Abstract

Abstract Agriculture is an economic sector that plays an important role in supporting the sustainability of human life, because farmers are the main actors in providing food and guaranteeing national food security. However, farmers' income is often not commensurate with the hard work and risks they face. Meanwhile, the results from the agricultural sector can also be used as industrial raw materials and a source of food, which makes this sector increasingly important, covering social, economic, environmental and institutional components and is expected to become a driver of economic sectors in rural economic development. The problem in this research is analyzing the onion farmers' income from the variables of price, labor, production and land area. The data used is primary data taken from 33 onion farmers from 4 jorong in Nagari Sirukam. The method used is multiple regression analysis. Temporary research results show that prices and production results have a positive and significant effect on onion farmers' income, meaning that if prices rise and production results increase, then onion farmers' income will increase. However, labor and land area are not significant. Keywords : pendapatan petani bawang, harga, luas lahan, pembangunan ekonomi pedesaan

Abstract

This study explores the intricate intersection of sustainability development and green public relations (PR) within corporate social responsibility (CSR). Despite significant technological advancements in contemporary society, numerous organisations still face challenges in effectively implementing their CSR efforts, thereby impacting their social credibility. The author investigate the case of Theranos, a well-known company that exemplified failure in this domain, using VOSviewer as an analytical tool. Theranos serves as a singular case study for our analysis. Its downfall serves as a cautionary tale, highlighting the risks associated with companies that exploit sustainable development solely for their ambitious goals. Our study underscores the importance of integrating sustainable practices into company operations and viewing sustainability as an integral component rather than merely acknowledging its value superficially. This article examines moral and ethical concerns and best practices in green public relations, offering insights into the challenges organisations face in pursuing genuine sustainability and social responsibility.

Abstract

In the modern era, society's dependence on technology, particularly the internet, has brought significant changes in lifestyle, including shopping behavior. E-commerce, as a form of electronic commerce, is rapidly evolving as a mechanism for exchanging goods and services over the internet. This study aims to measure the influence of brand ambassadors and the "Gratis Ongkir" (Free Shipping) tagline of Shopee on the purchasing decisions of STIE Sakti Alam Kerinci students. The research results indicate a relatively low impact of both factors, with a Coefficient of Determination value of 14.3%. Despite being low, this value provides an initial overview of the extent to which the model can explain variations in students' purchasing decisions. The analysis reveals that the partial influence of brand ambassadors on purchasing decisions is 0.41%, while the "Gratis Ongkir" tagline has an impact of 0.34%. Although these figures are relatively low, it is important to note that low values do not necessarily reflect insignificance. The reduced impact could be influenced by complex factors and variables not measured in the study. The Coefficient of Determination value of 14.3% indicates that the constructed model can explain a small portion of the variation in purchasing decisions among STIE Sakti Alam Kerinci students.

Abstract

AbstractHuman development is an important indicator of a country's progress and quality (Harahap, 2019). The concept of human development encompasses essential components, such as equal access to economic and political resources, increased productivity to boost economic growth, and community empowerment. This study aims to analyze the influence of regional original revenue, balancing funds, the education sector budget, and the health sector budget on the human development index in West Sumatra for the 2019–2023 period. The research method uses panel data regression with secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), the Ministry of Finance, and related agencies. The results of the study indicate that PAD and the Education Sector Budget have a positive and significant effect on the Human Development Index (HDI), while the Balancing Fund has a significant but negative effect, and the health sector budget has a negative but insignificant effect. Simultaneously, all four variables influence the HDI. These findings indicate that optimally managed increases in PAD and the education budget will be effective in promoting human development, while the Balancing Fund and health budget have not been implemented effectively. Keywords: Human Development Index, Regional Original Income, Balancing Fund, Education and Health Budgets AbstrakPembangunan manusia merupakan indikator penting kemajuan suatu negara yang berkualitas (Harahap, 2019). Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the impact of inflation and Rural Banks' (BPR) performance—that is, their assets, credit, and third-party funding—on Indonesia's economy. For the years 2014–2020, panel data regression using a fixed effect model approach is the technique employed. Secondary data from the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Central Statistics Agency (BPS), and other relevant organizations were used in this investigation. The findings indicated, in part, that the credit variable had a significant coefficient value of 0.119, the inflation variable had a significant coefficient value of -0.033, the asset variable had a significant coefficient value of -0.006, and the third party fund variable had an insignificant coefficient value of 0.064. At the same time demonstrating how the variables of assets, third-party funding credit, and inflation all influence Indonesia's economic variables at the same time. A coefficient of determination of 0.99 is attained. Then, these findings demonstrate that the variables of inflation, assets, credit, and third-party funds account for 99 percent of the variation in economic variables' growth and fall, with other factors outside the model influencing the remaining 1%.
