Abstract

This study aims to explain information about the patterns of family decision making for parents who have children with special needs in the city of Makassar. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that parents are key figures who play a very important role in providing role models, guidance, and affection in the process of child development. The role of parents in the acceptance of children with special needs is very important. Parents are the best guides and helpers for the independence of children with special needs. The mother as one of the parents of children with special needs has an important role in understanding the needs and development of their children. This is related to the mother's acceptance of children with disabilities, which is shown in the attitude to face children. If parents lack understanding of children with special needs, it can result in a lack of attention and consider the child to be unlucky in the family. Parents are the determinants of a child's life before and after birth. Therefore, it is the responsibility of parents to fully accept the existence of their children and treat them equally in all aspects of life with children in general without any discriminatory attitude and to provide the widest possible opportunity for education.

Abstract

The problem in this study examines the literacy movement of sociology students who are members of a social root community that does not use campus intra-organizations (HMJ) as a forum for literacy movements. This study aims to find out why the literacy movement of sociology students who are members of a social root community uses the form of community as a forum for their literacy movement. This research is a qualitative descriptive research and uses an intrinsic case study approach. The results of this study indicate that the choice of community as a container movement is a strategy in the social root community literacy movement. The conclusion from this study is that apart from being a literacy movement strategy used by pioneering social root communities, it is also an alternative platform compared to using non-strategic intra-organizations as a movement platform.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Untuk menjelaskan eksistensi tradisi appanaik ri matang bagi Masyarakat Desa Batang, 2) Untuk mengetahui relasi makna simbolik tradisi appanaik ri matang dalam kehidupan masyarakat Desa Batang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Batang, Kecamatan Bontotirp, Kabupaten Bulukumba. Teknik yang digunakan dalam menentukan informan adalah teknik purposive sampling. Jenis data menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan cara reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Eksistensi tradisi appanaik ri matang dapat dilihat dari berbagai aspek, seperti peranannya dalam menjaga nilai-nilai budaya, menciptakan hubungan dengan kekuatan spritual dan mempererat ikatan kekeluargaan/kekerabatan dalam masyarakat desa Batang. Dalam pelaksanaan tradisi appanaik ri matang, masyarakat desa Batang secara simbolis mengungkapkan penghormatan kepada leluhur atau kekuatan spiritual yang mereka yakini ada  di dalam matang. Melalui praktik ini, individu merasa menjadi bagian dari sesuatu yang lebih besar dari dirinya, yaitu komunitas dan tradisi yang diwariskan. Relasi makna simbolik tradisi appanaik ri matang dengan kehidupan masyarakat desa Batang sangat erat, karena tradisi ini tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai ritual, tetapi tradisi ini  juga mencerminkan, memperkuat, dan membentuk nilai-nilai sosial, budaya, dan spiritual yang dijunjung tinggi oleh komunitas.. Makna simbol-simbol dalam sesajen menjadi penghubung antara dunia material dan spiritual, manusia dan lingkungan, serta individu dan komunitas, sehingga tradisi ini tetap relevan dan berpengaruh dalam kehidupan masyarakat desa Batang.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan model integrasi karakter peduli sosial pada mata pelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial di sekolah menegah pertama SMPN 24 kota Banjarmasin dengan  menggunakan integratif moral knowing, moral feeling, moral Behavior. Kenyataan yang terlihat adalah siswa memiliki pehaman moral rendah sehingga penting untuk pengintregrasian nilai karakter. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan penentuan informan mengunakan Teknik purposive sampling dengan 21 informan yangbterdiri dari guru, siswa, dan orang tua siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara yang mendalam, observasi dan dokumentasi, kemudian data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, data display dan verifikasi data. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan moral Lickona. Hasil penelitian model integrasi pendidikan karakter di sekolah  dengan 3 tingkatan moral yaitu moral knowing, moral feeling, behavior yang diintegrasikan dengan nilain karakter  dalam  pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial di sekolah SMPN 24 kota Banjarmasin

Abstract

Penelitian Studi Kasus : SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar. “Peran Lembaga Pendidikan Dalam Mencegah Pernikahan Dini”. Pernikahan dini merupakan Pernikahan yang dilakukan sebelum usia 16 tahun bagi perempuan dan 19 tahun bagi laki-laki, batasan usia ini mengacu pada ketentuan formal batas minimum usia menikah Pernikahan Dini yang berlaku di Indonesia. Lembaga pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam upaya pencegahan terjadinya pernikahan usia dini. SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Makassar sebagai lokasi study kasus terhadap pencegahan pernikahan anak usia dini di Kota Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif, teknik dalam menentukan informan menggunakan purposive dan snowboal. Adapun kriteria informan yaitu elemen sekolah dimulai dari Wakil Kepala Sekolah, tenaga pendidik/wali kelas XI dan XII serta peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data kualitatif tipe dekskriptif melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengabsahan data melalui member check.. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan terjadi pernikahan dini karena kurangnya sosialisasi, Selanjutnya kultur budaya lebih kuat pengaruhnya dibanding lembaga Pendidikan. Hal tersebut diakibatkan karena faktor Internal karena kurangnya sosialisasi, kemudian Faktor Eksternal meliputi dorongan orang tua, kebutuhan ekonomi, kebutuhan pendidikan, dan budaya yang mengikat.

Abstract

This study outlines the concept of Progressive Islam—a term for Muhammadiyah’s religious perspective—both historically and based on the ideological foundations of the Muhammadiyah Organization. After a conceptual explanation, this study analyzes the struggles of Progressive Islam in South Sulawesi through historical aspects and direct observations as a Muhammadiyah activist. The study reveals that the early generations of Muhammadiyah in South Sulawesi implemented the ethos of Progressive Islam through the development of educational and da’wah enterprises. However, the emergence of cadres who established different organizations, such as Hidayatullah and Wahdah Islamiyah, highlights ideological challenges and weaknesses in consistent cadre formation. Furthermore, conservatism among Muhammadiyah members in South Sulawesi poses obstacles to actualizing Progressive Islamic thought, despite efforts to address this through Muhammadiyah’s Tarjih Ulama Education program. This study offers practical benefits by providing recommendations to strengthen cadre formation and organizational consolidation to ensure Progressive Islam remains relevant in addressing contemporary challenges. These dynamics serve as an important foundation for sustaining the progressiveness of Progressive Islam in South Sulawesi.

Abstract

This systematic literature review synthesizes empirical findings published between 2018 and 2025 on the influence of school principals’ managerial competencies planning, organizing, directing, and controlling on educational performance in Indonesia. Using qualitative content analysis, evidence was gathered from Scopus-indexed journals, Sinta-accredited national journals, and reputable conference proceedings. The review consistently indicates that managerial competence significantly enhances teacher performance, learning quality, and student achievement, with studies reporting improvements of 25–40% through effective academic supervision, strategic planning, and resource management. Key mechanisms identified in the literature include structured instructional supervision, collaborative human-resource development, and data-driven decision-making processes that strengthen school climate and organizational efficiency. Although the review does not draw on primary data from any specific region, the synthesized evidence offers conceptual insights for disadvantaged or remote areas such as Mamuju Regency, where infrastructural limitations, resource constraints, and post-disaster vulnerabilities have been widely documented in national reports. The literature suggests that adaptive managerial strategies emphasizing supervision, planning, and climate-building may help address such contextual challenges. The review concludes that strengthening principal preparation, certification, and ongoing managerial training is essential for improving educational outcomes and reducing regional disparities. Future empirical research is recommended to examine how these competencies operate within the unique contextual realities of regions like Mamuju, thereby validating and refining the implications derived from this synthesis.

Abstract

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to examine global research developments on teacher wellbeing in early childhood education (ECE) from 2020 to 2025. The growing recognition that teachers’ psychological, emotional, and professional wellbeing affects children’s learning outcomes underscores the need to systematically map this field. Drawing on data from Scopus, SciVal, and VOSviewer, a total of 151 documents were analyzed to evaluate research productivity, citation impact, collaboration patterns, and thematic evolution. The findings indicate a significant growth in publication output, accompanied by strong international collaboration and a Field-Weighted Citation Impact (FWCI) of 1.23, reflecting above-average global influence. Science mapping identified five major thematic clusters: (1) psychological dimensions of wellbeing, including burnout and mental health; (2) job demands–resources and institutional policy; (3) resilience and intervention studies in the post–COVID-19 context; (4) positive psychology and self-efficacy enhancement; and (5) links between teacher wellbeing and child development outcomes. Overall, the results highlight a paradigm shift from stress- and burnout-centered research toward strength-based, growth-oriented wellbeing models. Despite the dominance of high-income countries such as the United States, China, and Hong Kong, substantial research gaps persist in developing contexts. These findings underscore the need for context-sensitive, self-care–based, and digital wellbeing interventions to support sustainable ECE teacher wellbeing globally.

Abstract

Pembelajaran abad ke-21 menuntut pendekatan yang tidak hanya berfokus pada penguasaan pengetahuan, tetapi juga pada pengembangan kemampuan berpikir reflektif, regulasi diri, dan transformasi cara pandang peserta didik. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara konseptual integrasi teori belajar konstruktivistik, metakognisi, dan pembelajaran transformatif sebagai kerangka psikologi pendidikan yang relevan dalam konteks pendidikan kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kajian pustaka sistematis terhadap literatur primer yang relevan dalam bidang psikologi pendidikan dan pembelajaran abad ke-21. Data dikumpulkan melalui penelusuran artikel jurnal bereputasi dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis tematik untuk mengidentifikasi keterkaitan konseptual antar teori. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa konstruktivisme menyediakan landasan epistemologis bagi pembelajaran aktif, metakognisi berperan sebagai mekanisme regulatif yang memperkuat kemandirian belajar, sementara pembelajaran transformatif memungkinkan terjadinya perubahan kerangka berpikir yang lebih reflektif dan adaptif. Integrasi ketiga perspektif tersebut membentuk kerangka pembelajaran multidimensional yang mendukung pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, khususnya keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, komunikasi, dan kolaborasi. Artikel ini berkontribusi pada penguatan diskursus psikologi pendidikan dengan menegaskan pentingnya pendekatan integratif dalam merancang pembelajaran yang bermakna dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Inclusive education positions learner diversity as the main strength in the learning process, encompassing students with special needs as well as differences in learning styles, cognitive abilities, socio-emotional characteristics, and cultural backgrounds. In the practice of inclusive education, a commonly encountered problem is the suboptimal process of identifying learner diversity as the basis for instructional design; therefore, this study analyzes the utilization of the identification process in designing effective and equitable inclusive learning. This study employs a literature review method with a descriptive qualitative approach through stages of searching, selection, and content analysis of national and international scholarly articles published over the past ten years. The findings indicate that the success of inclusive education is influenced by educators’ ability to understand individual learner characteristics through continuous identification processes. The challenges faced include limitations of identification instruments, diverse teacher competencies, inadequate policy support, and limited parental involvement. To address these challenges, the implementation of instructional strategies such as differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and collaborative approaches is considered effective in accommodating learner diversity. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that the identification of learner diversity is a key element in realizing humanistic, equitable, and transformative education. ABSTRAK Pendidikan inklusif menempatkan keberagaman peserta didik sebagai kekuatan utama dalam proses pembelajaran yang mencakup peserta didik berkebutuhan khusus serta perbedaan gaya belajar, kemampuan kognitif, karakter sosial-emosional, dan latar belakang budaya. Dalam praktik pendidikan inklusif, permasalahan yang sering dijumpai adalah belum optimalnya proses identifikasi keberagaman peserta didik sebagai dasar perancangan pembelajaran; oleh karena itu, kajian ini menganalisis pemanfaatan proses identifikasi tersebut dalam merancang pembelajaran inklusif yang efektif dan berkeadilan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dengan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui tahapan penelusuran, seleksi, dan analisis isi terhadap artikel ilmiah nasional dan internasional dalam sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa keberhasilan pendidikan inklusif dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan pendidik dalam memahami karakteristik individual peserta didik melalui proses identifikasi yang berkelanjutan. Tantangan yang dihadapi meliputi keterbatasan instrumen identifikasi, kompetensi guru yang beragam, dukungan kebijakan yang belum optimal, serta keterlibatan orang tua yang terbatas. Untuk merespons tantangan tersebut, penerapan strategi pembelajaran seperti differentiated instruction, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), dan pendekatan kolaboratif dinilai efektif dalam mengakomodasi keberagaman peserta didik. Simpulan kajian ini menegaskan bahwa identifikasi keberagaman peserta didik merupakan elemen kunci dalam mewujudkan pendidikan yang humanis, adil, dan transformatif.
