Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the improvement of the activity and achievement of students during cooperative learning model Number Heads Together type, whose standard competence was to understand the economic activities of society. This research was carried out at SMPN 1 Mesuji Ogan Komering Ilir subdistrict, South Sumatra in the even-year semester 2011/2012 to 30 of VII2 students. The researcher used Classroom Action Research (CAR) method which was done in 2 cycles. The activities were planning, implementation of the action, observation, and reflection for each cycle. To collect the data, the researcher used observation, field notes and tests at the end of each cycle. The results of this research showed the scores of students learning activities at the cycle I was 54,99%. In the cycle I, learning activities was done by group discussions and presentation with numbering. In the cycle II, there was an improvement 23,34% so it became 78,33%. The treatment of learning activity at this cycle was different. Besides, the students were given chance to do group debates in order for all students to participate at the presentation activities. While the average of students achievement in cycle I was 59,33, in cycle II it improved to 73,33. The average of students achievement who get the score ≥ 70 at the cycle I was 57%, at cycle II there was an improvement 29,66% so it became 86,66%. It can be concluded that cooperative learning model Number Heads Together type can be applied as an alternative learning to improve the activity and achievement of VII2 social class students at SMP Negeri 1 Mesuji. Keywords  : cooperative learning model NHT type, Geography Education, fkip,unila

Abstract

This study aims to examine the social-economic characteristics of workers in CV Bumi Indah Koala Ketapang in 2018. The objects of this research are education, income, fulfillment of basic family needs, living conditions, number of dependents, children's education level, and workside. The method used in this research is a descriptive method with 42 population workers. Based on secondary data gathered, conducted by survey, questioner and documentation, and analyzed use the frequency table. The result showed that (1) education of workers mostly at basic education as much as 56.6%. (2) 36.9% of the workers income is above the UMK (City Minimum Wages). (3) 89.2% of workers are able to complete their minimum basic necessaries (4) 45.6% of workers have their semi-permanent house. (5) Most family heads have a large number of dependents with 57.2%. (6) Children's education is in the category of elementary school. (7) 19.1% workers have jobs as a marketer.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji karakteristik sosial ekonomi buruh CV. Bumi Indah Koala Ketapang tahun 2018. Kajian Penelitian pada pendidikan, pendapatan, pemenuhan kebutuhan pokok keluarga, kondisi tempat tinggal, jumlah tanggungan, jenjang pendidikan anak, dan pekerjaan sampingan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, dengan jumlah populasi penelitian 42 buruh. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dengan angket atau kuesioner dan studi dokumentasi, dan dianalisis dengan tabel frekuensi persentase, hasil yang didapat bahwa: (1) Pendidikan buruh berada pada tingkat pendidikan dasar 56,6%. (2) Sebanyak 36,9% buruh berpendapatan di atas UMK (Upah Minimum Kota ). (3) Terdapat 89,2% kebutuhan pokok minimum keluarga buruh  dapat terpenuhi. (4) Sebanyak 45,6 % buruh memiliki tempat tinggal semi permanen. (5) Sebagian besar kepala keluarga memiliki jumlah tanggungan besar yakni 57,2%. (6) Jenjang pendidikan anak termasuk kategori sekolah  dasar (7) 19,1% buruh  memiliki pekerjaan sebagai pedagang.Kata Kunci: sosial,ekonomi,keluarga buruh

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memetakan zonasi wilayah berpotensi terdampak tsunami dan memberikan alternatif jalur evakuasi tsunami di Kecamatan Krui Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif berbasis sig dengan teknik interpretasi dan overlay dengan cara skoring. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Kecamatan Krui Selatan memiliki 3 zona berupa zona sangat rawan, zona rawan, dan zona aman ( zona evakuasi), berdasarkan hasil analisis peta zonasi terdampak tsunami, luas zonasi yang paling dominan merupakan zona sangat rawan dengan luas 1.446 ha, selanjutnya zona rawan memiliki luas 834 ha, dan wilayah yang termasuk kedalam zona aman (zona evakuasi) memiliki luas sebersar 1.345 ha. Kata Kunci: zonasi terdampak tsunami, bencana, sig, jalur evakuasi DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.23960/jpg.v10.i1.20567

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research was to find out the plantation of palm oil in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni Business Unit at Jemenang village Rambang Dangku sub-district Muara Enim regency South Sumatra in 2012. The focuses of this research were the source of the raw materials, labor, transportation, and marketing.The method used in this research was descriptive method. The subject in this study was the plantation of palm oil in PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni Business Unit. For data collection, the researcher used observation, interview, questionnaire, and documentation. While data analysis with percentages were used as the basis for the interpretation and description in making of this research report.The results of this research showed that the plantation of palm oil in PT Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni Business Unit was as following: 1) the origin of raw materials PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni entirely from farmers who are partners of the company, 2) the work force is working on PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni comes from within and outside the province of South Sumatra, 3) means of transportation on the PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII Suni entirely contract status, and 4) the marketing of their products are marketed both in Domestic and Export.Key Word : Industry, Palm Oil

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activities and geography learning outcomes of twelfth grade social students of Kebumen Islamic High School through the implementation of the cooperative learning model think talk write type. The method used is classroom action research. The research subjects were students twelfth grade Kebumen Islamic High School Tanggamus Regency. The object of the research is the cooperative learning model think talk write type to increase the activities and the student learning outcomes. The results showed that the cooperative learning model think talk write type can increase activity and learning outcomes social students of Kebumen Islamic High School Tanggamus Regency, it is recommended for teacher of geography to make variations of learning by applying the type of cooperative learning model think talk write in the classroom.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar geografi siswa kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Islam Kebumen melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Islam Kebumen Kabupaten Tanggamus. Objek penelitian adalah model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar XII IPS 1 SMA Islam Kebumen Kabupaten Tanggamus, maka disarankan kepada guru geografi untuk membuat variasi pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe think talk write di kelas.Kata Kunci: aktivitas, hasil belajar, TTW

Abstract

The aims of this research were to find out the differences in students’geography’s activity and outcomes with high and low initial ability of students who were taught through Articulation and Think Pair Share techniques in X grade MA Diniyyah Putri Lampung. This study used experimental method by Quasi-Experimental Design. The population was students of 1K grade. Number of samples is 42 students,taken by purposive sampling technique. Data collection used the students’ activities observation sheet and test techniques.Based on the hypothesis test, it was found that there was no significant difference on: 1)mean score of geography’s learning activities as a whole; 2) mean score of geography’s learning outcomes as a whole; 3) geography’s learning activity of high initial ability between students who were taught through Articulation and Think Pair Share; 4) geography’s learning activity of low initial ability between students who were taught through Articulation and Think Pair Share; 5) mean score of geography’s learning outcomes of high initial ability between students who were taught through Articulation and Think Pair Share; 6) mean score of geography’s learning outcomes of low initial ability between students who were taught through Articulation and Think Pair Share.Keyword: model, technique, articulation, think pair share

Abstract

The aim of study was to analyze the change of land area, type of change in the use of land and the  factor causing the change  of  the  use  of  land  in Kecamatan Pagelaran Kabupaten Pringsewu in 2013-2018. The data obtained this research were (1) The area changed is 1.517.70 ha’s (20.94%) and the kind of change in the use of land were forest to moor, plantations to moor, farm to settlement, farm to moor, swamp to moor, moor to settlement and moor to farm. (2) The dominant factor that caused the change of the land used was the social economic factor which included of occupation and the increasing number of population.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis luas lahan yang berubah, jenis perubahan penggunaan lahan dan faktor yang menyebabkan perubahan penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Pagelaran Kabupaten Pringsewu tahun 2013-2018. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) Luas lahan yang mengalami perubahan  yaitu seluas 1,517,70 ha (20,94%) dan jenis perubahan penggunaan lahan yang berubah adalah hutan ke tegalan, perkebunan ke tegalan, sawah ke pemukiman, sawah ke tubuh air ke tegalan, tegalan ke pemukiman dan tegalan ke sawah. Abstract

This study aims to compare the results of learning geography through cooperative learning model type and type TGT NHT students of SMAN 12 Bandar Lampung Year 2012/2013. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental methods (quasi experimental design) with a population of students of class XI IPS SMA 12 Bandar Lampung totaling 124 students were then sampled as many as 62 students. Analysis of the data using paired samples t-test. Based on the data analysis, the results showed that: 1. There is a difference in learning outcomes at the beginning of high-ability students who use learning model TGT (mean = 83.85) using the model pembelajarn NHT (mean = 68.85). 2. There is a difference in learning outcomes in students with low initial TGT using learning model (mean = 72.78) using the model pembelajarn NHT (mean = 58.61). 3. Learning outcomes at the beginning of high-ability students and low initial capability model TGT higher learning (high = 83.85, low = 72.78) than the average student learning outcomes Geography NHT model (high = 70.00, low = 58.61).

Abstract

The objective of this research is to examine the factors that cause an environmental damaging in Bandar Jaya Market in Central Lampung Regency. The focus of this research was the factors caused the environmental damage in Bandar Jaya Market in Central Lampung Regency. The method of this research was descriptive with the sample of 21 people. The data collection method of this research were observation, interview 21 people, and documentation. The data of this research were analyzed by interactive analyzing data method by Miles and Huberman. The result of this research were (1) Based on 12 informants the market environmental was damaged. (2) Based on 21 informants the factor caused environmental damage was trash, 17 informants mentioned the lacking of waste and environmental management system, and 11 informants mentioned a lack of awareness for cleanliness.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor penyebab kerusakan lingkungan Pasar Bandar Jaya Kabupaten Lampung Tengah. Fokus kajianya adalah kondisi kerusakan lingkungan pasar dan  faktor penyebab kerusakan lingkungan pasar.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan sampel sebanyak 21 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini  menggunakan teknik observasi,  wawancara dengan  21  orang sebagai informan, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah model analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman.Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan (l) Menurut 12 informan lingkungan pasar mengalami kerusakan. (2) Menurut 21 informan faktor pernyebab kerusakan lingkungan pasar adalah sampah, 17 informan menyebutkan buruknya sistem pengelolaan sampah dan lingkungan, dan 11 informan menyebutkan kurangnya kesadaran akan kebersihan.Kata kunci: faktor, kerusakan lingkungan, pasar

Abstract

This study aims to find out : (1) the ability to design a lesson plan, (2) the ability to carry out learning, (3) the ability to evaluate the learning of social studies teachers at public and private middle schools in Metro City academic year 2017/2018. This research use a descriptive method. This study is a simple randomize taken by drawing, taking a sample of 50% of 41 social studies teachers. The data collection is done by using questionnaire techniques, documentation, interviews, and observations. The data analysis technique used is percentages. The results of the study show the teacher's performance possessed by social studies teachers with the following indicators: (1) social studies teachers already have the ability to design the learning plan well as much as 36.58%, (2) social studies teachers have the ability to carry out learning with sufficient criteria as much as 36.58%, ( 3) social studies teachers have the ability to evaluate the learning with sufficient criteria as much as 36.58%.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : (1) kemampuan merencanakan pembelajaran, (2) kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran, (3) kemampuan mengevaluasi pembelajaran guru IPS pada SMP Negeri dan Swasta di Kota Metro Tahun Ajaran 2017/2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Penelitian ini menggunakan random sederhana diambil secara undian, pengambilan sampel sebanyak 50% yaitu 41 guru IPS. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik kuesioner, dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan presentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kinerja guru yang dimiliki oleh guru IPS dengan indikator sebagai berikut: (1) guru IPS sudah memiliki kemampuan merencanakan  pembelajaran dengan baik sebanyak 36,58%, (2) guru IPS memiliki kemampuan melaksanakan pembelajaran  dengan kriteria cukup sebanyak 36,58%, (3) guru IPS memiliki kemampuan mengevaluasi pembelajaran dengan kriteria cukup sebanyak 36,58%.Kata Kunci: analisis, guru IPS, kinerja
