Abstract

This study aims to explain the leadership pattern of social capital based education for the quality improvement of private schools. The research is conducted at a private Junior Secondary Level with a qualitative naturalistic approach. This location is in Sleman District. The subject consists of selected cases purposively. The research procedure is carried out by four steps and methods of obtaining the data through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by the inductive model while the level of trust result of the research was undertaken by fulfilling criteria of credibility, transferability, dependability, and conformability. The research findings are as follows. First, the concept of leadership of social capital based education rests on the ability of principals to influence school resources to achieve goals through an integrated pattern of trust dimensions, reciprocal relationships, and networking. Second, school quality can be improved through a) school leadership in recognizing social capital, b) school leadership in utilizing social capital, c) school leadership in functioning social capital. Third, the utilization of social capital based on leadership in private schools in the form of a) bridging stakeholder aspirations both initiated by schools and stakeholders; b) bonding stakeholder relations with schools; c) following up or responding to stakeholder resources in-school programs as a perspective new leadership at school.

Abstract

This article purpose to explain the findings of the Democratic Leadership Typology of School Principals in Building a Culture of Teacher Integrity in Educational Institutions. Syaefudin's research shows that the development of a culture of school integrity is caused by the typology of democratic leadership. The principal as the main leader has the responsibility to create a school environment that is transparent, fair and honest. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. The sources used in this research were school principals and teachers. The findings of this research are that this type of democratic leadership can build a culture of teacher integrity because with this type of leadership, integrity in teachers continues to be instilled in teachers by educational institutions to achieve and familiarize students with efforts to practice these values. contained in integrity. The implications of the results of this research show that schools have their own variations and uniqueness in each school, so that school culture refers to every school member being able to work together and uphold the beliefs, values ​​and assumptions they believe in. The principal's leadership type and secondary school culture are able to provide enthusiasm for teachers so that they can increase teacher integrity. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran menulis sastra wisata yang dapat diterapkan di perguruan tinggi. Model ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis kreatif mahasiswa dengan memanfaatkan tema wisata sebagai sumber inspirasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi pustaka, yang melibatkan analisis kritis dan mendalam terhadap berbagai literatur yang relevan, termasuk teori sastra, prinsipprinsip pariwisata, dan metodologi pengajaran. Langkah-langkah pembelajaran dalam model ini mencakup pengenalan konsep dan teori, eksplorasi destinasi wisata melalui kunjungan lapangan atau tur virtual, pengumpulan informasi dan data, pengembangan ide cerita, penulisan draf awal, revisi dan penyuntingan, publikasi dan presentasi karya, serta refleksi dan evaluasi. Setiap langkah dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar yang komprehensif dan mendalam, membekali mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan dalam menulis sastra wisata. Sintaks pembelajaran menulis sastra wisata terdiri dari delapan langkah utama: (1) pengenalan konsep dan teori, (2) eksplorasi destinasi wisata, (3) pengumpulan informasi dan data, (4) pengembangan ide dan brainstorming, (5) penulisan draf awal, (6) revisi dan penyuntingan, (7) publikasi dan presentasi, dan (8) refleksi dan evaluasi. Pedoman peranan dalam pembelajaran ini menetapkan tugas dosen sebagai fasilitator, pembimbing, dan evaluator, sementara mahasiswa berperan sebagai pembelajar aktif, penulis, peneliti, kolaborator, dan evaluator. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran menulis sastra wisata yang terstruktur dan komprehensif tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis mahasiswa, tetapi juga memperkaya pemahaman mereka tentang budaya, sejarah, dan dinamika pariwisata.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggambarkan evaluasi program penguatan pendidikan karakter di SD N 1 Maguwoharjo menggunakan Model CIPP. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengevaluasi konteks, input, proses, dan produk program tersebut untuk menilai efektivitasnya dalam mencapai tujuan yang ditetapkan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian kualitatif ialah proses sistematis guna mencari dan mengatur transkrip wawancara, catatan lapangan, serta materi-materi lain. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa evaluasi konteks berdasarkan visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah telah diimplementasikan dengan baik, membentuk dasar kuat untuk pelaksanaan program sehingga penting untuk dilanjutkan secara inovatif. Evaluasi input pada sumber daya manusia, sarana dan prasarana mendukung keberhasilan program. Evaluasi Proses pelaksanaan program melibatkan berbagai kegiatan yang relevan, dengan dukungan kuat dari stakeholder yang menjadi factor pendukung keberhasilan program. Evaluasi produk menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam perilaku individu peserta didik dan budaya sekolah, mencerminkan keberhasilan program dalam membentuk karakter positif yang sesuai dengan nilai-nilai luhur bangsa dan agama. Penelitian ini berkontribusi penting dalam pengembangan praktik inovatif penguatan pendidikan karakter bagi dinas Pendidikan kabupaten/kota yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis validitas instrumen penilaian topik gerakan pembaruan Islam dalam buku teks Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) untuk Kelas 12 di MA Muallimin Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta. Penelitian sebelumnya menyoroti dalam desain alat penilaian guru, khususnya dalam mengembangkan pertanyaan yang mengukur keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan nilai-nilai reflektif dalam pembelajaran sejarah Islam. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif-analitis, penelitian ini fokus pada analisis validitas konten dan validitas konstruk dari lima pertanyaan esai dalam Bab V buku teks SKI. Sumber data primer meliputi buku teks SKI Kelas 12 dan instrumen penilaian yang menyertainya, sedangkan data sekunder meliputi dokumen kurikulum dan referensi terkait. Temuan penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa instrumen penilaian menunjukkan validitas sedang hingga tinggi, tetapi validitas konstruknya bervariasi secara signifikan. Sebagian besar pertanyaan menargetkan tingkat kognitif rendah hingga menengah (C2-C3), dengan hanya satu pertanyaan yang mencapai tingkat kognitif lebih tinggi (C4-C5). Hal ini menunjukkan perlunya penyempurnaan alat penilaian untuk tidak hanya menyebarkan pengetahuan faktual tetapi juga menumbuhkan pemikiran kritis, keterampilan analitis, dan kemampuan siswa untuk mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pembaruan Islam ke dalam konteks kontemporer.

Abstract

Rendahnya efektivitas program pendidikan dasar di Indonesia mencerminkan lemahnya sistem evaluasi yang digunakan, yang cenderung tidak berorientasi pada pencapaian hasil. Artikel ini mengkaji relevansi dan penerapan model Goal-Oriented Evaluation (GOE) dalam mengevaluasi program pendidikan dasar. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi pustaka, penelitian ini menelaah literatur terkait evaluasi berbasis tujuan dan praktiknya di sekolah dasar Islam terpadu. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa GOE, melalui lima komponen utamanya—perumusan tujuan SMART, indikator kinerja, teknik pengumpulan data, analisis capaian, dan tindak lanjut—efektif dalam menilai dan meningkatkan mutu program pendidikan. Model ini juga terbukti mendukung akuntabilitas dan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data di tingkat satuan pendidikan. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis terhadap pengembangan sistem evaluasi berbasis hasil dan merekomendasikan pengujian lapangan sebagai tindak lanjut penelitian.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze "The Effect Of Brand Image and Product Quality on Purchase Decisions With Consumer Trust As An Intervening Variable on Xiaomi Smartphones (Case Study on Mis Shop Tebing Tinggi City)". Quantitative method with a sample of 60 which is determined by the Slovin formula which is a Mi Shop Tebing Tinggi City Consumer. Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis 1, it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the Brand Image (X1) has an effect on the Consumer Trust variable (Z). Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis 2, it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is rejected, meaning that the Product Quality variable (X2) has no effect on the Consumer Trust variable (Z). Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis 3, it can be concluded that the third hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the Brand Image variable (X1) has an effect on the Purchase Decisions variable (Y). Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis 4, it can be concluded that the fourth hypothesis is rejected, meaning that the Product Quality variable (X2) has no effect on the Puchase Decisions variable (Y). Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis 5, it can be concluded that the fifth hypothesis is accepted, meaning that the Consumer Trust variable (Z) has an effect on the Purchase Decisions variable (Y). Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis 6, it is accepted, meaning that the variable Consumer Trust (Z) can mediate the influence of the Brand Image (X1) on Purchase Decisions (Y). Based on the results of the analysis of hypothesis 7, it is accepted, meaning that the variable Consumer Trust (Z) can mediate the influence of the Product Quality (X2) on Purchase Decisions (Y).

Abstract

The Muchadloroh Kubro Program at the An Nawawi Berjan Purworejo Islamic Boarding School is a program to train grammar and public speaking. The languages used are Arabic, English and French. . This program has been running since 2022, but there has been no detailed and comprehensive evaluation regarding this program.  This research aims to determine the results of the evaluation of the Muchadloroh Kubro program at the An Nawawi Islamic Boarding School using the CIPP framework as a reference criterion. The type of research used is evaluative research with a qualitative approach, data collection using observation, interview and documentation techniques.  Meanwhile, analyzing data is carried out by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions and verifying data.  The results of the CIPP model evaluation in this research show that the intensive program in the Muchadloroh Kubro Program at the An Nawawi Islamic Boarding School has been implemented well. Of the four components, the Context and Product components are in the very good category, while the other two components, namely Input and Process are in the good category. Based on these results, it is recommended that the implementation of the intensive program must be continued with certain notes.

Abstract

Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang berakhlak mulia, khususnya pada materi ummatan wasathan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sumberasih memanfaatkan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi melalui platform daring Quizizz. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas  dengan pendekatan campuran (mixed methods), yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif, gain score, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada hasil belajar siswa. Ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 35% dengan rata-rata skor 63,5 pada pra-siklus, menjadi 75% dengan rata-rata skor 80,5 pada siklus I, dan mencapai 100% dengan rata-rata skor 85,5 pada siklus II. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Quizizz mampu menciptakan suasana belajar yang lebih interaktif, menarik, serta meningkatkan motivasi dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menegaskan potensi Quizizz sebagai media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam dan budi pekerti. Islamic education and character development plays a vital role in shaping students’ noble character, particularly in the topic of ummatan wasathan. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using Quizizz, a technology-based online learning platform, to improve the learning outcomes of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Sumberasih, Probolinggo. The research employed a Classroom Action Research design with a mixed-methods approach, conducted in two cycles that included planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through tests, observations, and interviews, and analyzed using descriptive statistics, gain score, and triangulation. The findings revealed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes. Learning mastery increased from 35% with an average score of 63.5 in the pre-cycle to 75% with an average score of 80.5 in the first cycle, and eventually reached 100% with an average score of 85.5 in the second cycle. These results demonstrate that the use of Quizizz fosters an interactive and engaging learning environment while enhancing student motivation and conceptual understanding. Thus, this study confirms the potential of Quizizz as an effective learning medium in Islamic Religious Education and Character Development.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) in schools through the lens of Anthony Giddens' structuration theory. Field findings reveal that TQM is often applied in a bureaucratic and symbolic manner, with minimal involvement from school members and a lack of participatory reflection forums. Using the structuration framework, this study highlights that TQM structures are not fixed entities, but are formed and reproduced through the social practices of school actors. Inequities in rules and resource distribution weaken the agency of school members, while the absence of reflective spaces hinders conscious structural transformation. The analysis shows that strengthening school members as active agents is essential in building a dynamic and sustainable quality management structure. Therefore, it is recommended that schools develop collaborative structures, ensure equitable distribution of resources, establish open forums for collective reflection, and integrate TQM principles into daily practices. This study contributes theoretically to quality management approaches in educational institutions by emphasizing the reciprocal relationship between structure and agency.
