Abstract

This research is based on trends of orientation in Arabic language learning in the Department of Arabic Language Education of IAIN Batusangkar. The researcher wanted to describe these problems and did integrated analysis to complete the teaching of Arabic language at university level in the Department of Arabic Language Education in this college The researcher implemented descriptive qualitative design, the cases (multi-sites) of which were studied through observation, interview, and related documents to obtain the data.This research found that the learning system of Arabic language at IAIN Batusangkar was oriented not only to integrative orientation as based learning, but also to integrative orientation but focus on learning grammar translation method.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the learning tools used in the educational environment. In this study, the researcher used a survey method with reference to research conducted by previous researchers. The object of research being carried out is all learning tools such as effective week analysis, lesson plans, annual programs, semester programs, syllabus, and KKM. Learning tools are very helpful for teachers in carrying out educational programs, especially in teaching and learning activities. Learning tools are something that is very important in an educational unit.

Abstract

Pengajaran Bahasa Arab di sekolah dan perguruan tinggi terdapat beberapa masalah diantaranya yaitu kurangnya siswa yang mampu berbicara menggunakan Bahasa Arab. Problematika ini menyebabkan hilangnya tujuan pembelajaran Bahasa Arab yang ingin dicapai. Untuk mencapai aspek tersebut diperlukan penerapan, pembiasaan, dan praktek baik di dalam maupun di luar kelas. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan lingkungan berbahasa untuk menunjang pembelajaran Bahasa Arab bagi penutur asing. Dalam tulisan ini penulis ingin membahas tentang bagaimana penerapan lingkungan berbahasa Arab di perguruan tinggi dengan mahasiswa sebagai penutur asing dalam berbahasa Arab. Penelitian ini mengunakan penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif suatu proses penelitian dan pemahaman yang berdasarkan pada metodologi yang menyelidiki suatu fenomena sosial dan masalah manusia. Untuk mewujudkan sebuah perguruan tinggi yang memiliki bi’ah lughawiyah yang baik, harus dibarengi dengan strategi yang menyentuh berbagai aspek yang ada di lingkungan kampus atau perguruan tinggi dengan memaksimalkan sarana prasarana yang ada untuk menghidupkan lingkungan berbahasa.

Abstract

A critical theory of communication (or economics, or politics) needs to involve a critique of society as a whole. Critical communication theory deals with a variety of relevant topics, including language, organizational structure, interpersonal relations, and the media. Communication itself according to a critical perspective is a result of the pressure (tension) between individual creativity in providing a framework for messages and social constraints. Development in the millennium era The Millennium Development Goals (MDG's) have one of the goals of which is towards the equal partnership of men and women by increasing justice and gender equality in every development sector. However, the problem of gender inequality is indicated by the low quality of life and the role of women, the high number of acts of violence against women as measured by the Gender-related Development Index (GDI) and the Gender Empowerment Index (GEM). The research method used is qualitative in a literature review approach

Abstract

يتناول هذا البحث بدراسة تدور حول أشكال الاتجاهات في تعليم اللغة العربية لدى قسم تعليم اللغة العربية في جامعة باتوسنكر الإسلامية الحكومية. و وصف الباحث هذه المشكلات و حللها تحليلا متكاملا لإنجاز تعليم اللغة العربية على المستوى الجامعي في قسم تعليم اللغة العربية هذه الجامعة. واستخدم هذا البحث المدخل الكيفي والمنهج الوصفي بدراسة الحالات المتعددة وللحصول على البيانات استخدم الباحث المقابلة والملاحظة و دراسة الوثائق لمتعلقة بهذا البحث. أما نتائج البحث فهي أنّ أشكال الاتجاهات لتعليم اللغة العربية في هذه الجامعة تتجه إلى الاتجاه التكاملى ومتجها إلى تعليم اللغة العربية اتصاليا. ويتجه أيضا إلى الاتجاه التكاملى ومتجها إلى القواعد والترجمة.This research is based on trends of orientation in Arabic language learning in the Department of Arabic Language Education of IAIN Batusangkar. Abstract

This study aims to produce valid, practical, and effective biology-based Arabic teaching materials for college students. The teaching materials are designed to support the Arabic language learning, especially for Biology Department, based on students’ needs and to increase their motivation in learning Arabic. This study used a development research approach with the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model which consisted of three stages, namely front-end analysis, prototype, and assessment stage. The product was Arabic teaching materials with several characteristics. First, adjusting the content of teaching materials with topics in the field of biology. Second, the teaching materials are presented in a text, images that are relevant to the text, vocabulary, comprehending questions, relevant Qur'anic arguments, and sentence structures in a chart. Third, the language and content are adapted to the heterogeneous abilities of students. Based on  data analysis, it was found that the biology-based Arabic teaching materials were valid,  could increase students’ interest in learning Arabic, and made learning process become more effective. Therefore, this teaching materials could be used as an alternative  instructional material for Arabic learning in colleges.

Abstract

Students who experience problems when carrying out learning cannot come to school for a certain reason, cannot receive learning material and cannot carry out learning on that day. That is because the difficulties of students in understanding learning make students less understanding of the lesson, due to a lack of innovation in learning at school. This study aims to increase enthusiasm for learning Arabic by using the use of the Quizizz application. The method used by researchers is a quantitative method, this quantitative research can show data containing numbers that can be obtained by using Google from as a means to create a questionnaire that researchers can use as subjects of their research. Improving the learning quality of students in utilizing the use of Quizizz in learning Arabic is one of the results to be proud of. The conclusion from this study is that the quizizz application can increase students' enthusiasm for learning and can test students' abilities. The limitations of this study are that the researcher only conducted research at one institution, the researcher hopes that there will be similar research, but in different learning besides learning Arabic so that it can increase the reader's understanding of the issues that will be examined later. This study also recommends future research to make it a challenge in utilizing the use of Quizizz in learning Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance the usage of Instagram among educators and students. Currently, in the field of education, this application is primarily used as a joining material or a place to take pictures. The use of social media in the form of Instagram can aid in children’s learning by increasing their activity and creativity. Additionally, the virtual world of Instagram makes it easy for learning material to be repeated anywhere and anytime. In this study, data was collected from Instagram users using a survey method that included interviews. The results showed that users complain of high data usage and difficulties in using the application as a learning platform. Therefore, it can be concluded that Instagram is primarily used by the general audience as a joining material and mood booster. This led the researchers to take the initiative to conduct further research on the potential use of Instagram in education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya efektivitas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, minimnya keterlibatan orang tua, serta ketimpangan sarana dan prasarana yang berpengaruh terhadap mutu pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah membuktikan pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan dukungan orang tua terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan di Kabupaten Sijunjung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis korelasional. Populasi berjumlah 216 kepala sekolah dasar dengan sampel 42 orang yang ditentukan melalui teknik cluster sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket yang mencakup variabel kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, dukungan orang tua, dan mutu pendidikan. Instrumen terdiri atas 84 butir pernyataan yang telah diuji validitas menggunakan korelasi Product Moment dan reliabilitas dengan Cronbach’s Alpha, menunjukkan tingkat reliabilitas sangat tinggi. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dan inferensial melalui regresi berganda dengan uji t, uji F, dan koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan dukungan orang tua berpengaruh positif dan signifikan, baik secara parsial maupun simultan, terhadap mutu pendidikan. Dengan demikian, mutu pendidikan dapat ditingkatkan melalui kepemimpinan yang efektif dan keterlibatan aktif orang tua.
