts to strengthen religious moderation among youth across faiths. Community service activities focus on strengthening religious moderation for interfaith youth in the Religious Moderation Village assisted by STAKPN Sentani, which aims to increase understanding and practice of religious moderation in order to create social harmony. The methods used in this activity are lectures, interactive discussions, and questions and answers involving youth from various religious backgrounds. In addition, a community-based approach is implemented by encouraging active youth participation in various social activities and interfaith dialogue. Evaluation is carried out through measuring participants' understanding before and after the activity, as well as observing the impact of the program in daily life. The results of the activity showed that the interfaith youth involved experienced an increased understanding of the importance of religious moderation and had a stronger commitment to implementing the values of tolerance and togetherness. Collaboration with the government, religious leaders and educational institutions plays an important role in supporting the sustainability of this program. In conclusion, this PkM succeeded in having a positive impact on interfaith youth in the Religious Moderation Village. With sustainable activities, it is hoped that a more inclusive and harmonious environment will be created in social life.
