Abstract

This research aiims to improve the fine motor skils of young children in group A of Fadilah Kindergarten, Parepare City. Results of initial observations: Researchers saw that several children were unable to control hand movements using small muscles. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptiv aproach. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instrument used Child Development Achievement Level Standards (STTPA). The results of the research show that some children are not yet able to coordinate their fine muscle hand movements. After researchers applied collage media, children who could not initially coordinate their eyes and hands experienced an increase in their ability to coordinate hand movements involving their small muscles. From the results of this activity, the researchers concluded that there was an increase in children's fine motor development through collage games, where all sub-indicators of the assessment increased.

Abstract

Penerapan Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) di sekolah merupakan sekumpulan perilaku yang dipraktikkan oleh peserta didik, guru dan masyarakat lingkungan sekolah atas dasar kesadaran. PHBS perlu diperkenalkan kepada anak-anak usia dini untuk mengadopsi kebiasaan baru. Keterampilan hidup bersih dan sehat, seperti menjaga kebersihan diri dan lingkungan, dan menghindari hal-hal yang berbahaya untuk kesehatan, dapat membantu anak usia dini mengembangkan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan dalam meningkatkan kebiasaan hidup bersih dan sehat kepada anak usia dini melalui penerapan video interaktif dan media edukatif PHBS. Metode dalam pengabdian ini merupakan pendampingan secara langsung kepada anak usia dini di KB-BA-TPA Restu 2 Malang. Dalam hasil pengabdian ini, peserta didik menunjukkan perubahan signifikan dalam mengenal kebiasaan perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat melalui video interaktif dan media edukatif hasil karya mahasiswa PIAUD IAIN Parepare.

Abstract

This research aims to introduce the sunflower media numbers in enhancing the development of symbolic thinking in early childhood. This research involves various aspects of child development, including moral and religious values, cognitive, and language. The research methodology uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the subjects of 17 children. Data collection techniques use observations and interviews to find out the processes of sunflower media numbers in enhancing symbolic thinking in children. The results of the research show that the application of sunflower media numbers can increase the enthusiasm of children in solving problems by arranging the numbers according to the solar pattern. Overall, the average indicator of symbolic thinking development indicates a continuous improvement, with children aged 5-6 years in the category of starting to develop (NA), developing as expected (MF), and developing very well (SA). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the application of the sunflower media figures achieved as expected in improving the child's ability to think symbolically.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a teaching module for the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) that utilizes the environment for early childhood education at the Pembina Batulappa State Kindergarten. The reason behind this study was the lack of creative and contextually appropriate teaching materials to support the implementation of P5 in schools. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the Borg and Gall development model, which was carried out up to the product revision stage. Data was collected through observation, interviews, documentation, and validation questionnaires given to subject matter experts, language experts, and response questionnaires from teachers. The results of the validation process showed that the developed teaching module had a very good level of feasibility, with a feasibility percentage of 92% from subject matter experts and 95% from language experts. Teachers gave positive responses to the use of this module, with a feasibility level of 91.67%. The resulting module is able to provide an attractive and contextually appropriate project-based learning alternative through direct interaction with the surrounding environment, and is effective in instilling the values of the Pancasila Student Profile in young children. Therefore, this module is highly suitable for use as an innovative learning tool in early childhood education settings. ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk membuat modul ajar Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) yang memanfaatkan lingkungan untuk anak usia dini di TK Negeri Pembina Batulappa. Alasan di balik penelitian ini adalah kurangnya bahan ajar yang kreatif dan sesuai konteks untuk mendukung pelaksanaan P5 di sekolah. Metode yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan Borg dan Gall, yang dilakukan sampai tahap revisi produk. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan angket validasi yang diberikan kepada ahli materi, ahli bahasa, serta angket respon dari guru. Hasil dari proses validasi menunjukkan bahwa modul ajar yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat kelayakan yang sangat baik, dengan persentase kelayakan dari ahli materi mencapai 92% dan dari ahli bahasa mencapai 95%. Guru-guru memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan modul ini, dengan tingkat kelayakan sebesar 91,67%. Modul yang dihasilkan mampu menghadirkan alternatif pembelajaran berbasis projek yang menarik dan sesuai konteks, melalui interaksi langsung dengan lingkungan sekitar, serta efektif dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai Profil Pelajar Pancasila kepada anak usia dini. Oleh karena itu, modul ini sangat layak digunakan sebagai alat pembelajaran inovatif di lingkungan PAUD.

Abstract

This research was conducted to develop children's language skills in class B1 PAUD AL-Madinah Integrated PAUD, Parepare City, which still needs to be developed. There are many problems with children's language skills, namely some children are unable to communicate and express their opinions or communicate their wishes to others. One way to involve children in active learning is to provide unique and creative learning media. The assessment carried out by the researcher in this activity was that the child understood the rules of the game, enjoyed and appreciated reading, and the child repeated more complex sentences. Spinning wheel playing activities have succeeded in developing language in group B children in the AL-Madinah Integrated PAUD because the use of rotary wheel media can affect all aspects of children, making children more active and interactive, learning more optimal and more fun. When used, these media can generate attention, interest and motivation to learn, make students active and interactive, increase understanding and learning can be fun and optimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses penerapan, strategi, metode evaluasi pengajaran kegiatan dongeng cerita rakyat untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi langsung, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Subyek penelitiannya adalah Anak PAUD dan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1)proses penerapan  dongeng yaitu guru membacakan dongeng, anak-anak menyimak, lalu dilanjutkan sesi tanya jawab, 2)strategi dongeng yang diterapkan yaitu pemilihan cerita yang dekat dengan kehidupan anak, mengajak anak menebak alur cerita, berbagi pengalaman serupa, serta memanfaatkan media buku cerita untuk meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak, 3)metode dongeng yaitu ceramah dan tanya jawab, sedangkan evaluasi dilakukan melalui lembar observasi. Berdasarkan hasil observasi terlihat adanya perubahan yang cukup signifikan, indikator pantang menyerah, berani mengemukakan pendapat, dan berpenampilan tenang meningkat menjadi berkembang sesuai harapan, sedangkan indikator berani bertanya serta mengutamakan usaha sendiri mengalami peningkatan lebih tinggi menjadi berkembang sangat baik

Abstract

Inclusive education in higher education, is vital for creating a diverse and equitable learning environment, ensuring equal opportunities for individuals with diverse abilities and backgrounds. This approach enriches the overall educational experience, fostering global readiness in students for a diverse society. This article utilizes bibliometric analysis with R software to track trends in studies concerning the integration of inclusive education in higher education, drawing data from the Scopus database spanning 2013 to 2023. The findings reveal that the growth of scholarly publications on the implementation of inclusive education in higher education experiences fluctuations. The Sustainability Journal (Switzerland) emerges as the most prolific publisher of articles on this subject, with the University of Nottingham being the most productive affiliate. The United States stands out as the most productive country, and the article titled "Sustainability Strategy in Higher Education Institutions: Lessons Learned from a Nine-Year Case Study" by Ramisio et al. holds the distinction of being the most cited. This research outlines inclusive education in higher education for interested scholars, emphasizing current challenges and potential opportunities in implementing it, particularly in Islamic higher education. The article acknowledges limitations that could be addressed through broader metadata sources and a more extended publication timeline. Furthermore, the novelty of this research is no previous researcher has explored inclusive education in higher education using bibliometric analysis.

Abstract

Nilai keterampilan sosial dapat diatasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan yang dianggap lebih tepat seperti pemberian kegiatan bermain, di mana dengan aktivitas bermain melibatkan beberapa anak sehingga akan terbina interaksi antara anak pertama dengan anak yang lain. Kegiatan bermain dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran anak. Salah satu caranya adalah bermain peran baik secara mikro maupun makro. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menguraikan pentingnya peran dalam proses pembelajaran. Bermain peran dalam pembelajaran merupakan usaha untuk memecahkan masalah melalui peragaan, serta langkah-langkah identifikasi masalah, analisis, pemeranan, dan diskusi. Melalui peran dalam proses pembelajaran, anak berinteraksi dengan orang lain yang juga membawakan peran tertentu sesuai dengan teman yang dipilih.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 11 Pontianak, with six research informants one economics teacher in class XI IPS and five students in class XI IPS 2 who experienced difficulties in solving economic HOTS questions which aims to find out the types of difficulties faced by students in solving economic HOTS questions. In this research, the method used is a qualitative case study, and the data collected through tests and interviews. The data analysis process was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the difficulty of students in solving HOTS questions in economic subjects on national income material was divided into 4 difficulties based on Polya's stages (1) Difficulty understanding the problem, the difficulty lies in the lack of ability for students as a whole understand the problem and could not write the steps needed to solve the question. (2) Difficulty making the solution plan, Trouble lies with the inability of students to include the formula used problems and they incorrectly applied the equation used to solve problems. (3) Difficulty implementing the plan, the difficulty lies in the lack of understanding of the concept in understanding the steps of solving any problems and less understanding of the question.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of cognitive development in children aged 5–6 years at TKIT Darul Qur’an Madani, where learning was still general and did not optimally stimulate children's thinking skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing STEAM-based learning using coconut plants as a medium on improving cognitive development in children aged 5–6 years in Group B at TKIT Darul Qur’an Madani. The method used in this study was a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach. The research subjects consisted of 15 children using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through pretest and posttest observations using a cognitive development assessment sheet based on the indicators from the Indonesian Ministry of Education Regulation No. 137 of 2013. Data analysis was conducted using a paired sample t-test with the help of SPSS version 22. The results showed that the average pretest score of 5.00 increased to 10.00 in the posttest. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant effect of implementing STEAM-based learning through coconut plants on improving children's cognitive development. Thus, STEAM-based learning has proven effective in stimulating early childhood learning and problem-solving abilities in a contextual, enjoyable, and holistic manner. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5–6 tahun di TKIT Darul Qur’an Madani, yang masih dilakukan secara umum dan belum menstimulus kemampuan berpikir anak secara maksimal. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan pembelajaran berbasis STEAM melalui media tanaman kelapa terhadap peningkatan perkembangan kognitif anak usia 5–6 tahun di kelompok B TKIT Darul Qur’an Madani. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre-eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 15 anak dengan teknik pengambilan sampel jenuh. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi pretest dan posttest menggunakan lembar penilaian perkembangan kognitif anak berdasarkan indikator Permendikbud Nomor 137 Tahun 2013. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t sampel berpasangan (paired sample t-test) dengan bantuan program SPSS versi 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 5,00 meningkat menjadi 10,00 pada posttest. Hasil uji-t menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh signifikan penerapan pembelajaran STEAM melalui media tanaman kelapa terhadap peningkatan kognitif anak. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran berbasis STEAM terbukti efektif dalam menstimulasi kemampuan belajar dan pemecahan masalah anak usia dini secara kontekstual, menyenangkan, dan menyeluruh.
