Abstract

The increasing number of patient visits demands hospital readiness in providing facilities and supporting infrastructure for healthcare services, especially in planning drug needs and medical services. Inappropriate planning can lead to a mismatch between the number of patients and the availability of resources. Therefore, a patient visit prediction system is needed that can assist hospitals in decision-making. This study aims to predict patient visits at Regina Maris Hospital Medan to support service planning and improve patient satisfaction. The method used is data mining by applying the C5.0 algorithm as a classification method. Patient visit data is processed to produce a prediction model in the form of a decision tree and rules. The results show that the C5.0 algorithm is able to produce an accuracy rate of 71% in predicting patient visits. Thus, the system developed can be used as a recommendation tool for hospitals in preparing service needs, especially related to drug management and other supporting facilities.

Abstract

Employee performance appraisal in small and medium-sized organizations is often constrained by non-standardized indicators, fragmented records, and limited traceability of managerial decisions. This study designed and evaluated a web-based performance appraisal system for PT Naymas Mahkota Abadi using a weighted Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework. Requirements were elicited through observation and structured interviews with the Human Resources Department and the Director. Six cross-divisional indicators were defined—attendance, work quality, work targets, attitude and behavior, teamwork, and initiative and responsibility—with weights totaling 100%. System construction followed Rapid Application Development and implemented role-based access for Human Resources, the Director, and employees. Functional verification used 20 black-box scenarios covering valid, invalid, boundary, and authorization conditions; all scenarios produced the expected outputs. A pilot User Acceptance Test with five users yielded an overall score of 90.8%. The system therefore demonstrated functional correctness and high initial user acceptance in the case organization. However, the uniform KPI weights, single-rater appraisal structure, and small acceptance-test sample limit broader generalization and do not establish improvements in employee performance. The contribution is a transparent, traceable, and operationally simple KPI configuration for centralized appraisal settings.

Abstract

Widowed and divorced women may rely on micro, small, and medium enterprises to sustain household income, yet preliminary sector screening requires a consistent and transparent mechanism. This study developed a Decision Tree model to classify three rule-based MSME sector labels using demographic and economic characteristics. The dataset comprised 3,659 women aged 18–59 years in Kabanjahe District, Karo Regency, Indonesia. Age, occupation, marital-status category, monthly income, number of dependents, and business-ownership status were used as predictors. The target labels—culinary, fashion and handicrafts, and services and creative products—were constructed from predefined weighting rules. After preprocessing and a stratified 80:20 split, evaluation on 732 test records yielded 94.81% accuracy, 94.86% weighted precision, 94.81% weighted recall, and a 94.75% weighted F1-score. Low-income status had the highest impurity-based feature importance (43.11%), followed by the 18–25 age category (12.05%). The model consistently reproduced the constructed labels and produced interpretable decision rules. However, the results do not establish real-world sector suitability or business success because the labels were generated from the same predictor attributes rather than independent expert judgments or observed business outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini fokus pada game Call of Duty Mobile karena kompleksitas dan popularitasnya. Tujuan utama penelitian adalah menginvestigasi pola permainan dan preferensi pemain untuk mengembangkan fitur game yang lebih adaptif. Metode Elbow digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah cluster optimal dalam proses clustering, menghasilkan tiga cluster: Rusher, Camper, dan Support Players. Hasil K-Means Clustering menunjukkan karakteristik sebagai berikut: Cluster 1 (Rusher) dengan gaya bermain agresif, rata-rata MVP = 217, Kill = 4223, Menang = 241, Damage = 1011,45, Akurasi = 20,99%; Cluster 2 (Camper) dengan gaya bermain pasif, rata-rata Kill = 4660, Menang = 119, Damage = 1229,51, Akurasi = 27,25%; Cluster 3 (Support Players) dengan fokus pada dukungan tim, rata-rata MVP = 206, Kill = 3541, Menang = 287, Damage = 1265,51, Akurasi = 13,59%. Kesimpulan menunjukkan pemain dapat dikelompokkan menjadi tiga klaster utama dengan karakteristik yang berbeda, yaitu Rusher, Camper, dan Support, yang membantu dalam pengembangan game yang lebih inovatif dan sesuai kebutuhan pasar.
