Abstract

The dynamic development of regulations in Indonesia, particularly in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), demands preparedness from future law enforcers, including prospective advocates. Prospective advocates in Tasikmalaya, as part of the next generation of legal professionals, require a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of IPR to contribute to creating legal certainty and fostering innovation in the digital era. The aim of this community service program is to enhance the general understanding and practical capacity of prospective advocates in Tasikmalaya regarding IPR through an intensive online training program. The partners in this activity were a number of prospective advocates undergoing the Special Education for Advocate Profession (Pendidikan Khusus Profesi Advokat - PKPA). The methods used included literature study for material preparation, initial needs assessment, interactive online training via Zoom, group discussions, collaborative case analysis using Google Docs, and evaluation through pre-tests, post-tests, and legal document drafting projects. The training results showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding, with the average post-test score (82.4) far exceeding the pre-test (58.5), reflecting a 40.9% increase in comprehension. Participants also demonstrated improved practical skills in drafting legal opinions and electronic lawsuit drafts. The satisfaction survey recorded a score of 4.6 out of 5. This program successfully equipped prospective advocates with a strong and relevant IPR foundation, which is expected to improve the quality of legal services and IPR enforcement in Indonesia in the future. This activity underscores the importance of continuous IPR education from an early stage in the legal profession curriculum.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan literasi pertambangan masyarakat Desa Petudua, Kabupaten Kolaka, melalui program sosialisasi yang berfokus pada penambangan pasir kuarsa. Pasir kuarsa merupakan mineral sedimen yang didominasi oleh silika (SiO₂) dan memiliki peran penting dalam berbagai industri, seperti konstruksi, pembuatan kaca, refraktori, hingga pengecoran logam. Meskipun memiliki nilai ekonomi yang tinggi, pemahaman masyarakat mengenai keberadaan endapan pasir kuarsa, prosedur penambangan yang benar, dasar hukum pertambangan, serta potensi dampak lingkungan masih sangat terbatas. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan sosialisasi ini dirancang untuk memberikan informasi ilmiah yang mudah dipahami, meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat, serta mendorong pengelolaan sumber daya alam secara bertanggung jawab. Pelaksanaan kegiatan dilakukan oleh dosen dan mahasiswa Teknik Pertambangan Fakultas Sains dan Teknologi Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu pengecekan potensi endapan pasir kuarsa, koordinasi dengan aparat desa, persiapan materi dan logistik, hingga penyampaian materi yang dilanjutkan dengan sesi diskusi interaktif. Peserta kegiatan meliputi aparat desa, masyarakat lokal, serta mahasiswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi dari masyarakat, yang tercermin dari banyaknya pertanyaan mengenai regulasi penambangan, potensi cadangan, serta isu lingkungan yang mungkin timbul akibat aktivitas pertambangan. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan wawasan dan pemahaman masyarakat terkait sumber daya pasir kuarsa dan tata kelola penambangan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini membuka peluang untuk melaksanakan program lanjutan, seperti pelatihan pemetaan geologi, analisis laboratorium terhadap karakteristik pasir kuarsa, serta penguatan kapasitas masyarakat dalam pengelolaan lingkungan. Program lanjutan tersebut diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kemampuan teknis dan pemahaman masyarakat dalam mengoptimalkan potensi mineral secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Learning for children with special needs requires instructional approaches that can accommodate the diversity of students’ characteristics, potentials, and learning needs. One relevant approach is strength-based individual learning, which is designed by building on students’ potentials and strengths. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of strength-based individual learning as a strategy to enhance the engagement and independence of children with special needs at SLB Negeri Sumenep. This research employed a qualitative approach using Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The research subjects consisted of three students with special needs who had different types of learning barriers. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis was carried out qualitatively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of strength-based individual learning significantly increased students’ learning engagement, as indicated by improvements in attention, active participation, and emotional involvement during the learning process. In addition, students’ learning independence also improved, as evidenced by reduced dependence on teacher assistance and increased ability to complete tasks independently. These findings indicate that strength-based individual learning is an effective and applicable strategy for improving the quality of education for children with special needs in special schools.

Abstract

Permintaan material tubing di sektor minyak dan gas adalah elemen penting yang secara langsung berpengaruh pada kelancaran proses produksi. Tubing berfungsi sebagai saluran utama untuk mengalirkan fluida dari reservoir ke permukaan, sehingga keterlambatan dalam mendapatkan komponen ini bisa mengganggu proses pengeboran dan produksi. Salah satu kendala utama dalam pengelolaan rantai pasok adalah ketidakpastian dalam fluktuasi permintaan material, terutama dalam kondisi operasional yang berubah-ubah seperti yang dialami oleh PT Pertamina EP Asset-1 Field Jambi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan metode peramalan yang dapat secara tepat memperkirakan permintaan di masa mendatang untuk mendukung keputusan dalam pengadaan dan pengelolaan stok. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan meramalkan permintaan material tubing dengan menggunakan metode Single Exponential Smoothing (SES), yang dikenal efektif untuk data yang tidak memiliki tren dan tidak musiman. Data yang dianalisis adalah permintaan tubing dari tahun 2015 hingga 2023. Dua nilai smoothing (dan ) diuji untuk menilai akurasi model dengan menggunakan indikator Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), dan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai menghasilkan tingkat akurasi yang superior dengan MAD sebesar 479,55, MSE sebesar 614. 854,49 dan MAPE sebesar 16,8%. Temuan tersebut menggambarkan bahwa metode SES dapat berfungsi sebagai alat yang efektif untuk mendukung efisiensi pengadaan material, pengendalian persediaan, serta pengambilan keputusan strategis dalam sistem logistik perusahaan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Paradox of Sustainable Tourism Development in Sebangau National Park (a case study in Kereng Bangkirai). Using a qualitative approach and case study design, data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results show an imbalance between the objectives of sustainable tourism development and their implementation in the field. Key findings point to several critical issues, including a lack of clarity regarding the Government Decree (KTT) from the Tourism Management Unit, which leads to weak institutional governance, ineffective communication and coordination between the government and local communities, limited supporting infrastructure, and underutilization of developed facilities. Furthermore, high kiosk rental costs and a lack of tourism promotion have reduced the effectiveness of local economic empowerment. This condition has resulted in decreased community participation in destination management. This study offers solutions by strengthening collaborative governance, improving coordination between stakeholders, and optimizing the roles of the community and government to achieve sustainable, participatory, and equitable tourism development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) program for beneficiaries in Menteng Village, Jekan Raya District, Palangka Raya City. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis focuses on targeting accuracy, data verification and validation, and the timeliness of aid distribution.The results show that the BLT program has been relatively effective in reducing the economic burden of low-income communities. The use of a decile-based data system and the involvement of neighborhood units (RT) in verification contribute to improved targeting. However, challenges such as data inconsistencies, duplicate beneficiaries, and limited evaluation remain. From a sharia perspective, the program aligns with the principles of justice (‘adl) and public welfare (maslahah). Nevertheless, strengthening transparency, accountability, and data validation is necessary to ensure fair and sustainable distribution in accordance with Islamic economic principles.
