Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate an automated trading strategy based on an Expert Advisor (EA) integrating the Volume Weighted Average Price (VWAP) and Relative Vigor Index (RVI) indicators for the USD/JPY currency pair. The EA was developed using the MQL5 programming language on the MetaTrader 5 platform and tested through a Research and Development (R&D) approach with a prototyping model. Testing was conducted under two timeframe scenarios (H1 and H4), including backtesting using historical data from 2021 to 2024, and real-time testing from April 22 to May 22, 2025. The backtesting results indicated positive performance with a favorable profit factor, Sharpe ratio, and win ratio, reflecting system stability and profit potential. However, real-time testing revealed decreased profitability due to higher market volatility and unpredictability. An independent t-test showed a significant difference in the balance variable, while profit and total deal trades were statistically insignificant. The findings suggest that combining VWAP and RVI has potential for automated trading systems, but further parameter optimization and the integration of technical filters are required to enhance robustness under real market conditions.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh suku bunga, nilai tukar, dan jumlah uang yang beredar terhadap indeks saham gabungan di Indonesia selama periode 2012-2022. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan mempertimbangkan data bulanan dari berbagai sumber seperti Bank Indonesia, Bursa Efek Indonesia, dan Badan Pusat Statistik. Hasil pengolahan data menggunakan Statiscal Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 25 untuk windows. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara suku bunga, nilai tukar, jumlah uang yang beredar, dan indeks saham gabungan di Indonesia. Suku bunga tidak berpengaruh negatif terhadap indeks saham gabungan, menunjukkan bahwa kenaikan suku bunga cenderung menyebabkan penurunan nilai indeks saham. Nilai tukar memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap indeks harga saham gabungan. Jumlah uang yang beredar memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap indeks saham gabungan, menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan jumlah uang yang beredar cenderung berdampak positif pada kinerja indeks saham.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of Internship, Family Environment, and Motivation to Enter the Workforce on the Work Readiness of Grade XII Marketing students at SMK Swasta Jambi Medan.The research was conducted at SMK Swasta Jambi Medan with a total of 74 Grade XII Marketing students as participants, selected through total sampling. This study employed a quantitative approach, and data were collected using structured questionnaires.The results of the multiple linear regression analysis reveal that Internship has a positive and significant effect on students’ work readiness (t = 5.942 > 1.994; p = 0.000 < 0.05), Family Environment (t = 5.956 > 1.994; p = 0.000 < 0.05), and Motivation to Enter the Workforce (t = 5.469 > 1.994; p = 0.000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, these three variables significantly influence work readiness (F = 60.141 > 2.74; p = 0.000 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.720) indicates that 72% of the variance in students’ work readiness is explained by these independent variables, while the remaining 28% is attributed to other factors beyond this study.These findings underscore the critical role of internship experiences, a supportive family environment, and personal motivation in developing students’ work readiness. The study also provides practical implications for schools, parents, and students to continuously enhance these factors to better prepare students for the demands of the workforce.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the influence of digital literacy skills and student discipline on the learning outcomes of Grade XI Digital Business students in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employed a quantitative method with an ex post facto approach. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and questionnaires administered to 30 respondents, then analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS 25. The results showed that both digital literacy skills and student discipline had a positive and significant effect, both partially and simultaneously, on student learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination (R²) value was 0.596, indicating that these two variables contributed 59.6% to the students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

The divergent stock price movements of large-cap banks during the 2022-2024 economic recovery indicate a market anomaly that demands a re-evaluation of fundamental indicators' relevance. This study aims to examine the effect of Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), and Price to Book Value (PBV) on banking stock prices listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2022-2024 period . The research method employs a quantitative causal approach with a purposive sampling technique, yielding 10 sample companies with a total of 30 observations. Data analysis was conducted using panel data regression with the Random Effect Model assisted by EViews 13 software. The results show that ROA and PBV have a positive and significant effect on stock prices, while ROE has a negative and significant influence. Simultaneously, the three variables explain 77.76% of stock price variations. These findings validate signaling theory but highlight that investors are now more selective in responding to high-risk equity profitability.

Abstract

Pertumbuhan ekonomi digital mendorong peningkatan partisipasi generasi muda dalam aktivitas investasi, namun belum sepenuhnya diimbangi oleh pemahaman keuangan yang memadai. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan, pengetahuan pasar modal, dan persepsi risiko terhadap minat investasi mahasiswa Program Studi Bisnis Digital Universitas Negeri Medan. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan penyebaran kuesioner berbasis daring kepada 44 mahasiswa aktif yang dipilih melalui teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Instrumen penelitian diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya, dengan hasil menunjukkan seluruh item dinyatakan valid dan reliabel (Cronbach’s Alpha 0,955). Analisis data dilakukan melalui statistik deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, dan regresi linear berganda menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan, pengetahuan pasar modal, dan persepsi risiko masing-masing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat investasi. Secara simultan, ketiga variabel tersebut juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat investasi mahasiswa, dengan nilai F hitung 23,863 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,001. Nilai koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,538 menunjukkan bahwa minat investasi dapat dijelaskan oleh ketiga variabel independen sebesar 53,8%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain di luar model penelitian. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya peningkatan literasi keuangan dan pendidikan investasi pada mahasiswa untuk mendorong partisipasi investasi yang lebih sehat dan produktif di era keuangan digital.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of sustainability and profitability in influencing firm value within Indonesia’s energy sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. Sustainability performance is measured using the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure score, while profitability is represented by the Return on Assets (ROA). Firm value is proxied by Tobin’s Q ratio. The research sample consists of 32 energy companies selected using a purposive sampling method. Data analysis is conducted using panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) and the Generalized Least Squares (GLS) approach with cross-section weighting to address potential heteroskedasticity issues. The results reveal that ESG disclosure has no significant effect on firm value, whereas profitability exerts a positive and significant influence. Simultaneously, ESG and profitability jointly have a significant impact on firm value. These findings indicate that investors in Indonesia’s energy sector remain more focused on profitability as the primary determinant of firm value, while sustainability performance has yet to become a key consideration in investment decisions. This study contributes to the ongoing discussion on the integration of ESG factors into firm valuation, particularly within emerging market contexts such as Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Canva-based learning media and learning motivation on the learning outcomes of Grade XI students at Budi Agung Vocational High School, Digital Marketing Program. This research employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 31 students. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, while data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that Canva-based learning media had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes with a coefficient of 0.606. Learning motivation also had a positive and significant effect on learning outcomes with a coefficient of 0.867. Simultaneously, Canva-based learning media and learning motivation had a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.805 indicates that 80.5% of the variation in learning outcomes can be explained by these two variables, while the remaining 19.5% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the use of Canva-based digital learning media and the enhancement of learning motivation are effective strategies for improving students’ learning outcomes in Digital Marketing subjects.

Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan guna menganalisis pengaruh manfaat, kemudahan, dan keamanan terhadap minat penggunaan QRIS pada pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) di Kelurahan Sei Putih Barat, Kota Medan. QRIS sebagai inovasi sistem pembayaran digital diharapkan dapat mempermudah transaksi dan mendorong inklusi keuangan. Temuan penelitian mengindikasikan, secara parsial, persepsi manfaat tak memengaruhi signifikan terhadap minat penggunaan QRIS. Temuan tersebut mengindikasikan, kesadaran akan manfaat belum cukup kuat untuk mendorong pelaku UMKM menggunakannya. Sebaliknya, kemudahan penggunaan dan keamanan terbukti memengaruhi positif dan signifikan secara parsial terhadap minat penggunaan. Ini mengindikasikan bahwa kemudahan operasional dan jaminan keamanan menjadi faktor penting dalam keputusan adopsi teknologi pembayaran. Secara simultan, manfaat, kemudahan, dan keamanan memberikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat penggunaan QRIS. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kombinasi faktor-faktor tersebut sangat berperan dalam mendorong adopsi QRIS oleh pelaku UMKM. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan sistem QRIS ke depan perlu mempertimbangkan aspek kemudahan dan keamanan secara lebih serius untuk meningkatkan minat pengguna.

Abstract

Maju Bersama adalah distributor produk kebutuhan sehari-hari di Kisaran, menghadapi penurunan kinerja karyawan yang ditandai dengan menurunnya kualitas dan kuantitas hasil kerja, keterlambatan penyelesaian tugas, serta meningkatnya komplain pelanggan. Kondisi ini dipengaruhi oleh rendahnya kompetensi kerja akibat kurangnya pelatihan dan pengembangan keterampilan, menurunnya disiplin kerja seperti absensi dan keterlambatan, serta stres kerja yang tinggi karena beban dan target yang berat tanpa dukungan manajemen memadai. Faktorfaktor tersebut berdampak pada turunnya produktivitas, loyalitas, dan daya saing perusahaan dalam menghadapi persaingan pasar. Pendekatan penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif karena memiliki alur yang sistematis dan terstruktur dengan baik. Jenis penelitian yang diterapkan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan sifat kausal atau eksplanatori, yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan sebab-akibat antara dua variabel yang berbeda. Dalam penelitian ini, perubahan pada salah satu variabel bebas akan memengaruhi atau menyebabkan perubahan pada variabel terikat. Populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup seluruh karyawan yang bekerja di CV. Maju Bersama Kisaran sebanyak 87 orang. Sehubungan dengan jumlah populasi yang berjumlah sebanyak 87 orang, maka teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan sampel jenuh dimana seluruh karyawan akan dijadikan sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja karyawan CV. Maju Bersama Kisaran, Disiplin Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja karyawan CV. Maju Bersama Kisaran, Stres Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja karyawan CV. Maju Bersama Kisaran, Kompetensi Kerja, Disiplin Kerja dan Stres Kerja berpengaruh terhadap Kinerja karyawan CV.
