Abstract

Surety Bond is an agreement between two parties, namely surety and principal. In this agreement, the surety submits a guarantee to the principal for the benefit of the obligee. If the principal fails or neglects to fulfil its obligations in accordance with the agreement with the obligee, the surety is responsible to the obligee to fulfil the principal's obligations. The purpose of this research is about the mechanism and application of surety bond principles in minimising the problems that will occur. The approach used in this research is qualitative analysis with descriptive method, which is intended to understand how the phenomenon experienced by the object of research. The results of this study explain that PT Bumiputeramuda General Insurance 1967 is one of the companies that has a surety bond product with a good implementation mechanism and applies several principles, namely the principle of togetherness, the principle of a three-party agreement, the principle of attachment, the principle of limitation of liability, the principle of legal defence, the principle of indemnity, the principle of additional / complementary contracts. This research also has implications for researchers and academics in the field of insurance. The findings of this research can be a reference material for further research on surety bond insurance products. In addition, this research can also be an input for academics to develop an educational curriculum on surety bond insurance products.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the impact of Return on Equity (ROE), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR) on the Return on Assets (ROA) in PT. Bank Muamalat Tbk. Quantitative approaches are used using secondary data. The data collection process involves the analysis of quarterly financial reports published by P.T. Bank Muamalat in the period 2014-2023. The researchers analyzed the loss report, the financial position report and the calculation report of the minimum capital provision obligation. Statistical analysis is carried out using the SPSS version 29 program, where double linear regression methods are applied to data processing. The results of statistical analysis based on Test F show that at a 95% confidence level (α = 0.05), the variables ROE, CAR, and FDR together or simultaneously have a significant influence on ROA. The research hypothesis states that the independent variable has a significant impact on Return on Assets (ROA) as a dependent variable. From the results of the T test, the ROE variable has a significant effect on ROA of PT Bank Muamalat Tbk, while the CAR and FDR variables have no effect on ROA of PT Bank Muamalat Tbk. The estimate model yielded R values of 0.993 and R square of 0.986. This suggests that there is a very significant correlation between the free and the bound variables, where 98.6% of the changes in the binding variables can be explained by the free variables in this model. As for the other 1.4% affected by aspects not covered in the model.

Abstract

The motivation behind this research is to find out how clean water dispersion is carried out by the Regional Drinking Water Organization (PDAM Tirtanadi) in Medan Cab Sei Agul City. To find out the supporting and inhibiting elements in the implementation of clean water dissemination organizations (PERUMDA Tirtanadi) Medan Cab sei agul. The distribution of clean water at PERUMDA Tirtanadi Cab Sei Agul in Medan City has made great efforts to improve administrative standards by supplying clean water to customers, as seen from the many exhibitions that have been held to check or repair the damage. took place in the city of Medan. Flow can be managed skillfully and comprehensively. Likewise, there are obstacles in offering the type of assistance and reactions from workers in dealing with problems in the field, which means building how much water is created with the aim that all PERUMDA Tirtanadi clients' needs can be metideally.

Abstract

Leadership is important in order to solve problems and provide morale to employees who work. Based on the problems that have been presented above, it is clear that the Office of the North Sumatra Education Quality Assessment Center has not met the right governance. Problems like this should be immediately addressed and maximized to be better in the future so that it can be in accordance with the expected performance results as they should. If this is overcome, it certainly creates a comfortable and conducive atmosphere so that employees can perform their job responsibilities properly and optimally. In the implementation of the work required attitude discipline time, can receive suggestions, respect colleagues, be polite and more diligent to mengetahuin new things. Knowledge and information during this field work practice hopefully can help me as a provision after graduation and plunge in the world of work. This section contains conclusions which are a summary of the results of performance analysis in the previous section.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using QRIS in the BSI Mobile Banking Application on MSME customer satisfaction in Medan, this research was conducted at MSMEs in Medan. The type of research used is quantitative research. Sampling using saturated sampling technique, because researchers only took a sample of MSME respondents totaling 42 respondents. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability. The data analysis technique used to answer the hypothesis is multiple regression, classical assumption test, t test, f test, coefficient of determination. The results of the research conducted show that the coefficient of determination (adjusted R square) is 0.564 or 56.4%. That the use of QRIS in the BSI Mobile Banking Application partially affects MSME Customer Satisfaction in Medan.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of promotion and product quality on consumers' purchasing decisions regarding Jofie Bakery Cake Shop products in Medan. Quantitative research methods were employed for this study. Data analysis involved descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The research encompassed respondent profiling, data variable descriptions, validity testing, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity tests, and hypothesis testing comprising multiple linear regression, R2 coefficient of determination, simultaneous F-test, and partial T-test. The findings revealed that while promotion does not significantly influence the purchasing decisions of Jofie Bakery Cake Shop products in Medan, product quality plays a significant role in shaping these decisions. This research suggests that Jofie Bakery Cake Shop should focus on enhancing its promotion strategies, expanding its reach, and considering collaborations with other entities to broaden its product visibility and consumer base.

Abstract

Green economy is an economic approach that focuses on sustainable and environmentally friendly economic growth. The presence of Nukny Funland Water Park Ecotourism in Percut Sei Tuan sub-district, Deli Serdang district, North Sumatra, which is a green economy-based tourist spot in its management while having an impact on the community's economy. The purpose of this study was to determine how the role and potential of the Green Economy on the welfare and empowerment of local communities, increase their income, and preserve the environment through this Nukny Funland ecotourism. This research uses a qualitative method, where the data used in this study comes from observations and interviews with workers, visitors and the community. The results showed that ecotourism has managed with the concept of green economy quite well and has a positive impact on income and provides new economic opportunities for the community.

Abstract

One type of local tax is parking tax, which is intended to support effective parking management and increase local revenue. Local revenues, taxes, proceeds from the management of special property, and other legal revenues are part of local revenue. To support regional autonomy, governments pay local taxes.A descriptive qualitative methodology was employed in this investigation. Interviews and documentation were used to gather data. To conduct this analysis, previous reviews were considered. The results showed that although parking tax increased Medan city's revenue, it had no impact on local own-source revenue.

Abstract

Many cases of investors who experience losses in investing by buying company shares have led to thoughts about what information is actually needed by investors in reducing the possibility of mistakes. The purpose of this research is to find and create the latest model of information that should be conveyed to reduce the occurrence of multi-interpretation of information. The population used is 540 companies listed on the Stock Exchange with the criteria of having active financial and web reports at the time of the study, then the target population becomes 302 with the sampling method using saturated samples then the entire target population is sampled as many as 302 companies. The analysis used is path analysis using the smart PLS tool, The researcher managed to make a finding that at alpha five percent, profitability directly had a positive and significant effect on general corporate information, and stock prices, but not on foward-looking information. General corporate information directly affects the stock price while foward-looking information does not significantly influence the stock price. Indirectly, profitability has a positive and significant effect on stock prices through general corporate information, but not through foward-looking information.

Abstract

Asuransi syariah merupakan sistem perlindungan finansial yang berlandaskan prinsip-prinsip syariah Islam, yang menjamin keadilan, transparansi, dan bebas dari unsur riba dan gharar (ketidakpastian). Menganalisis strategi peningkatan kualitas agen dan pangsa pasar asuransi syariah di Indonesia merupakan tujuan studi ini. Dengan menggunakan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), penelitian ini mengidentifikasi, mengkaji, mengevaluasi, dan menafsirkan berbagai literatur yang relevan dari database elektronik seperti Google Scholar, Emerald Insight, dan ResearchGate. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa agen asuransi syariah sebagai peran kunci dalam menjangkau pasar lebih luas dan membangun kepercayaan masyarakat melalui pelayanan yang berkualitas dan edukasi yang efektif. Ditemukan bahwa strategi pemasaran, motivasi kerja, dan sertifikasi memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kualitas pelayanan agen. Dengan penerapan strategi-strategi ini, perusahaan asuransi syariah diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kinerja agen mereka, memperluas jaringan distribusi, dan menguatkan pangsa pasar di industri asuransi syariah Indonesia yang berkembang pesat.
