Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept, challenges, and benefits of implementing the independent curriculum at the elementary school level through a literature review approach. The independent curriculum is presented as a reform towards relevant and more student-centered learning, emphasizing flexibility and the development of Pancasila student profiles.  Based on the literature review, it was found that there were challenges in its implementation, such as lack of teacher understanding, limited resources, and resistance to change. However, this curriculum also brings significant benefits, such as increased student learning motivation, teacher creativity, and the possibility of holistic learning outcomes. This study recommends ongoing support, such as intensive training and development of learning communities, to overcome these challenges. Abstract

Inclusive education requires teachers to possess specific competencies to support the learning of students with special needs; however, non-special education (non-PLB) teachers often face challenges in identifying student needs and providing effective guidance. This study aimed to enhance the competence of Special Guidance Teachers (GPK) non-PLB at SDN 4 Pancor and SDN 2 Labuhan Haji through inclusive education training. The training comprised workshops on the concept of inclusive education, student identification and assessment, preparation of individualized learning plans, and guidance strategies for students with special needs. Activities were conducted using lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and practical demonstrations. The results of this community service program indicated that: 1) the workshop increased teachers’ knowledge of inclusive education; 2) teachers were able to develop learning plans for students with special needs; 3) teachers could create simple forms of identification and assessment; and 4) teachers learned various guidance strategies for students with special needs. The participants’ enthusiasm during the workshop demonstrated a positive response to the program. This training provided practical experience for non-PLB teachers in accommodating the needs of students with special needs and represents a strategic effort to strengthen the quality of inclusive education services at the primary school level.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the low initial reading ability of phase A students at SDN 3 Masbagik Selatan. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) method in improving the initial reading ability of phase A students at SDN 3 Masbagik Selatan. The research method used is an experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design. Data collection techniques were taken by giving pretests and posttests in the form of multiple choice tests. Data analysis used in this study is the normality test and hypothesis test. Based on the results of the normality test on the pretest value shows that lhitung < thitung (0.165 < 0.190), while the posttest value shows that lhitung < thitung (0.137 < 0.190) so that it means the data is normally distributed. Furthermore, based on the results of the hypothesis test obtained thitung > ttabel (10.735 > 1.725), the hypothesis reads "Ha" is accepted and "Ho" is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that the SAS (Structural Analytical Synthetic) method is effective in improving the beginning reading skills of Phase A students at SDN 3 Masbagik Selatan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis project based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN kelas IV SDN 2 Pancor. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dan desain penelitian menggunakan Nonequivalent Only Control Group Design Pre-test-Poss-test. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV A dan kelas IV B SDN 2 Pancor berjumlah 40 siswa yang terdiri dari 20 siswa kelas eksperimen dan 20 siswa kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi Observasi dan Tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS versi 25 terdapat uji normalitas sebesar 0,376>0.05, uji homogenitas sebesar 0,506>0,05 dan uji hipotesis sebesar 0,334>0,05, maka dapat dikatakan bahwa HO diterima dan Ha ditolak. Sedangkan hasil rata-rata penelitian pre-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 58,25 dan rata-rata pre-test kelas kontrol sebesar 64,65. Sedangkan hasil rata-rata poss-test kelas eksperimen sebesar 81,1 dan hasil rata-rata poss-test kelas kontrol sebesar 77,35. Berdasarkan data tersebut, maka penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi berbasis project based learning berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada mata pelajaran PKN kelas IV SDN 2 Pancor

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing untuk meningkatkan minat dan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata kuliah statistika pada siswa pendidikan sejarah. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian tindakan kelas Kemmis dan Taggart, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi untuk mengukur penerapan metode penemuan terbimbing dan aktivitas belajar siswa serta angket untuk mengukur minat siswa. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif, baik kuantitatif maupun kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa metode penemuan terbimbing dapat meningkatkan minat dan aktivitas belajar siswa. Pada siklus I, keterlaksanaan metode pembelajaran mencapai 75%. Meningkat menjadi 80% pada siklus kedua; aktivitas belajar siswa mencapai 60% dan pada siklus II 80%. Minat siswa mencapai 60% dan meningkat menjadi 80% pada siklus II. Hasil penelitian ini menyiratkan praktik mengajar bahwa metode penemuan terbimbing dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif untuk mengembangkan minat siswa dan menyediakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif untuk aktivitas, keterlibatan, dan partisipasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is the low mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students caused by conventional learning methods and the lack of interactive media utilization among Phase C students at SDN 1 Kelayu Utara. This study aims to determine the effect of using Kahoot-based hypermedia learning media on the mathematics learning outcomes of Phase C students at SDN 1 Kelayu Utara. The research employed an experimental method with a one-group pretest–post-test design. The sample consisted of all 26 fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Kelayu Utara. Data were collected by administering pretests and post-tests in the form of multiple-choice questions. Data analysis was conducted using a normality test with the Lilliefors method and a hypothesis test using a t-test. The results showed that the pretest scores ranged from 30 to 75 with an average of 57.2, while the post-test scores ranged from 50 to 85 with an average of 69.4. Based on the normality test results, the pretest data showed that lcalculated < ltable (0.177 < 0.220), and the post-test data showed that lcalculated < ltable (0.198 < 0.220), indicating that the data were normally distributed. Furthermore, the hypothesis test results showed that tcalculated > ttable (6.982 > 2.120), meaning that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of Kahoot-based hypermedia learning media has a significant effect on improving the mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Kelayu Utara.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate: (1) the process of character building implemented at SD Negeri 3 Sukamulia Timur, (2) the development of students’ character through the internalization of religious values, and (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors in the process of character building. This research employs a qualitative approach with the principal, homeroom teachers, Islamic education teachers, and several sixth-grade students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The findings reveal that: (1) the process of students’ character building at SD Negeri 3 Sukamulia Timur is carried out in a structured and consistent manner through habituation activities based on religious values that are integrated into the school culture, supported by extracurricular activities designed to strengthen positive values in shaping students’ character; (2) the internalization of religious values covers aspects of faith, worship, and morality, implemented through role modeling and habituation methods, such as the recitation of Asmaul Husna, short verses, daily prayers, congregational prayer, imtaq and almsgiving, the 5S principle, and Islamic commemoration events (PHBI); (3) supporting factors include a conducive environment, consistent positive habituation, and effective communication and collaboration between school and parents. Conversely, inhibiting factors include students’ limited understanding of religious values, lack of intrinsic motivation, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, digital distractions, as well as unsupportive family and social backgrounds.

Abstract

Urgensi penelitian ini adalah untuk menghadirkan media pembelajaran inovatif berbasis audiobook yang mampu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS serta menjawab tantangan kebutuhan pembelajaran yang relevan dengan perkembangan teknologi digital abad ke-21.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran audiobook berbasis web pada mata pelajaran IPAS terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas V yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan R & D (Research & Development) dengan model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima tahapan utama, yaitu (Analysis, Desaign, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Model ini dipilih karena memiliki tahapan sederhana namun jelas dan mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada peserta didik kelas V di SDN 1 Kalijaga Baru dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 26 orang. Tekhnik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket dan lembar minat belajar. Hasil Uji Validitas ahli media mendapatkan Skor 65 dengan skor interval 54,40 < X ≤ 67,20, dalam kategori “Baik”. Hasil uji ahli materi mendapatkan skor 55, dengan skor intervalnya X > 46,2, dalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Hasil uji kepraktisan respon guru mendapatkan skor 46 dengan skor intervalnya X > 42, termasuk dalam ketegori “Sangat Praktis”. Hasil uji Kepraktisan respon dari 26 siswa menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa menilai media pembelajaran audiobook berbasis web sangat praktis, dengan 16 siswa “Sangat Baik” dengan skor intervalnya X > 37,8, selain itu sebanyak 8 siswa masuk dalam kategori “Baik” dengan skor intervalnya 0,6 < X ≤ 37,8, dan 2 siswa dengan kategori “Cukup” dengan skor intervalnya 23,4 < X ≤ 30,6. Hasil Uji Efektifitas berdasarkan Uji N-Gain diperoleh nilai rata-rata skor sebesar 0,946 atau setara dengan 94,60% dalam bentuk persentase, di mana N-Gain >0,70 dikategorikan “tinggi”. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran audiobook berbasis web pada mata pelajaran IPAS terhadap minat belajar peserta didik kelas V yang dikembangkan sudah memenuhi kriteria Valid, Praktis dan efektif dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa.
