Abstract

The rapid development of social media, particularly Instagram, has transformed consumers’ information-seeking behavior and purchasing decision processes, making information quality in digital catalogs a crucial factor in visual-based marketing. However, studies examining information quality in Instagram-based digital catalogs for highly customized products remain limited. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the quality of digital catalog information and purchasing decisions on the @santflowersbouquet account. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed, involving 95 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through validity, reliability, and Spearman’s Rank correlation tests. The results indicate that information quality is categorized as high, with accuracy (92.6%) and timeliness (86.3%) as the dominant indicators. Purchasing decisions are also in the high category, with the time of purchase indicator reaching 96.8%. The correlation test shows a positive and significant relationship with a coefficient of 0.621 (p<0.001), indicating a strong association. These findings suggest that improving the quality of digital catalog information significantly contributes to enhancing purchasing decisions. Therefore, businesses are encouraged to optimize information quality as part of their digital marketing communication strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital communication strategy implemented by the Democratic Party Faction of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) in disseminating public information through the Instagram platform @fpd_dpr. The study used a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with the media team, experts, and related parties in social media management. The results of the study indicate that Instagram is utilized as the main medium for political communication, performance transparency, and interaction with the public. The communication strategy implemented includes value proposition, segmentation, targeting, positioning (STP), operational and delivery processes, and measurement and feedback. The content is designed visually, concisely, informatively, and based on current issues to attract the attention of the audience, especially the younger generation who actively use social media. The effectiveness evaluation strategy is carried out through public engagement indicators, such as likes, comments, views, and audience responses to posts. Overall, the implemented digital communication strategy is considered quite effective in increasing public participation and expanding the reach of information, although it still faces challenges in adapting to the ever-changing dynamics of social media development.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the digital communication strategy implemented by the Jakarta Communication, Informatics, and Statistics Office (Diskominfotik) in the dissemination of public information through the @katakotajakarta Instagram account. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of the study show that there is a shift in communication patterns from one direction to a more interactive two-way, characterized by the use of visual content, the use of casual language, and systematic content planning. The use of the Reels feature has proven to be effective in increasing audience reach, especially from non-followers. However, the challenges faced include fluctuations in engagement and the risk of information overload that can reduce the effectiveness of communication. This study concludes that adaptive and data-based digital communication strategies are able to increase the effectiveness of public communication and strengthen the relationship between the government and the community. These findings provide practical implications for the management of public communication in the digital era, especially in utilizing social media as an interactive means that support transparency and public participation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis proses dan strategi pengelolaan akun Instagram @dprd.kotabogor sebagai sarana informasi publik oleh Humas DPRD Kota Bogor serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi pelaksanaannya. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa partisipasi aktif, observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi literatur yang dilaksanakan di Sekretariat DPRD Kota Bogor selama periode Januari hingga Mei 2026. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan akun Instagram dilakukan secara terpusat oleh Divisi Hubungan Masyarakat dan Protokol melalui tahapan terstruktur meliputi perencanaan konten, produksi materi, verifikasi informasi, publikasi, dan evaluasi berbasis Instagram Insight. Data insight menunjukkan 307.138 tayangan dengan 57,4% audiens berasal dari non-pengikut, mengindikasikan potensi jangkauan yang luas. Kendala utama meliputi keterbatasan sumber daya manusia, padatnya agenda kegiatan, dan perubahan algoritma platform. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa efektivitas akun Instagram DPRD Kota Bogor bersifat tidak merata: relatif kuat pada dimensi jangkauan (reach effectiveness), terbatas pada dimensi keterlibatan aktif (interaction effectiveness), dan belum optimal pada dimensi transparansi substantif (substantive transparency). Kondisi ini bersumber dari structural bias toward documentation kecenderungan sistemik mendokumentasikan kegiatan ketimbang menjelaskan substansi dan dampak kebijakan yang dipengaruhi oleh sensitivitas politik kelembagaan, keterbatasan kapasitas tim, dan karakter birokrasi legislatif. Pengembangan diperlukan pada aspek konten edukatif-deliberatif, interaksi dua arah, dan kerangka evaluasi berbasis pemahaman publik.
