Abstract

The rapid advancement of information and technology has prompted higher education institutions, particularly State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKINs), to make precise calculations and analyze potential risks when implementing curricula. The Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) policy, introduced by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, aims to prepare students for the challenges of the workforce through quality education. This study, therefore, aims to analyze the implementation of the MBKM curriculum in Islamic Communication Studies programs at State Islamic Religious Higher Education Institutions (PTKIN), which generally focus on three schemes: Pertukaran Mahasiswa Merdeka (Independent Student Exchange), internships, and research. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study subjects include PTKIN leaders, program coordinators, and students from four selected PTKINs. Despite facing challenges such as differing understandings of the MBKM concept, mismatches between Graduate Learning Outcomes (CPL) and industry needs, and limitations in infrastructure, funding, and human resources, the findings indicate that the MBKM curriculum has been implemented effectively. These findings are expected to provide valuable insights for the future improvement and optimization of the MBKM program. ***** Perkembangan teknologi dan informasi yang pesat mendorong perguruan tinggi, khususnya Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Negeri (PTKIN), untuk melakukan perhitungan yang akurat sekaligus menganalisis risiko terburuk yang akan dihadapi dalam implementasi kurikulum. Kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) oleh Kementerian Pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset dan Teknologi menjadi solusi untuk menyiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja melalui pembelajaran yang berkualitas. Sehingga, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kurikulum MBKM pada Program Studi Komunikasi Islam di PTKIN yang rata-rata fokus pada tiga skema, yaitu; Pertukaran  Mahasiswa Merdeka, Magang, dan Riset. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian melibatkan pimpinan PTKIN, pengelola program studi, dan mahasiswa dari empat PTKIN terpilih. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa implementasi kurikulum MBKM berjalan dengan baik, meskipun menghadapi kendala seperti perbedaan pemahaman konsep MBKM, ketidaksesuaian Capaian Pembelajaran Lulusan (CPL) dengan kebutuhan industri, serta keterbatasan sarana prasarana, anggaran, dan sumber daya manusia. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi masukan dalam memperbaiki dan mengoptimalkan program MBKM di masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe patterns of interpersonal communication between parents and their daughters when defining kafa’ah standards for prospective spouses within pesantren environments. This focus emerged from a research gap in previous studies, which emphasised the normative dimension of kafa’ah rather than the communicative dynamics within santri families. A qualitative approach was adopted, involving field research and the collection of primary data through in-depth interviews and observations with four families of female students (santri) from Darussalam Islamic Boarding School in Kediri. Secondary data were obtained from relevant books, journals and other documented sources. Both types of data were analysed using in-depth analytical techniques, revealing that open and persuasive communication is the dominant pattern through which parents and children negotiate and align their views on kafa’ah standards. Mutual understanding is further reinforced through two-way interactions grounded in pesantren moral values and shared spiritual experiences. These findings contribute to the discourse on interpersonal communication in pesantren settings by demonstrating that religiosity functions as both a value system and a communicative framework that mediates family decision-making processes.

Abstract

AbstractThis article goes from the disturbing anxiety of social media users to cyber culture such as phenomenon of trash information. Some social media users feel necessary to reveal true identity while others insult identity as something that the public will never know. While in communication there are no messages in the media that contain no meaning and no messages distributed without purpose. Even though the purpose of communication is different, the purpose of information even if it is mere text. In the case of social media, these messages distort more than just meaning. With observation methods and discourse analysis knife, the research found that cyber culture in social media is more than a form of information trash because of overlapping of information is particularly unclear of user identity. The study tried to see interesting phenomena that occur especially with regard to virtual/online and real-world/offline communication patterns. Social media at some point is a place where they can be identified or just a stockpile of inconclusive information. By combining cyber cultural concept and information sircuit, this research also found of identity ambivalence in social media that end by trash of information.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi pada arus globalisasi memang sudah mengalami fase percepatan sehingga dapat menciptakan tatanan baru yang disebut dengan era tranformasi digital. Internet membawa dampak besar bagi dunia digital, sehingga dibutuhkannya critical thinking dalam memahami literasi digital. Hal tersebut menjadikan literasi digital penting sekali untuk ditingkatkan. Critical thinking merupaka keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk bertahan hidup pada era digital agar terhindar dari berita hoax. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami critical thinking pada konten youTube siberkreasi yang bertajuk literasi digital. Ketika semua pengguna internet paham tentang dunia digital dan dapat berpikir secara kritis, maka tidak akan tertipu oleh berita hoax. Metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu kualitatif melalui pendekatan analisis semiotika Roland Barthes dengan memperhatikan makna konotasi, denotasi, dan mitos. Penelitian ini menganalisis kampanye critical thinking dalam etika literasi digital di media sosial pada konten youtube siberkreasi yang dikemas melalui podcast, musik, video animasi, dakwah, dan keynote speech. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam 5 konten tersebut terdapat pesan critical thinking dalam literasi digital yaitu analisis, interpretasi, dan pengaturan diri. Analisis, berkaitan dengan terus menelusuri serta mengidentifikasi kebenaran informasi agar terhindar dari berita hoax. Interpretasi, kemampuan untuk memahami arti dari pengalaman. Pengaturan diri, pentingnya tabayyun serta beretika baik. Dari analisis tersebut, peneliti mengaitkan dengan latar belakang yang terjadi saat ini yaitu pentingnya memahami etika literasi digital dan critical thinking. Untuk itu agar dapat memanfaatkan penggunaan teknologi digital yang baik, maka critical thinking harus ditingkatkan dengan cakap literasi digital.
