Abstract

Artikel ini membahas tentang fenomena perkembangan paham intoleransi khususnya dalam beragama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari masukan dan menggambarkan fenomena paham intoleransi yang sudah marak terjadi di Indonesia khusunya bagi generasi milineal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif (qualitative method), yaitu  kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif dan penelitian lapangan (field research), di mana peneliti melakukan diskripsi. Pengambilan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan wawancara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 8 Mahasiswa Pascasarjana dari berbagai konsentrasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif, yaitu penelitian yang mencari pengertian atau definisi pengertian yang relevan dengan suatu fenomena  dalam konteks tertentu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendidikan moderasi beragama sangat penting diterapkan bagi generasi milenal, karena generasi milenial adalah generasi yang akan mewarnai bangsa Indonesia mendatang.   This article discusses the phenomenon of the growth of intolerance, especially in religious beliefs. The study aims to seek insights and depict the widespread phenomenon of intolerant ideologies in Indonesia, particularly among the millennial generation. The research employs a qualitative-method approach, combining qualitative descriptive methods with field research, where the researcher provides descriptions. Data collection in this study involves observation and interviews. The subjects of this study are eight postgraduate students from various concentrations. This is a qualitative research study, focusing on understanding or defining meanings relevant to a phenomenon in a specific context. The study concludes that education in religious moderation is crucial for the millennial generation, as they are the ones who will shape the future of Indonesia.

Abstract

Low learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) are often associated with students’ lack of motivation and engagement during the learning process. This study aims to analyze the effect of using interactive PowerPoint media on improving students’ learning outcomes. The research employed a quantitative approach through a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles. The subjects consisted of 22 fourth-grade elementary students. Data were collected using learning outcome tests (pre-test and post-test), observation sheets, and teacher interviews. The findings revealed a substantial enhancement in students’ learning outcomes, with the percentage of learning mastery rising from 27.27% in the pre-cycle to 63.64% after implementing interactive PowerPoint media. The Product Moment correlation test showed a calculated r value of 0.964, exceeding the r table value of 0.423, while the t-test yielded a calculated t value of 16.165, greater than the t table value of 1.717, which signifies a strong and significant correlation between the use of interactive PowerPoint media and students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Education (PAI). The determination test also revealed that 92% of the improvement in learning outcomes was influenced by the use of interactive PowerPoint, while 8% was affected by other factors. Therefore, the use of interactive PowerPoint has been proven to serve as an effective instructional medium for improving students’ comprehension, motivation, and participation in Islamic Religious Education.

Abstract

Efektivitas Ice Breaking Terhadap Keaktifan Siswa Pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Arab Kelas VIII Mts. Muhammadiyah 25 Brondong. Penelitian ini melatarbelakangi dari Permasalahan non kebahasaan yaitu seperti motivasi dan minat belajar siswa yang rendah. Kejenuhan belajar yang dialami peserta didik ditandai dengan peserta didik kurang antusiasme dan kurang bersemangat dalam mengikuti pelajaran di kelas.dan juga Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam pelajaran Bahasa Arab yaitu permasalahan kebahasaan yang rumit, seperti siswa mengalami kebingungan menerjemahkan kata dalam teks, pengucapan huruf yang sukar ,serta mengalami kesulitan dalam praktek percakapan.oleh karena itu pendidik harus bias menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif dan menyenangkan salah satunya menggunakan Ice breaking. Secara bahasa Ice breaking/penyegaran berarti pemecah es. Sehingga secara istilah Ice breaking memiliki arti menghidupkan kembali suasana yang awalnya kaku/dingin menjadi bergembira.Dengan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan setiap peserta didik tidak merasa jenuh dan dengan mudah mereka menerima apa yang disampaikan oleh guru. The Effectiveness of Ice Breaking on Student Activeness in Arabic Subjects of Class VIII Mts. Muhammadiyah 25 Brondong. This research is based on non-linguistic problems, such as low student motivation and interest in learning. The boredom of learning experienced by students is characterized by students lacking enthusiasm and lack of enthusiasm in following lessons in class. and also the problems faced in Arabic lessons are complicated linguistic problems, such as students experiencing confusion in translating words in texts, difficult pronunciation of letters, and experiencing difficulties in conversation practice. therefore educators must be able to create active and enjoyable learning, one of which is using Ice breaking. In terms of language, Ice breaking/refreshment means ice breaker. So in terms of Ice breaking means reviving the atmosphere that was initially stiff/cold to be joyful. With enjoyable learning, each student does not feel bored and they easily accept what is conveyed by the teacher.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model on students' communication skills in biology learning for tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis. The research employs a quasi-experimental method using a matched-only posttest-only control group design. The population consists of all tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 3 Ciamis for the 2023/2024 academic year, totaling 376 students across 11 classes. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique, with class X-1 assigned as the experimental group and class X-2 as the control group. The research instrument used is a communication skills test comprising eight descriptive questions. Data analysis was conducted using an independent sample t-test. The results indicate that the Problem-Based Learning model significantly influences students' communication skills in biology learning in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Morphologycal characterstic both descriptive and morphometric, like corralite diameter, corralite shape, the presence or absence of paliform lobe, colonies surface form, and septa teeth were the key for determining the Favites coral species characters, but these character are often influenced by environmental factors. In this studi will be try to reconstructed phylogeny tree of Favites coral‟s (Favites abdita, F. benattae, F. chinensis, F. flexuosa, F. halicora, and F. paraflexuosa). The speciment collected from Spermonde Archipelago. Phylogeny tree was reconstructed based on the morphological characters (descriptive and morphometric) using UPGMA (Unweighted Pair Group Method with Arithmetic Mean) Methood on PAUP 4.0 software. The result showed the grouping of taxa for each species. However, if only using morphometric character in preparing the taxa group, it will not show the clear differences among species. This caused by the morphometric characters have the highest plasticity and influenced by environmental factors, if compared with the descriptive character.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran pelatih terhadap pembentukan karakter, sbar dan disiplin siswa dan hambatan yang dialami pelatih saat prosesnya. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. penelitian dilakukan di pondok Pesantren Tahfidzul Qur'an Rohullah blimbing Paciran, yang melibatkan 4 pelatih pencak silat PSHT (persaudaraan setia hati terate), 8 siswa dan pengurus pondok. Data primer dan sekunder dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Pelatih memiliki peran penting dalam proses latihan pencak silat hal ini ditujukan dengan berbagai bentuk tindakan. Dalam penelitian ini terdapat 4 bentuk perhatian yang dilakukan pelatih untuk membentuk karakter, sabar dan disiplin siswanya. Yaitu memberi pendidikan, memberi bimbingan dan membantu kesulitan, memberi penghargaan dan hukuman serta memberi tauladan. Sedangkan kendala yang dialami pelatih antara lain: perbedaan kemampuan siswa, sifat meremehkan siswa, kurangnya kesadaran peran pelatih dan kesibukan pelatih. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pelatih memiliki peran besar terhadap pembentukan karakter, sabar dan disiplin siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan peran pelatih yang dilakukan dengan maksimal sehingga membentuk dapat membentuk siswa yang berkarakter, sabar dan disiplin.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Diskriminasi terhadap perempuan masih sangat kuat, tidak hanya dialami secara langsung, tetapi juga banyak dijumpai dalam karya sastra. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana posisi perempuan dalam sebuah karya sastra yaitu dalam novel “Perempuan yang Menangis kepada Bulan Hitam” karya Dian Purnomo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis wacana kritis (AWK) model Sara Mills. Fokusnya pada wacana tentang tokoh perempuan dan kedudukan subyek-obyek serta penulis-pembaca dalam novel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penulis memposisikan perempuan sebagai subyek dalam novel tersebut karena Magi mendefinisikan dan menampilkan dirinya dalam teks, serta bebas mengungkapkan kemarahannya sendiri. Namun perempuan dalam novel ini juga menempati posisi obyek. Ia selalu menjadi sasaran kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh laki-laki, budaya dan keluarganya hingga ia memutuskan untuk memberontak terhadap segala sesuatu yang menindasnya. Dengan cara ini, peran dan relasi gender dalam novel dapat muncul dengan sendirinya dan juga dapat memainkan peran ganda. Pesan tentang perlawanan perempuan secara gamblang penulis sampaikan melalui narasi Magi. Ia memberikan ruang untuk mengekspresikan identitasnya dan menolak menjadi korban diam untuk mengajak pembaca terlibat aktif dalam penafsiran teks dan merefleksikan implikasi kekuasaan dan gender yang tercermin dalam novel serta menilai dampaknya terhadap kehidupan sehari-hari. KATA KUNCI: AWK; Sara Mills; karya sastra; novel; feminis >  PATRIARCHAL CULTURE AND WOMAN’S REBELLION (SARA MILLS’ CRITICAL DISCOURSE ANALYSIS)   ABSTRACT: Discriminations against women are still very strong, not only experienced directly, they are also often found in literary works. This study aims to find out how women are positioned in a literary, namely in the “Perempuan yang Menangis kepada Bulan Hitam” novel by Dian Purnomo. This study is qualitative-descriptive. The data analysis technique used in this study is the Sara Mills model of Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA). It focuses on discourse about female characters and the position of subject-object and writer-reader in the novel. The results of this study show that the author positions women as subject in the novel because Magi defines and presents herself in the text, and she freely expresses her own anger. However, woman in this novel also occupy an object position. She was always the object of violence perpetrated by men, culture, and her own family until she decided to rebel against everything that oppressed her. In this way, gender roles and relations in the novel can present themselves and can play multiple roles. The author clearly conveys a message about women’s resistance through Magi’s narrative. She gives her space to express her own identity and refuses to be a silent victim to invite readers to actively engage in the interpretation of the text and reflect on the implications of power and gender reflected in the novel and assess their impact on everyday life.
