Abstract

Low student achievement in chemistry is often linked to difficulties in understanding abstract concepts, particularly when instructional media lack interactivity and variation. This study aims to investigate the effect of using augmented reality (AR)-based interactive student worksheets (LKPD) on students’ learning outcomes in the topic of chemical equilibrium. The research employed a quasi-experimental design, specifically the nonequivalent control group design. The sample consisted of 72 students from class XI at a senior high school, divided into two groups: XI-F1 G (experimental group) and XI-F1 F (control group), each comprising 36 students. A multiple-choice test consisting of 20 items was used as the research instrument to measure students' learning outcomes. The data were analyzed using SPSS version 25, and the hypothesis was tested through an independent samples t-test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.001, which is less than α = 0.05, indicating a statistically significant difference between the two groups. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of interactive LKPD integrated with augmented reality media has a significant positive effect on students’ learning outcomes in chemical equilibrium. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing Android-based interactive multimedia on learning outcomes and student motivation at SMA Negeri 1 Binjai, Langkat Regency. The method used in this research is the descriptive quantitative research method. The data collection instruments used in this study were questionnaires (questionnaires) and tests. The data analysis technique used in this research is a quantitative descriptive analysis using the one-sample t-test formula and correlation test. The learning outcomes of students who are taught using Android-based interactive multimedia obtained by students are higher than the KKM value set at school, which is 75, with an average value of student learning outcomes of 86.91 and a sig. = 0.000 0.05 from the results of the one-sample t-test conducted. The results of the student's motivation towards android-based interactive multimedia obtained an average percentage of 87.57 in the highly motivated category. Motivation and learning outcomes of students have a positive relationship with a very strong strength with the obtained Pearson Correlation value of 0.941 and a coefficient of determination of 88.5%.

Abstract

This study seeks to explain the treatment processes of drinking water and wastewater, along with water source conservation practices in schools to sustain clean water availability. The approach combines literature review, policy analysis, and case studies of applied water treatment technologies. Findings indicate that drinking water treatment includes coagulation–flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection, while wastewater undergoes primary, secondary, and tertiary stages. Case studies highlight the effectiveness of electrocoagulation, filtration, and plasma methods in reducing pollutants. In school settings, conservation is implemented through efficient water use, environmental greening, and plastic waste management. Overall, integrating treatment technologies with conservation initiatives contributes to improved health, quality of life, and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the needs before developing computational chemistry-based learning media on hydrocarbon materials. This research is classified as development research developed with the ADDIE model. It's just that the stage used in this study is only limited to the analysis stage. Data collection in research is carried out by literature study methods and field studies with research instruments in the form of questionnaires on learning media needs and interviews by teachers. The location of this study is SMA Negeri Modal Bangsa Arun. Based on the results of interviews with chemistry teachers, it was found that learning hydrocarbon material at the high school level requires more effort because students must understand molecular structure, chemical bonds, and atomic structure. This makes students less understanding of concepts microscopically and can also cause misconceptions. Then, the results of the needs analysis show that there are still limited learning media that support microscopic concepts, especially the shape of molecules in 3-D. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that it is necessary to develop computational chemistry-based learning media on hydrocarbon materials.

Abstract

Sansevieria (Sansevieria trifasciata) fibers and water hyacinth (Eichhornia Crassipes) fibers as natural fiber producers with good quality have good potential to be developed. This study aims to examine the production and characteristics of composites made from sansevieria fiber and water hyacinth fiber with a polyester matrix through the employment of the hand lay up method. This composite uses variations in the composition of the fiber mixture by soaking 5% NaOH for 2 hours at room temperature, for the resulting composite material. The resulting composite material is then subjected to a bending test to determine its mechanical properties, utilizing the ASTM D638 test standard. Based on the conducted research, the most favorable outcomes in terms of bending test results and modulus of elasticity are observed with a 10% incorporation of sansevieria fiber, yielding an average of 5.520 MPa for bending test and an elastic modulus of 7.444 MPa. Alternatively, when combining both fibers, the optimal mixture consists of 20% sansevieria fiber and 20% eceng gondok fiber, resulting in an average bending test value of 7.503 MPa and a modulus of elasticity of 7.873 MPa.

Abstract

Pendidikan di era sekarang telah memberikan dampak yang cukup besar terhadap sektor kehidupan. Untuk menghindari bertambahnya kasus, Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan telah membuat kebijakan tentang proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan secara Blended Learning. Dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran tersebut, diperlukan media pembelajaran yang tepat, agar pembelajaran tetap dapat berjalan dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis persepsi peserta didik terhadap multimedia interaktif berbasis android kelas X SMA. Jenis penelitian adalah deskripsi kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Binjai Langkat, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X IPA 1 sebanyak 34 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan instrumen angket menggunakan skala likert. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar angket persepsi peserta didik serta data dianalisis dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rerata dari 10 pertanyaan di lembar angket peserta didik 88% termasuk kriteria sangat baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul pembelajaran proyek berbasis pada materi asam dan basa untuk kelas XI SMA. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan, dengan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, yaitu tahap pendefinisian, perancangan, pengembangan, dan penyebaran. Yaitu validator ahli media dan validator ahli materi. Objek penelitian pengembangan ini adalah e-modul berbasis project based learning pada materi asam basa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi dan angket. Penelitian ini diuji oleh ahli materi dan media. Hasil validasi ahli materi memperoleh persentase rata-rata sebesar 89,18% dengan kategori layak digunakan, sedangkan hasil validasi ahli media memperoleh persentase sebesar 93,75% dengan kategori layak digunakan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis Project-Based Learning pada materi Asam dan Basa untuk kelas XI SMA dinyatakan layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran PDEODE lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi laju reaksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu. Sampel dari penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PDEODE (Predict-Discuss-Explain-Observe-Discuss-Explain) dan kelas kontrol yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model konvensional. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model PDEODE sebesar (81,25 ± 6,22) lebih tinggi dibandingkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional yaitu (76,56 ± 6,89). Hasil hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji t tangan kanan dan α = 0,05 diperoleh thitung ttabel (2,86 1,670) terhadap hasil belajar siswa sehingga dalam penelitian ini hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H₂) diterima.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa terhadap media E-Learning berbasis webblog dengan pendekatan CTL. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan metode (RD) dengan model ADDIE meliputi tahapan (analysis, design, development, implementation dan evaluation). Produk yang dikembangkan divalidasi oleh 3 validator ahli yang terdiri dari 2 orang dosen kimia dan 1 orang guru kimia. Rata – rata  hasil validasi media terintergrasi Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) oleh dosen dan guru kimia yang telah dikembangkan adalah 3,70 pada kategori sangat layak dan validasi materi adalah 3,71 pada kategori sangat layak dan tidak butuh revisi. . Pengunaan Media terintegrasi Contextual Teaching and Learning pada materi Laju Reaksi, diperoleh rata-rata N-Gain Score sebesar 56,0% dimana artinya pembelajaran menggunakan media E-Learning cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh sig.(2. Tailed) sebesar 0,00 dimana sig. yang diperoleh 0,05 yang artinya ada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran ICARE lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan hasil belajar siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran konvensional pada materi asam basa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah eksperimen semu. Sampel dari penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran ICARE (Pendahuluan, Koneksi, Penerapan, Refleksi, Ekstensi) dan kelas kontrol yang diajarkan dengan model konvensional. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model ICARE sebesar (81,33) lebih tinggi dibandingkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan model konvensional yaitu (65,16). Hasil hipotesis menggunakan Independent Sample T-test dengan α = 0,05 diperoleh nilai Sig. 0,00 0,05 sehingga dalam penelitian ini hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternatif (H₂) diterima.
