Abstract

Gambier plants thrive in tropical regions with sloping and hilly terrain, such as North Sumatra, West Sumatra, and Papua. The partners in this community service proposal are the Im Kita Farmers Group in Boangmanalu Village, Salak District, Pakpak Bharat Regency, who are gambier farmers. Over the past 7 years of running the business, the partners have faced many challenges, including the lack of digital marketing and the absence of a sharp business strategy management, resulting in weak business competitiveness. Addressing this issue urgently is necessary to improve the welfare of the partners and as a form of empowerment of our own natural resources. This community service activity has been carried out on July 27, 2024, and all stages from preparation to implementation have run smoothly. Through this activity, the partners have been trained in conducting digital marketing and business strategy management training.

Abstract

Technological developments are currently increasingly prevalent and have merged into various aspects of human life. One aspect that is greatly penetrated and influenced by technological advances is the business and entrepreneurship sector. Currently, the MSME sector is expected to increase not only in terms of quantity, but also in quality through reforming business implementation from conventional to digital-based. Business digitalization can be applied to various business activities, one of which is in the marketing sector. Sihobuk peanuts are a native product originating from North Tapanuli Regency. Sihobuk peanut entrepreneurs in Sipoholon District are experiencing stagnant conditions and low business revenues, allegedly due to the lack of implementation of marketing digitalization. This study aims to conduct and implement marketing digitalization through Facebook social media and measure its impact on business revenue. The study was conducted on five Sihobuk peanut MSMEs using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) method. The results showed a 20%–30% increase in revenue after implementing Facebook social media marketing for three months. The implementation of marketing digitalization has proven effective in increasing the income of Sihobuk peanut MSMEs and is a practical solution for traditional business actors in the digital era.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Dalig Raya Village to improve the effectiveness of digital marketing for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Suka Aren, Dalig Raya. The research used a 4D model. The Define stage was used to identify conventional marketing constraints that limit market reach. The Design stage included designing a digital marketing strategy through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and the Shopee e-commerce platform. The Develop stage involved creating visual content, collaborating with influencers, and utilizing interactive features. The Disseminate stage included content publication, sales monitoring, and evaluating the effectiveness of each platform. The results showed an average increase in revenue before and after digital marketing implementation of 43.04% within a three-month trial period. Shopee contributed the highest sales channel due to the integration of social media accounts with the business's e-commerce account. During the development process, TikTok was found to be the highest-performing social media platform with 14,200 content views, followed by Instagram with 2,502 viewers, and Facebook with 150 viewers. Facebook was effective in building communication and education, Instagram and TikTok excelled in increasing brand awareness, while Shopee served as the primary channel for sales conversion. Multi-channel strategies have been proven to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and have an impact on increasing the income of MSMEs.

Abstract

Boangmanalu Village is a village located in Pakpak Bharat Regency, North Sumatra Province. The majority livelihoods  of the population are agriculture and the economy is focused on agriculture. Agricultural products from Pakpak Bharat Regency include Gambir, Patchouli, Coffee, Sukat (Taro), Citronella, Pineapple, etc. The partners in this activity are entrepreneurial farmers, named Maju Tani Group in Boangmanalu Village. Since 2021, this group has been producing pineapple chips as an effort to empower pineapple fruit. However, the production of these pineapple chips still has a number of limitations. The problem encountered is the unoptimal implementation of this business in the production side, that the cover of pineapple chips package are not attractive, the manufacturing process pineapple chips that still use conventional methods without the use of machines, and the management wich still unorganized. The solutions offered to this problem are to create a new design of pineapple chip cover packaging, provide a Vacuum Frying machine, and held organizational management training. With this activity, the members of the Maju Tani Group will gain knowledge and experience directly in improving the pineapple chip business and the management of the organization. This service activity also purposed to empower the Maju Tani Group and increase the Pineapple Chips business which ultimately contributes to the improvement of the family economy in Boangmanalu Village.

Abstract

The fertilizer business is a business field that will never die because fertilizer is always needed in agriculture. The partner in this proposed service activity is the Suruhen Simpogos Farmers and Livestock Group in Siempat Rube II Village, Siempat Rube District, Pakpak Bharat Regency. This group consists of corn farmers and cattle breeders and is currently transforming into fertilizer entrepreneurs. Along with the increase in cattle farming, a new problem began to emerge, namely the amount of cow manure. With full awareness of environmental conditions, this group processes cow dung into organic fertilizer. However, this fertilizer business has several problems, namely business management is not neat. The solution offered to overcome this problem is to conduct business management training. The method for implementing this activity is training and mentoring. This proposed service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of partners in running their business which ultimately leads to increasing business capacity. This activity also aims to support productive businesses based on being environmentally friendly. Handling this problem is urgent because the fertilizer business has great potential to be developed in Pakpak Bharat, where the majority of the population works as farmers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui analisis pengaruh Responsiveness dan Complaint Handling Terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan Pada Usaha Jasa Pangkas Serasi Jalan Tempuling Medan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu Purposive Sampling. Populasi yang digunakan dalam Penelitian ini adalah Konsumen Pangkas Serasi Jalan Tempuling Medan dan mendapatkan sampel sebanyak 96 sampel. Pengolahan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan Software SPSS versi 26. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa Responsiveness berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan, variabel Complaint Handling berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan. Kemudian Responsiveness dan Complaint Handling secara Bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Loyalitas Pelanggan. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Live Streaming dan Viral Marketing Terhadap Keputusan Pembelian di Aplikasi Tiktok pada mahasiswa Program Studi Bisnis Digital, Universitas Negeri Medan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa Program Studi Bisnis Digital Universitas Negeri Medan yang berjumlah 358 orang. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan sampel berjumlah 120 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner yang pengukurannya menggunakan skala likert dan diolah secara statistik menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda , uji asumsi klasik, uji t, uji f, dan uji koefisien determinasi (R2), yang akan diuji menggunakan program aplikasi SPSS 23 for Windows. Berdasarkan hasil uji t diperoleh bahwa variabel Live Streaming berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian. Viral Marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian . Berdasarkan hasil uji f, secara simultan Live Streaming dan Viral Marketing berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian. Pada uji koefesien determinasi diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,639 sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa 63,9% proporsi Keputusan Pembelian dipengaruhi oleh Live Streaming dan Viral marketing sedangkan sisanya 36,1% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti. Kata Kunci: Live Streaming , Viral Marketing, Keputusan Pembelian.

Abstract

Prodi Kewirausahaan Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED) adalah salah satu lembaga pendidikan yang berperan aktif dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan Kewirausahaan. Prodi ini memiliki visi untuk menghasilkan Entrepreneur. Salah satu keahlian yang dituntut bagi seorang pengusaha adalah kemampuan berbahasa internasional. Permasalahan yang terjadi di Prodi Kewirausahaan ini adalah kemampuan bahasa Inggris masiswa yang  masih rendah, hal ini tercermin dari rendahnya hasil belajar mereka. Permasalahan ini mungkin disebabkan oleh kurangnya buku bahasa Inggris bisnis yang dimiliki dosen sehingga berdampak pada tidak optimalnya penyampaian pembelajaran di kelas. Selama ini, materi yang diberikan masih berupa materi adopsi yang dirangkum secara umum tanpa menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan mahasiswa terhadap peningkatan kemampuan berbahasa internasional. Dosen tidak memiliki buku ajar sendiri sehingga dosen tidak memiliki panduan yang jelas dalam mengajar. Ketidaktersediaan bahan ajar mengakibatkan pengajaran yang kurang variatif dan tidak terarah. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dosen pengampu mata kuliah Business English perlu menciptakan buku sendiri karena harus bisa sekreatif mungkin membantu mahasiswa dalam memahami Bahasa Inggris Bisnis. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan (Research and Develompment (RnD)). Metodologi penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan empat dimensi (4-D) yang terdiri dari empat tahap: (1) pendefinisian, (2) perancangan, (3) pengembangan, dan (4) penyebaran. Ada dua jenis metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu validitas dan efektivitas. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, buku yang dihasilkan termasuk kategori sangat sesuai dengan skor validitas sebesar 91,12%. Berdasarkan uji keefektivan, rata-rata nilai mahasiswa sebelum tes lebih rendah dibandingkan nilai postes, dan nilai signifikansi yang diperoleh sebesar 0,00.

Abstract

Video 3D Realist merupakan suatu bahan ajar yang dapat memberikan kemudahan kepada peserta didik dalam memahami konteks materi pembelajaran sehingga mudah untuk menerapkannya dalam sebuah project. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kelayakan dan menganalisis dampak penggunaan bahan ajar Perilaku Organisasi dengan 3D Realist berbasis Project Based Learning pada hasil berlajar mahasiswa. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Metodel R&D model ADDIE dengan menggunakan software 3DPageflip Profesional. Populasi penelitian adalah Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bisnis semester 6. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan angket. Data diolah dengan menggunkan analisis deskriptif. Uji yang dilakukan adalah uji kelayakan, dan uji efektifitas. Hasil uji validasi kelayakan isi memperoleh score rata-rata 86%, aspek penyajian memperoleh socre rata-rata 91% dan aspek bahasa memperoleh score rata-rata 87%. Seluruh aspek kelayakan masuk kategori sangat layak. Dilihat dari uji keefektifan diketahui bahwa nilai sig yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini adalah sebesar 0,000<0, 05, artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan menggunakan bahan ajar. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar Perilaku Organisasi dengan 3D Realist Berbasis Project Based Learning sangat layak dan efektif digunakan.

Abstract

This research aimed to develop an interactive Android e-book using Augmented Reality (AR) to enhance student learning outcomes of Green Business courses. The e-book included both offline and online resources and utilized AR to provide 3D visuals for a more engaging learning experience. The method used was Research and Development (R&D) with the Plomp Model. This model consists of five stages namely Preliminary Investigation ; Design ; Realization / Construction ; Test, Evaluation and Revision ; and Implementation. The data analysis technique is an Effectiveness Test using SmartPLS4 software. The results showed that the Green Business e-book effectively improved students' learning outcomes. This research indicates that visually-based e-books can be an effective tool for enhancing student learning outcomes. Educational institutions should consider developing more digital learning materials, especially those related to topics such as Green Business.
