Abstract

The lack of effectiveness of teacher assessment medium utilized in classroom learning sparked this research. In today's world, learning cannot be isolated from evaluation and assessment. Several assessment-related media have evolved as a result of changing times and the advancement of existing technical capabilities. The goal of this research is to look into KAHOOT media games as an innovation in assessing Arabic language acquisition. The literature method was used in this investigation. According to the findings of this study, KAHOOT is the answer to all of today's sophistication. The use of KAHOOT media in Arabic language instruction at Ma'had IIT Rabbani Bengkulu has a favorable effect on students and increases their motivation to study Arabic more actively. It is intended that this post will serve as an alternative option for assessing learning, particularly Arabic learning.

Abstract

School accreditation is an effort to guarantee school quality and an effort to achieve the expected quality of education and the results are realized in the form of recognition and suitability rankings issued by the National School/Madrasah Accreditation Board. This research aims to determine and describe the implementation of school accreditation in improving the quality of education in Islamic Education Institutions by using school accreditation mechanisms and accreditation components. This research method uses library research methods which are related to library data collection methods. The data collection technique in this research uses documentation and the data analysis technique for this research uses critical analysis, where this analysis is critical in nature, generally based on views or values. certain things that the researcher believes are related to the problem of improving the quality of education through documents related to the problem that the researcher is studying. The results of this research are that accreditation is an effort to improve the quality of education in educational units. One of the objectives of implementing accreditation is to map the quality of education based on the National Education Standards (SNP) which consists of 8 SNPs so that there is unity and equality of education throughout the territory of the Republic of Indonesia. By implementing the accreditation concept, education quality mapping and education quality improvement plans can be carried out.

Abstract

This study presents a pollen record of the purported Holocene Alluvium in Bangka Island, Indonesia. This alluvial unit’s age and stratigraphic position have been disputed, and this pollen study is expected to provide crucial evidence on the matter. The pollen content is also likely to reveal the vegetation landscape and environment of the samples, further enhancing our understanding of the area. Three samples were taken from outcrops at three different points of the alluvial deposit, and the samples were rich in pollen and spores. We identified 54 pollen and 12 spore taxa. The pollen assemblages suggest that the samples were deposited in an open forest environment of the evolving disturbed heath forest ecosystem. Several cultivated plant pollens indicate that the samples were deposited in modern times. Abstract

Background: Caregivers of individuals with schizophrenia often experience significant psychological and emotional challenges, including self-stigma and caregiver burden. Understanding these phenomena is essential to develop supportive interventions. Objective: This study aimed to examine the levels of self-stigma and caregiver burden among caregivers of persons with schizophrenia living in the community and to explore the relationship between these two variables. Methods: A cross-sectional study design was employed involving 100 caregivers selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using validated self-report questionnaires: the Self-Stigma of Family Members Scale (SSFS) and the Zarit Burden Interview (ZBI). Descriptive statistics and Pearson correlation analysis were conducted to assess the relationship between self-stigma and caregiver burden. Results: The findings indicated that a majority of caregivers experienced moderate to high levels of both self-stigma and caregiver burden. A significant positive correlation was found between self-stigma and caregiver burden (p < 0.01), indicating that higher levels of self-stigma were associated with greater caregiver burden. Conclusion: Self-stigma contributes to the burden experienced by caregivers of individuals with schizophrenia in the community. Interventions aimed at reducing stigma may help alleviate the psychological burden among caregivers and improve their well-being.

Abstract

Purpose: The major challenges of vaccination programs are associated with the vaccine cold chain management in primary health centers that must be evaluated. This paper discusses how vaccine cold chain management can address the challenges of vaccination programs in primary health centers. Specifically, it examines how the vaccine chain is managed. Methods: The design of this observational study was cross-sectional. Evaluations assessed in this study include input aspects, output aspects, process aspects, and outcome aspects of vaccine chain management. Observation methods and direct interviews with the evaluated vaccine chain staff collected primary data. Results: Management of the vaccine chain has been carried out properly with the support of human resources or immunization personnel who are in accordance with their competence, based on research results, the management staff are diploma graduates in nursing and midwifery. The defrosting process is carried out for a certain period, as well as using vaccine carriers and ice flasks, which are still good for vaccine distribution. It is very important to pay attention to the supply of the number and type of vaccines for the next month's needs at the public health center. Conclusion: The three key factors that guide the vaccine cold chain are educated vaccine control staff, vaccine storage, and delivery equipment, and efficient vaccine control procedures.

Abstract

Every Muslim is required to believe that Islam is the true religion. Even though, the prohibition against demeaning other religions has to be carried out. Moreover, it hurts the adherents of other religions outside Islam. The humiliate attitude towards other religions and faith actually shows that Islam is not a noble religion. Whereas the command of Allah SWT in the Qur’an and the spirit brought by the prophet Muhammad SAW is rahmatan lil ‘alamin (the mercy for the whole world).Muslims make the prophet Muhammad SAW as the role model in social life especially in religion. He was the role model of a leader who had charismatic character and able to made peaceful and pleasant feelings for people he led even though they had different faith. This shows that there is no compulsion in having religion. People are free to choose their religion and faith which means that there is no arrogance in theology.In theology, many groups emerged, and each of them brought their own arguments. However the clear concept in Islam’s view is the theology which is based on the genuineness of teachings brought by the Prophets. So, no wonder if all emerged groups claimed that their opinion was the most correct arguments, that is the Ahlu Sunnah Waljama’ah.

Abstract

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) menyatakan bahwa ada empat kompetensi yang selanjutnya disebut kompetensi transformatif, yaitu memiliki pengetahuan, sikap, keterampilan, dan nilai-nilai. Kompetensi transformatif sangat mendukung visi pendidikan Indonesia. Katalis yang dibutuhkan untuk mewujudkan visi tersebut adalah dengan Sekolah Penggerak. SMAN 9 Tasikmalaya belum menjadi Sekolah Penggerak hingga program Sekolah Penggerak Angkatan 3 Tahun 2022. IKM Mandiri Belajar oleh SMAN 9 Tasikmalaya dapat didukung melalui kolaborasi dengan dosen LPTK. Dosen LPTK dapat berpartisipasi aktif dalam program Sekolah Penggerak melalui kolaborasi dengan guru di sekolah untuk melakukan akselerasi Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka. Kolaborasi tersebut dapat memanfaatkan Lesson Study melalui kemitraan yang saling menguntungkan. Pelatihan Lesson Study berbasis sekolah di SMAN 9 Tasikmalaya ini bertujuan untuk mengakselerasi Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka melalui kemitraan dosen LTPK dengan guru di sekolah berbasis Lesson Study. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu workshop dengan tema pelatihan Lesson Study berbasis sekolah. Hasil dari pengabdian melalui kegiatan workshop ini diketahui bahwa Lesson Study bagi ketua MGMP semua mata pelajaran di SMAN 9 Tasikmalaya sangat setuju untuk dilaksanakannya kegiatan Lesson Study dan sangat setuju bahwa kolaborasi merupakan model peningkatan kompetensi dan menciptakan pembelajaran berkualitas. Artinya, dosen LPTK dan guru di SMAN 9 Tasikmalaya dapat membentuk komunitas belajar untuk mengakselerasi IKM dan mengembangkan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Abstract

Background: Schizophrenia is one mental illness type. Family interactions are impacted by this disease because it leads individuals to behave erratically. Family caregivers will be less able to care for patients because of the strain this condition puts on them. The researchers at Dr. Amino Gondohutomo Hospital in Central Java Province set out to find out how family caregivers' capacity to care for their loved ones with schizophrenia correlated with their own subjective burdens. Methods: Using a cross-sectional method and a purposive sample technique, this study utilized a quantitative correlational type with a maximum of 38 respondents. A family burden questionnaire and the ability to care for one's family using the Spearman Rank test were the research instruments used. Results: The Spearman Rank test results reveal a significant value of 0.008 <0.05 between the objective load of the family and the ability to care for the family, and a unidirectional correlation coefficient value of -0.427 between the two variables. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship, and the higher the perceived burden, the worse the family's ability to care. It is recommended to provide support and resources to families to alleviate their perceived burden, thereby enhancing their ability to provide effective care

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang fenomena perkembangan paham intoleransi khususnya dalam beragama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari masukan dan menggambarkan fenomena paham intoleransi yang sudah marak terjadi di Indonesia khusunya bagi generasi milineal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif (qualitative method), yaitu  kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif dan penelitian lapangan (field research), di mana peneliti melakukan diskripsi. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 8 Mahasiswa Pascasarjana dari berbagai konsentrasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang mencari pengertian atau definisi pengertian yang relevan dengan suatu fenomena  dalam konteks tertentu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan moderasi beragama sangat penting diterapkan bagi generasi milenal, karena generasi milenial adalah generasi yang akan mewarnai bangsa Indonesia mendatang.   This article discusses the phenomenon of the growth of intolerance, especially in religious beliefs. The study aims to seek insights and depict the widespread phenomenon of intolerant ideologies in Indonesia, particularly among the millennial generation. The research employs a qualitative-method approach, combining qualitative descriptive methods with field research, where the researcher provides descriptions. Data collection in this study involves observation and interviews. The subjects of this study are eight postgraduate students from various concentrations. This is a qualitative research study, focusing on understanding or defining meanings relevant to a phenomenon in a specific context. The study concludes that education in religious moderation is crucial for the millennial generation, as they are the ones who will shape the future of Indonesia.

Abstract

Low learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) are often associated with students’ lack of motivation and engagement during the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effect of using interactive PowerPoint media on improving students’ learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach through a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles. The subjects consisted of 22 fourth-grade elementary students. Data were collected using learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test), observation sheets, and teacher interviews. The findings revealed a substantial enhancement in students’ learning outcomes, with the percentage of learning mastery rising from 27.27% in the pre-cycle to 63.64% after implementing interactive PowerPoint media. The Product Moment correlation test showed a calculated r value of 0.964, exceeding the r table value of 0.423, while the t-test yielded a calculated t value of 16.165, greater than the t table value of 1.717, which signifies a strong and significant correlation between the use of interactive PowerPoint media and students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Education (PAI). The determination test also revealed that 92% of the improvement in learning outcomes was influenced by the use of interactive PowerPoint, while 8% was affected by other factors. Therefore, the use of interactive PowerPoint has been proven to serve as an effective instructional medium for improving students’ comprehension, motivation, and participation in Islamic Religious Education.
