<![CDATA[Melihat dari angka statistika kasus penyebaran Covid-19 di dunia, Indonesia dan secara khusus di Sulawesi Utara yang semakin bertambah setiap harinya, mengharuskan masyarakat oleh Pemerintah untuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan ketika berada di luar rumah. Namun, dalam penerapannya di Gereja Masehi Injili Minahasa (GMIM) Nazareth Buloh masih ada warga gereja yang memiliki tingkat kesadaran diri yang rendah dalam upaya mencegah Covid-19. Hal ini nampak dalam kesehariannya yang kurang mematuhi protokol kesehatan ketika berada di tempat-tempat umum, khususnya ketika beribadah. Salah satu faktor yang menyebabkannya adalah karena mereka kurang percaya dengan adanya Covid-19 dan bahayanya. Mengacu pada permasalahan tersebut maka yang menjadi tujuan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di GMIM Nazareth Buloh adalah untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai Covid-19 dan sikap yang baik dalam pencegahan Covid-19. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Cara mengedukasi masyarakat tentang Covid-19 adalah; Pertama, dengan melaksanakan webinar dengan tema: Covid-19 dan vaksinasi. Kedua, mengadakan diskusi secara luring dengan tema: menyikapi pandemi Covid-19 menurut Kristen. Ketiga, memberikan edukasi kreatif secara daring dalam bentuk poster dan teks mengenai pencegahan Covid-19 bagi warga gereja. Keempat, menyalurkan hand sanitizer dan masker bagi warga gereja. Melalui kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat berbasis KKNT ini, warga gereja teredukasi mengenai Covid-19 dan bahayanya, serta semakin meningkatnya tingkat kesadaran diri dari warga gereja untuk mematuhi protokol kesehatan ketika berada di tempat-tempat umum, khususnya ketika beribadah.]]>

<![CDATA[This article is a literary study with a biblical study which suggests the concept of an ecclesiastical office based on 1 Timothy 3: 1-7 on the quality of Christian leaders. To describe this, the author presents various information from primary and secondary sources related to the research topic which is then presented descriptively. From the research carried out, the concept of the quality of Christian leaders based on 1 Timothy 3: 1-7 is important to be understood and demonstrated by Christian leaders today in order to be able to address various challenges in the midst of his leadership. There are five qualities that must be possessed by a Christian leader, among others; spiritual quality, personality quality, cognitive quality, social quality and professional quality. One factor that makes Christian leaders ineffective, efficient and productive in their leadership practices is due to lack of understanding and living the quality of Christian leaders based on the Bible, specifically 1 Timothy 3: 1-7.]]>

<![CDATA[This article proposes several characters based on Galatians 5:22-23 that can be implemented into the themes of Christian Religious Education (PAK) or Budi Pekerti that have been determined by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) of the Republic of Indonesia at the junior high school (SMP) class VII. The type of research method used by the author is a descriptive method, namely by discussing the developmental psychology of junior high school students, the themes of PAK and Budi Pekerti according to the Ministry of Education and Culture, exploring character values based on the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. Then, in the end, the author will implement these character values into the PAK and Budi Pekerti curriculum that has been prepared by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud).]]>

<![CDATA[The writing of this scientific paper is motivated by the progress and development of technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 which has converted various forms of human activity into a digital and machine basis. This paper aims to produce a mission on a digital basis as a reflection of a transformative mission to proclaim the gift of salvation from God in the midst of human life in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 in order to expand the kingdom of God. To realize the research objectives, the author uses a descriptive qualitative research method. Through this research, it was found that the strategy, method, or mission approach can be transformed according to the changing times, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 to present a mission that is relevant without reducing the value of the truth of the gospel. Carrying out a mission in a broad sense means that we are giving ourselves to respond to God's grace to be witnesses, salt, and light in this world. This mission in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 is carried out to reach souls by taking advantage of the advantages of digital that are not limited by space and time so that news about the kingdom of God is increasingly expanded, this news will reach anyone anywhere. In addition, missions on a digital basis can be applied as a form of service to the congregation to maintain and maintain the faith of believers. So the various digital devices that exist today do not become idols for human life which only have a negative impact. However, various digital devices it is used to bring the glory of God into the midst of the world.]]>

<![CDATA[Environmental cleanliness is not only focused on activities to minimize waste. However, it also talks about how people have the awareness to implement a healthy lifestyle. The community should try to see the condition or condition of the environment/region of the Maen village community themselves. The Maen village community is the driving force in implementing and achieving this lifestyle, with creative ideas and innovations needed to encourage each other in the success of environmental hygiene. With this Research Community Service program, implementing environmental hygiene encourages the formation of solidarity in religious moderation, in the sense of realizing cooperation for all Maen village communities regardless of religious background. Therefore, it is essential to implement the ABCD (Asset Based Community-driven Development) approach to develop an asset or what strength exists in the community. Strive to change the community's mindset so that they have awareness in responding to existing assets or strengths. Thus, KKN Research and the village government, and even religious leaders are trying to keep the environment free from waste problems.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this article is to present and awaken Christian educators to be able to see and improve the implementation of education in Indonesia, which still has a number of problems, including low teacher quality, a school environment that is not child-friendly, and discrimination against persons with disabilities. Christian educators must have passion in their duties as educators. If students experience rejection, mental stress, and other violence, Christian educators are expected to heal them. This research is qualitative, looking for phenomenal information through online newspapers to obtain data by reducing certain data and sorting according to the research objectives so that conclusions can be drawn.]]>

<![CDATA[This article aims to describe the culture of the Minahasa (Tou) people about the sacredness of the Manguni bird. The Manguni bird is believed to be a sacred bird initially originating from Minahasa, North Sulawesi. The identity of the Manguni bird by Tou Minahasa is known as the Ot bird or Tototic bird. The Manguni bird for Tou Minahasa has a sacred symbol. Therefore, Tou Minahasa made this bird sacred. The community's attitude to describing the Manguni bird in contextual theology is found in the symbols of the Evangelical Christian Church in Minahasa (GMIM), Minahasa regional symbols/symbols, carvings, and typical Minahasa batik clothes. Tou Minahasa believes that the Manguni bird is an intermediary between humans and God Almighty (Opo Empung Wailan Wangko) and is the bearer of news. This research is influenced by the customs and culture of the Tou Minahasa, which functions to recognize the beliefs of the ancestors (ancestors) that contain noble values. This article uses qualitative methods through observation, in-depth interviews, and literature study. The results of this study concluded that the Manguni bird, both physically and in Minahasa culture, contains sacred values and becomes the identity of Tou Minahasa.]]>

<![CDATA[Pola asuh anak mendapat perhatian besar di era sekarang. Untuk itu, pelaksanaan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi bagi gereja dalam menunjang strategi maupun inovasi pola asuh orangtua Kristen terhadap anak di jemaat GMIM Senggighilang, Bailang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan melalui talkshow secara offline. Melalui pemaparan dari dua narasumber yaitu dari perspektif Psikologi dan Teologi diperolehpencerahan mengenai pola asuh yang kreatif dalam membesarkan anak di era sekarang. Sejatinya, pengasuhan yang memperhatikan tahap-tahap perkembangan anak dan menjadikan Alkitab sebagai dasar pengasuhan akan menghasilkan generasi yang berkualitas di masa kini dan mendatang. Penyuluhan yang dilakukan pada jemaat GMIM Senggighilang, Bailang diyakini dapat memperlengkapi orangtua dalam mengasuh anaknya dengan baik.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan model diakonia gereja yang relevan dengan situasi ketika mengalami bencana nonalam, khususnya pandemi Covid-19 dan sebagai wujud mitigasi bencana nonalam di masa kini dan mendatang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pemaparan secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa gereja dari tingkat nasional, wilayah dan lokal telah berperan aktif dalam upaya mitigasi risiko bencana nonalam, pandemi Covid-19. Fondasi Alkitab bagi model diakonia karitatif dan transformatif secara integratif adalah karakteristik pelayanan Tuhan Yesus yang dicatat dalam Lukas 4:18-19, Matius 14:13-21 dan Matius 25:31-36. Integrasi model diakonia gereja karitatif dan transformatif adalah solusi bagi warga gereja dan masyarakat yang mengalami penderitaan akibat bencana nonalam pandemi Covid-19.]]>

<![CDATA[Artikel ini mendeskripsikan mengenai solidaritas sosial dan agama pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Manado, dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif. Melalui penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa solidaritas sosial agama, masyarakat Kristen dan Islam di manado telah terlaksana dengan baik sehingga menjadi solusi bagi mereka yang sedang terdampak Covid-19. Agama telah berperan sebagai agen perubahan, agen pemersatu dan agen pembangkit solidaritas sosial di tengah masyarakat. Solidaritas sosial di Manado terbentuk atas agama yang kuat, diwariskan secara berkelanjutan sepanjang sejarah hadirnya gereja dan mesjid di Manado sampai sekarang. Penelitian ini memanfaatkan pemikiran Emile Durkheim tentang solidaritas sosial, khususnya tipe mekanik dan organik dan gambaran agama di Manado yang memiliki solidaritas sosial yang sehat. Hasil penelitian dalam artikel ini adalah bahwa solidaritas sosial yang dikemukakan oleh Emile Durkheim bermanfaat untuk memahami solidaritas sosial pada masa pandemi covid-19, agama berkaitan dengan sikap, motivasi dan tindakan masyarakat dalam mendemonstrasikan solidaritas sosial bagi sesamanya, solidaritas sosial adalah solusi bagi masyarakat dunia pada umumnya dan Indonesia pada khususnya ketika menghadapi bencana nonalam pandemi Covid-19.]]>
