Abstract

This article aims to examine and formulate the concept of maritime vocational education from a thematic-philosophical Qur’anic perspective. It responds to the lack of comprehensive approaches that integrate Qur’anic values with the needs of maritime vocational education. Using a qualitative method through library research, this study applies thematic exegesis and a normative-philosophical approach. The findings reveal that the Qur’an contains numerous references to the sea and its management, reflecting educational principles such as ecological responsibility, productive work, and fair, sustainable resource use. The study also formulates core philosophical values underlying maritime vocational education, including tawhid, justice, sustainability, integration of knowledge and action, and religious humanism. This conceptualization is proposed as a relevant educational model to develop maritime generations who are both technically competent and morally transformative. The findings offer a strategic alternative for developing vocational education rooted in divine revelation while being responsive to contemporary socio-ecological challenges.

Abstract

Kekerasan dalam rumah tangga (KDRT), yaitu segala bentuk perilaku yang menyebabkan penderitaan fisik, psikologis, seksual, atau ekonomi bagi anggota keluarga, merupakan fenomena sosial yang serius di Indonesia. Dampak KDRT sangat merugikan, baik bagi individu maupun masyarakat luas, menciptakan ketidakstabilan dalam keluarga dan menurunkan kualitas hidup. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi konsep self-management, atau pengelolaan diri, yang dilakukan oleh pasangan suami istri sebagai upaya preventif dalam mencegah KDRT, dengan meninjau dari perspektif psikologi dan nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan data diperoleh melalui studi literatur dari berbagai sumber relevan, termasuk buku, artikel, dan jurnal ilmiah. Ruang lingkup penelitian ini mencakup pasangan suami istri di berbagai latar belakang sosial-ekonomi dan lokasi, baik urban maupun rural, untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa self-management yang efektif meliputi beberapa aspek penting, yaitu pengendalian diri, motivasi, komunikasi yang sehat, serta keyakinan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga secara bertanggung jawab. Selain itu, pemantauan kondisi mental dan pengembangan diri yang positif menjadi kunci utama dalam menjaga keharmonisan hubungan. Penelitian ini juga menggarisbawahi bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip Al-Qur’an dalam interaksi pasangan dapat memperkuat ikatan pernikahan dan menurunkan risiko terjadinya KDRT. Dengan demikian, self-management bukan hanya strategi individual, tetapi juga pendekatan kolektif untuk membangun keluarga yang harmonis, damai, dan penuh pengertian.

Abstract

Racial conflict is a clash between different racial groups due to clashing interests and cultures. Racial conflict generally occurs because one race feels superior and more perfect than the others. This paper is based on the theory of intercultural misunderstanding and public relations theory. The theory of intercultural misunderstanding states that conflict occurs due to incompatibility in communication methods between different cultures. Public relations theory states that conflict occurs due to mistrust between different groups. This study reveals several preventive solutions for racial conflict from a Qur'anic perspective: eliminating primordial attitudes, eliminating racist attitudes, and eliminating stereotypical attitudes.

Abstract

This article aimed to analyze Shi'a da'wah in Karang Gayam and Blu'uran-Sampang-Madura Villages using the theory of religious moderation from the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. This research was important because what is produced from Shi'a da'wah is one of the black records of religious life in Indonesia. The researcher used a qualitative method that is a case study, data was obtained through interviews, then analyzed thematically such as John W. Creswell's steps, while the validity of the data used triangulation of sources. The findings of this study revealed that there are several principles that were neglected in Shi'a da'wah in Karang Gayam and Blu'uran-Sampang Villages, Madura, namely ignoring the principles of justice and balance, the principles of amar makruf and nahi mungkar, the principle of comfort in religion and the principle of graduality. When this principle was disregarded, it is not surprising that da'wah efforts led to conflicts between Sunni communities that are rooted first and Shia groups as immigrant teachings. This research can be a reference material for da'wah practitioners in a multicultural society.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Pelaksanaan Sosialisasi dan Welcoming Awardee LPDP PKUMI-PTIQ Angkatan 7 sebagai Medium Penguatan Komunitas Akademik dan Karakter Humanistik. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi partisipatif, diskusi reflektif, sosialisasi mendalam, dan dokumentasi kontekstual, pengabdian ini memfokuskan diri pada pemahaman pengalaman eksistensial para awardee dalam proses perjumpaan intelektual. Hasil pengkajian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Welcoming Awardee bukan hanya agenda formal, tetapi menjadi ruang humanisasi di mana empati, solidaritas, dan kesadaran reflektif tumbuh secara organik. Proses sosialisasi dalam konteks ini bertransformasi menjadi pengalaman dialogis yang menumbuhkan sense of belonging, trust, dan identitas akademik kolektif. Secara teoretis, temuan ini memperkuat pandangan humanistik tentang pendidikan sebagai proses pembebasan dan pemanusiaan, sebagaimana dikemukakan oleh Freire, Rogers, dan Noddings. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar program orientasi LPDP tidak hanya berorientasi administratif, tetapi juga berlandaskan pada dialog, refleksi nilai, dan pembentukan spiritualitas akademik. Dengan demikian, ruang perjumpaan intelektual menjadi fondasi bagi terbentuknya komunitas ilmiah yang berkarakter, berempati, dan bertanggung jawab sosial.

Abstract

This article discusses the study of makkiyah and madaniyah verses in the Qur'an through the perspective of orientalist and occidentalist thought. The makqiyah verse, which was revealed in Mecca before the hijrah, emphasizes more on the theme of faith and morality, while the madaniyah verse, which was revealed after the hijrah in Medina, focuses more on social and legal aspects. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, this study collected data from a variety of literature, including books, journal articles, and research reports. Data analysis is carried out qualitatively consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the analysis show that the difference between the two lies not only in the themes raised, but also in the much more complex way of understanding the text, reflecting the social and political context in which the verses are revealed. This article concludes that a deeper understanding of the Qur'an needs to be established through dialogue between these two perspectives in order to achieve a more comprehensive and relevant understanding in the present day.

Abstract

The conclusion of this article is that inter-religious education in the Quran is an education that encourages all students to have an intellectual, moral, achievement and noble personality with humanity and togetherness orientation to develop the principles of democracy, equality and justice in social life and compassion for the universe on the basis of faith in God. Students are required to know the background of each religion and not see it from just one perspective, but also through the perspectives of others to avoid excessive fanaticism in religion that can be a trigger for conflict so far. The article also found two things needed in the construction of Inter-Religious Education, namely; firs! to carry out dialogue by placing each religion in an equal position. Second, develop an attitude of tolerance by providiug opportunities for each religion to urderstand each other. The method that authors use in this study is a qualitative method that is supported by research libraries. While the method of interpretation that authors use is the method of interpretation maudu'i, the authors chose this method because this method can be used as an excavator of lnter-Religious Education according to the Qur'an more comprehensively.

Abstract

This article examines the possibility of synthesizing substantively two different components, namely the Qur'an and the local wisdom of Nusantara, Indonesia. In this case, Kato nan Ampek is a philosophy of speech acts in Minangkabau. There are four Kato: Mandaki, Manurun, Malereng, and Mandata. Each of the Kato nan Ampek is used according to the speech partner. This research was conducted qualitatively with a synthesis approach. It was found that Kato Mandaki, in substance and use, is by the principles of Qawlan Karîma; Kato Manurun, in substance, can be synthesized with Qawlan Sadîda, and the principle of the practice of Kato Manurun should be based on the principle of Qawlan Sadîda; and with Kato Malereng, in practice, it should also be based on the principle of Qawlan Balîgha; as well as Kato Manurun, its use should also be based on the principle of Qawlan Layyina.

Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kata "syakhrun" yang disebutkan dalam AlQur'an, serta untuk menghitung jumlah ayat dan huruf, dan seberapa sering kata "syakhrun" muncul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan penelitian perpustakaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat lima bentuk kata "syakhrun" dalam AlQur'an. Fi'l al-Madhi muncul sebanyak empat kali, dengan kata "sakhiru" diulang tiga kali dan satu kali menggunakan kata "sakhira". Fi'l al-Mudhari' muncul delapan kali, terdiri dari tiga kali "yaskharun", satu kali "taskharu", satu kali "naskharu", satu kali "taskharun", satu kali "yaskhar", dan satu kali "yastasskhirun". Masdar muncul dua kali dengan kata "Sikhriyyan" yang diulang dua kali, sementara Ism al-Fa'il hanya muncul satu kali yaitu kata "al-Syakhirȋ n". Sebagian besar bentuk kata ini digunakan oleh banyak orang. Semua bentuk "syakhru" ditemukan dalam sebelas ayat di sepuluh surat, yang meliputi QS. al-Baqarah/2: 212 (yaskharun) , QS. al-An`am/6: 10 (sakhiru), QS. al -Taubah/9: 79 (yaskharun, sakhira), QS. Hud/11: 38 (sakhiru, taskharu, naskharu, taskharun), QS. al -'Anbiya'/21: 41 (sakhiru), QS. al-Mu'minun/23: 110 (sikhriyyan), QS. al -Shaffat/37: 12 (yaskharun), QS. al -Shaffat/37: 14 (yastasskhirun), QS. Hud/38: 63 (sikhriyyan), QS. al -Zumar/39: 56 (al-Syakhirȋ n), dan QS. al -Hujurat/49: 11 (yaskhar).

Abstract

This study discusses the epistemological dynamics between textuality and contextuality in the interpretation of the Qur'an, a classic but still relevant theme in the field of tafsir studies. The paradigm difference between textual and contextual exegetes illustrates two major currents of Islamic thought: one emphasizes the integrity of the text as absolute divine revelation, while the other seeks to present the message of the Qur'an in an ever-changing social context. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method, supported by integrative hermeneutic analysis that combines Fazlur Rahman's double movement theory, al-Syatibi's maqaṣid al-shari‘ah, and Abdullah Saeed's ideas on contextualizing the Qur'an. The results of the study show that the textual-contextual dichotomy is actually illusory: the two must be combined so that interpretation remains faithful to divine meaning while being responsive to human reality. This integration gives rise to a transformative interpretation paradigm that is relevant to the challenges of religion, social ethics, and national life today. Thus, the interpretation of the Qur'an does not stop at theological understanding, but develops into a social praxis that fosters justice, moderation, and universal humanity.
