Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of the Collaborative Learning Model starting from the need to create a more interactive learning environment based on cooperation between students. Traditional learning that is more passive, where the teacher is the main source of information, is considered less effective in developing students' social skills, critical thinking, and problem solving abilities. Education is the key to an individual's success. Therefore, we as educators must be able to develop ourselves as whole individuals, as members of society and citizens of the nation. In other words, being able to know ourselves, the surrounding community, and our nation. This introduction process requires the development of cognitive, affective abilities, including imagination and inspiration (Hamid Hasan, 1993: 128). The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the collaborative learning model can significantly increase student literacy, collaborative students have higher literacy, collaboration needs to be applied among students and students in schools. These collaborative learning methods further motivate or encourage students to be active and interactive and work together in completing academic tasks in class. Thus, collaborative learning is fundamentally different from the conventional-traditional approach that has been carried out so far, which is more direct-transfer or one-way transmission model. The conclusion is that learning model research can be used as an alternative to improve literacy. In this case, students become the only source of knowledge or skills. Collaborative learning views the learning process more as learner-centered and not teacher-centered.

Abstract

Studi ini menggunakan media diorama untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa UPT SPF SD Inpres BTN Ikip 1 pada mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) adalah metode yang digunakan, dan terdiri dari dua siklus: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Menurut penelitian, diorama meningkatkan minat siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPAS). Pada siklus kedua, terjadi peningkatan ketertarikan siswa setelah perbaikan metode pembelajaran. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu diorama telah terbukti berguna dalam membuat pembelajaran lebih interaktif dan menyenangkan. Disarankan agar guru memodifikasi penggunaan diorama untuk menjaga minat siswa.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the Story Grammar Strategy in improving students’ reading comprehension of narrative texts. Utilizing a Classroom Action Research approach, the research was conducted in two cycles comprising planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The participants consisted of 35 eleventh-grade students. The results showed a substantial improvement in reading comprehension scores, with the average increasing from 55.07 in the first cycle to 89.71 in the second cycle. Students demonstrated enhanced abilities in identifying narrative elements such as setting, characters, conflict, and resolution, along with increased engagement and motivation during learning activities. The findings suggest that the Story Grammar Strategy is an effective instructional method that fosters both cognitive and affective development in reading narrative texts within EFL classrooms.

Abstract

This study examines the status of waqf deeds from the perspective of Islamic law and Indonesian positive law, in response to the increasing number of cases of reacquisition of waqf land due to the absence of such deeds. The study aims to analyse and compare the status of waqf deeds from the perspective of Islamic law and positive law in Indonesia. This study is a literature review with a normative and comparative approach using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study show that the status of waqf deeds in Islamic law is valid with the existence of ṣigat ṣarīḥ, both verbal and written, although deeds remain important as a means of ḥifẓ al-māl. Conversely, in Indonesian positive law, the deed of waqf declaration occupies a fundamental position as both a pillar and a requirement for the validity of waqf, as well as serving as authentic evidence that guarantees legal certainty. This comparison emphasises that Islamic law places greater emphasis on the substance of the waqf declaration, while Indonesian positive law emphasises the formal aspects through the deed. Thus, this study provides an understanding that the deed of wakaf declaration plays an important role in creating legal order and certainty in wakaf practices in Indonesia. This study contributes to the development of Islamic law and positive law in Indonesia by explaining the importance of the deed of wakaf declaration in preserving wakaf assets and promoting public welfare, providing insights for policymakers, legal practitioners, and the general public.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi contextual teaching and learning (CTL) terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi memanfaatkan kekayaan alam indonesia kelas IV MIN 9 Aceh Tengah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif jenis Eskperimen, subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV MIN 9 Aceh Tengah. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas IV A sebagai kelas kontrol yang berjumlah 21 siswa dengan menggunakan metode ceramah dan kelas IV B sebagai kelas Eksperimen yang berjumlah 21 siswa dengan menggunakan strategi Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL). Berdasarkan hasil analisis dan pembahasan dari data penelitian diperoleh uji hipotesis secara manual dengan Thitung = 90,47 dan Ttabel = 71,87, maka Thitung > Ttabel sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA materi memanfaatkan kekayaan alam Indonesia kelas IV MIN 9 Aceh Tengah.

Abstract

This study investigates the application of Cooperative Learning to enhance Islamic Multicultural Education at UPTD SD Negeri Togubang 3, Geger District - Bangkalan Regency, utilizing a qualitative research approach. Cooperative Learning models, including CIRC, Make a Match, IOC, Mind Mapping, Kartu Arisan, and others, were strategically selected based on the Islamic education curriculum. The preparatory phase involved setting objectives, defining tasks, and planning instructional processes. Interviews with educators and observations highlighted the importance of active student participation and group dynamics. Support from the school principal, teacher competency, and student interest were identified as crucial factors facilitating Cooperative Learning success. Challenges, such as limited Islamic Multicultural Education resources, were acknowledged. Despite challenges, Cooperative Learning significantly improved Islamic Multicultural Education activities. The study underscores the need for ongoing support, resource enhancement, and a commitment to pedagogical innovation for sustained effectiveness. The positive impact of student enthusiasm emphasizes the importance of maintaining and encouraging active participation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the benefits and roles of Smart TV in teaching English at Indonesian senior high schools. The Smart TV in this study refers to digital technology provided by the Ministry of Education under the Smart School Program, which was initially implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic and is now integrated into regular classroom activities. This qualitative research employed a case study design involving three English teachers from different senior high schools in Watampone. The data were collected through interviews and classroom observations. The findings reveal that the use of Smart TV offers several benefits in English teaching, including fostering students’ engagement, enhancing their interest and motivation, and improving classroom interaction. In addition, Smart TV serves as an effective learning resource that provides teachers with easier access to teaching materials and enables the use of audiovisual content to support language comprehension. Observations confirmed that Smart TV promotes more dynamic, enjoyable, and technology-oriented learning environments. The study concludes that Smart TV plays a significant role in supporting teachers’ pedagogical practices and students’ learning experiences, suggesting its potential for wider integration in language classrooms.

Abstract

Kredit merupakan salah satu produk BPR yang banyak dibutuhkan masyarakat dalam memenuhi kebutuhannya terutama yang berkaitan dengan pengembangan usaha. Akan tetapi, kredit tersebut seringkali mengalami masalah. Status kolektibilitas yang merupakan klasifikasi status keadaan pembayaran atau angsuran pokok dan bunga kredit dikategorikan ke dalam 5 klasifikasi, yaitu kredit lancar (kol-1), kredit dalam perhatian khusus (kol-2), kredit kurang lancar (kol-3), kredit diragukan (kol-4), dan kredit macet (kol-5) digunakan untuk melihat status kredit nasabah. Untuk menangani hal tersebut, PT BPR Hasamitra Cabang Pangkep menerapkan prinsip 5C yang merupakan sistem yang digunakan oleh bank atau pemberi pinjaman lainnya untuk mengukur kelayakan kredit calon debitur. Adapun indikator prinsip 5C yaitu Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, dan Condition. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kredit bermasalah serta penerapan prinsip 5C dalam menangani kredit bermasalah pada PT BPR Hasamitra Cabang Pangkep. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu metode penelitian yuridis empiris. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan terjadinya kredit bermasalah, yakni debitur tidak dapat mengatur menajemen keuangan dengan baik, debitur melakukan desersi, debitur mengalami perubahan sistem bayar/penggajian, debitur melakukan double financing, debitur menghilang, debitur konsumtif, debitur melakukan korupsi, dan debitur meninggal dunia. Penerapan prinsip 5C dalam menangani kredit bermasalah pada PT BPR Hasamitra Cabang Pangkep sudah berjalan dengan baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari minimnya debitur yang mengalami kredit bermasalah. Per Mei 2023 jumlah debitur yang mengalami kredit bermasalah sebesar 0,9%.

Abstract

Previous studies on resilience among People Living with HIV (PLHIV) have predominantly emphasized individual psychological factors, while the role of community-based accompaniment contexts remains underexplored. Addressing this gap, this study examined the relationship between self-acceptance and resilience among PLHIV assisted by a community-based organization in Makassar. This quantitative research employed a correlational design involving 53 PLHIV affiliated with Yayasan Gaya Celebes. Data were collected using validated self-acceptance and resilience questionnaires and analyzed through descriptive statistics, assumption testing, and Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis. The findings indicated that most participants demonstrated moderate levels of both self-acceptance and resilience. Although a positive association was observed between self-acceptance and resilience (r = 0.251), the relationship did not reach statistical significance (p > 0.05), and the effect size was small. These results suggest that self-acceptance may function as a supportive psychological resource rather than a primary determinant of resilience within a community-assisted context. Theoretically, this study contributes to the multidimensional understanding of resilience by demonstrating that internal psychological factors alone may not sufficiently explain adaptive functioning among PLHIV. The findings reinforce the importance of situating resilience within broader social and contextual frameworks. Practically, the study underscores the relevance of strengthening community-based accompaniment programs through peer support, stigma reduction initiatives, and sustained psychosocial assistance embedded in local contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to produce a science learning resource in the form of a SETS-I based (Science, Environment, Technology, Society, and Islamic Integration) Bio Pocketbook that is valid, practical, and effective. The research subjects consisted of expert validators, three teachers, and students, with the product being validated by experts before being tested. This type of research is research and development (R&D), adapted from the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Validity data were collected using a product validation questionnaire on the human respiratory system material. Practicality data were obtained through student and teacher response questionnaires, while effectiveness data were collected through a scientific literacy skills test. The results showed that the average overall validity score of the product was in the very high category (1.00). The response results indicated that the product met the criteria of practicality, as the average student response to the product was in the very practical category (92%), and the average teacher response was also in the very practical category (93.75%). The product development also met the effectiveness criteria, as shown by the average N-gain score of each student, which was in the high category (0.73).
