Abstract

Empowering aims to increase people's income through agribusiness, mushroom cultivation and improve skills for the community, especially students at the Pondok Pesantran Al Barokah Mojolegi Wangkal Kraksaan Probolinggo which brings many benefits in the form of: (1) Mastery of free time with useful business. (2) Utilization of residual land for useful business activities, (3) Expansion of diversification in the field of farming, (4) Increased knowledge, skills, and insights in the field of cultivation, especially oyster mushroom agribusiness, (5) Improved management skills, especially in marketing field. This community service activity for oyster mushroom cultivation was carried out at the Pondok Pesantren Al Barokah Mojolegi, Wangkal, Probolinggo Regency. The results obtained are that the students have high enthusiasm to take part in counseling activities and foster oyster mushroom cultivation, as an effort to get a source of income outside of their parents' gifts. And also for the management of the Pondok Pesantran Al Barolah Mojolegi Wangkal, Probolinggo Regency, providing opportunities for resource persons to socialize community service programs to their students to start quite a lot of activities, so the students need support from both the cottage manager and intensive guidance from resource persons. for this activity to be successful.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship itself is an effort that involves other resources such as natural resources, capital and technology, so as to create wealth and prosperity through job creation, income and products needed by society. Sumurgayam village is located in Paciran District, Lamongan Regency. Most of the inhabitants work as fishermen. The catch from these fishermen is usually only consumed directly by frying or in vegetables. To increase the selling value of sea fish, several alternative processing is needed which can later increase the income of the people in the village. This community service aims to (1) Provide Information, Education and Training to cadets; (2) Providing knowledge and education about the manufacture of processed foods made from marine fish; and (3) Provide knowledge on how to use science and technology media to market products online. The approach methods carried out include an approach with the Village Government in order to synergize village activity programs, socialization and training, direct practice and ongoing mentoring. The results obtained that the enthusiasm of PKK mothers in Sumurgayam Village, Paciran District in participating in training and counseling was very high, so that after attending the training, most of the participants were able to apply the knowledge gained, namely the processing of sea fish with a variety of flavors.

Abstract

Siwalan tree is a versatile plant, one of which can produce juice which is used as a drink with a high taste and distinctive fragrance characteristics. Through processed differentification, Siwalan Fruit can produce various products that can be commercially useful. In Sumurgayam Village, Paciran District, on average, women only work as housewives. The purpose of this activity is to cultivate entrepreneurial skills through the processing of food made from siwalan fruit to PKK mothers in Sumurgayam Village, Paciran District, Kabipaten Lamongan. This activity time will be held for 3 days on February 20-22, 2023. The place where this activity was held was in Sumurgayam Village, Paciran District, Lamongan Regency. This activity uses the method of lectures, discussions, questions and answers and provides training on diversification of various processed dishes made from Siwalan Fruit to PKK mothers. The results obtained from this activity were PKK mothers, knowledge and skills that increased by more than 75% of the total participants in processing Siwalan Fruit into various high-value preparations. The more difficult the process of making process, the lower the percentage of skills of trainees.

Abstract

Kelor is a plant that can grow quickly, live long, flower all year round, withstand extreme heat conditionsThis plant comes from the tropics and subtropics of South Asia. This plant is commonly used as food and medicine in Indonesia Community Service Activities carried out from January 7, 2022 to January 9, 2022 at 08.00 to 11.00 WIB at Siti Fatimah's mother's house, Ketapang Village, Kademangan District, Probolinggo City concerning Making Noodles with Moringa Oleifera Mixture of Leaf Powder (Moringa Oleifera) participants in this activity are housewives who want to be entrepreneurial. The results obtained from this activity are to increase the creativity of Moringa leaf processing so that it can be used as a mixture of noodles that can be consumed alone and can also be processed into other meanings whose basic ingredients are noodles, so that it can increase family income and have high nutritional value. The result obtained from this service activity is that the participants' skills in this activity increase their knowledge and skills. The knowledge and skills of trainees increased by more than 75% of the total participants. The more difficult the manufacturing process, the lower the percentage of trainee skills. Abstract

Jalan Yos Sudarso, Pabean Village, Dringu District, Probolinggo Regency, East Java Province, is a village where the majority of the population are MSMEs and run the Toko Bunda business. The main problem faced by Toko Bunda business owners in Pabean Village is the limited knowledge and insight they have in business management regarding the preparation of financial reports. Therefore, the aim of this service is to help improve the ability of MSMEs to carry out bookkeeping that is simple and easy to understand. The method used in carrying out community service in South Alai Village is an approach method of socializing how to make simple financial report bookkeeping to grocery stores around the village. The results of the activities carried out are that business actors state that implementing bookkeeping in businesses has a positive effect and is very important for businesses to use in order to know how to calculate business profits or losses and measure business capabilities. Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran penting dalam memperkuat ketahanan ekonomi nasional, namun sebagian besar masih menghadapi kendala pada efisiensi produksi dan pemasaran digital. Salah satunya adalah UKM Bawang Goreng “Rahel” di Desa Pesisir, Kecamatan Sumberasih, Kabupaten Probolinggo, yang mengalami hambatan dalam peningkatan kapasitas produksi, konsistensi kualitas produk, serta strategi pemasaran daring. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi produksi, kualitas produk, dan kapasitas pemasaran digital melalui penerapan inovasi teknologi dan pendampingan manajerial. Program dilaksanakan selama lima bulan dengan metode partisipatif-aplikatif yang melibatkan dosen dan mahasiswa Universitas Panca Marga. Tahapan kegiatan meliputi observasi awal, penerapan mesin pengupas, pengiris, dan peniris minyak otomatis, pelatihan penggunaan aplikasi akuntansi berbasis Android, serta pelatihan pemasaran digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan kapasitas produksi sebesar 50% (dari 20 kg menjadi 30 kg per hari), penurunan kadar minyak hingga 20%, dan peningkatan omzet penjualan sekitar 30% melalui pemanfaatan platform e-commerce seperti Shopee dan Tokopedia. Dampak program tidak hanya dirasakan oleh mitra, tetapi juga mahasiswa yang memperoleh pengalaman lapangan melalui implementasi program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Dengan dukungan teknologi tepat guna dan digitalisasi, UKM Rahel menjadi lebih efisien, mandiri, dan berdaya saing di era ekonomi digital yang sejalan dengan tujuan Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 8) tentang pekerjaan layak dan pertumbuhan ekonomi.  Scale Up of “Rahel” Fried Shallot UKM: Transforming Production and Digital Marketing through Technological Innovation Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in strengthening Indonesia’s national and regional economies. However, most MSMEs still face challenges related to production efficiency and digital marketing capacity. One of them is “Rahel” Fried Shallot MSME located in Pesisir Village, Sumberasih District, Probolinggo Regency, which struggles to increase production capacity, maintain product consistency, and adopt digital-based marketing strategies. This community service program aimed to enhance production efficiency, product quality, and digital marketing skills through the implementation of technological innovation and managerial assistance. The program was conducted for five months using a participatory–applicative approach involving lecturers and students from Universitas Panca Marga. The activities included initial observation, application of automatic peeling, slicing, and oil-draining machines, training on Android-based accounting applications, and digital marketing workshops. The results demonstrated a 50% increase in production capacity (from 20 kg to 30 kg per day), a 20% reduction in oil content, and approximately 30% growth in sales turnover through the utilization of e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and Tokopedia. The program also provided valuable experiential learning opportunities for students participating under the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) scheme. Supported by appropriate technology and digitalization, UKM Rahel has become more efficient, independent, and competitive in the digital era, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 on decent work and economic growth.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) Universitas Panca Marga dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan pendapatan UKM Mahkota Jamur Sentana di Desa Kregenan, Kecamatan Kraksaan, Kabupaten Probolinggo. Permasalahan utama mitra meliputi penurunan hasil panen jamur tiram akibat penyiraman kumbung secara manual, belum adanya diversifikasi produk olahan, pemasaran yang masih terbatas pada lingkup lokal, serta pencatatan keuangan usaha yang belum tertata. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, program ini menerapkan pendekatan berbasis teknologi dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta transfer teknologi tepat guna berupa sistem IoT penyiraman otomatis, oven pengering, mesin grinder, dan mesin spinner. Selain itu, disusun pula standar operasional prosedur (SOP) budidaya dan pascapanen, SOP produksi kaldu jamur bubuk, panduan pencatatan keuangan digital, serta strategi pemasaran berbasis media sosial dan marketplace. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan produktivitas jamur tiram dari 4–5 kg/hari menjadi 6–7 kg/hari, lahirnya produk inovatif berupa kaldu jamur bubuk dengan merek “Kaldu Jamur Mahkota”, serta terbentuknya sistem pencatatan keuangan berbasis aplikasi digital yang lebih transparan. Produk olahan jamur juga mulai dipasarkan secara daring melalui Shopee, Tokopedia, dan Instagram sehingga jangkauan konsumen semakin luas. Program ini membuktikan bahwa kolaborasi perguruan tinggi, UKM, dan masyarakat desa mampu meningkatkan daya saing, mendorong diversifikasi produk, serta memperkuat keberlanjutan usaha kecil berbasis pertanian. Enhancing Productivity and Income of UKM Mahkota Jamur Sentana through the Optimization of Oyster Mushroom as Raw Material for Mushroom Broth Abstract The Community Partnership Program (PKM) of Universitas Panca Marga was implemented to improve the productivity and income of Mahkota Jamur Sentana SME located in Kregenan Village, Kraksaan District, Probolinggo Regency. The main problems faced by the partner included the decline in oyster mushroom yields due to manual watering of the mushroom house, the absence of product diversification, limited marketing which only reached the local market, and poorly structured financial records. To address these challenges, the program adopted a technology-based empowerment approach. The methods applied consisted of socialization, training, mentoring, and the transfer of appropriate technologies such as an IoT-based automatic watering system, drying oven, grinder, and spinner machine. In addition, standard operating procedures (SOP) for mushroom cultivation and postharvest handling, SOP for mushroom broth powder production, digital financial recording guidelines, and digital marketing strategies through social media and marketplaces were developed. The results showed that oyster mushroom productivity increased from 4–5 kg/day to 6–7 kg/day, while a new innovative product, branded “Kaldu Jamur Mahkota” (mushroom broth powder), was successfully produced and marketed. Financial management also became more transparent and organized through the use of mobile-based accounting applications. Moreover, the products started to penetrate a wider market through Shopee, Tokopedia, and Instagram, expanding beyond the local scope. This program demonstrates that the collaboration between universities, SMEs, and rural communities can enhance competitiveness, foster product diversification, and strengthen the sustainability of small-scale agribusinesses.

Abstract

Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) Universitas Panca Marga dilaksanakan di Desa Sumberduren, Kecamatan Krucil, Kabupaten Probolinggo dengan tujuan meningkatkan produktivitas, nilai tambah, dan daya saing petani kopi melalui perbaikan teknik budidaya, pengolahan pascapanen, serta pemasaran digital. Permasalahan mitra meliputi rendahnya produktivitas lahan, teknik budidaya yang belum optimal, pengolahan pascapanen yang masih tradisional, serta keterbatasan akses pasar modern. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, program ini menerapkan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis teknologi. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan, serta serah terima alat berupa mesin pulper, mesin huller, dan oven pengering. Selain itu, disusun standar operasional prosedur (SOP) budidaya kopi ramah lingkungan, SOP pengolahan pascapanen, serta strategi pemasaran digital berbasis marketplace dan media sosial. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman petani terhadap teknik budidaya kopi, perbaikan kualitas biji kopi melalui proses washed coffee dan honey process, serta lahirnya produk olahan kopi kemasan dengan merek lokal. Pemasaran produk mulai merambah platform daring seperti Shopee, Tokopedia, dan Instagram, sehingga jangkauan konsumen meluas. Pendampingan keuangan sederhana juga dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kemandirian mitra dalam mengelola usaha. Program ini membuktikan bahwa kolaborasi perguruan tinggi, petani, dan masyarakat desa mampu menghasilkan peningkatan produktivitas, diversifikasi produk, serta perluasan pasar yang berkelanjutan. Enhancing Productivity and Value Addition through Improved Cultivation Techniques, Postharvest Processing, and Digital Marketing of Coffee in Sumberduren Village  Abstract The Community Partnership Program (PKM) of Universitas Panca Marga was implemented in Sumberduren Village, Krucil District, Probolinggo Regency, with the aim of improving coffee farmers’ productivity, value addition, and competitiveness through enhanced cultivation techniques, postharvest processing, and digital marketing. The partners’ main challenges included low productivity, suboptimal cultivation methods, traditional postharvest practices, and limited access to modern markets. To address these issues, a participatory and technology-based approach was employed. The methods consisted of socialization, training, mentoring, and the transfer of equipment such as pulping machines, hulling machines, and drying ovens. Standard operating procedures (SOP) for environmentally friendly coffee cultivation, postharvest processing, and digital marketing strategies using online marketplaces and social media were also developed. The results indicated an increased understanding of improved cultivation practices, better quality coffee beans through washed coffee and honey process techniques, and the introduction of packaged coffee products under a local brand. Product marketing has expanded to online platforms such as Shopee, Tokopedia, and Instagram, enabling wider consumer reach. Basic financial management training was also provided to strengthen the partners’ business independence. This program demonstrates that collaboration between universities, farmers, and rural communities can effectively enhance productivity, diversify products, and achieve sustainable market expansion.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi pengembangan usaha UD. Pia Manalagi di Kota Probolinggo dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT dan matriks QSPM. UD. Pia Manalagi merupakan salah satu pelaku usaha mikro di bidang kuliner yang memproduksi berbagai jenis pia dan telah beroperasi sejak tahun 2004. Permasalahan yang dihadapi perusahaan meliputi fluktuasi penjualan, keterbatasan inovasi produk, serta tantangan dalam menghadapi persaingan industri kuliner lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuesioner kepada 18 responden yang terdiri atas pihak internal dan eksternal perusahaan. Analisis data dilakukan dengan tahapan formulasi strategi: tahap input (matriks IFE dan EFE), tahap pencocokan (matriks SWOT dan IE), serta tahap keputusan (matriks QSPM). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor kekuatan utama UD. Pia Manalagi adalah kualitas produk yang terjaga dan loyalitas pelanggan, sedangkan kelemahannya adalah kurangnya inovasi dan promosi digital. Peluang utama adalah tren peningkatan konsumsi produk lokal oleh wisatawan, sementara ancaman terbesar berasal dari persaingan harga dan produk sejenis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis QSPM, strategi prioritas yang direkomendasikan adalah memperluas jaringan pemasaran melalui platform digital dan peningkatan inovasi produk berbasis permintaan pasar. Kata kunci: Probolinggo, QSPM, Strategi Pengembangan Usaha, SWOT. This study aims to analyze the business development strategy of UD. Pia Manalagi in Probolinggo City using SWOT analysis and QSPM matrix. UD. Pia Manalagi is a micro-enterprise in the culinary sector that produces various types of pia and has been operating since 2004. Problems faced by the company include sales fluctuations, limited product innovation, and challenges in facing competition in the local culinary industry. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires to 18 respondents consisting of internal and external parties of the company. Data analysis was carried out with the stages of strategy formulation: the input stage (IFE and EFE matrices), the matching stage (SWOT and IE matrices), and the decision stage (QSPM matrix). The results of the study indicate that the main strengths of UD. Pia Manalagi are maintained product quality and customer loyalty, while its weaknesses are the lack of innovation and digital promotion. The main opportunity is the increasing trend of local product consumption by tourists, while the biggest threat comes from price competition and similar products. Based on the results of the QSPM analysis, the recommended priority strategy is to expand the marketing network through digital platforms and increase product innovation based on market demand. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan pedagang sayur keliling di Kecamatan Banyuanyar Kabupaten Probolinggo, dengan menggunakan analisis data regresi linear berganda. Variabel independen yang dianalisis meliputi modal usaha, lama usaha, tanggungan keluarga, jam kerja dan preferensi konsumen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, seluruh variabel tersebut berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pendapatan. Secara parsial modal usaha, lama usaha, dan jam kerja memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan, menunjukkan kontribusi langsung terhadap peningkatan pendapatan. Sebaliknya jumlah tanggungan keluarga tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan, sementara preferensi konsumen menunjukkan pengaruh yang negatif signifikan. Di antara seluruh variabel lama usaha memiliki pengaruh paling dominan terhadap pendapatan, mengindikasikan pentingnya akumulasi pengalaman dan jaringan usaha dalam sektor informal seperti pedagang sayur keliling. This study aims to investigate the factors influencing the income of mobile vegetable vendors in Banyuanyar District, Probolinggo Regency, using multiple linear regression analysis. The independent variables analyzed include business capital, business duration, number of dependents, working hours, and consumer preferences. The results of the analysis indicate that simultaneously, all these variables have a positive and significant effect on income. Partially, business capital, business duration, and working hours have positive and significant effects, demonstrating their direct contribution to income improvement. Conversely, the number of dependents does not show a significant effect, while consumer preference has a significantly negative effect. Among all variables, business duration has the most dominant influence on income, indicating the importance of accumulated experience and business networks in the informal sector, such as mobile vegetable vending.
