Abstract

Abstract: The aim of the research was to determine the effect of learning models on mathematics learning achievement viewed from students independence learning. The learning models compared were cooperative learning model of TAI GNT, cooperative learning model of TAI, and conventional model. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental research. The population was the tenth grade students of senior high school at East Lombok in the first semester of the academic year 2012/2013. The size of the sample was 104 students is given the cooperative learning model of TAI GNT type, 106 students is given the cooperative learning model of TAI type, 105 students is given model of conventional type. The instruments used were documentation, questionnaire, and test methods. The data was analyzed using two way analysis of variance. The results of this research are as follows. (1) The TAI GNT model gives better mathematics learning achievement than TAI and conventional model, besides, TAI model gives better mathematics learning achievement than conventional model. (2) The students with high independence learning have better mathematic learning achievement than students with medium and low independence learning, and the students with medium independence learning have the same mathematics learning achievement as the students with low independence learning. (3) In each level of independence learning (high, medium, and low), TAI GNT model gives better mathematics learning achievement than TAI and conventional model, besides, TAI model gives better mathematic learning achievement than conventional model. (4) In each learning models (TAI GNT, TAI and conventional), the students with high independence learning have better mathematics learning achievement than the students with medium and low independence learning, and the students with medium independence learning have the same mathematics learning achievement as the students with low independence learning.Keywords: cooperative learning, team assisted individualization, guide note taking, independence learning.

Abstract

Desa Lepak merupakan desa yang berada di pulau Lombok Nusa Tenggara Barat dengan angka penduduk miskin cukup tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengklasifikasi masyarakat di desa Lepak Kecamatan Sakra Timur Kabupaten Lombok Timur. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes Classifier, yang merupakan salah satu teknik pengklasifikasian dalam data mining. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian confusion matrix diperoleh klasifikasi masyarakat miskin di desa Lepak yang memang miskin adalah 148 record dari 156 record yang artinya terdapat 8 record yang error dimana ia lebih mirip dengan yang tidak miskin. Sedangkan untuk masyarakat tidak miskin terdapat 110 record dari 111 record yang memang tidak miskin dan sisanya 1 record error yang lebih mirip dengan miskin. Keakuratan data testing dalam memprediksi hasil klasifikasi yang menunjukkan masyarakat miskin dan tidak miskin dapat dilihat dari nilai acurasy yaitu sebesar 96.63% yang artinya termasuk dalam kategori good. Berdasarkan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa klasifikasi kelas untuk masyarakat desa Lepak adalah kelas dengan masyarakat miskin.

Abstract

In cultural anthropology, people have recognized various mathematical activities, such as counting, calculating, measuring, and weighting, with different terms derived from each culture. Community activities in responding to the existence of their environment will give rise to mathematics as part of problem-solving, including finding characters or features of residence to build. Therefore, this study explores mathematical forms in the measurement of residential characters based on sikut awak that can be used in mathematics learning. This research is an ethnographic study. Data were collected from various literature studies, field observations, and interviews. Informants included in the study were two cultural experts, one Adat leader, and one traditional builder who knows sikut awak’s measurement format in determining the traditional residential characters of Sasak people. This study shows that the determination of residential characters uses mathematical models in its calculation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan siswa pada tingkat sekolah terhadap manajemen dan fasilitas sekolah menggunakan importance performance analysis. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus. Penelitian ini merujuk ada peneitian-penelitian sebelumnya seperti yang dilakukan oeh Boky Y , Sukandi P dan Wiwit namun pada penelitian kali ini dilaksanakan pada sekolah menengah atas sebagai usaha yang dilakukan program studi Statistik untuk memberikan kontribusi pada sekolah agar bisa mengevaluasi diri. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 kelas atau sekitar 120 orang siswa. instrument yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berupa angket yang telah divalidasi oleh beberapa ahli. Terdapat 73 butir instrument pernyataan yang memuat karakteristik dari kepuasan siswa terhadap manajemen dan fasiitas sekolah yang ada. Hasil penelitian ini adalah  Pelayanan dari sekolah SMAN 1 Sukamulia terhadap fasilitas ruang belajar telah mampu memenuhi 50.30% harapan siswa, dan masih perlu dilakukan perbaikan dan peningkatan sebesar 49.70% pada layanan lainnya.

Abstract

Perisean art developed since the 13th century according to existing history, which started with a ritual to ask for rain when there was a long dry season which resulted in a famine. Perisean art performances are currently used as mere agility art performances. Pepadu is a term for players or fighters. The show is led by three referees, one pekembar tengaq (middle referee) who is in charge of leading the fight and two pekembar sedi (side referee) who is in charge of determining each pepadu. Perisean art is not only studied in the form of art but can also be studied as a form of contextual learning in mathematics. Thus, this study aims to explore the forms of mathematics and cultural values contained in the performing arts of perisean which can later be used as a source of contextual mathematics learning. This research is a qualitative research using ethnographic method. The informants used are traditional figures, pepadu, and cultural experts who understand the art of perisean , documentation and field notes. The findings show that in the performing arts of perisean in the tradition of the Sasak people there are mathematical ideas, namely geometric shapes found in perisean art instruments and musical instruments. which has the potential as a starting point in contextual mathematics learning.

Abstract

Data yang dirilis BPS NTB menunjukkan angka kemiskinan di NTB meningkat akibat gempa 2018. Dampaknya adalah perlambatan pengentasan kemiskinan pada 2019 yang hanya mampu mencapai 14,56%, selain itu merebaknya kasus Covid-19 sejak 2019 menjadi salah satu penyebab perlambatan ekonomi. masyarakat yang mengakibatkan bertambahnya jumlah penduduk miskin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan metode terbaik antara SOM dan Biplot. Selain itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengelompokkan kabupaten/kota di NTB untuk melihat karakteristik kemiskinan yang sama pada setiap klaster. Selain itu, pemetaan karakteristik kemiskinan dilakukan untuk setiap kabupaten/kota di NTB sebagai upaya untuk mengetahui keragaman karakteristik kemiskinan. Metode clustering yang digunakan adalah SOM dan Biplot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode yang paling baik adalah metode Biplot karena memiliki rasio yang lebih kecil yaitu 0,3. Klaster 1 memiliki 3 kabupaten/kota yaitu kota Bima, Mataram dan Sumbawa Barat yang memiliki kesamaan karakteristik angka melek huruf (X8) dan rumah tangga yang menggunakan jamban (X7). Klaster 2 memiliki 3 kabupaten/kota yaitu Lombok Timur, Lombok Tengah. dan Lombok Utara yang memiliki kesamaan dalam hal karakteristik persentase penduduk miskin (X1), usia 15 tahun ke atas yang tidak tamat SD (X2), usia 15 tahun ke atas yang tidak bekerja (X3), miskin masyarakat penerima BPNT (X5) dan pengeluaran per kapita (X6). Klaster 3 memiliki 2 kabupaten/kota yaitu Bima dan Lombok Barat yang memiliki kesamaan karakteristik pekerjaan di sektor pertanian (X4). Pada Klaster 4 terdapat 2 kabupaten/kota yang memiliki kesamaan yaitu Dompu dan Sumbawa yang tidak memiliki karakteristik kemiskinan dalam variabel penelitian.

Abstract

Perkembangan big data terus mengalami kemajuan dengan sangat pesat. Untuk memudahkan mengakses data dan informasi dapat menggunakan metode clustering. Clustering merupakan proses pengelompokkan obyek atas kesamaan karakteristiknya. Metode clustering dapat diterapkan pada bidang kesehatan yaitu unmet need Keluarga Berencana (KB). Unmet need dapat diartikan sebagai tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan akan alat kontrasepsi pada pasangan usia subur. Metode clustering yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu SOMdan DBSCAN. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran unmet need di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat yang kedua adalah menguraikan hasil clustering dengan metode Clustering Self Orgaizing Maps (SOM) dan terakhir untuk menguraikan hasil clustering dengan metode DBSCAN dalam kasus pengelompokkan penyebab unmet need KB di Provinsi NTB. Berdasarkan hasil analisis di dapatkan bahwa Kabupaten Lombok Timur merupakan kabupaten dengan jumlah unmet need KB tertinggi sebanyak 84.72 jiwa, sedangkan terendah di Kota Bima sebesar 4.636 orang. Hasil penelitian dengan metode SOM memiliki 3 cluster, 86 kecamatan cluster 1, 30 kecamatan cluster 2 dan 4 kecamatan cluster 3. Untuk metode DBSCANdengan eps 1.20 dan MinPts 3, jumlah cluster yang terbentuk yaitu 2 cluster, cluster 1 dengan 97 kecamatan dan cluster 2 dengan 4 kecamatan, serta 16 kecamatan yang memiliki data noise.

Abstract

Teachers have a crucial role in fostering and directing students to compete in all fields. The era of globalization requires teachers to improve their pedagogical competence, especially in professional competence. Teachers are needed to be proficient in understanding the subject matter, but teachers must also be able to use and utilize technology as a medium and source of learning. It is vital to provide workshops or training to create and use interactive learning media for smooth learning during the current COVID-19 pandemic. The workshop was held for three days with details on the provision of material on the first day, the practice of making media on the second day, and evaluation of the products produced by the participants on the third day, which was held from Saturday, August 5, to Monday, August 7, 2021, at SDN 3 Sembalun Bumbung. The workshop results illustrate that participants have been able to create interactive learning media using the AutoPlay Media Studio 8.0 application
