Abstract

Taman Bacaan Masyarakat is a government program to increase public reading, especially in Surabaya. Usually this Taman Bacaan Masyarakat is located in Kampung. The room used is the existing space in the village that can also mix with the hall. To improve the government has a program to make the villages in Surabaya became a village of literacy. The purpose of this paper is to design a furniture to support government programs so that it can be used in villages that have Taman Bacaan Masyarakat. The research method used is qualitative method. Through research using qualitative methods, it is known that the contents of the multifunctional bookshelf. From the results of the research, will be designed multifunction bookcase in the form of prototype that combines several functions in one unit. Equipped with promotional media, cost analysis designs to market reaction surveys. Thus, the use of this bookshelf supports the efficiency of space usage.

Abstract

Abstract - Jewelry today is a secondary requirement in the field of fashion, it becomes an opportunity for jewelry archipelago to further develop and promote business. Similarly for Bali, as one of the main tourist destinations in Indonesia, so many domestic and foreign tourists who come to do the holidays. Jewelry itself in Bali is very easy to find but for the existing designs in the community is a traditional design and do not keep up with the times, therefore I take the opportunity in the modern jewelry sector that still uses the symbol or characteristic of Bali itself like frangipani Bali. Flowers used by the Hindu people in prayer. The purpose of this design to lift Balinese frangipani flowers become more iconic and known as inspiration jewelry design that is universal. "Modern Art Nouveau Jewelry" is a prototype that is themed with art nouveau design style that is more modern to produce output that is ready product in launching.

Abstract

Abstrak Banyaknya pelaku bisnis yang mencoba merambah bisnis kuliner menyebabkan persaingan antar pelaku bisnis kuliner cukup tinggi khusunya di Royal Plaza Surabaya. UKM Gerobak Pispot harus memiliki strategi bisnis yang tepat agar dapat bersaing dengan para kompetitor. Pertama dilakukan analisis kompetitif untuk mengetahui struktur industri dan analisis SWOT untuk mengetahui kondisi internal dan eksternal perusahaan. Tahap input pada strategi bisnis meliputi EFEM, IFEM, dan CPM. Total nilai tertimbang pada EFEM dan IFEM adalah 2,91 dan 2,62, sedangkan total nilai pada hasil CPM sebesar 2,99. Tahap pencocokan menggunakan TOWS matriks, matriks IE, dan GSM. Matriks IE didapatkan perusahaan berada pada bagian V yaitu pertahankan dan pelihara, sedangkan GSM tergolong kuadran I dimana pertumbuhan pasar cepat dan posisi pesaing yang kuat. Tahap keputusan menggunakan QSPM dan didapatkan total nilai daya tarik paling tinggi adalah strategi penetrasi pasar dengan nilai 6,03. Strategi usulan tersebut diimplementasikan kepada produk dari UKM Gerobak Pispot. Dalam penelitian ini strategi pemasaran yang digunakan menggunakan analisis kuadran dan bauran pemasaran. Variabel yang harus ditingkatkan pada analisis kuadran ialah variabel selalu mengikuti event kuliner dan brand terkemuka. Bauran pemasaran membahas tentang product, price, place dan promotion. Kata kunci: strategi bisnis, strategi pemasaran Abstract The increasing of entrepreneurs in culinary field cause the strict rivalry between them, specifically in Royal Plaza Surabaya. The small-middle trade like Gerobak Pispot needs to have a good business strategy to complete with the competitors. Competitive analysis is commited as the first step to know the structure of industry ans SWOT analysis was also done to know the internal and external condition oh the company. The step of input in business strategy consisting of EFEM, IFEM and CPM. The score total of EFEM and IFEM is 2,91 and 2,62, whereas the score total of CPM is 2,99. TOWS matrix, IE matrix and GSM matrix are applied during the matching step. Keep up the work in the IE matrix is gained in the quadrant I as it consists of the quick market growth and it is considered as the strong competitor. QSPM is used in decision stage and it gains 6,03 as the higest score in market penetration strategy. Those suggestion is applied in the product of UKM Gerobak Pispot. Quadrant analysis and marketing mix are used as the marketing strategy in this study. Variable in joining culinary event and populat brand need to improved in quadrant analysis. Abstract

Abstrak UD. Tritunggal Diesel adalah sebuah usaha dagang yang menjual suku cadang dan berbagai jenis mesin, seperti mesin gergaji (kayu), mesin potong rumput, mesin ketinting (bensin dan solar), pompa air, genset (bensin dan solar), dan lainlain, yang dapat membantu pekerjaan petani, nelayan, tukang kayu, tukang kebun, dan pekerja lainnya. Saat ini, banyak pesaing dengan strategi mereka yang kompetitif yang juga menjual suku cadang dan mesin seperti UD. Tritunggal Diesel. Jadi, tujuan dari tugas akhir ini adalah untuk merancang strategi bisnis dan fungsional bagi UD. Diesel Tritunggal agar dapat bertahan dan bersaing terhadap pesaing-pesaing yang ada. Adapun pokok materi yang digunakan dalam tesis ini, yaitu analisis kompetitif: lima kekuatan Porter, analisis SWOT, analisis formulasi strategi, analisis kuadran, dan strategi fungsional. Sebagai hasil dari tesis atau penelitian ini, ada banyak strategi bisnis dan fungsional yang dapat digunakan dan diterapkan UD. Tritunggal Diesel sebagai strategi kompetitif untuk bisa mendominasi dan bersaing dengan pesaing-pesaingnya. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah UD. Tritunggal Diesel telah menerapkan beberapa strategi bisnis dan fungsional, dan diharapkan dengan diterapkannya strategi-strategi tersebut, maka dapat memberikan dampak positif bagi UD. Tritunggal Diesel is a trading business that sells spare parts and various types of machinery, such as chain saw, brush cutter, gasoline and diesel engine, water pump, gasoline and diesel generator, and etc, which can help the work of farmers, fishermen, carpenters, gardeners, and other workers. Nowadays, many competitors with their competitive strategies who also sell spare parts and machines like UD. Tritunggal Diesel. So, the purpose of this thesis is to design business and functional strategy for UD. Tritunggal Diesel in order to survive and compete against them. This thesis used competitive analysis: five forces of Porter, SWOT analysis, strategy formulation analysis, quadrant analysis, and functional strategy. As a result from this thesis or research, there are many business and functional strategies that UD. Tritunggal Diesel can used and applied as a competitive strategies to dominate and compete against competitors. The conclusion from this thesis is UD. Tritunggal Diesel has applied some of those business and functional strategies and expected that UD. Tritunggal Diesel will have a positive impact for applied those strategies. Abstract

Abstrak-UD.Senang Jaya merupakan usaha dagang yang melakukan transaksi jual beli barang listrik dan elektronik. Perancangan strategi bisnis dengan analisis pengukuran kualitas layanan retail akan sangat dibutuhkan oleh UD.Senang Jaya sehingga dapat bersaing dengan kondisi persaingan yang sangat ketat pada saat ini. Langkah awal yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan analisis SWOT UD.Senang Jaya yang kemudian diikuti dengan analisis lima kekuatan bersaing dan selanjutnya yang dilakukan adalah penentuan strategi bisnis yang efektif dalam menghadapi persaingan bisnis listrik dan elektronik dengan menggunakan analisis formulasi strategi yang terdiri dari 3 tahap yaitu tahap input, tahap penyesuaian ,dan tahap keputusan. Pada RSQ terdapat 5 dimensi yang digunakan yakni Physical Aspect, Reliability, Personal Interaction, Problem Solving, dan Policy serta pengukuran yang dilakukan menggunakan gap 5 yaitu yang berhubungan dengan ekspetasi pelanggan dan persepsi pelanggan dimana hasil akhir berupa hubungan strategi bisnis yang merupakan strategi korporat dengan hasil analisis RSQ yang menunjang pada sisi operasionalnya. Kata Kunci: Strategi Bisnis, Kualitas Layanan Retail Abstract-UD.Senang Jaya is a trading business that make buying and selling of electrical and electronic goods. The design of business strategy with retail service quality measurement analysis will be needed by UD.Senang Jaya so that it can compete with the very stringent conditions of competition at this time. The first step is to do a SWOT analysis UD.Senang Jaya which is then followed by analysis of five competitive forces and then taken is the determination of an effective business strategy in the face of competition electrical and electronic business using analysis strategy formulation consists of 3 phases: input stage, phase adjustment stage, and the decision stage. At RSQ there are five dimensions that use the Physical Aspect, Reliability, Personal Interaction, Problem Solving, and Policy as well as the measurements made using the gap 5 is related to expectations of the customer and the customer's perception of where the final result of the relationship business strategy is corporate strategy with results RSQ analyzes that support the operational side. Abstract

This paper is discussing about PT. XYZ shoes warehouse performance improvement. Performance improvement start from measuring company performance using “scorecard”. Scorecard design is used for performance improvement using 3 perspectives including: receiving, storage, and order picking. Performance criteria for all perspectives (WKPI) are designed with measuring the productivity aspect, time, utility and quality. Improvement is done using the scale of priority that measured using importance performance analysis. The Improvements that suggested are including giving sign for items on each blocks, raw material warehouse layout improvement, create raw material checking form, material handling operator certification and raw material warehouse operator evaluation.

Abstract

Abstrak -Untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan, perlu dilakukan metode integrasi pengukuran kualitas yaitu Servqual, Kano Model, dan Kansei Engineering. Berdasarkan hasil survei terhadap 47 responden, pelanggan dibagi menjadi 2 kelompok pelanggan yaitu kelompok pelanggan harian dan kelompok pelanggan bulanan. Hasil integrasi yang dilakukan terhadap kelompok pelanggan harian terdapat 4 atribut layanan yang memiliki nilai kepuasan negatif yang rendah dan memiliki nilai kepentingan yang tinggi, berkategori one–dimensional dan memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan Kansei Words tertentu yaitu pada atribut layanan ketercukupan tempat duduk, kesesuaian harga dengan fasilitas, kesesuaian harga dengan waktu akses, dan kemudahan pelanggan menyampaikan komplain. Sedangkan untuk kelompok pelanggan bulanan terdapat 4 atribut layanan yaitu pada atribut ketercukupan tempat duduk, keberadaan receptionist di tempatnya saat dibutuhkan, kesesuaian harga dengan fasilitas, dan kesesuaian harga dengan waktu akses. Solusi perbaikan yang dapat dilakukan untuk dapat meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan Subco Spazio adalah: penambahan jumlah tempat kerja yang nyaman, dan membuat wilayah kerja baru. Perbaikan tersebut diprioritaskan untuk pelanggan harian. Kata Kunci: Servqual, Kano, Kansei Engineering, Kepuasan Pelanggan, Ruang Perintis. Abstract –Servqual, Kano model, and Kansei Engineering integration is needed to improve service quality. Based on survey results of 47 respondents, customers are divided into 2 groups of customers, such as daily customer groups and monthly customer groups. Daily customer group itself, there are 4 service attribute which has low negative satisfaction and has high importance, one-dimensional category and has significant relation with certain Kansei Words such as seats adequacy, conformity between price and facility, conformity between price and access time, and ease of customer to complaint. For monthly customer group, there are 4 service attributes such as adequacy of the seat, the presence of receptionist, conformity between price and facility, and conformity between price and access time. Solutions that can be applied to increase Subco Spazio customer satisfaction are: add some comfortable workplaces, and creating new work areas. Those solutions are made for daily customers. Abstract

X Company is a company engaged in retail sector, has more than 20 distribution center which supply throughout Indonesia. There are six main activities in the distribution center, i.e., receiving, putaway, storage, order picking, issuing and return. Distribution center has important role to supply the goods to the retail stores and because of the important role. Performance measurement in distribution center needs to be developed by considering the activities in the distribution center to make a more detailed and thorough evaluation. Based on the result of the performance measurement in X Company distribution center from January 2016 to June 2016, found the average performance of 2,518 in the range 4 that considered good, but there are indicators that have lower value, gap analysis and IPA (importance-performance analysis) is used to determine the priority for performance measurement improvement and priority proposals are made with the help of HOQ (House of Quality) to obtain the proposed improvement priorities.

Abstract

Catering Alami Surabaya is a company engaged in the restaurant was founded in 2001 by a husband and wife who have a hobby of cooking. Problems faced by Catering Alami Surabaya that is in the Catering environment layout arrangement that seemed messy and less effective in the production process at Catering Alami Surabaya. Along with these problems, this research is done by doing direct observation so as to obtain the appropriate data and expected to be able to design the Catering Environment design with ergonomic principles. Factors influencing the design of Surabaya Natural Catering environment include arrangement of place, operation line, approach factor and proximity to interaction to employees, comfort and security of location as work place and completeness of production equipment. From the research result of design of environmental design Catering Alami Surabaya have refer to ENASE ergonomic principle that is: Effective, Comfortable, Safe, Healthy and Efficient. Five of these concepts are related to design design in Surabaya Natural Catering environment.
