Abstract

Health education important role in raising public awareness of health, particularly in adopting a healthy lifestyle. With the advancement of digital technology, online health portals such as alodokter.com have become key sources of health information. To ensure effective message delivery, the sentences in expository texts must be clear, concise, and easily understood, preventing any misinterpretation by the public as the readers. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of sentences in expository text on a healthy lifestyle published on alodokter.com from January-June 2024 as part of public health education efforts. The effectiveness of sentences is assessed based on several aspects, including structure and grammar, word choice, clarity of information and readability for the general public. This research employes a qualitative descriptive approach and a syntactic approach as its theoretical framework. Data collection techniques involve the observe and note method. Data analysis is conducted using the distributional method (agih technique) to examine syntactic structure and sentence coherence, as well as the referential method (padan technique) to evaluate meaning clarity and reads comprehension. The research process is carried out in three steps: (1) data collection, (2) data analysis, and (3) presentation of research findings. The research object consists of expository text on online health portals discussing healthy lifestyles. Several articles are selected and analyzed in depth. The data presentation technique in this research uses formal and informal methods. The analysis result reveal the ineffectiveness of several sentences in the expository texts, particularly in terms of their inconsistency with the characteristics of effective sentences, such as unity, coherence, emphasis, and conciseness. The result of this study contribute to a deeper comprehension of the topic being explored. Furthermore, the study is beneficial for the public as a form of health education and awareness.

Abstract

The growth of electrical energy continues to increase from time to time in line with increasing economic activities and community welfare. The increasing growth of electrical energy will deplete existing non-renewable energy sources if their utilization is not effective and efficient. In the utilization of electrical energy it is not known how much energy has been used so that it tends to waste electrical energy. It is necessary to measure the use of electrical energy which aims to manage electrical energy which is very important so that the process of saving and efficiency can be obtained easily. This device is designed to replace the manual electrical energy measurement system because the data obtained cannot be done all the time and the results take too long to come out. This device consists of 4 (four) parts, namely sensors, microcontroller, display and network. The sensor used is the PZEM-004T sensor which is used to measure AC voltage and current, the microcontroller is used NodeMCU which will process the sensor results, the display uses a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD). ) type to display real time output data. The last part is the network as a place for permanent storage and further data processing.

Abstract

Tuturan adalah suatu wujud komunikasi dari masing-masing individu yang mempunyai maksud dan tujuan tertentu yang ingin diinformasikan seorang penutur kepada mitra tutur. Jika penutur dan mitra tutur saling memahami maksud dan tujuan yang dituturkan masing-masing, maka komunikasi yang baik akan tercipta. Walaupun penutur dalam menginformasikan amanat atau maksud dalam wujud yang berbeda. Artikel ini menjelaskan mengenai tindak tutur perlokusi yang ada pada dialog film “Story of Kale: When Someone’s in Love”. Sumber data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah tuturan antartokoh dalam film “Story of Kale: When Someone’s in Love”. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik simak dan catat. Kemudian data yang didapat akan diidentifikasi dan dianalisis datanya. Penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa dalam film “Story of Kale: When Someone’s in Love” terdapat bentuk-bentuk tindak tutur perlokusi yang mencakup, membuat jengkel, melegakan, menarik perhatian, membuat petutur melakukan sesuatu, membuat petutur berpikir tentang sesuatu, membuat petutur tahu bahwa, mengalihkan perhatian, membujuk, mendorong, menakut-nakuti, dan menipu. Hasil dari penelitian ini juga akan membantu memberikan pemahaman kepada pembaca mengenai bentuk-bentuk tuturan perlokusi dalam dialog film “Story of Kale: When Someone’s in Love”.

Abstract

Pembelajaran berbasis digital untuk membantu proses interaksi komunikasi antara guru dengan siswa. Untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dan hasil belajar yang meningkat. Guru harus mampu mengembangkan ide-ide dalam membuat media pembelajaran. Dalam menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis digital seperti menggunakan canva sebagai contohnya maka guru bisa menggabungkan dokumen, gambar, video, tautan, dan fitur-fitur lainnya untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran. Namun, tidak semua guru di SMK Al-Falah dapat membuat dan menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Bahkan cenderung proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan bersifat konvensional dan kurang menarik siswa. Melalui program pengabdian masyarakat ini, kami berupaya untuk memperkenalkan inovasi pembelajaran digital melalui penggunaan Canva sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis TIK di SMK Al-Falah. Solusi yang kami tawarkan adalah pelatihan bagi guru-guru di SMK Al-Falah tentang media pembelajaran digital yaitu pemanfaatan penggunaan Canva sebagai media pembelajaran berbasis TIK.

Abstract

The rapid transition to the Society 5.0 era demands educational institutions to adapt to digital-based information openness. SMP Negeri 1 Bojonggede, despite having a solid academic reputation and numerous student achievements, faces significant challenges in digital visibility. Currently, information dissemination relies on conventional methods such as physical notice boards and instant messaging groups, which are limited in reach and ineffective for public branding. This community service aims to bridge this gap by developing a professional school profile website as a digital showcase of achievements and a centralized information medium. The development method used is the Waterfall software engineering model, which includes requirements analysis, system design, coding implementation, and testing. The result of this activity is the availability of a responsive website accessible at smpn1bojonggede.sch.id, equipped with a comprehensive Content Management System (CMS). Furthermore, technical training for school staff has been conducted to ensure the sustainability of content management. This digitalization initiative successfully transforms the school's promotional flow, allowing for wider, real-time, and structured public access to information.

Abstract

Poverty and limited access to productive economic resources remain major challenges faced by underprivileged families, making empowerment-oriented approaches essential to achieve economic self-reliance. This study aims to examine the process and impact of economic empowerment of an underprivileged family based on Muhammadiyah values, focusing on the family of Mr. Julfahmi in Ciracas District, East Jakarta. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the provision of business capital assistance accompanied by continuous mentoring improves the family’s capacity to manage productive micro-enterprises, increases household income, and encourages a shift in mindset from dependency on consumptive aid toward economic independence. Furthermore, social capital support, active family participation, and the integration of Islamic values and Islamic philanthropy play a significant role in sustaining the family’s business activities. The study concludes that economic empowerment of underprivileged families based on Muhammadiyah values is an effective strategy for enhancing economic independence and family welfare.
