Abstract

The educational efforts in Indonesia, including Islamic boarding schools, in religious culture have become a formidable challenge. The Islamic Boarding School of Bustanul Arifin and Nurul Islam already have distinctive religious cultures through the programs developed in Islamic Boarding Schools. This study aims to determine the program of religious culture and the implementation of religious culture. This study uses a descriptive-comparative method. The data collection was obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis is used by inductive analysis. The data were analyzed using the Bourdieu habitus approach. The research results are as follows: First, the culture at the Islamic boarding school of Bustanul Arifin is moral, salaf culture, santri discipline culture, and Sanadan culture. The Islamic boarding school of Nurul Islam has a moral culture, clean culture, language culture, ubudiyah culture, and annual culture. Second, the implementation of religious culture at the Islamic boarding school of Bustanul Arifin is a moral culture by developing respect and honouring teachers, efforts to serve students, the mandatory wearing of hats, salaf culture with the development of sorogan culture, deliberation, memorizing of nahwu Sharaf, Malay Arabic, student discipline culture by using audio speakers, ceremonies and cults, the culture of Sanadan with a reading of musalsal hadiths. The implementation of religious culture in the Islamic boarding school of Nurul Islam is a moral culture using teacher advice, clean culture utilizing the development of room pickets, rayon pickets, and clean Fridays, language culture using Arabic and English language (muhadatsah, picket Bawab), ubudiyah culture using tajhiz mayit, the assignment of a preacher, obligatory memorization (short verses and prayers), annual culture uses khutbatul arsyi, tadris amaliyah, and community service practices.

Abstract

The community's role to improving the quality of education is still weak. MPD with supervisory duties must assist community participation through school committees. This study aims to analyze the management of the Regional Education Council (MPD) and the role of the community in improving the quality of education in Bener Meriah. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. Data collection techniques in the study include interviews, documents, and observations. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, presentation, and verification. The results of this study show that MPD management involves the role of the community in improving the quality of education in Bener Meriah, which consists of planning, implementation, supervision, and evaluation management. The management of MPD in involving the community is going well, even though at the level of implementation and execution of activities by the committee is slow, because the function of MPD is limited to mentoring, not execution.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate a conceptual design for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in senior high schools based on the Deep Learning (DL) approach. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilising library research and conceptual analysis methods. The primary source of this study is the academic manuscript "Deep Learning Towards Quality Education for All," published by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, along with other relevant scholarly literature. Data were analysed by identifying, examining, and synthesising key concepts, which were then contextualised within the design of PAI learning at the senior high school level. The findings indicate that the design of PAI learning based on the DL approach can be structured around four main frameworks: (1) the eight dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile; (2) the principles of meaningful, mindful, and joyful learning; (3) stages of learning experiences, including understanding, applying, and reflecting; and (4) the learning environment, which encompasses pedagogical practices, collaboration, digital technology, and cultural ecosystems.

Abstract

  ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari efektivitas komunikasi antara penyuluh agama dan penyelenggara Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an (TPQ) di Kabupaten Gayo Lues. TPQ, sebagai institusi pendidikan nonformal, memiliki peran strategis dalam pembentukan generasi Qur'ani, dan penyuluh agama bertindak sebagai agen perubahan yang membantu masyarakat dalam pembinaan keagamaan, namun letak geografi Gayo Lues yang berbukit-bukit menjadi tantangan komunikasi verbal langsung ataupun melalui saluran media elektronik. Penelitian ini adalah kualitatif, studi lapangan yang menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan yang dilakukan secara interaktif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa efektifitas komunikasi antara penyuluh dan penyelenggara TPQ bersifat interpersonal, keterlibatan para stakeholder, dan terintegrasi melalui saluran formal maupun informal, komunikasi dari kantor hingga warung kopi, berlangsung secara rutin, kontekstual, dan adaptif terhadap budaya lokal. Konten komunikasi mencakup hal-hal seperti pendidikan, iman, strategi dan metode pembelajaran al-Quran, dan kepedulian sosial, sementara strategi komunikasi berfokus pada empati, kerja sama, dan pemecahan masalah kolaboratif. Meskipun demikian, masalah seperti keterbatasan waktu, ketidakmampuan untuk menggunakan teknologi, dan komitmen menghambat komunikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa dalam mendukung keberlangsungan pendidikan Islam berbasis masyarakat, metode komunikasi yang kontekstual dan kultural sangat penting. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas; Komunikasi; Penyuluh Agama; Taman Pendidikan al-Qur’an   ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of communication between the organizers of the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) and religious counselors in Gayo Lues District. TPQ, as a non-formal educational institution, plays a strategic role in shaping the Qur'anic generation, while religious counselors act as agents of change, assisting the community in religious development. However, the mountainous geography of Gayo Lues poses challenges for direct verbal communication or through electronic media channels. This study employs a qualitative field research approach using data collection techniques such as observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. We conducted interactive data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing to analyze the data. The study found that communication between religious counselors and TPQ organizers was interpersonal, engaged, and integrated through formal and informal channels, ranging from offices to coffee shops, occurring regularly, contextually, and adaptively to local culture. The content of communication includes topics such as education, faith, strategies and methods of Quranic learning, and social concerns, while communication strategies focus on empathy, cooperation, and collaborative problem solving. However, issues such as time constraints, inability to use technology, and commitment hinder communication. The findings of this study emphasize that contextual and cultural communication methods are crucial in supporting the sustainability of community-based Islamic education. Abstract

Siswa yang memiliki aktivitas belajar yang tinggi sangat penting untuk pendidikan yang efektif. Namun, upaya untuk meningkatkan pendidikan sering dihalangi oleh berbagai hambatan, seperti keterbatasan sarana sekolah dan kurangnya partisipasi siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif metode STAR (Situasi, Tantangan, Aksi, dan Refleksi) yang dikombinasikan dengan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa di kelas VI di MIN 13 Bener Meriah. Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, menggunakan observasi, tes, dan analisis penilaian harian (APH). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode STAR dengan PjBL meningkatkan partisipasi dan prestasi siswa. Nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat secara signifikan; 91,67% siswa mencapai ketuntasan minimal (KKM). Selain itu, metode ini berhasil mendorong siswa untuk menjadi lebih kreatif, terlibat, dan aktif dalam proses belajar. Jadi, metode STAR dalam model PjBL efektif untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar dan pemahaman materi. Ini juga membantu siswa memperoleh keterampilan penting.

Abstract

Pada saat ini banyak orang tua tertarik menyekolahkan anaknya di sekolah swasta seperti SD IT Cendekia Takengon, karena banyak program keagamaan yang ditawarkan di sekolah ini, seperti menghafal Al-Qur’an. Sedangkan di sekolah negeri pada umumnya kurang menggiatkan program menghafal Al-Qur’an. Rumusan masalah: Bagaimana metode, kendala dan solusi mengatasi kendala dalam mencapai target hafalan Al-Qur’an peserta didik. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui metode, kendala serta solusi mengatasi kendala guru tahfidz dalam mencapai target hafalan Al-Qur’an peserta didik di SD IT Cendekia Takengon. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sumber data primer terdiri dari guru tahfidz koordinator kesiswaan sekolah di SD IT Cendekia Takengon. Teknik pengumpulan data: Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa metode yang digunakan guru tahfidz secara umum adalah metode Talaqqi, metode bin-nadhar, metode bil-ghaib, saba’, sabqi, dan metode tasmi’. Kendala: Alokasi waktu yang kurang, kemampuan menghafal peserta didik yang tidak sama, kurang bimbingan orang tua, fasilitas kurang memadai. Solusinya: Menambah waktu tahfidz diluar jam pembelajaran tahfidz, memberikan perhatian khusus, memberikan nasehat, memberikan motivasi, berkonsultasi dengan orang tua peserta didik, memberikan ruangan yang layak. Many parents are interested in sending their children to private schools, such as SD IT Cendekia Takengon, because this school offers many religious programs, such as memorizing the Qur'an. Meanwhile, in public schools, in general, there is less enthusiasm for the program of memorizing the Qur'an. Problem formulation: How methods, obstacles, and solutions overcome obstacles in achieving the target of memorizing the Qur'an of students. Objective: To find out the methods, obstacles, and solutions to overcome the difficulties of tahfidz teachers in achieving the target of memorizing the Qur'an of students at SD IT Cendekia Takengon. This research uses qualitative methods. The primary data source consists of tahfidz teachers who are school student coordinators at SD IT Cendekia Takengon. Data collection techniques: Observation, interviews, and documentation. This study concluded that the methods used by tahfidz teachers, in general, are the Talaqqi method, the bin-nadhar method, the bil-ghaib method, saba', sabqi, and the tasmi method. Constraints: Insufficient time allocation, unequal memorization ability of learners, lack of parental guidance, inadequate facilities. The solutions are increasing tahfidz time outside of tahfidz learning hours, paying particular attention, giving advice, providing motivation, collaborating with parents of learners, and providing a decent space.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi contextual teaching and learning (CTL) terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi memanfaatkan kekayaan alam indonesia kelas IV MIN 9 Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis Eskperimen, subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV MIN 9 Aceh Tengah. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas IV A sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 21 siswa dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan kelas IV B sebagai kelas Eksperimen yang berjumlah 21 siswa dengan menggunakan strategi Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dari data penelitian diperoleh uji hipotesis secara manual dengan Thitung = 90,47 dan Ttabel = 71,87, maka Thitung > Ttabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi memanfaatkan kekayaan alam Indonesia kelas IV MIN 9 Aceh Tengah.

Abstract

This study addresses the overlooked area of motivational tactics employed by parents of Qur’an memorization students (wali santri), despite their critical role in supporting perseverance and memorization success. The research aims to explore the motivational strategies used by parents through the application of Keller’s ARCS Model (Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction) and to explain the influence of Islamic values on the development of sustainable spiritual motivation. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, the study involved nine key informants—including pesantren caretakers, tahfidz instructors, and parents—selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that the four ARCS components assimilate with Qur’anic principles such as sincere intention (niat), reliance on God (tawakkal), consistency (istiqamah), and acceptance (ridha), resulting in motivation that is both psychological and spiritual. The emerging concept of transformational-spiritual motivation combines psychological approaches with religious consciousness, offering new insights into the context of tahfidz education. Theoretically, this study extends the ARCS Model by integrating an affective-transcendental system, while practically, it emphasizes the importance of Qur’an-based mentoring programs to strengthen religious motivation and moral cohesion within tahfidz families.

Abstract

Penyelesaian konflik Agama dan Intoleransi melalui moderasi beragama telah muncul sebagau sebuah gerakan bagu yang di bicarakan, khususnya di ranah Pendidikan Agama Islam. Tujuan dari Penelitian ini untuk merinci secara mendalam penerapan moderasi beragama dalam upaya menumbuhkan sikap dan praktik keagamaan yang baik dalam seorang pelajar di era modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan Studi Kasus, dengan mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan kemudian observasi untuk mengamati secara tepat situasinya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, terdapat tiga point yang dibahas diantaranya: (1) Problematika yang timbul dalam konteks moderasi beragama, (2) Moderasi beragama sebagai pendekata.n baru di sekolah, (3) Urgensi Moderasi Beragama di Sekolah, dan (4) Pendidikan Agama sebagai moderasi Pendidikan Beragama

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether or not the learning process of Islamic religious education at State Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTsN) 3 East Aceh meets the minimum standard for educational services. This objective was motivated by the fact that the majority of regional madrasa education institutions were used as secondary educational institutions by the community due to the perception that the standard of madrasa education was relatively low compared to that of public schools. Based on this history, a study must demonstrate the integrity of the community's viewpoint. The research approach employed is a form of qualitative descriptive research. Researchers collected data through observations, interviews, and documentation. The analysis findings indicate that the learning process for Islamic religious education at MTsN 3 East Aceh satisfies the minimal service requirements for secondary education. MTsN 3 East Aceh implements education by the provisions of educational standards outlined in Permendikbudristek number 32 of 2022 concerning Minimum Education Service Standards and Regulation of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia number 2 of 2008 concerning Graduate Competency Standards and Content Standards for Islamic Religious Education in Madrasas.
