Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of determination of the principal's managerial competence, academic supervision, work ethic and work motivation on the performance of teachers of SMK Teknologi Nasional. This type of research is expost facto with a sample of 36 teachers. Data was collected by questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by simple regression techniques, multiple regression and partial correlation. The results showed that: 1) there was a significant determination of the principal's managerial competence on teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.991 and an effective contribution of 22.62%. 2) There is a significant determination of academic supervision of teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.984 and an effective contribution of 23.62%. 3) There is a significant determination of work ethic on teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.993 and an effective contribution of 26.78%. 4) There is a significant determination of work motivation on teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.986 and an effective contribution of 26.81%. 5) simultaneously, there is a significant determination of the principal's managerial competence, academic supervision, work ethic, and work motivation on teacher performance with a coefficient of determination of 0.998 on the performance of teachers of SMK Teknologi Nasional. Thus, these four variables are used as predictors of the level of tendency to improve the performance of teachers of SMK Teknologi Nasional.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) find out the differences in learning outcomes of creative and entrepreneurial project subjects before applying the interactive video media-assisted problem-based learning model, 2) knowing the differences in learning outcomes of creative and entrepreneurial project subjects after applying the problem-based learning model assisted by interactive video media, 3) knowing the significant influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by video media interactive for grade XI students majoring in Hospitality at SMK PGRI 3 Badung in 2023/2024. This research is quantitative research with a type of research, namely quasi-experiment (quasy experiment). The results showed that: 1) The learning outcomes of creative and entrepreneurial project subjects before applying the interactive video media-assisted problem-based learning model were obtained a range value of 21, a minimum value of 56 and a maximum value of 77, at a mean value of 66.59, a standard deviation of 6.265 and a variance of 39.248, 2) Student learning outcomes after applying a problem-based learning model assisted by video media interactive where the range value is 12, at a minimum value of 80 and a maximum of 92, the mean value is 85.97, the standard deviation is 3.262 and the variance value is 10.638, 3) There is an influence of the problem-based learning model assisted by interactive video media on the results of student learning creative and entrepreneurial project subjects where Pair 1 obtained a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.000 smaller than 0.05, then it means that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of students for the experimental class Pre-Test with the experimental class Post-Test. In the output of Pair 2 obtained a significance (2-tailed) of 0.000 smaller than 0.05, so it means that there is a difference in the average learning outcomes of students for the control class Pre-Test with the control class Post-Test.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the low ICT learning outcomes of learners. This study aims to determine the differences in ICT learning outcomes before and after the application of computer-assisted tutorial learning models and the influence of these learning models on ICT learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental. The population of this study was all grade 5 students, with a sample of 2 classes, namely 5C as the experimental class and 5E as the control class. Data collection using objective tests. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The results showed that (1) in the pretest obtained t-count (1.77) < t-table (2.00) meaning that there was no difference in ICT learning outcomes before the application of the computer-assisted tutorial learning model, (2) in the postest obtained t-count (6.68) > t-table (2.00) meaning that there were differences in ICT learning outcomes after the application of the computer-assisted tutorial learning model, (3) based on the results of N gain score and t-test obtained t-count (2.349) > t-table (2.015) This means that there is a significant influence of computer-assisted tutorial learning models on improving ICT learning outcomes by 71%, including in the high category. It was concluded that this learning model was quite effective in improving ICT learning outcomes of grade 5 students of SD Jembatan Budaya Badung.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of parenting, peers, school climate, and student learning interest to the learning outcomes of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) of grade XI students at SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar. The research method used was quantitative involving 152 respondents of class XI students. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation, then analyzed using regression statistical techniques. The results showed that parenting, interaction with peers, school climate, and interest in learning together contributed significantly to PPKn learning outcomes by 66.70%. Positive parenting, good social interaction with peers, a conducive school climate, and high interest in learning have a positive influence on the achievement of student PPKn learning outcomes. The implications of this study are the need for further attention to the role of parents in shaping parenting, the development of healthy social interactions among students, improving the school climate, and efforts to stimulate student interest in learning. These findings can be the basis for schools, parents, and policy makers to design programs that support the improvement of PPKn learning outcomes at SMK Negeri 1 Denpasar. In addition, this research can also contribute to a broader understanding of the factors that influence learning outcomes at the Vocational High School level.

Abstract

This study aims to 1) describe the determination of transformational leadership towards the organizational commitment of SMA Negeri 3 Kuta Selatan teachers, 2) describe the determination of interpersonal communication towards the commitment of SMA Negeri 3 South Kuta teacher organization, 3) describe the determination of work motivation towards the commitment of SMA Negeri 3 South Kuta teacher organization, 5) describe the amount of simultaneous determination of transformational leadership, interpersonal communication, and work motivation towards the commitment of the teacher organization of SMA Negeri 3 South Kuta. This study was an "ex-post facto" study with a large sample of 30 people. Data was collected by questionnaires and documents. Data analysis was performed by simple regression, multiple regression, and partial correlation techniques. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant determination between transformational leadership and organizational commitment of SMA Negeri 3 Kuta Selatan, with a correlation coefficient of 0.977 and an effective contribution of 18.72%. (2) there is a significant determination between interpersonal communication and organizational commitment of SMA Negeri 3 Kuta Selatan, with a correlation coefficient of 0.962 and an effective contribution of 7.6%. (3) there is a significant determination between work motivation and organizational commitment of SMA Negeri 3 Kuta Selatan, with a correlation coefficient of 0.959 and an effective contribution of 18.22%. (4) Together, there is a significant determination between transformational leadership, interpersonal communication and work motivation towards the organizational commitment of SMA Negeri 3 Kuta Selatan, with a double correlation coefficient of 0.980 and a determination of 96.0% to organizational commitment at SMA Negeri 3 Kuta Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the role of teachers in optimizing the management of mathematics learning at SMPK 2 Harapan Untal-untal Dalung, Bali. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with the type of field research or field research. Data collection is done by interviews. Data analysis techniques are by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing research conclusions. The results showed that the role of teachers in optimizing the management of mathematics learning at SMPK 2 Harapan has been carried out well, namely by carrying out the role of teachers as demonstrators, namely by demonstrating good examples during the learning process to students in the classroom, as class managers, namely by paying attention to the environment and classroom climate so that the learning process runs well, as facilitators, namely by facilitating students in the process Learning, as an evaluator, namely by evaluating student learning outcomes and student attitudes when participating in classroom learning and as a motivator, namely by being a motivator for students so that students are encouraged into positive things during classroom learning. Factors that influence success in learning management are a) supporting factors which include the role of teachers, teacher discipline, facilities / infrastructure. b) inhibiting factors, which include student conditions, and learning methods.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Enhancement Project program at SMP Negeri Badung Regency, a case study of SMP Negeri 4 Abiansemal. This study is an evaluative study with a quantitative descriptive approach using the CIPP method (context, input, process and product). The population of this study was the P5 Project Team (Principal, School Treasurer and project implementing teachers) of class VIII totaling 18 people, and class VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Abiansemal in the 2024-2025 academic year totaling 235 people. The research sample was a saturated sample for the project team totaling 18 people and 148 students determined by the simple random sampling method. The data collection techniques used were interviews to obtain initial information regarding the implementation of P5, questionnaires as the main data source, and observations to strengthen the results of the questionnaire. The questionnaire was compiled using a Likert scale (1-5). Data analysis was carried out on the CIPP variables using the direction of the T value of each variable to determine the effectiveness of the program. The results of this study are the effectiveness of the P5 program from the contact aspect obtained positive (+) or effective results. The input aspect obtained positive (+) or effective results, the process aspect obtained positive (+) or effective results, and the product aspect obtained negative (-) or ineffective results.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pengembangan mesin pompa air dengan sistem recharging, bertujuan untuk mebantu maslah pendistribusian air pada daerah yang mengalami krisis energi. Mesin pompa air dengan sistem recharging ini mampu beroprasi dengan sumber daya dari baterai sehingga sangat hemat energi, ramah lingkungan dan mudah dibawa kemana saja karena dimensinya tidak terlalu besar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fungsional dan pendekatan structural, dengan metode observasi,dokumentasi dan prototype. Data teknis mesin yang dibuat adalah, panjang 50 cm, lebar 28 cm, tinggi 35 cm, mesin berpenggerak motor dc 12 volt 2500 Rpm, transmisi 1:1. Hasil pengujian kinerja mesin didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut, tegangan yang dihasilkan 14 volt, arus yang dihasilkan 8 ampere, kapasitas air yang mampu dihisap 136,2 liter dengan pengoprasian mesin selama satu jam dan tanpa terjadi kerusakan komponen pada mesin pompa air dengan sistem recharging. Keberhasilan penelitian ini dapat menekan biaya oprasional untuk pendistribusian air pada daerah yang mengalami krisis energi, serta dapat mengurangi pencemaran lingkungan karena pengoprasiannya tidak menggunakan BBM dan listrik PLN. Kata Kunci : Kata Kunci : Kinerja, Mesin Pompa Air Dengan Sistem Recharging, Ramah Lingkungan Development of water pump machine with recharging system, aims to help the distribution of water in areas experiencing energy crises. Water pump machine with recharging system is able to operate with the resources of the battery so it is very energy efficient, environmentally friendly and easy to carry anywhere because the dimensions are not too large. This research uses functional approach and structural approach, with observation method, documentation and prototype. Engine technical data made is, length 50 cm, width 28 cm, height 35 cm, engine motor dc 12 volt 2500 Rpm, transmission 1: 1. Engine performance test results obtained as follows, the resulting voltage 14 volts, the resulting current 8 ampere, the capacity of water that can be sucked 136.2 liters with operating machine for one hour and without damage to the component on the water pump machine with recharging system. The success of this research can reduce the oprasional cost for the distribution of water in areas experiencing energy crisis, and can reduce environmental pollution because the operation does not use fuel and electricity.keyword : Keywords: Performance, Water Pump Machine With Recharging System, Environmentally Friendly

Abstract

Harus diakui bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah amat memengaruhi kemajuan sebuah lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini penting dan berbeda dari yang lain karena menonjolkan peran kepala sekolah dalam mengelola sekolah dengan merujuk pada budaya lonto leok. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah adalah kualitatif, yaitu mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara, observasi dan analisis. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah para ketua Yayasan, para kepala Sekolah, para guru, para orangtua dan tokoh adat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan sekolah yang berkualitas, ada beberapa hal yang perlu diperhatikan, antara lain: pentingnya keterbukaan dalam mengelola TK, kesediaan untuk saling mendengarkan, pentingnya kerja sama, keterkaitan karakteristik antara kepala sekolah dan para guru dan pentingnya budaya lonto leok. Dengan hasil penelitian ini, kepala sekolah diharapkan bisa menerapkan nilai-nilai lonto leok di sekolah, sehingga bisa menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih inklusif dan kolaboratif. Penelitian ini juga diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan yang lebih segar terkait urgensitas pengintegrasian nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam praksis kepemimpinan kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi nilai-nilai budaya lokal dalam kepemimpinan pendidikan anak usia dini untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan harmoni lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the extent to which social support, optimism, religiosity, and self-esteem contribute to the subjective well-being of teachers in SMPNs across Mendoyo District. Additionally, it seeks to determine the combined impact of these factors on teachers' subjective well-being. This study is an "ex post facto" research study conducted with a sample size of 164 individuals. Information was gathered through the use of questionnaires and documents. The data analysis was conducted using simple regression, multiple regression, and partial correlation approaches. The research findings indicate a strong association (correlation coefficient of 0.319) and a notable contribution (16.11%) of social support to the subjective well-being of teachers in SMPNs in the Mendoyo District. (2) A notable distinction exists between optimism and the subjective well-being of instructors in SMPN within Mendoyo District, as evidenced by a correlation coefficient of 0.364 and a substantial contribution of 18.05%. (3) There is a strong relationship between how religious teachers are and how satisfied they feel in SMPN schools in Mendoyo District. This relationship is measured by a correlation coefficient of 0.519, indicating a moderate positive correlation. Religiosity accounts for 37.66% of the variation in teachers' subjective well-being. (4) There is a strong relationship between the self-esteem and subjective well-being of instructors in SMPN throughout Mendoyo District. The correlation coefficient is 0.387, indicating a substantial connection. Additionally, self-esteem accounts for 19.98% of the overall impact on subjective well-being. (5) The study found a strong relationship between social support, optimism, religiosity, and self-esteem with the subjective well-being of SMPN teachers in Mendoyo District. The multiple correlation coefficient was 0.960, indicating a high degree of association. These factors accounted for 92.44% of the variation in the subjective well-being of SMPN teachers across Mendoyo District.
