Abstract

This study aims to formulate a model for preventing counterproductive work behavior within the UPT Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Southeast Sulawesi (Study on LPKA Class II Kendari). The research design used in this study is qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Qualitative research with a descriptive approach aims to make an accurate and factual picture of the facts found during research. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis. Overall, this study found six models of prevention of counterproductive work behavior in LPKA Class II Kendari. The six models are: 1) define clear targets; (2) be firm in the implementation of the rules; (3) the leader becomes a role model; (4) reward and punishment; (5) improvement of control and supervisory functions; and (6) the construction of Integrity Zones.

Abstract

The Bahteramas Regional Public Hospital (RSUD Bahteramas), as a government-owned institution, is responsible for providing optimal services to the public as service users. In managing its human resources to achieve effective and efficient employee performance, the hospital requires organizational synergy that can affect the successful attainment of its vision and mission, particularly as a healthcare institution. The primary objective of this research is to investigate and evaluate the impact of job satisfaction on employee performance, with organizational culture serving as a mediating variable. This research employs a quantitative method and utilizes the convenience sampling approach for participant selection, and 71 employees of RSUD Bahteramas, Southeast Sulawesi Province, were selected as respondents through a questionnaire survey. The data were examined through Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling. Findings revealed that job satisfaction does not have a significant implication on employee performance. In contrast, organizational culture emerges as a strong positive determinant, exerting a meaningful and statistically significant impact on employee performance. On the other hand, organizational culture can strengthen in mediating the linkage between employee job satisfaction and their performance outcomes. In theoretical terms, the results of this study expand the understanding of the relationship between job satisfaction, organizational culture, and employee performance within the context of human resource management. In practical terms, the findings provide guidance for hospital management in formulating strategies and policies that foster a productive and positive work environment. Conceptually, this research is grounded in theories of job satisfaction, organizational culture, and employee performance, emphasizing the importance of internal factors in influencing individual performance within an organization.

Abstract

Program Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan untuk memperkuat kapasitas kelembagaan para pengrajin pandai besi di Pulau Binongko, Kabupaten Wakatobi, yang secara historis dikenal sebagai pusat keahlian pengrajin pandai besi di Sulawesi Tenggara. Tujuan utama kegiatan ini adalah: (1) mengidentifikasi dan melembagakan para pengrajin pandai besi di Pulau Binongko sehingga mereka memiliki struktur organisasi yang lebih kuat; (2) mengkolaborasikan peran para stakeholder, termasuk pemerintah daerah, akademisi, dan dunia usaha dalam upaya meningkatkan kapasitas kelembagaan pengrajin; serta (3) memfasilitasi penyediaan sarana dan prasarana kerja bagi para pengrajin melalui model kolaborasi berkelanjutan. Bahan dan metode: Metode pada pelaksanaan pengabdian ini yaitu metode ceramah, diskusi, tanya jawab dan praktik langsung, peserta pelatihan mendapatkan pendampingan intensif mengenai teknik produksi, pengelolaan usaha, serta strategi meningkatkan kualitas produk. Pendekatan kolaboratif ini tidak hanya bertujuan meningkatkan keterampilan teknis, tetapi juga mendorong semangat pemberdayaan masyarakat setempat agar tradisi dan keahlian asli di Pulau Binongko tetap lestari serta mampu beradaptasi dengan perkembangan zaman. Hasil: Program ini menghasilkan pemetaan lengkap terhadap keberadaan dan kebutuhan pengrajin pandai besi di Pulau Binongko, terbentuknya kelembagaan awal kelompok pengrajin, meningkatnya pengetahuan teknis mengenai peningkatan kualitas produk, serta tersedianya bantuan sarana penunjang berupa peralatan dasar pendukung produksi. Selain itu, kolaborasi antar stakeholder menunjukkan efektivitas dalam mempercepat penyediaan kebutuhan pengrajin dan membuka peluang pemasaran produk ke wilayah yang lebih luas. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini berkontribusi signifikan dalam memperkuat kapasitas pengrajin pandai besi melalui penguatan kelembagaan, peningkatan keterampilan, serta penyediaan sarana produksi. Model kolaborasi berkelanjutan antar stakeholder terbukti menjadi pendekatan yang efektif untuk mendukung keberlanjutan usaha pengrajin serta melestarikan warisan budaya tempa khas Pulau Binongko.
