Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in developing a character-based Arabic curriculum, examine how curriculum development enhances the implementation of character education, identify the character values integrated into the Arabic curriculum, and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in its development. This research employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. The study was conducted at MIM Gading 1 Klaten, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that Arabic language teachers are crucial in designing syllabi and lesson plans (Learning Implementation Plans) based on character education principles integrated into Arabic language instruction. Teachers function as implementers, adapters, developers, and researchers. Additionally, they serve as motivators, organizers, facilitators, and student role models. A character-based Arabic curriculum is developed by embedding character values into Arabic language subjects. The key values incorporated include religiosity, obedience, discipline, communication skills, self-confidence, curiosity, empathy, and responsibility.

Abstract

This article reveals the results of research on the curriculum model and its relevance in daily life, where the curriculum is a concept in every learning. The use of the curriculum at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Wahid Hasyim is currently still using 2 curricula in the learning process, namely: (1) Curriculum 2013 for grades 2, 3, 5 and 6; and (2) Independent Curriculum for grades 1 and 4. In this application, of course, it is the embodiment of the principle of relevance, the principle of flexibility, the principle of continuity, the principle of practicality and the principle of effectiveness. These curriculum principles are of course the basis of goals or guidelines in every process of teaching and learning activities at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Wahid Hasyim. So that learning at MI Wahid Hasyim can strive with the existing curriculum principles. This study uses case study research that focuses on qualitative. Qualitative research carried out is by observation and interviews to find out an existing event. In this study, the researcher conducted research directly at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Wahid Hashim school. Then the interviewer is a representative of the madrasah of the curriculum section as well as the homeroom teacher of class 5B. It is hoped that this research will be able to provide benefits to the general public about the curriculum model and its relevance in daily life.

Abstract

Not providing opportunities for students to participate actively in learning because the learning process is one-way and focuses on cognitive, resulting in students being less active during or in learning activities. Based on this problem, this research aims to find out whether the ICT-based simulation learning model can contribute to the activeness of class IV SD/MI students in learning. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews and sources relevant to this research. Then the data is reduced, presented, and conclusions are drawn. The results of this study show that ICT-based simulation models can contribute to active student learning. The results that can be seen in each indicator of student learning activity include: students actively participate in carrying out the tasks given by forming groups, actively asking questions, actively talking with other people or discussing, actively looking for information related to the material given to act out, and Students are actively involved in problem solving in the form of appropriate role distribution and are able to assess their abilities.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Android-based learning media in PJOK subjects, especially basic pencak silat movement material in elementary schools, using the ADDIE method. In addition, this study also examines the influence of the media on student motivation and learning outcomes. This study is a Research & Development (R&D) with ADDIE stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of the study were 46 students in grades V and VI of SDN 01 Wringinagung. Validation was carried out by material experts, media experts, and language experts. Data were collected through questionnaires, tests, and observations, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using validity, reliability, t-tests, and coefficients of determination. The results of the study showed that the developed learning media had a good level of feasibility. The assessment from material experts reached 75.16% (feasible), language experts 73.33% (feasible), and media experts 77.12% (feasible). The field trial obtained a score of 81.95% (very feasible). From the influence analysis, this media contributed 45.6% to the increase in learning motivation (R Square = 0.456). The t-test on learning outcomes showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.005 with a t-count of 11.891> t-table 2.014, which means there is a significant increase in learning outcomes.

Abstract

Using Youtube as a Learning Media in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Makassar. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of learning by using YouTube as a tutorial-based learning media. The research was conducted in class III at a school in Makassar with 25 students. The research used is a type of research using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using techniques, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that the effectiveness of YouTube media in learning the tutorial model is quite effective and well implemented, by using YouTube media as a teaching aid for conveying learning material, the use of YouTube media as a tutorial model taught by teachers runs effectively and motivates students to be more active in learning. learning process and achieve optimal learning outcomes. The impact of using YouTube media on students includes being able to increase knowledge, can increase student learning motivation, use of increasingly modern learning media. The research implications of using YouTube as an effective learning medium in increasing student activity in learning.

Abstract

Research that was conducted by researchers from 2013-2022 has mostly been about teaching materials combined with local wisdom in learning in elementary and junior high schools (SMP). However, there is still certain research on students’ worksheets related to local wisdom based on the content of social science learning subjects in elementary schools. This article provides an overview of the percentage of use of student worksheets, the use of research methods, and then results or positive impacts or contributions of the research on the motivation of an educator to create or modify teaching materials based on local wisdom. Meta-analysis was carried out by searching for articles from web journals through Google Scholar and obtaining 50 articles that were saved in the research data documents. After the analysis, it was obtained that 30 articles matched the criteria. The meta-analysis that was carried out produced an overview that the mostdominant percentage of students' worksheets was 27% in 2020 and the research method used was the R&D method with a percentage of 64%. And the results of the research were getting good responses from validators, teachers, and students with the average category being very good.

Abstract

The description of this article is based on the number of elementary school students who still do not have the ability to read and understand well. This article describes a study about the contents of the stimulation of thematic textbooks for SD./MI grade IV theme 3 to foster students' reading comprehension skills. The study described in this article used a descriptive qualitative approach. The type of research conducted was a document analysis research (documentary analysis) study. The documents analyzed were the thematic textbooks for grade IV students on theme 3 revised edition in 2017 which consisted of teacher books and student books. The main informants in the study were the teacher's book and the student's book. While the formal object of the study was the ability to read and understand. The results showed that the thematic textbooks for class IV theme 3 already contained stimuli in growing students' reading comprehension skills. The stimulation contained in this thematic textbook was in the form of commands that stimulate students to carry out activities to achieve reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the outbreak of COVID-19, which was very influential in education and other aspects of life. As a result, the government closed the schools and made a rule to implement online learning (in the network). Thus, we needed a solution or alternative to solve these problems. In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, it was recommended to use innovative online learning media, especially for elementary school students, to increase their motivation while studying at home. Not all online learning methods could be used in the ICT learning process, which was related to practical activities. YouTube-based learning media was used in the online learning process for ICT subjects. The purpose of this study was to reveal the procedure of utilizing YouTube for online learning in elementary schools. This study used a library research method, while the data sources used in the study were in the form of journals and books related to the research title. The data were collected through the documentation of several research sources, either from journals or books. Then, they were processed and analyzed to draw conclusions. The results of the research found that utilizing YouTube as a teaching material in ICT learning was very much needed by educators in today's situations.

Abstract

Pemilihan dan penggunaan metode klasikal atau ceramah dianggap oleh para guru sebagai metode paling sering digunakan untuk mengelola kelas dan bisa mengejar target materi yang harus diselesaikan sehingga kurangnya keaktifan dan kemampuan inovasi siswa masih rendah. Akan tetapi dengan penerapan kurikulum merdeka guru diminta menggunakan model project based learning didalam pembelajaran, dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah tersebut penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap “Implementasi Model Project Based Learning (Pjbl) Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Inovasi dan Keaktifan Siswa Kurikulum Merdeka” Penelitian dilakukan di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Saman Bantul. Dengan metode studi kasus, jenis penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara serta dari sumber-sumber yang relevan dengan penelitian ini. Kemudian data direduksi, disajikan, dan ditarik kesimpulan. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dengan menerapkan model project based learning siswa lebih aktif dan inovatif dalam pembelajaran, ada beberapa proyek yang telah dibuat dengan memanfaatkan sampah yang didaur ulang lalu dijadikan kerajinan perhiasan.
