Abstract

This research aims to analyze 1) whether there is an influence of the use of Powerpoint media on student learning outcomes in Class X Economics Subjectsat SMAN I Pesisir Region. 2) Is there an influence of learning intensity on student learning outcomes in economic ssubjects for class X SMAN I Coastal Region. 3) Is there an influence of the use of Powerpoint media and learning intensity on student learning outcoes in class X economic ssubjects at SMAN I Ranah  Pesisir. This  type of research is  kuantitatif  research. The population in this study was 297 students. Purposive sampling, the sample obtained was 63 students. The instrument used for research is a questionnaire using the Multiple Linear Regression test and hypothesis testing usingthe t testand F test. The research resultss how that: 1) Thereis a positive and significant influence between the use of Powerpoint media (X1) on student learning outcomes in Class X Economics Subjectsat SMAN I Ranah Pesisir.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis ketidaksesuaian praktik hukuman mati di Indonesia, khususnya untuk kejahatan narkotika, dengan standar hukum internasional seperti ICCPR dan General Comment No. 36 Komite HAM PBB. Dengan metode yuridis normatif dan pendekatan interpretatif-komparatif, penelitian mengungkap bahwa Indonesia masih menerapkan hukuman mati untuk kejahatan non-kekerasan, bertentangan dengan prinsip “kejahatan paling serius” dalam hukum internasional. Temuan baru menunjukkan bahwa reformasi KUHP 2023, meski memperkenalkan masa percobaan 10 tahun, belum mengarah pada penghapusan substantif hukuman mati, melainkan hanya modifikasi prosedural. Analisis ini juga mendalami konsekuensi moratorium dan potensi status hukuman mati di masa depan, termasuk implikasi diplomatik dan hambatan ekstradisi. Penelitian menyoroti perlunya harmonisasi kebijakan nasional dengan norma HAM global serta rekomendasi untuk moratorium eksekusi.

Abstract

Today's problems are not problems that can be overcome easily, they need appropriate methods or methods as well as characteristics that encourage the counseling process carried out by the counselor to run smoothly. This research aims to find out the concept of a counselor from a Qur'anic perspective in Surah An-Nahl verses 125-128. This research method uses a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data sources obtained from commentary books, articles and other printed materials. The results of this research show that the concept of a counselor can apply the methods and characteristics that a counselor must possess in accordance with Surah An-Nahl verses 125-128. Being a counselor in carrying out his duties resolves client problems in accordance with the teachings of the Al-Qur'an and hadith and has full awareness of being a useful human being for the counselee

Abstract

This article aims to discuss family counseling from the perspective of the Al-Qur'an Surah At-Tahrim Verse 6, using the literature study research method. The findings of this research focus on the interpretation of Surah At-Tahrim verse 6, studied from the perspective of the Tafsir Al Misbah, Tafsir Ibnu Katsir and Tafsir of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, namely: family counseling, when viewed from the perspective of Surah At-Tahrim verse 6, has a significant role. crucial in forming a harmonious family, rooted in religious values, and preparing family members to follow God's commands. Through family counseling, family members can deepen their understanding of their duties and responsibilities in implementing religious teachings, while strengthening emotional and social ties between them.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the validity and reliability of two psychological scales developed to measure academic procrastination and achievement motivation among university students. The validity of the instruments was assessed using Pearson Product-Moment correlation, while internal consistency reliability was tested using Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient. A pilot study was conducted with a sample of 20 students outside the main study program to ensure the instruments' objectivity. The results showed that out of 28 items on the academic procrastination achievement motivation scale, 21 items were valid, with a reliability score of α =0.872. Meanwhile, the acheivement motivation academic procrastination scale consisted of 40 items, of which 32 items were valid, and the reliability coefficient was α = 0.883. These findings indicate that both instruments have strong psychometric properties and are suitable for use in psychological and educational research. The study highlights the importance of instrument development procedures, including item analysis and pre-testing, to ensure accurate and consistent measurement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of academic resilience on student engagement among Psychology students at Surabaya State University. Changes in the learning system in the digital era require students to have high adaptive skills to academic pressure, making academic resilience a crucial factor in maintaining learning engagement. The research approach used was a quantitative correlational approach, with a population of all active students in the 2025/2026 academic year. The study sample was determined using proportional stratified random sampling with a minimum of 200 respondents. The main instruments used included the Academic Resilience Scale (ARS-30) (Cassidy, 2016; adaptation by Erawati, 2024) and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale for Students (UWES-9S) (Schaufeli et al., 2002; Carmona-Halty et al., 2019). Data analysis was performed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 26 to determine the effect of academic resilience on student engagement. The results showed that academic resilience had a positive and significant effect on student engagement. Students with high levels of academic resilience tend to demonstrate greater engagement in behavioral, emotional, and cognitive aspects during the learning process. These findings confirm that students' ability to cope with academic pressure and manage negative emotions is a protective factor against decreased learning engagement. Furthermore, descriptive analysis shows that levels of academic resilience and student engagement are in the moderate-high category, with variations based on year and gender. Theoretically, these results support Self-Determination Theory (Deci & Ryan, 2000), which states that students with high academic resilience have stronger intrinsic motivation because they are able to fulfill basic psychological needs for autonomy, competence, and social connectedness. Practically, the results of this study are expected to provide a basis for developing psychological interventions and learning strategies that support increased academic resilience and active student engagement in higher education.
