Abstract

The Indonesian Fisheries Workers and Seafarers Union (KP3I) has a significant role to play in improving the human resource competence (HRM) of the crew of domestic fishing vessels. This article examines the various challenges faced by fishing crews, including lack of training and education, inadequate working conditions, and economic and social uncertainty. KP3I plays a role through the conduct of comprehensive training and education programmes, advocacy and protection of labour rights, as well as collaboration with governments and related agencies. Case studies show that the program has successfully improved the efficiency and well-being of workers, which contributes to increased productivity and competitiveness of the national fishing industry.Strategic recommendations for sustainable competence development include support from governments and the private sector, as well as the promotion of education and training.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how radicalism develops and influences members of the JAD, Bima group and how the concept of amaliyah is implemented by group members using Berger and Luckmaan's social construction theory which is described through the process of internalization, objectivation, and externalization. This research is qualitative with a case study approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with informants selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research shows that the JAD group becomes radicalized when there is an incomplete understanding of the teachings of Islam, they are taught a book that discusses the law of blood against those who oppose or fall into the group of infidels entitled Ahkamuddimah. The JAD group has the concept of iddat or war preparation which begins with the process of teaching Islamic values and is followed by training to strengthen mentally and physically. The concept of amaliyah is recognized as jihad or a struggle to defend religion in order to invent a state life based on Islam. The internalization process is interpreted as a value-teaching activity. At the same time, objectivation is a process where members strengthen their position as part of the group by learning religious values and training consistently. The externalization process is interpreted as the implementation of values and awareness of realizing religious teachings in real actions known as jihad through extreme actions. As a result of the JAD group, Bima contributed to shaping the negative public perception of Islam.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low social care character of the fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Pohgading. This study aims to analyze the effect of applying the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative learning model on the social caring character of fifth grade students at SD Negeri 2 Pohgading. This is quantitative research with ex post facto research methods with 41 students of class V SD Negeri 2 Pohgading as population and were 20 VA class students as samples determined using the Purposive Sampling technique. Data collection techniques used interviews, documentation and questionnaires on a scale of five. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and simple linear regression. The results indicate that the cooperative learning model of the TGT type has an effect on the formation of the socially caring character of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Pohgading with the testing criterion that is if the sig value is 0.00 <0.05 then there is an influence between the X and Y variables or Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, otherwise the sig value is 0.00 > 0.05. Thus, it is not affected by the variables X and Y or Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

Pesantren Sering Digambarkan Dengan Lingkungan Yang Tertutup Dari Dunia Luar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan pengembangan kurikulum di era modern, fokus Utama penelitian ini mengidentifikasi prinsip-prinsip dasar, Strategi Implementasi, dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam merancang kurikulum yang relevan dengan kebutuhan zaman tanpa mengesampingkan nilai-nilai tradisional pesantren. Penelitian Ini Merupakan Penilitian Kepustakaan, teknik pengumpulan data melalui tela’ah literatur dari buku, jurnal, dan dokumen Terkait. Hasil Penelitian Menunjukkan Bahwa Pengembangan Kurikulum Pesantren Yang Ideal Memadukan Tiga Elemen Utama Yaitu: 1.Keutuhan Pembelajaran Kitab Kuning, 2. Penguatan Keterampilan Hidup (Life Skills),3. Integrasi Teknologi Digital. juga Bahasa Yang Sama Dari 3 Edialis Tersebut Yaitu: Salafiyah (Tradisional), Khalafiyah (Modern) Dan Konvergensi/ Konprehensif (Perpaduan Tradisional Dan Modern). Berdasarkan Tipologi Tersebut, Ternyata Pengembangan Kurikulum Pesantren Tetap Mampu Mengantarkan Santrinya Untuk Tetap Eksis Menghadapi Era Modern Selain Itu Ditemukan Bahwa Fleksibilitas Kurikulum Serta Keterlibatan Aktif Kiai Dan Santri Menjadi Kunci Keberhasilan Dalam Proses Berjalannya Kurikulum Pesantren. Abstract

Budaya sebagai produk pemikiran dan kreativitas manusia yang diwariskan melalui generasi, mencerminkan identitas suatu bangsa, di Indonesia, keberagaman budaya melambangkan keunikan bangsa. Namun globalisasi menjadi ancaman signifikan terhadap pelestarian budaya lokal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran pesantren dalam meneguhkan identitas budaya indonesia di tengah arus modernisasi. Pendekatan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa budaya adalah hasil karya dan agasan manusia yang diwariskan dari generasi ke generasi, mencerminkan identitas suatu bangsa. Di Indonesia, keberagaman budaya menjadi simbol keunikan bangsa. Namun, globalisasi dengan pengaruh budaya asing yang kuat, terutama lewat teknologi dan media massa, mengancam kelestarian budaya lokal. Pesantren berperan penting dalam menjaga identitas budaya, khususnya budaya Islam. Selain mengajarkan agama melalui kitab kuning, pesantren juga membentuk karakter dan nilai moral santrinya. Pesantren tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai lembaga pendidikan agama, tetapi juga sebagai pelestari budaya lokal, dengan mengajarkan keterampilan sosial, kepemimpinan, dan ilmu pengetahuan.

Abstract

Digitalisasi dalam pendidikan pesantren menghadirkan tantangan dan peluang dalam menjaga tradisi keislaman sekaligus beradaptasi dengan perkembangan teknologi. Pondok Pesantren An-Nur 2 Al-Murtadlo Malang sebagai salah satu pesantren besar di Indonesia mulai mengadopsi teknologi digital dalam sistem pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi digitalisasi dalam internalisasi nilai Aswaja bagi Generasi Z. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana pesantren mengintegrasikan teknologi seperti Maktabah Syamilah, e-learning, dan media sosial dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran jika diterapkan dengan strategi yang tepat, seperti pendekatan blended learning, pelatihan literasi digital bagi tenaga pengajar dan santri, serta regulasi yang seimbang antara penggunaan teknologi dan tradisi pesantren. Selain itu, tantangan utama yang dihadapi mencakup keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesiapan sumber daya manusia, serta kekhawatiran terhadap perubahan pola belajar santri. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa digitalisasi bukan ancaman bagi pesantren, tetapi dapat menjadi alat efektif untuk menanamkan nilai-nilai Aswaja kepada Generasi Z jika diterapkan dengan strategi yang tepat dan terarah

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang kontribusi Masjid Raya Nurul Islam dalam perkembangan Islam di Kota Palangka Raya dalam rentang waktu 1967-2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memberikan pengetahuan tentang bagaimana Islam masuk ke Palangka Raya, serta mengkaji kontribusi Masjid Raya Nurul Islam bagi kota tersebut dari tahun 1967-2023. (2) merinci sejarah Masjid Raya Nurul Islam dari tahun 1967-2023. (3) Kontribusi Masjid Raya Nurul Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yaitu: Pemilihan topik, heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Islam di Palangka Raya bermula di wilayah Desa Pahandut yang diawali dengan kedatangan tokoh agama bernama Muhammad Madjedi yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari masjid tempat para jamaah berkumpul. Masjid memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap masyarakat, khususnya terhadap perkembangan masyarakat Islam. Masjid berfungsi sebagai titik fokus untuk afiliasi keagamaan, pengabdian, dan komunikasi, yang semuanya berkontribusi pada pembentukan masyarakat Islam di Palangka Raya. (2) Masjid tertua kedua di Kota Palangka Raya, Masjid Raya Nurul Islam, mulai dibangun tidak lama setelah Muhammad Madjedi tiba di Pahandut. Sebelumnya, ia pernah membangun Masjid Nurul Hikmah yang kini menjadi Langgar, tetapi terlalu kecil untuk menampung jamaah salat Jumat. Maka, ia membangunnya kembali menjadi Masjid Raya Nurul Islam yang kini kokoh, besar, dan cukup luas untuk menampung jamaah shalat Jumat. (3) Nama Masjid Raya Nurul Islam memberikan gambaran dan kontribusi masjid dari segi pendidikan, sosial, dan keagamaan terhadap masyarakat/jamaah yang berada di sekitar Kecamatan Pahandut tepatnya di Jl. Ahmad Yani daerah Pasar Palangka Sari.

Abstract

The tradition of grave burying is one of the cultural heritage of the Banjar community in South Kalimantan, full of spiritual and social values. This tradition grew from a combination of pre-Islamic local customs and Islamic teachings deeply rooted in the lives of the community. This grave-burying tradition has the background to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and show social concern in the form of ta'ziyah and togetherness in times of grief, which makes it unique to study. Several previous studies have examined the phenomenon of the grave burying tradition around the living hadith of the implementation, laws and views of scholars about grave burying. What distinguishes it from this study is that the perpetrators of this tradition are not only Banjar people but also those from outside the area. In addition, this tradition is also a means to reflect on life before death. Based on observations of the socio-cultural realities of the community at the location, this study uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques based on observation and in-depth interviews with residents, grave guards and RKM (death pillars) around the Amuntai Muslim Residents' Cemetery Complex (HSU) as informants. Based on the results of observations and interviews, several motives for carrying out the grave burying tradition can be obtained. First, the community's belief in the arrival of the angels Munkar and Nakir immediately after the mourners leave the grave is the theological basis of this tradition. Although not explicitly mentioned in the Qur'an or Hadith as mandatory worship, this tradition is considered not to be contrary to Islamic teachings as long as it is carried out with good intentions and does not contain elements of shirk. Second, its implementation involves the activity of reading the Qur'an around the grave for several days after the funeral, with the aim of providing peace for the bereaved family and praying for the deceased to obtain spaciousness in the grave. Third, in the context of values, the grave guardrail reflects Islamic values such as compassion, care, social solidarity, and respect for the corpse. This tradition also shows a form of obedience and community effort in maintaining a spiritual relationship between the living and the deceased. Thus, the grave guardrail is not only a local cultural heritage but also a manifestation of Islamic values in the daily lives of Muslims in South Kalimantan and its surroundings. REFERENCES Abidin. Abstract

Mazhab Frankfurt, dengan pendekatan kritisnya terhadap masyarakat kapitalis, telah memberikan kontribusi signifikan dalam memahami dinamika sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sejauh mana pemikiran Mazhab Frankfurt mempengaruhi gerakan sosial kontemporer di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengidentifikasi konsep-konsep utama Mazhab Frankfurt yang relevan dengan gerakan sosial di Indonesia; (2) menganalisis bagaimana konsep-konsep tersebut diinterpretasi dan diterapkan dalam gerakan sosial; dan (3) mengevaluasi dampak pemikiran Mazhab Frankfurt terhadap dinamika dan keberhasilan gerakan sosial di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menganalisis dokumen-dokumen gerakan sosial, melakukan wawancara mendalam dengan aktivis, dan melakukan studi kasus pada beberapa gerakan sosial yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsep-konsep seperti alienasi, reifikasi, dan industri budaya yang dikembangkan oleh Mazhab Frankfurt masih relevan dalam menganalisis dinamika gerakan sosial kontemporer di Indonesia. Gerakan-gerakan sosial di Indonesia seringkali mengkritik struktur sosial yang tidak adil, mengupayakan emansipasi, dan mempertanyakan hegemoni kekuasaan. Kesimpulan: Pemikiran Mazhab Frankfurt telah memberikan inspirasi dan kerangka analisis yang penting bagi gerakan sosial di Indonesia. Konsep-konsep yang dikembangkan oleh Mazhab Frankfurt membantu aktivis untuk memahami akar permasalahan sosial dan merumuskan strategi perjuangan yang lebih efektif. Namun, penerapan konsep-konsep tersebut dalam konteks Indonesia membutuhkan penyesuaian dan perkayaaan dengan teori-teori lokal.
