Abstract

Background. This study examines the character formation of Muslim children through indigenous education at Floor IT Elementary School, Batusangkar, Tanah Datar Regency. The problem lies in the character formation of Muslim children. Purpose. From this problem, the question arises about the condition of the students' character and what efforts the teacher has made to shape the students' character at the Sekolah IT Floor Batu. This research is field research because the researcher directly visited the research subjects. Method. Data was obtained through direct observation and interviews with teachers at the school. After the data is collected, it is then processed by classifying the data and making notes about the results of observations and interviews. Results Next, the data is narrated descriptively. The research results are discussed using theories which are also supported by the arguments of the Koran and Hadith as well as several applicable government regulations. This research found an important understanding that Indigenous education is an educational method that is based on customs or customs that develop in society. Children's characters emerge due to the influence of the customs of the place where they live. Conclusion. To prevent the emergence of bad characters, teachers gather their students in one environment, so that teachers can accustom children to behave well. In this way, teachers can shape the character of Muslim children and familiarize children with behaving according to the character of Muslim children

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the effects of an integrative approach on students’ reading comprehension, using information and communication technology (ICT) and reading comprehension, the students’ digital literacy and reading comprehension. The quantitative method used an analytical study with cross-sectional research. The data was collected through a questionnaire. There were 473 primary schools with a total of 16,286 children (8,476 male students and 7,810 female students) selected at random as a sample of 400 learners in elementary schools. The findings showed that the integrative approach has a beneficial effect of using ICT and students’ reading comprehension and reading literacy. The use of an integrative approach for reading comprehension and using ICT can promote students’ digital literacy. The student’s reading comprehension and the integrative approach technique were favorable, as seen by the students’ excitement and seriousness. The utilization of this integrative approach can enhance the student’s ability to comprehend reading comprehension and get effectiveness and efficiency of the Indonesian language. This study provides integrated reading-literacy technology (IRLT) that significantly impacts reading comprehension through the use of ICT and an integrative approach in the reading instruction.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran audio visual terhadap motivasi, minat, dan keterampilan berbahasa reseptif pada peserta didik kelas V SD Gugus Balla Bittuang Kabupaten Tana Toraja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif eksperimen quasi experimental untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman terhadap minat baca dan motivasi belajar siswa yang mana model pembelaran tersebut di terapkan pada kelas eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas V SD yang berada di Gugus Balla Bittuang. Sekolah-sekolah yang tergabung dalam Gugus Balla Bittuang antara lain: SDN 3 Bittuang, SDN 10 Bittuang, SDN 12 Bittuang, SDN 17 Bittuang, SDN 13 Bittuang, dan SDN 4 Bittuang dimana jumlah keseluruhan siswa kelas 5 dari sekolah tersebut sebanyak 117 siswa. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh selama penelitian, didapatkan bahwa media audiovisual  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat belajar  berdasarkan hasil pada pengujian hipotesis (uji t) yang mana adalah sebesar 0,00<0,00 dan nilai thitung 8,196>ttabel 1,77. Data lain yang didapatkan yaitu media audiovisual  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar  berdasarkan hasil pada pengujian hipotesis (uji t) sebesar 0,002<0,00 dan nilai thitung 3,510>ttabel 1,77. Data lainnya yang juga didapatkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu media audiovisual  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan membaca berdasarkan hasil pada pengujian hipotesis (uji t) sebesar 0,00<0,00 dan nilai thitung 4,393>ttabel 1,7. Data lain didapatkan juga yaitu media audiovisual  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan menyimak berdasarkan hasil pada pengujian hipotesis (uji t) sebesar 0,001<0,00 dan nilai thitung 4,026>ttabel 1,77.  Jadi dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil yaitu, (1) media audio visual  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat belajar  siswa kelas V SD Gugus Balla, Bittuang Kabupaten Tana Toraja, (2) media audio visual  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar  siswa kelas V SD Gugus Balla, Bittuang Kabupaten Tana Toraja, dan (3) media audio visual  berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan berbahasa reseptif (membaca dan menyimak)  siswa kelas V SD Gugus Balla, Bittuang Kabupaten Tana Toraja. This study aims to determine the influence of audio-visual learning media on motivation, interest, and receptive language skills in grade V students of SD Balla Bittuang Cluster, Tana Toraja Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental quantitative research design to examine the effect of experiential-based learning models on reading interest and student learning motivation where the learning model is applied to experimental classes. The population in this study was Class V elementary school students in the Balla Bittuang Cluster. The schools that are members of the Balla Bittuang Cluster include: SDN 3 Bittuang, SDN 10 Bittuang, SDN 12 Bittuang, SDN 17 Bittuang, SDN 13 Bittuang, and SDN 4 Bittuang where the total number of grade 5 students from the school is 117 students. Based on data obtained during the study, it was found that audiovisual media had a significant effect on learning interest based on the results of hypothesis testing (t test) which was 0,00<0,00 and score thitung 8,196>ttabel 1,77. Another data obtained is that audiovisual media has a significant effect on learning motivation based on the results of hypothesis testing (t test) of 0,002<0,00 and score thitung 3,510>ttabel 1,77. Other data that were also obtained in this study were audiovisual media had a significant effect on reading skills based on the results of hypothesis testing (t test) of 0,00<0,00 and score thitung 4,393>ttabel 1,7. Other data were also obtained that audiovisual media had a significant effect on listening skills based on the results of hypothesis testing (t test) of 0,001<0,00 and score thitung 4,026>ttabel 1,77. So from this study, the results were obtained, namely, (1) audio-visual media had a significant effect on the learning interest of grade V students of SD Balla Cluster, Bittuang, Tana Toraja Regency, (2) audio-visual media had a significant effect on the learning motivation of grade V students of SD Balla Cluster, Bittuang, Tana Toraja Regency, and (3) audio-visual media had a significant effect on receptive language skills (reading and listening) of grade V students of SD Balla Cluster,  Bittuang, Tana Toraja Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran dalam peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa kelas V SDN 1 Gandangbatu Sillanan dan mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Experiential Learning dalam peningkatan minat baca siswa Kelas V SDN 1 Gandangbatu Sillanan Tana Toraja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian kuantitatif. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah, semua siswa kelas V SDN 1 Gandangbatu Sillanan dengan jumlah yaitu 13 siswa. Intsrumen yang digunakan adalah angket dan studi pustaka. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini diolah dengan menggunakan software SPSS versi 23. Setelah melakukan penelitian, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa (1) Nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh dari hasil uji regresi di mana diperoleh nilai 0.003 nilai tersebut lebih kecil daripada nilai probabilitas 0.05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, yang berarti Ada pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Experiential Learning terhadap minat membaca siswa.  (2) Nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh dari hasil uji regresi dimana diperoleh nilai 0.000 nilai tersebut lebih kecil daripada nilai probabilitas 0.05 (0.000<0.05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, yang berarti Ada pengaruh antara Model Pembelajaran Experiential Learning terhadap Motivasi belajar siswa. This study aims (1) to determine the effect of the learning model in increasing the learning motivation of fifth grade students of SDN 1 Gandangbatu Sillanan. (2). To determine the effect of the Experiential Learning model in increasing the reading interest of Class V students of SDN 1 Gandangbatu Sillanan Tana Toraja. The research method used is quantitative research. The sample in this study were all fifth grade students of SDN 1 Gandangbatu Sillanan with a total of 13 students. Intsrumen used is a questionnaire and literature study. The data obtained in this study were processed using SPSS software version 23. After conducting the research, the researchers concluded that (1) The significance value obtained from the regression test results where a value of 0.003 was obtained, this value is smaller than the probability value of 0.05 so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means that there is an effect of the Experiential Learning Model on students' interest in reading.  (2) The significance value obtained from the regression test results where a value of 0.000 is obtained, this value is smaller than the probability value of 0.05 (0.000 <0.05) so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an influence between the Experiential Learning Model on student learning motivation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode demonstrasi terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar pembelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba Kecamatan Marusu Kabupaten Maros antara kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif berbasis positivisme dengan desain eksperimen Matching Pre-Test-Post-Test Comparison Group untuk menguji hubungan sebab-akibat melalui metode demonstrasi dan ceramah, serta menilai kemampuan kognitif siswa sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dan inferensial untuk mengevaluasi keterlaksanaan metode demonstrasi, motivasi, dan hasil belajar dari pre-test dan post-test, dengan uji prasyarat normalitas dan homogenitas sebelum menguji hipotesis. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa metode demonstrasi secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, dengan kelas eksperimen menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Uji Mann-Whitney U Test menunjukkan metode demonstrasi meningkatkan motivasi pembelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas IV secara signifikan (p-value 0.000), dengan rata-rata peringkat motivasi 41.88 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 15.13 untuk kelas kontrol, sedangkan uji Kruskal-Wallis Test menunjukkan metode demonstrasi meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS pada siswa kelas IV secara signifikan (p-value 0.000), dengan rata-rata peringkat hasil post-test 42.50 untuk kelas eksperimen dan 14.50 untuk kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode demonstrasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas IV UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, serta merekomendasikan penggunaan metode ini secara lebih sering, pelatihan bagi guru, penyediaan fasilitas yang memadai, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the demonstration method on motivation and learning outcomes of IPAS learning in class IV students of UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, Marusu District, Maros Regency between the control class and the experimental class. This study used a positivism-based quantitative approach with a Matching Pre-test-Post-test Comparison Group experimental design to test the cause-and-effect relationship through demonstration and lecture methods, and assess students' cognitive abilities before and after treatment. This study used descriptive and inferential analysis techniques to evaluate the implementation of the demonstration method, motivation, and learning outcomes from the pre-test and post-test, with prerequisite tests of normality and homogeneity before testing the hypothesis. The results of the analysis showed that the demonstration method significantly improved the motivation and learning outcomes of fourth grade students of UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, with the experimental class showing a significant improvement over the control class. The Mann-Whitney U Test showed that the demonstration method significantly increased the motivation of IPAS learning in grade IV students (p-value 0.000), with an average motivation rating of 41.88 for the experimental class and 15.13 for the control class, while the Kruskal-Wallis Test showed that the demonstration method significantly increased IPAS learning outcomes in grade IV students (p-value 0.000), with an average post-test result rating of 42.50 for the experimental class and 14.50 for the control class. This study concludes that the demonstration method has a significant effect in increasing the motivation and learning outcomes of grade IV students of UPTD SDN 137 Inpres Kaemba, and recommends more frequent use of this method, training for teachers, provision of adequate facilities, and continuous evaluation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode permainan kartu kata dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar kosakata Bahasa Indonesia pada murid Kelas 1A UPT SPF SD Negeri Sudirman II Kota Makassar, serta untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar kosakata Bahasa Indonesia setelah penerapan metode tersebut. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan subjek penelitian 20 murid. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, observasi, wawancara, dan diskusi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan meliputi analisis kualitatif untuk data observasi dan analisis kuantitatif menggunakan teknik persentase untuk hasil tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode permainan kartu kata dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa. Pada siklus I, penguasaan materi rata-rata siswa mencapai 59,5%, yang kemudian meningkat menjadi 74% pada siklus II dan 85,25% pada siklus III. Peningkatan ini menunjukkan adanya dampak positif terhadap penguasaan kosakata siswa. Selain itu, observasi menunjukkan perubahan perilaku siswa yang lebih aktif, antusias, dan serius dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Kelas menjadi lebih hidup, dan tugas-tugas yang diberikan dapat diselesaikan dengan baik. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode permainan kartu kata efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kosakata Bahasa Indonesia pada murid Kelas 1A UPT SPF SD Negeri Sudirman II Kota Makassar. This study aims to describe the application of the card word game method in enhancing Indonesian vocabulary learning activities among grade 1A students at UPT SPF SD Negeri Sudirman II Makassar, and to assess the improvement in vocabulary learning outcomes following the implementation of this method. The research employed a classroom action research (CAR) approach with 20 students as the subjects. Data were collected through tests, observations, interviews, and discussions. Qualitative analysis was used for observational data, while quantitative analysis was applied to test results using percentage techniques. The findings show that the card word game method significantly improved student engagement in learning. In Cycle I, the average vocabulary mastery was 59.5%, which increased to 74% in Cycle II and 85.25% in Cycle III. This improvement indicates a positive effect on students' vocabulary acquisition. Moreover, observations revealed that students became more active, enthusiastic, and serious in following lessons. The classroom atmosphere was more dynamic, and tasks were completed more efficiently. Therefore, it can be concluded that the card word game method is effective in improving Indonesian vocabulary learning outcomes among grade 1A students at UPT SPF SD Negeri Sudirman II Makassar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh media puzzle kata berbasis teknik Montessori terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan dan motivasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 55 siswa kelas I SD yang tersebar pada dua kelas eksperimen dan dua kelas kontrol. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas I di empat sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Balocci, Kabupaten Pangkajene Kepulauan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media puzzle kata berbasis teknik Montessori memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keterampilan membaca permulaan, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05. Selain itu, media ini juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 yang lebih kecil dari 0,005. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa media puzzle kata berbasis Montessori efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca serta motivasi belajar siswa. This study aims to describe the impact of Montessori-based word puzzle media on early reading skills and student learning motivation. The study uses a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group approach. The research sample consists of 55 first-grade students across two experimental classes and two control classes. The population of this study is all first-grade students from four elementary schools in Balocci District, Pangkajene Kepulauan Regency. The results of the study indicate that Montessori-based word puzzle media has a positive and significant impact on early reading skills, with a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05. Additionally, this media also has a positive and significant impact on student learning motivation, with a significance value of 0.000, which is less than 0.005. These findings suggest that Montessori-based word puzzle media is effective in improving both early reading skills and student learning motivation.

Abstract

Technology in the learning process can assist in providing teaching materials to students, making it easier for students, teachers, and parents to react whenever and wherever they are; facilitate and assist in the preparation of materials sourced from the internet; as well as assist in simulating, visualizing the learning process in a structured, processed, and scientific manner. This research analyzed the student's need to develop the mobile application. This research used the steps in the combined research and development (RD) and analysis, design, develop, implement, and evaluate (ADDIE) models. The study was conducted in Makassar, and the research subject was the students at Junior High School, with 100 randomly selected participants. The data were analyzed descriptively using interviews, observations, and participant questionnaires. The result showed that students need applications containing material that is easier to understand, using audio or video using Indonesian speakers, and interactive exercises so the students can improve their speaking skills. Based on the results of the questionnaire, the researcher synergized the school's existing curriculum with the needs analysis (N.A.) carried out by the researcher so that the results of this study would benefit the English as a foreign language (EFL) young learners, teachers, and stakeholders.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Bamboo Dancing terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III Kota Makassar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan pre-eksperimental design, spesifiknya One-Group pre-test post-test design. Metode ini dilakukan dengan adanya pre-test sebelum perlakuan dan post-test setelah melakukan perlakuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Bamboo Dancing terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara pada siswa. Teknik analisis data meliputi uji prasyarat (normalitas dan homogenitas) dan uji hipotesis t-test paired dengan menggunakan SPSS 26 for Windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara nilai pre-test dengan nilai post-test pada hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara pada siswa. Setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran bamboo dancing. hal ini dapat terlihat bahwa terdapat peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari pre-test ke post-test. Rata-rata nilai pre-test siswa adalah 64.0476, sedangkan rata-rata nilai post-test siswa meningkat menjadi 76.4286. Kesimpulannya, penggunaan model pembelajaran Bamboo Dancing berpengeruh positif terhadap hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara pada siswa kelas IV UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III Kota Makassar. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Bamboo Dancing dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan berbicara siswa. This research is experimental research using pre-experimental design, the specification is one-group pre-test post-test design. This method is carried out with a pre-test before treatment and post-test after treatment to determine the effect of using the Bamboo Dancing learning model on the learning outcomes of speaking skills in students. Data analysis techniques include prerequisite tests (normality and homogeneity) and paired t-test hypothesis testing using SPSS 26 for windows. The results of the analysis showed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores on the learning outcomes of students speaking skills. After using the Bamboo Dancing learning model. It can bee seen that the increase in the average score from pre-test to post-test. The average student pre-test score was 64,0476, while thw average student’s post-test score increased to 76.4286. in conclusion, the use of the Bamboo Dancing learning model has a positive effect on the learning outcomes of speaking skills in class 4 UPT SPF SD Inpres Layang III. Thus the Bamboo Dancing learning model can improve the learning outcomes of speaking skills in students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui model Problem Based Learning dalam dan pembelajaran cerpen pada siswa kelas 6 UPT SPF SD Inpres Baraya 1 dan mendeskripsikan keaktifan model Problem Based Learning dalam pembelajaran cerpen pada siswa kelas 6 UPT SPF SD Inpres Baraya 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel kelas 6 (A) dan kelas 6 (B) dengan jumlah siswa 64 orang sedangkan sumber data menggunakan data primer. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan pengolah data dengan SPSS. Alat uji yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji one – sampel test. Penyajian data dengan tabel dan narasi yang berhubungan dengan variabel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terkait pembelajaran cerpen dengan Model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan prestasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia kelas 6 UPT SPF SD. Inpres Baraya I. Tugas utama seorang guru hanya mendidik, melatih dan mengajar siswa. Akan tetapi yang lebih penting dapat menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa yang menyenangkan melalui kegiatan diskusi di kelas, Hasil pretest dengan nilai rata – rata 65 sedangkan posttestnya dengan rata – rata 73. Dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di sekolah dasar seharusnya dilakukan dengan berbagai pendekatan. Pendekatan dan metode belajar yang tepat membuat siswa lebih mudah menguasai pelajaran dengan cepat. This study aims to determine, (1) describe the Problem Based Learning model in and short story learning for grade 6 students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Baraya 1, (2) to describe the activeness of the Problem Based Learning model in short story learning for grade 6 students of UPT SPF SD Inpres Baraya 1. This study used samples of grade 6 (A) and grade 6 (B) with a total of 64 students while the data source used primary data. Data analysis of this study used data processing with SPSS. The test tools used were normality test, homogeneity test and one-sample test. Data presentation with tables and narratives related to the research variables. The results of this study indicate that related to short story learning with the Problem Based Learning Model can improve student achievement and learning outcomes in learning Indonesian language class 6 UPT SPF SD. Inpres Baraya I. The main task of a teacher is only to educate, train and teach students. However, what is more important is to be able to foster students' interest in learning which is enjoyable through discussion activities in class, The pretest results with an average score of 65 while the posttest with an average of 73. In learning Indonesian language in elementary schools should be carried out with various approaches. The right approach and learning method make it easier for students to master lessons quickly.
