Abstract

McDonald's has had a huge impact on pop culture and fast food around the world. This company continues to adapt to changes in food trends and consumer demands and is committed to providing consistent and quality fast food. Implementing good management integration and good organizational structure must be prioritized by Mc Donald's. Several aspects illustrate Mc Donald's efforts in pursuing this, namely, Training and Education, Waste and Energy Management, Human Resources and Welfare, Commitment to protecting the Environment. The social responsibility aspect is very important for the McDonald's company. This research is aimed at analyzing the work and social culture that occurs at McDonald's, the method used in this research is descriptive data analysis, the conclusion that can be drawn is that McDonald's can ensure that every employee feels valued and has the same opportunity to contribute. This can also create a dynamic and innovative culture.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 merupakan salah satu pencetus untuk masyarakat mulai sadar pentingnya konsumsi makanan sehat. Masyarakat Indonesia perlahan makin menyadari pentingnya menjaga kesehatan dimulai dari makanan yang masuk ke dalam tubuh. Hal ini berdampak pada jumlah usaha yang semakin bertumbuh dengan menjual produk makanan sehat. Penelitian ini menyelidiki dampak dari kesadaran merek, persepsi kualitas, citra merek, loyalitas merek, dan pemasaran media sosial terhadap niat beli produk makanan sehat, dengan fokus pada peran mediasi brand equity. Data dari 407 responden yang pernah mengkonsumsi produk dari SaladBar by HadiKitchen, Yellow Fit Kitchen, Grain Eat, Paulunchbox, dan Sassy Lettuce dianalisis. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa brand awareness dan perceived quality memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan dengan brand equity. Menariknya, brand image dan social media marketing tidak menunjukkan pengaruh langsung atau tidak langsung yang signifikan dengan brand equity atau purchase intention. Peran loyalitas merek tidak dijelaskan lebih lanjut karena adanya kekhawatiran terkait kriteria validitas. Sebagai kesimpulan, kesadaran merek dan persepsi kualitas muncul sebagai faktor kunci yang memengaruhi niat beli konsumen. Penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya meningkatkan pengetahuan merek dan mempromosikan persepsi positif terkait kualitas produk untuk secara tidak langsung meningkatkan niat beli melalui pengaruh mediasi brand equity.

Abstract

Kehadiran teknologi dizaman sekarang ini dapat membantu kegiatan sehari-hari manusia termasuk dalam memberikan informasi. Pada zaman ini juga promosi produk dari suatu UMKM dapat dilakukan secara maksimal dengan cara memanfaatkan teknologi yang tersedia seperti sosial media. Kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan objek UMKM Bintan Snack Millennium dan metode penelitian kualitatifberupa wawancara. Dalam kegiatan ini didapatkan hasil bahwa Bintan Snack Millennium ini hanya menggunakan promosi mulut ke mulut dan tidak secara aktif menggunakan sosial media untuk mempromosikan produknya, sehingga dirancanglah penerapan pengembangan strategi pemasaran digital pada UMKM ini dengan merancang konten Instagram dan Facebook, membentuk satu akun Whatsapp Business dan memperbarui profil dari Google Business, serta membantu membuat platform Linktree

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini penulis ingin mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh variabel dukungan selebriti, desain kemasan, media sosial terhadap keputusan pembelian di Kepuluan Riau. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode survey membagikan kuesioner kepada 410 orang (responden). Setelah kuesioner terkumpul data yang dapat dipakai sebanyak 410, hasil outlier sebanyak 2 sehingga data yang dapat dipakai untuk mengolah data sebanyak 408 responden. Kemudian data yang akan dijadikan sampel adalah mahasiwa/i universitas swasta di kepulauan Riau. Penulis menggunakan teknik Non probability sampling dimana pemilihan responden tidak mempunyai unsur yang sama sehingga terpilih menjadi responden sedangkan metode yang dipakai adalah purposive sampling. Hasil responden yang dikumpulkan akan dilakukan pengujian data yaitu memakai perangkat lunak SPSS. Hasil SPSS akan membantu menyimpulkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan dari beberapa variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian secara simultan dan parsial menyimpulkan bahwa dukungan selebriti, desain kemasan, media sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian di Kepulauan Riau

Abstract

A celebration is always associated with giving hampers as a means of socializing. Often, there are many businesses engaged in this field, one of which is Tiny Present. In an increasingly digital era that makes business people also adapt to the use of social media in its operations. Tiny Present has used the Instagram platform as a means of promotion and required the development of other platforms to optimize this business. The author conducted an interview with the owner and literature study on the implementation that is suitable for this MSME and the author decided to implement the use of LinkTree, WhatsApp Business, and landing pages that are considered capable of increasing brand awareness and sales from Tiny Present.

Abstract

The research aims to study the impact of e-human resources management (e-HRM) on employee performance and determine the relationship between job satisfaction in manufacturing industrial companies in the city of Batam. This research has seven variables studied, using samples from PT. Venturindo Jaya Batam, PT. Sat Nusapersada, Tbk. and PT. LKD Multi Industri, with a total of 452 respondents. Data was obtained from distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale, and the analysis tools used were SmartPLS and SPSS. The results found that e-HRM has evidence that it can increase job satisfaction and employee performance in manufacturing companies in the city of Batam. What can be seen from the results is that there are only two that have a positive and significant effect on employee performance and employee job satisfaction is not significant.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of the work environment, work motivation, rewards, and compensation on employee performance, as well as the mediating variableof job satisfaction. The method used in this research is a quantitative analysis method and a survey method by distributing questionnaires and producing 404 respondents from manufacturing companies in the city of Batam. This research was tested using the Smart Partial Least Squares (SmartPLS) model, namely a model that uses partial least squares based on partial and total probability. The results of this study show that the work environment has a significant effect on job satisfaction, work motivation has a significant effect on job satisfaction, awards have a significant effect on job satisfaction, compensation has a significant effect on job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a significant effect on the work environment, the work environment is mediated by job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance, work motivation mediated by job satisfaction has an effect on employee performance, rewards mediated by job satisfaction have an effect on employee performance, and compensation mediated by job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. The results of this research are able to illustrate what factors can produce employees with high qualifications.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, HR management has become the main focus in achieving success for a company. Quality human resources will provide significant benefits and help companies gain competitive advantage amidst increasingly fierce business competition. This can be seen from HR’s ability to achieve company goals optimally through effective HR management practices. This research was conducted to examine the influence of motivation, work environment, leadership style, and discipline on work productivity. This research uses a quantitive method using a google form containing questions that are distributed to respondent. The total sample in this study was 342 respondent, the data was processed using SPSS version 26. The research result showed that the variables motivation, leadership style, and discipline had a significant effect on work productivity while the work environment had no significant effect.

Abstract

The research aims to analyze the impact of talent management practices on organizational performance as well as human resources in the four-star hospitality industry sector in Batam City. The research uses quantitative methods as well as the application of SPSS as an analysis tool. Has respondent results with data from 251 hospitality employees using Google forms as a medium for the dissemination of questionnaires. The results of the research show that talent attraction and talent development have a significant positive impact on organizational performance as well as human resources. However, talent retention has no significant impact on the performance of the organization and the human resource. Thus, talent management practices such as talent attraction and talent development can be important factors in improving corporate performance and human resources in the four-star hospitality industry in Batam City. This research contributes to understanding how talent management practices can have an impact on organizational performance as well as human resources in the hospitality sector. These results can provide guidance for companies in developing more effective human resource management strategies for organizational goals and sustainable growth.
