Abstract

Improving the quality of education automatically has an impact on improving the quality and competence of education, so that educational goals can be achieved properly. Education must have several competencies, and about the pedagogical competence of education must be the effect of very important lessons which also apply to Islamic cultural history lessons. The formulation of the research problem to realize educational pedagogic competence in Islamic cultural history learning, the purpose of this research is to find out how effective the educators' pedagogics are in choosing the Islamic cultural history learning method. The form and type of this research are field research using descriptive methods, data collection using observation, documentation and interview techniques that are submitted to educators in the field of Islamic cultural history and school principals. The results of this study indicate 1. Educators in the field of Islamic cultural history at MTsN 5 Padang Pariaman have used the learning method but it is still not right, 2. Educators are still not effective in using the method. 3. The impact of using the method by educators causes students to be sleepy, unable to concentrate. The conclusion of this study is that the use of methods in learning the history of Islamic culture is still less effective because the selection of learning methods is still not right. Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify strategy to use theory of behaviorism in learning. Library research was employed to meet the aim. Several books and articles were analyzed to know what the strategy of teaching in the classroom using behavioristic approach. The results indicate that the purpose of learning is mainly to gain knowledge and forming students’ habits. At the end of the study, critique to the theory and its implication for future research are provided.

Abstract

This research aims to : This research method uses qualitative with a descriptive approach, with data collection through observation, in-depth interviews as the main data collection tool and documentation as supporting data. Data analysis techniques used by collecting data, summarising data, presenting the data and drawing conclusions from the data that has been processed. The results of this study show that Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMAN 5 Pariaman play an important role in shaping students' character through an inclusive and interactive approach. They provide real examples of Islamic values to be applied in daily life and provide strong moral support and motivation to students. In addition, Islamic Education teachers also play a role in helping learners understand and practice worship consistently, even in distance learning situations. The role of Islamic Education teachers at SMAN 5 Pariaman is very important in shaping students' character and their worship discipline, especially in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period. The results of this study provide valuable insights into how Islamic religious education can continue to adapt to changing times and have a positive impact on student development. The implication of this research is the need to continue to support and develop the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in Islamic religious education in the future.

Abstract

To create a more enjoyable English language learning environment for students, an emotional approach is often required. This is because learning English is sometimes perceived as intimidating by some students. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the influence of students' interest and emotional intelligence on their learning outcomes. The research method employed is quantitative research with a survey approach adopting a cross-sectional design. The research sample consists of 40 seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Pariaman, selected using purposive random sampling. Research instruments include observation sheets, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis results indicate that students' interest and emotional intelligence significantly affect their learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended for English teachers to pay more attention to students' interests and emotional intelligence in their efforts to enhance understanding and academic achievements.

Abstract

Pendidikan sebagai investasi telah menjadi fokus utama dalam diskusi pembangunan ekonomi dan sosial. Penelitian ini menyelidiki peran pendidikan sebagai modal manusia yang vital dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan peninjauan literatur, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bukti empiris yang mendukung hubungan positif antara investasi dalam pendidikan dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi, penciptaan lapangan kerja, peningkatan produktivitas, dan pengurangan disparitas pendapatan. Hasil penelitian menyoroti pentingnya akses pendidikan yang merata, kualitas pendidikan yang tinggi, dan relevansi kurikulum dengan tuntutan pasar kerja dalam memperkuat efek positif pendidikan terhadap kesejahteraan ekonomi. Implikasi kebijakan yang diidentifikasi menekankan perlunya investasi yang berkelanjutan dalam pendidikan, penguatan pelatihan keterampilan, dan penciptaan lingkungan yang mendukung inovasi dan kewirausahaan. Jurnal ini berkontribusi pada pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang bagaimana pendidikan dapat menjadi katalisator utama dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat serta memberikan landasan bagi pengembangan kebijakan yang berorientasi pada pertumbuhan inklusif dan berkelanjutan.
