Abstract

Salah satu komoditi hortikultura yang semakin diminati adalah buah semangka. Buah semangka selain rasanya yang menyegarkan juga memiliki banyak khasiat untuk kesehatan. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat meningkatkan kemampuan dan motivasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan usaha pengolahan semangka yang mampu meningkatkan pendapatan petani semangka.. Dalam melakukan usahatani semangka di Kecamatan Rumbai Timur, persoalan yang sering terjadi terkait dengan harga komoditas buah-buahan yang sering mengalami fluktuasi. Hal ini merupakan salah satu resiko yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya kerugian petani. Berkaitan dengan itu diperlukan uluran tangan dari Perguruan Tinggi sesuai dengan Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yaitu pengabdian masyarakat dengan upaya untuk mendidik dan melatih masyarakat sesuai kebutuhan daerah agar menguasai ketrampilan praktis dalam pengolahan daging buah semangka menjadi es krim (velva). Velva merupakan frozen dessert yang mempunyai kadar lemak yang jauh lebih rendah dari es krim. Tingkat ketercapaian sasaran program dilihat dari kemampuan peserta dalam mempraktekkan pengolahan semangka menjadi selai semangka yang dapat dikonsumsi dengan citarasa yang disukai masyarakat.

Abstract

         This study was conducted to address several problems in students’ English learning, particularly in vocabulary acquisition. First, students faced difficulties in learning and retaining vocabulary. Second, they had not received adequate English instruction at the elementary school level. The purpose of this research was to examine the effectiveness of the Vocabulary Self-Collection Strategy (VSS) in improving students’ vocabulary mastery. A pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach was used. The population consisted of 8th-grade students at SMPN 1 Matur in the 2024/2025 academic year, with a total sample of 18 students selected through total sampling, as only one class was available. Data were collected using a vocabulary test comprising 20 items. The mean pretest score was 30.56, which increased significantly to 58.06 in the posttest. The hypothesis test showed that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted, with a significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which is lower than ? = 0.05. This indicates that the use of VSS had a statistically significant effect on students’ vocabulary mastery. The posttest scores demonstrated clear improvement, confirming the effectiveness of the strategy. Therefore, it can be concluded that VSS is an effective method for enhancing vocabulary learning among 8th-grade students at SMPN 1 Matur.

Abstract

Transformasi digital menjadi tantangan sekaligus peluang besar bagi pelaku UMKM dalammeningkatkan daya saing dan memperluas pasar. Namun, sebagian besar anggota UMKM DesaCipambuan, Kecamatan Babakan Madang, Kabupaten Bogor, masih menghadapi kendala dalammengakses dan mengimplementasikan strategi digital marketing. Kegiatan pengabdian kepadamasyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan mengenai strategi digitalmarketing yang dapat diterapkan oleh pelaku UMKM. Metode pelaksanaan terdiri dari observasi,Forum Group Discussion , pelatihan penggunaan platform digital (marketplace), Bimbingan teknisdan Pendampingan. Kegiatan ini melibatkan 20 pelaku UMKM yang bergerak di bidang usahakuliner. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman pesertaterhadap konsep digital marketing, keterampilan dalam menggunakan media sosial untuk promosiproduk, serta motivasi untuk memperluas pasar melalui platform online. Peserta juga mulaimengembangkan konten promosi dan menggunakan WhatsApp Business. Kegiatan pengabdianini membuktikan bahwa dengan pendekatan yang tepat dan pendampingan yang berkelanjutan,UMKM di desa Cipambuan dapat bertransformasi menuju model bisnis yang lebih modern,adaptif, dan berorientasi pada pertumbuhan berkelanjutan di era digital.Kata kunci : UMKM, Digital Marketing, Pemasaran Online, Desa Cipambuan

Abstract

This article aims to reveal the effectiveness of using Smartphones in learning English. The problem of the research was students werelessed motivated by the old learning media, students felt bored and lessed interested in learning through lecturedAnd lastly, studentswere sometimes embarrassed to asked directly to the teacher and prefer smartphones. Therefore, researcher was conducted a research at SMAN 3 Bukittinggi to found out whether the uses of smartphones was effective or not for learning English. This research was quantitative. The researcher used simple random sampling to determine the sample because it uses one way to pull out the lottery. The researcher was chose one of the five classes as the sample. The sample in this research were 36 students of class X E4. The data collection technique in this research was documentation in the form of student scores. The results showed that the use of smartphones was effective in learning English. The percentage of students was between 61 – 80% with the mean score calculated as 78,89with an effective assessment quality. This means that the data proves that the use of smartphones is effective in learning English in class X E4 SMAN 3 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Background: The most important phase in growth and development is infancy and toddlerhood because that is the most important time for parents to build a foundation for growth and development of their children. Nutrition is the most important part in the growth and development of toddlers which is closely related to health and intelligence. the purpose of this research is to know education about the provision of supplementary feeding to toddler mothers. Methods: Design of this research is quantitative with the Quasy Experimental One Group Pretest Posttest design. Giving education to mothers who have toddlers about how to provide supplementary food (PMT) for toddlers using booklets. Comparing the level of knowledge before and after being given education. Subjects were all toddler mothers in Perigi Village, Pulau Pinang District, Lahat District, totaling 75 people. The sampling technique was total sampling. Bivariate analysis was carried out by statistical tests using the Paired Samples T test. Results: showed that there was a significant difference, after counseling with booklet media on increasing knowledge about Supplemental Feeding (PMT) for mothers under five in Perigi village. The level of good knowledge before the intervention was 6 people (8%) and the level of good knowledge increased to 35 people (46.8%). The use of Booklet media is proven to increase the level of knowledge. Booklets are made attractively so that mothers can easily study at home independently. Conclusion: The benefits increasing the knowledge of toddler mothers about supplementary feeding (PMT) for toddlers. With increased knowledge about supplementary feeding (PMT), it is hoped that mothers can change their behavior in preparing food for toddlers.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to find out the level of students’ satisfaction with online learning during COVID 19 pandemic at ninth grade of MT.s TI Canduang. The design of this research was descriptive quantitative research by using survey method. The instrument of this research was questionnaire to find out students’ satisfaction with online learning during COVID 19 pandemic. In this research, the population was all of the ninth grade students of MT.s TI Canduang which consisted of 5 classes. The sample was 36 students taken by simple random sampling. The instrument was validated by three experts. The data were processed by identifying the responses, counting the percentages of each indicator and taking the conclusion. The results of the research showed that the mean score on reliability was 64,01% which was on the level satisfied. The mean score on the tangible was 62,34% which was on the level satisfied. The mean score on the responsiveness was 64,56% which was on the level satisfied. The mean score on the assurance was 65,69% which was on the level satisfied. The mean score on the empathy was 65,14% which was on the level satisfied. So, the average mean of students’ satisfaction in online learning during COVID 19 pandemic was 64,35% which was on the level satisfied based on the interpretation table 61%-80%. So, it can be concluded that the student at ninth grade of MT.s TI Canduang felt satisfied with the online learning during COVID 19 pandemic.

Abstract

Semangka sebagai salah satu produk hortikultura yang berkembang di Kota Pekanbaru. Kecamatan Rumbai Timur merupakan salah satu sentra produksi semangka yang ada di Kota Pekanbaru tepatnya di Kelurahan Sei Ambang. Sebagai sentra produksi semangka yang pada waktu panen sering mengalami banjir panen dan banyaknya buah semangka berukuran kecil, diperlukan informasi bagaimana pengolahan semangka sehingga petani tidak mengalami kerugian yang besar dengan memanfaatkan semangka yang tidak terjual. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan selama 3 (tiga) bulan mulai dari bulan Mei 2023 sampai dengan bulan Juli 2023 yang  mulai dari  persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pelaporan. Kesimpulan: (1) Teknologi pengolahan kulit semangka menjadi selai dan manisan merupakan proses pembuatan yang relatif mudah sehingga memotivasi kelompok tani semangka untuk mencoba mengembangkannya; (2) Pengolahan semangka ampera yang berukuran kecil dan biasanya tidak laku dijual dapat meningkatkan nilai tambah dan penghasilan petani semangka sekaligus mengurangi limbah dan (3) Kendala dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan adalah kesibukan anggota kelompok tani tetapi melalui kerjasama dengan Penyuluh Pertanian Lapangan hal ini dapat diatasi. Tingkat ketercapaian sasaran pelatihan dapat dilihat dari kemampuan peserta mempraktekkan pengolahan kulit semangka menjadi produk selai dan manisan yang dapat dikonsumsi dengan citarasa yang disukai masyarakat. Kata Kunci: semangka, albedo, manisan, selai, teknologi tepat guna

Abstract

ABSTRAK Bajing kelapa Callociurus notatus merupakan hewan mamalia dari famili Sciuridae. Mereka bersifat arboreal, aktif mencari makan pada siang hari atau disebut juga sebagai hewan diurnal. Bajing kelapa dapat ditemukan pada berbagai tipe habitat. Mereka cukup toleran dengan kehadiran manusia sehingga sering dijumpai pada habitat dekat pemukiman penduduk. Penelitian terkait bajing kelapa ini dilakukan di Desa Kepala Curup Kecamatan Binduriang Kabupaten Rejang Lebong Bengkulu dengan tujuan untuk menginventarisasi tumbuhan apa saja yang dimanfaatkan sebagai makanan oleh bajing kelapa. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan April hingga Juni 2020. Pengamatan dilakukan pada waktu aktivitas makan tinggi yaitu pada pukul 06.30-10.00 WIB dan dilanjutkan pada pukul 14.00-17.30 WIB menggunakan metode Ad libitum sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat 9 jenis tumbuhan yang dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber pakan oleh bajing kelapa yaitu Singkong Manihot utilisima (bunga) 38,8%, pepaya Carica papaya (buah) 15,7%, kelapa Cocos nucifera (buah dan bunga) 13,3%, durian Durio zibethinus (buah) 10,9%, pisang Musa paradisiaca (buah) 9,4%, kemiri Aleurites moluccanus (buah) 5,3%, kapuk Ceiba petandra (daun muda) 3,3%, kopi Coffea Arabica (buah) 1,8%, dan Arenga pinnata (buah) 1,5%.. Dari keseluruhan jenis tumbuhan tersebut, bagian yang dikonsumsi berupa buah sebanyak 56%, bunga 41,6%, dan bagian daun muda 2,4%. Kata Kunci: Bajing kelapa, Callociurus notatus, Mamalia, Sciuridae ABSTRACT The plantain squirrel Callociurus notatus belongs to mammals, family of Sciuridae. They are arboreal animals, and then because they are actively during the day, they are classified as diurnal animals. Plantain squirrel can live in wide range of habitats. Since they can coexist with humans, they are frequently found near human residential areas. The purpose of this study was to identify kind of plant species that consumed by plantain squirrels in Kepala Curup village, Binduriang Subdistrict, Rejang Lebong District, Bengkulu. The study was conducted from April to June 2020, using the ad libitum sampling method. The observations began at 06.30-10.00 a.m. and ended at noon at 02.00-05.30 p.m. According to the study, plantain squirrels consume nine different types of plant, including Cassava / Manihot utilisima (flowers) 38.8%, papaya / Carica papaya (fruits) 15.7%, coconut / Cocos nucifera (fruit and flowers) 13.3%, durian / Durio zibethinus (fruits) 10.9%, banana / Musa paradisiaca (fruits) 9.4%, candlenut / Aleurites moluccanus (fruits) 5.3%, kapok / Ceiba petandra (young leaves) 3.3%, coffee / Coffea Arabica (fruits) 1.8%, and aren palm/ Arenga pinnata (fruits) 1.5%. Abstract

Masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah sulitnya siswa memahami dan menentukan pecahan senilai. Kesulitan ini timbul dilatar belakangi oleh beberapa hal yaitu : siswa kurang aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, guru tidak menggunakan strategi dan alat peraga sehingga pelajaran masih monoton. Dengan masalah tersebut maka hasil belajar siswa banyak yang dibawah kriteri ketuntasan belajar. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menetukan pecahan senilai dengan menggunakan alat peraga “ papan pecahan ajaib”. Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif kuantitatif dengan jumlah subjek 7 orang siswa. Untuk Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dua siklus dengan empat tahap kegiatan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian ini berupa lembaran tes siswa tiap siklusnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan angka sebagai berikut : pra siklus rata-rata 63,5, siklus I adalah 74,5 dan siklus II dengan angka 86,8. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan alat peraga “papan pecahan ajaib” dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam menentukan pecahan senilai pada siswa kelas III SDN 07 Sitapung

Abstract

ABSTRACT Anemia is a pressing health problem worldwide, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. This condition occurs when the hemoglobin (Hb) level in the blood is below normal, disrupting the oxygen transport process to body tissues. The aim was to determine the effect of giving purple sweet potato onde-onde on increasing hemoglobin in students of SMA 1 Liwa, West Lampung 2025 who suffer from anemia. This study used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were 60 female adolescents suffering from anemia at SMA 1 Liwa, West Lampung 2025 who were divided into treatment and comparison groups. The treatment group was given purple sweet potato onde-onde twice a day, each time giving 60 grams for 10 consecutive days. The data collected included hemoglobin levels, macronutrient intake, and iron, and were analyzed using appropriate statistical tests. Results The average hemoglobin level before treatment was 10.85 g/dl and after treatment was 11.94 g/dl with an average decrease of 1.090 g/dl. The results of the paired t-test showed a p-value of 0.001 (<0.05) which indicates that there is an effect of giving purple sweet potato onde-onde filled with chicken liver with the addition of green bean flour on increasing hemoglobin levels in students of SMA 1 Liwa, West Lampung 2025 who suffer from anemia. There is an effect of giving purple sweet potato onde-onde on increasing hemoglobin in students of SMA 1 Liwa, West Lampung 2025 who suffer from anemia. ABSTRAK Anemia merupakan salah satu permasalahan kesehatan yang bersifat mendesak di seluruh dunia, khususnya di negara-negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Kondisi ini terjadi ketika kadar hemoglobin (Hb) dalam darah berada di bawah nilai normal, sehingga proses transportasi oksigen ke jaringan tubuh menjadi terganggu. Tujuan mengetahui pengaruh pemberian onde-onde ubi ungu terhadap peningkatan hemoglobin pada siswa SMA 1 Liwa Lampung Barat 2025 yang menderita anemia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain quasi experiment dengan pretest-posttest control group design. Subjek penelitian adalah 60 remaja putri yang menderita anemia di SMA SMA 1 Liwa Lampung Barat 2025 yang dibagi menjadi kelompok perlakuan dan pembanding. Kelompok perlakuan diberikan onde-onde ubi ungu 2 kali sehari, setiap kali pemberian sebanyak 60 gr diberikan selama 10 hari secara berturut-turut. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi hasil kadar hemoglobin, asupan zat gizi makro, dan fe, serta dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik yang sesuai. Hasil Rata-rata kadar hemoglobin sebelum perlakuan sebesar 10,85 g/dl dan sesudah perlakuan sebesar 11,94 g/dl dengan rata-rata penurunan sebesar 1,090 g/dl. Hasil uji paired t-test menunjukkan nilai p-value 0.001 (<0.05) yang menunjukkan ada pengaruh pemberian onde-onde onde-onde ubi ungu isi hati ayam dengam penambahan tepung kacang hijau terhadap peningkatan kadar hemoglobin pada siswa SMA 1 Liwa Lampung Barat 2025 yang menderita anemia. Ada pengaruh pemberian onde-onde ubi ungu terhadap peningkatan hemoglobin pada siswa SMA 1 Liwa Lampung Barat 2025 yang menderita anemia.
