Abstract

This exploratory study aims to fill the research gap on unanswered findings in the Service-Dominant Logic (SDL) approach from the role of the inspiring value process. The novelty of this study's model framework is rooted in the SDL perspective that an inspiring value process will achieve shared value creation from the support of customer participation. In the end, this inspiration can shape values from product-centered to service-centered. Four hypotheses were developed and tested using PLS-SEM analysis techniques within a sample frame of 175 MSMEs in Central Java, Indonesia. The findings of this investigation produce four conceptual contributions. Firstly, customer participation has been proven not to impact improving marketing performance positively, but marketing performance can increase when bridged by an inspiring value process from customer participation. Thirdly, customer participation can provide leverage to inspire process value. Fourthly, the inspiring value process directly contributes positively to increasing marketing performance. Conceptual implications provide new propositions that can bridge inconsistencies in findings and empirical results, proving the role of the inspiring value process in contributing practically and theoretically to the SDL perspective

Abstract

The development of digital transactions has driven the need for more accurate and easily monitored Electronic Data Capture (EDC) devices to support payment processes in the retail and distribution sectors. However, the manual and unintegrated EDC monitoring mechanism leads to data inconsistencies, delays in operational information, and low device traceability throughout its lifecycle. This research develops a real-time, web-based EDC population monitoring system to improve device management efficiency and operational data quality. The needs analysis was conducted using the PIECES framework, while the development process adopted the Waterfall model, encompassing analysis, design, implementation, and testing. The resulting system supports device registration, distribution monitoring, activation tracking, mutation recording, and device closure. Test results show significant improvements in data accuracy, reporting speed, and monitoring process effectiveness compared to manual methods. These findings contribute to the literature on enterprise digital asset management and demonstrate that a structured development approach can optimize the EDC device monitoring process in large-scale retail networks.

Abstract

This study examines how personalization and interactivity on Indonesia’s digital tourism platforms shape consumer trust and visit decisions. Personalization captures how well a platform tailors content such as destination options, itineraries, and deals to a user preferences, budget, and travel context. Interactivity reflects how responsive and engaging the platform is when users search, compare, ask questions, and adjust plans. Using a cross-sectional survey of 415 users who had used platform features within the past six months. The data were analyzed with PLS-SEM in SmartPLS 4. The results show that both personalization and interactivity positively and significantly increase consumer trust, with personalization emerging as the strongest driver. For visit decisions, personalization and interactivity also have significant positive effects. However, consumer trust does not significantly predict visiting decisions and therefore does not mediate the effects of platform features on visit decision. This suggests a trust–behavior gap where users may feel confident in a platform, yet their final choice is still driven mainly by practical planning value. Tourism platforms should prioritize relevant, context-aware recommendations and responsive planning assistance, while reinforcing decision cues such as clear cost and time estimates and credible social proof to better convert interest into visit decision.

Abstract

Abstract. Modern corporations and industries play a crucial role in global economic development. However, with rapid industrial growth, large-scale production, and intensive use of natural resources, humans have inadvertently created serious threats to the environmental balance. One of the most significant and damaging negative impacts is environmental pollution, specifically the problem of toxic hazardous material waste. The protection of communities from environmental crimes involves imposing criminal sanctions not only on individual legal subjects but also on corporate legal entities, a concept known as corporate criminal liability. The aim of this research is to analyze the manifestation of corporate criminal liability in cases involving the illegal disposal of hazardous toxic waste into the environment. Additionally, it seeks to examine the enforcement of corporate law in these instances. This research employs qualitative methods with a normative juridical approach. The legal sources used in this normative research include primary legal materials, secondary legal materials, and tertiary legal materials. The findings of this research suggest that the handling of corporate criminal acts, particularly in cases of hazardous toxic waste dumping, falls short of delivering complete justice due to obstacles in the investigation, prosecution, and the establishment of environmental impacts in the prosecution of corporate environmental crimes. Therefore, it is essential to consider the application of the doctrine of strict liability in cases of environmental pollution, especially in waste dumping incidents. The implementation of strict liability for corporations in the prosecution of environmental criminal acts, such as the dumping of toxic hazardous waste, eliminates the need to prove wrongdoing, whether intentional or negligent, including the motive behind the corporation’s actions. Keywords: Law, Corporation, Dumping, Waste, Toxic Hazardous Materials, Environment Abstrak. Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates how AI-based personalization, marketing analytics capability, and perceived privacy assurance influence customer loyalty in social commerce and whether these effects operate through perceived value and customer satisfaction. Research Methodology: A cross-sectional online survey was administered to 510 active social commerce users in South Sulawesi, Indonesia, to collect data. The hypothesized relationships and mediation effects were examined using PLS-SEM. Results: AI-based personalization significantly increased customer satisfaction and loyalty but had no significant effect on perceived value. Marketing analytics capability significantly strengthens perceived value; however, it has no significant direct effect on satisfaction or loyalty. Perceived privacy assurance positively affects perceived value, satisfaction, and loyalty. Both perceived value and customer satisfaction significantly enhance the loyalty. The mediation results indicate that marketing analytics capabilities indirectly strengthen loyalty via perceived value, whereas privacy assurance strengthens loyalty via both perceived value and customer satisfaction. AI-based personalization primarily drives loyalty through customer satisfaction. Conclusions: Customer loyalty in AI-enabled commerce is reinforced through complementary cognitive and affective pathways. Limitations: The findings are constrained by the cross-sectional design, self-reported data, and single-region sample. In addition, the privacy construct reflects assurance-oriented perceptions rather than anxiety. Contributions: This study clarifies the distinct roles and indirect mechanisms through which personalization, analytics capabilities, and privacy perceptions shape loyalty in social commerce.
