Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of teachers in overcoming students' learning difficulties in thematic learning at Silu Elementary School, students' learning difficulties experienced during thematic learning and teacher management in solving problems. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. With data collection techniques through participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The informants for this research were school principals and class teachers related to thematic learning. Analyze the data using triangulation techniques. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of research on the role of teachers in overcoming students' learning difficulties in thematic learning at Siluk Elementary School are (1) the causes of learning difficulties are lack of concentration and difficulty in remembering thematic learning material for a long time, (2) thematic learning as a learning model in elementary schools has various characteristics or characteristics. typical, namely students as the center of learning or what is often called (Student Centered education), learning is flexible, learning is comprehensive or holistic and meaningful, learning is tailored to students' interests and needs, provides direct experience, requires students to be active and eliminates dividing boundaries between subjects, and (3) The teacher's role in overcoming learning difficulties in thematic learning is as a facilitator whose task is to provide guidance and training to students so that changes occur

Abstract

The significant decline in student enrollment at private schools, particularly Christian-Catholic schools in Magelang City and Regency, serves as the background of this study. The purpose of the research is to identify the factors contributing to the decrease in student numbers, examine the efforts made to sustain school operations, and explore the involvement of alumni, parents, and the church in addressing the issue. This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing interviews, observations, and document analysis as data collection techniques. Data were gathered from five Christian-Catholic schools and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, encompassing data reduction, data display, conclusion drawing, and verification. The findings reveal two main factors behind the decline in student enrollment: internal and external factors, both of which interact without one being dominantly influential. Various efforts have been undertaken to prevent further decline, including strengthening school management by principals and enhancing the active involvement of alumni, parents, and the church. The synergy among these stakeholders is crucial in ensuring the schools' sustainability amid ongoing demographic and social challenges.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and investigate the use of online suggestions and critiques from parents in order to enhance safe environment conditions; also, it provides insights on how effective online platforms are at promoting open communication between schools and parents with reference to safety issues at SMP Negeri 11 Magelang. By employing qualitative analysis through qualitative research methodology that entails a case study design approach, the study was done. The main point was on whether parents use web-based media when offering suggestions or making criticisms. Based on data analysis conducted, the platform was found to be useful in handling suggestions and criticisms made by parents. It was noted by respondents that this platform encouraged more involvement by parents into matters concerning school safety. Among these respondents who were parents, 80% indicated they were satisfied while 85% were learners.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of One Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) management at MAN 2 Kulon Progo, a madrasah with the Integrity Zone (ZI) and Corruption Free Area (WBK) status. This study describes the implementation of the POAC function, identifies supporting and inhibiting factors, and formulates improvement strategies. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The main data sources for this study were the madrasah principal, PTSP officers, and service users, while data analysis was conducted using the interactive model from Miles and Huberman. The results show that PTSP management has been carried out systematically, starting with thorough SOP-based planning and then executed through a clear organizational structure. This consistent and responsive service implementation is monitored through a continuous control mechanism, ensuring the achievement of quality standards. The main supporting factors include leadership commitment and ZI/WBK status, while inhibiting factors include limited digital infrastructure and human resource capacity. It was concluded that PTSP management significantly improved the quality of educational services, as evidenced by the very high level of community satisfaction (SKM), while also confirming the success of the madrasah in implementing its commitment as an Integrity Zone and Corruption Free Area.
