Abstract

Using the inquiry learning model to increase student activity in the learning process. The inquiry method encourages students to question, investigate, and make their own discoveries, thereby increasing their understanding and involvement in learning. The use of the inquiry model significantly increases student activity, promotes critical thinking, and deepens their understanding of the subject matter. The pedagogical implications of this research support the use of the inquiry model as an effective strategy to facilitate more student-centered and discovery-oriented learning. The aim of using the inquiry learning model is to increase student activity in the learning process through student-centered learning, facilitating exploration, inquiry and problem solving. By encouraging students to question, investigate, and make their own discoveries, the inquiry model helps build deeper understanding, increases student engagement, and promotes the development of critical thinking skills and research skills that are important in learning. The inquiry learning model promotes student activity through an approach that places students as the main learning agents. In inquiry, students are invited to ask questions, investigate and discover their own knowledge through exploration and reflex. The purpose of this writing is to discuss strategies for implementing inquiry learning. The inquiry learning strategy states that the teacher as a learning source is not the only one, there are many more learning sources that can support successful learning. The teacher is only a facilitator, a guide who always directs students in learning. Students are designed as discoverers or seekers of knowledge, a teacher's job is to manage students so that they gain knowledge and become meaningful.

Abstract

Educating children with special needs is a challenge in the world of education, because not all schools are ready to accommodate children with special needs in their educational environment. Children with special needs generally grow and develop with a number of differences compared to children in general. In special education in Indonesia, children with special needs are classified into blind, deaf, physically disabled, mentally retarded and hearing impaired. Every child with special needs also requires special services that are appropriate to their abilities and characteristics. It is important to carry out activities that recognize not only the abilities and needs of children with special needs, but also their characteristics. The aim of this research is to identify the characteristics of ABK. The methods used were observation, interviews and documentation, after which the data was analyzed qualitatively and descriptively. Social and communication development is the most important disorder, as in normal people, impaired verbal intelligence or language, and difficulty in continually renewing behavior, desires, pleasures and habits. Based on interviews, observations and literature, children with special needs are proven to have characteristics in the areas of communication, social interaction, sensory abilities, playing styles, behavior and emotions.

Abstract

  This study aims to analyze the influence of the family environment on students' learning motivation. The family environment, which includes aspects such as emotional support, parental attention, learning supervision, and supporting facilities at home, has an important role in shaping students' learning motivation. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to students as respondents. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant relationship between a positive family environment, with sufficient support and attention from parents, can increase students' enthusiasm for learning and encourage them to achieve better academic results. Conversely, lack of attention and support from the family can reduce students' learning motivation. This study concludes that the role of the family environment is very important in building students' learning motivation, and is expected to be input for parents and schools to pay attention to the condition of the learning environment at home in order to support students' academic development.

Abstract

The research carried out aims to review the use of artificial intelligence in independent learning of Indonesian language skills. The research was carried out using a library study approach which included a series of activities related to the use of library data collection methods, reading and retrieval and processing of research materials. In this research, the data sources are books, journals or internet-based websites that contain the topic or discussion being researched. The data sources in this research include 30 references based on topics raised related to the use of artificial intelligence in independent learning of Indonesian language skills. Language skills include 4 abilities, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing. Writing skills are a reference in language skills which must be mastered by students because with writing activities students can express various imaginations or thoughts in writing. Duet AI can help students write essays, reports and other assignments better through the ‘help me write’ feature in Google Docs. First, Duet AI can help students improve their grammar and writing style. Their writing can be identified and corrected for errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling. Duet AI can also provide feedback on the clarity of their writing. Second, Duet AI can help students develop their own unique writing style. Duet AI will provide feedback on the authenticity and creativity of their writing. It can also help them identify and avoid clichés and overused phrases

Abstract

Public speaking is the skill of speaking in public to convey a message effectively, while personality development aims to improve internal and external aspects of oneself to be able to adapt and achieve one's best potential. Through community service activities carried out by the Bangka Regency Tourism Office, participants from tourism awareness groups, business actors, and young tourism activists were given training that included improving effective communication skills and personality development. The methods used included discussions, role-plays, and non-verbal communication exercises, which aimed to overcome obstacles such as nervousness and fear when speaking in public and increase participants' confidence in introducing regional tourism potential. The training results showed that participants were able to improve their competence, motivation, and confidence in promoting tourism products in Bangka Belitung and are expected to become a model for tourism human resource training in other regions. The community service activities organized by the Bangka Regency Tourism Office were successful and received a positive response from the participants. The material on effective communication, public speaking, and personality development presented at Gedung Juang, Bangka Regency, improved participants' competence and motivation in promoting the region's tourism potential. Through various methods such as discussions, role-plays, and non-verbal language exercises, participants became more confident and able to navigate complex communication situations in the tourism industry. It is hoped that similar activities can continue to be implemented sustainably to support the improvement of tourism human resources and local economic growth in Bangka Belitung.

Abstract

Meningkatnya jumlah pengungsi spiritual di Indonesia nampaknya menjadi permasalahan bagi Pemerintah untuk menerima atau menolak pengungsi tersebut. Di satu sisi, Indonesia terhambat oleh potensi konflik dengan warga lokal jika diterima karena masalah etika, persaingan tanah, persaingan pekerjaan, dan potensi dominasi karena jumlah pengungsi yang terus meningkat. Namun di sisi lain, pemerintah terjebak pada rasa iba menolong sesama manusia, prinsip dasar HAM, dan persoalan agama, apalagi mayoritas pengungsi Rohingya beragama Islam. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis untung dan ruginya keberadaan pengungsi spiritual di Indonesia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif mengenai kelebihan dan kekurangan kehadiran pengungsi Rohingny di Indonesia dalam perspektif Pancalsila, Hak Asasi Manusia dan Islam. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang peneliti peroleh dari artikel ilmiah, buku, berita yang kredibel dan lain sebagainya. Data-data tersebut dianalisis secara deskriptif dan kelebihan serta kekurangan keberadaan pengungsi spiritual diukur melalui analisis SWOT. Jika keberadaannya lebih banyak mengandung kekuatan dan peluang maka disimpulkan sebagai keuntungan dan sebaliknya jika lebih banyak mengandung ancaman dan tantangan maka disimpulkan sebagai kerugian.

Abstract

Desa Bintet, terletak di wilayah Kecamatan Belinyu, Kabupaten Bangka, merupakan daerah dengan mayoritas penduduk yang berprofesi sebagai petani. Anak-anak di desa ini turut terlibat dalam kegiatan pertanian. Meskipun terdapat Sekolah Dasar di desa tersebut, yaitu SDN 19 Bintet Belinyu, yang dilengkapi dengan perpustakaan sekolah, namun sayangnya perpustakaan tersebut belum dikelola secara optimal. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, seperti kurangnya guru dan petugas perpustakaan. Oleh karena itu, sebuah program pengabdian masyarakat diperlukan untuk menyelenggarakan penyuluhan di bidang pendidikan, dengan fokus meningkatkan pengelolaan perpustakaan dan mendukung gerakan literasi di sekolah pedesaan. Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengubah perilaku para guru di SDN 19 Bintet, agar memahami bahwa pengelolaan perpustakaan yang baik dapat memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat baca peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam program ini melibatkan teknik ceramah dan seminar. Dengan melibatkan masyarakat dalam upaya ini, diharapkan dapat menciptakan perubahan positif dalam pengelolaan perpustakaan sekolah, sehingga memberikan dampak yang berkelanjutan terhadap literasi di kalangan anak-anak pedesaan.

Abstract

The development of tourism on former mining land through sustainable development communication strategies is the subject of this study. The study focuses on Kampung Reklamasi Selingsing in East Belitung, where the local BUMDes works to attract both local and foreign tourists by utilizing the potential of the reclaimed land, such as the panorama. The study uses qualitative methods, including observation and interviews with BUMDes and PT Timah Tbk. The results show that BUMDes Selinsing has made various efforts to develop Kampung Reklamasi Selingsing as a tourist destination, including working with PT Timah to manage and develop the area with the concept of agro-edu tourism. Additionally, BUMDes Selinsing has improved the quality of facilities and services in the tourist area and is involved in the management of the Kampung Reklamasi Selingsing tourist area. The sustainable development communication strategy in the development of tourism in Kampung Selinsing involves collaboration with private parties, government agencies, and non-governmental organizations to obtain greater support and investment. The management of the area is sustainable, and the income from the tourism sector is used for sustainable development and the development of a more attractive area.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini membahas tentang Peran Humas Dalam Meningkatkan Hubungan Kerjasama Dengan Media Massa di Kantor Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah Kabupaten Bangka. Kerjasama humas dan media massa adalah suatu kegiatan yang sangat penting untuk dilakukan dalam mempublikasikan informasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif, teknik pengumpulan data, dengan cara observasi non partisipan, wawancara terstruktur dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa peran humas DPRD kabupaten Bangka dengan media massa sebagai bentuk publikasi kegiatan dalam meningkatkan citra positif para anggota dewan. Peran humas dalam meningkatkan hubungan kerjasama dengan media massa yang tertuang dalam Memorandum Of Understanding dalam bentuk surat perjanjian kerjasama mengenai pasal-pasal hukum untuk dipatuhi. Salah satu bentuk kerjasamanya berupa memberikan hasil keputusan DPRD dalam membuat rancangan peraturan daerah sesuai fungsi DPRD melalui media massa agar informasi yang disampaikan tepat sasaran kepada publik.Kata Kunci: Humas, Hubungan Kerjasama, Media Massa. AbstractThis research discusses the role of Public Relations in Improving Cooperation Relations with the Mass Media at the Regional House of Representatives Office of the Bangka Regency. Cooperation between public relations and mass media is an activity that is very important to do in publishing information. The research method used is qualitative research, data collection techniques, by means of non-participant observation, structured interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the role of public relations for the DPRD of Bangka Regency with the mass media as a form of publication of activities in increasing the positive image of the members of the council. The role of public relations in improving cooperative relations with the mass media as stated in the Memorandum of Understanding in the form of a cooperation agreement regarding legal articles to be complied with. One form of cooperation is to provide the results of DPRD decisions in drafting regional regulations according to DPRD functions through mass media so that the information conveyed is right on target to the public. Abstract

The paper aims to investigate high-quality education in the digital era: the use of applications as learning media in relevant research. Judging from its type, this research is literary in nature, including the type of library research. Library research is research in which data collectionsis carried out by collecting data from various literature. The literature studied is not limited to bookssbut can also include documentation materials, magazines, journalssand newspapers. Advances in communication technology havesinfluenced many people's views on things in everyday life, including views on parenting. Parents used to allow their children to play traditional games with other children outside. However, parents are currently relying more on digital technology as a gaming medium for their children. Education in the digital age is education that must integrate information and communication technology into all subjects. Currently, information and communication technology, including smartphone technology, is developing very rapidly. Smartphones come with different operatingssystems, and one of the most popular operating systems currently is Android. Android is an operating system based on open source. The Androidsoperating system, with its diverse application development, can create representative learning media. With Android-based technology, learning is no longer monotonous with text, but audio or visual elements or even animations can be created to help students understand the material.
