Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop instruments and to analyze differences in nomophobic tendencies among adolescents in terms of gender, daily internet visits, and social media volume. The subjects of this study were 150 adolescents using a non-probability sampling technique using accidental sampling. Data collection in this study used the NMP-Q instrument which measures four dimensions, namely: (1) fear or nervousness because they cannot communicate with other people; (2) fear of not being able to connect; (3) fear of not being able to have direct access; and (4) fear of being denied the convenience that mobile devices provide. This instrument consists of 30 items using the Likert rating scale model including the answer choices: very appropriate, appropriate, moderately appropriate, not appropriate, and very inappropriate. The analysis technique used is the Rasch model with the help of WINSTEPS Version 3.73. The results of this study are expected to provide knowledge and understanding of new phenomena in the development of guidance and counseling science with differences in nomophobia tendencies among adolescents. So that later it is hoped that active smartphone users will use cellphones more wisely and reduce the duration of excessive smartphone use so as to avoid the negative effects of use which can lead to addiction. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan instrumen serta menganalisis perbedaan kecenderungan nomopobia dikalangan remaja ditinjau dari jenis kelamin, kunjungan internet harian, dan volume media sosial. Subjek penelitian ini sebanyak 150 remaja dengan teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis menggunakan sampel accidental sampling Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen NMP-Q yang mengukur empat dimensi, yaitu: (1) ketakutan atau kegugupan karena tidak dapat berkomunikasi dengan orang lain; (2) takut tidak bisa terhubung; (3) takut tidak dapat memiliki akses langsung; dan (4) ketakutan akan penolakan kenyamanan yang diberikan oleh perangkat seluler. Instrumen ini terdiri dari 30 aitem dengan menggunakan model Likert rating scale diantaranya pilihan jawaban: sangat sesuai, sesuai, cukup sesuai, tidak sesuai, dan sangat tidak sesuai. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah model rasch dengan bantuan WINSTEPS Version 3.73. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang fenomena baru dalam perkembangan ilmu bimbingan konseling dengan adanya perbedaan kecenderungan nomophobia dikalangan remaja. Agar nantinya diharapkan bagi pengguna aktif smartphone agar menggunakan ponsel dengan lebih bijak lagi serta mengurangi durasi penggunaan smartphone yang berlebihan supaya terhindar dari dampak negatif penggunaan yang dapat berujung munculnya kecanduan.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku panduan bimbingan kelompok teknik sosiodrama berlandaskan teori gestalt untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal siswa SMA. “Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development). Prosedur pengembangan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang dikembangkan oleh Thiagarajan (1974). Dalam penelitiaan ini melibatkan 5 pakar/praktisi dalam bidang bimbingan konseling diantaranya yaitu 3 dosen Bimbingan Konseling FIP Undiksha dan 2 orang guru Bimbingan Konseling SMA untuk menguji validitas isi (content) buku panduan ini. Metode yang digunakan dalam menganalisis data adalah Content Validity Ratio (CVR) dari Lawshe. Untuk menguji kepraktisan buku panduan ini, peneliti melibatkan 15 orang guru BK SMA untuk menjadi penilai. Untuk menguji efektivitas buku panduan, peneliti melibatkan 20 orang siswa kelas X SMA Dwijendra Denpasar secara pre test – post test sebagai subjek uji coba efektivitas buku panduan yang dikembangkan. Dari 22 butir instrumen yang digunakan untuk menilai validitas isi (CVI), dinyatakan buku panduan bimbingan kelompok teknik sosiodrama berlandaskan teori gestalt untuk meningkatkan komunikasi interpersonal siswa memiliki validitas yang baik disetiap butirnya. Penilaian indeks validitas isi (Content Validity Index) terhadap buku panduan ini sangat penting untuk mengetahui bahwa layak digunakan”. Pengujian kepraktisan buku panduan memiliki skor sebesar 90 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kepraktisan buku panduan tergolong nilai A (Sangat Baik). Pengujian hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa Buku panduan bimbingan kelompok teknik sosiodrama berlandaskan teori gestalt untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi siswa dengan thitung 6.216 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan nilai ES = 1,392 yang termasuk kategori ES Tinggi. ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a sociodrama technique group guidance guidebook based on gestalt theory to improve interpersonal communication skills of high school students. “This type of research includes research and development (Research and Development). The development procedure in this study uses the 4D development model developed by Thiagarajan (1974). This research involved 5 experts/practitioners in the field of counseling guidance including 3 Undiksha FIP Guidance Counseling lecturers and 2 SMA Counseling Guidance teachers to test the validity of the content of this guidebook. The method used in analyzing the data is the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) from Lawshe. To test the practicality of this guidebook, the researchers involved 15 SMA counseling teachers to become assessors. To test the effectiveness of the guidebook, the researchers involved 20 class X students of SMA Dwijendra Denpasar by pre-test – post-test as test subjects for the effectiveness of the guidebook being developed. Of the 22 instruments used to assess content validity (CVI), it was stated that the sociodrama technique group guidance guidebook based on gestalt theory to improve students' interpersonal communication had good validity in each item. Assessment of the content validity index (Content Validity Index) of this handbook is very important to determine if it is feasible to use.” The practicality test of the guidebook has a score of 90. This indicates that the practicality of the guidebook is classified as A (Very Good). Testing the hypothesis shows that the sociodrama technique group guidance guidebook is based on gestalt theory to improve students' communication skills with a tcount of 6.216 with a significance level of 0.05 and an ES value of 1.392 which is included in the High ES category.

Abstract

The lack of students’ literacy is required to be overcome in order to create well-informed and active human sources so it required an effective counselling technique. As a response of this current phenomenon, this research aimed at determining the effectiveness of Cognitive Counselling Theory with Cognitive Restructuring Techniques to Increase Students' Interest in Literacy. The type of quasi-experimental research is non-equivalent control group design with pre-test and post-test control group design. The involvement of students of class X, totalling 39 people as the experimental class and 39 as the control class were selected as the sample of this research. The data analysis method used is the t-test using the SPSS 20.0 Windows 10 program. The results of the t-count data analysis are evident from the t-hit value of 10,733 > 0,227 t-table. So that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this investigation was cognitive counselling with cognitive restructuring techniques is effectively used to increase literacy interest in SMA Negeri 2 Singaraja students. The implication of this study is on the change of the students cognitive and for the counsellor who wants to implement a new effective technique.

Abstract

Problems experienced by adolescents in courtship relationships are risks that tend to lead to negative impacts. Adolescent volunteerism must seek help to solve problems in courtship. The counseling process in adolescent education can accompany and direct adolescents toward problem-solving. The purpose of this literature review research is to know the implementation of the principle of volunteerism in counseling, the impact of risky courtship on adolescents, and the application of the principle of volunteerism in counseling cases of risky courtship in adolescents. The method used in this article is a literature review. The research data is sourced from data mining techniques with a literature review. The result of this literature review is that the implementation of the principle of volunteerism in counseling takes place based on volunteerism and without being forced both by the counselor and the counselee. The impact of at-risk courtship on adolescents consists of physical, psychological, and social impacts. Applying the principle of volunteerism in counseling cases of risky courtship in adolescents is carried out by the counseling process. The counseling process is divided into three stages, namely, the initial stage of counseling, the middle stage, and the final stage of counseling. In the early stages of counseling, the counselor builds a good relationship and communication with the counselee, accompanied by an assessment and delivery of the principle of volunteerism for data mining related to counseling problems. The middle stage of counseling is the core stage of counseling activities which is accompanied by the intervention of behavioral approach counseling with one of the behavioral approach techniques, namely assertive training techniques for handling cases of risky courtship. In the final stage of counseling, the counselee makes decisions for themselves based on consideration of alternative solution options provided by the counselor.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to (1) produce the design of a counseling guide, (2) determine the validity of the contents of the guide, (3) determine the practicality of the guidebook, and (4) understand the effectiveness of the CBT Counseling, Counseling handbook with Cognitive Dispute and Modelling Techniques to Improve Self-Efficacy of Reproductive Health for Middle School Students. This research method uses research and development (R&D) with the 4D (Four D) model developed by Thiagarajan, using a questionnaire instrument. Expert testers of guide product involve five Guidance and Counseling experts. The results of this study indicates that (1) produce a CBT counseling guidebook, and (2) test  the validity of the Lawshe formula for the contents of the guidebook. The results obtained from the validity test using Lawshe CVR and CVI showed that the per-item value was greater than zero (CVR>0). Furthermore, the results of the Lawshe CVI analysis obtained a score of one. Based on the data analysis, it mean that the content validity value of the guidebook product is the high, meaning it is consideres feasible to be develop.(3) the practicality test of the guidebook on the assessment of 10 guidance and counseling practitioners is declared practical (90%), (4) the effectiveness of the guidebook obtains a sig value (2- tailed) is < 0.001 or below 0.05 so that it can be said that the CBT counseling guidebook is effective in increasing students' reproductive health self-efficacy.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) find out the relationship between the use of the REBT counseling approach  to self-talk techniques to  reduce students' academic anxiety levels, (2) to know the benefits of the importance of self-talk techniques for students, (3) to find out the obstacles faced by students in the teaching and learning process in schools.  The method used in this study was Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design.  The subjects of this study were class X students of SMAN "A" Denpasar. Data collection was carried out using Albert Ellis's academic anxiety scale which consisted of four aspects, namely psychological, motor, cognitive, somatic totaling 35 questions. The data analysis used is Anava One Line. According to the calculation results using the Statistical Packages for Social Science (SPSS) for Windows program version 21.0.  Based on the results of the analysis obtained REBT counseling model self-talk technique is effective for reducing student anxiety levels. The result t = 14.89 at df = 51 with a significance level of 5% was obtained, then the table t value =2.00 was obtained. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the tvalue of calculating  > ttable or 14.89 > 2.00 is classified as having high effectiveness, meaning that there is an influence of REBT counseling self-talk techniques to reduce academic anxiety levels.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of self-control technique behavioral counseling to minimize aggressive behavior in students. This study used a quasi-experimental design with nonequivalent post-test control group design. The population of this study were students of class XI SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so that class XI MIPA 3 was obtained as the experimental class and class XI MIPA 2 as the control class. The data analysis method used is the t-test and effect size with the help of the SPSS for Windows program. The data collection instrument used observation and questionnaires regarding aggressive behavior. Based on the results of the analysis that has been carried out, the value of Sig. 0.000 <0.05 which means H0 is rejected. The results of the conclusion of this study are that behavioral counseling, self-control techniques have an influence on minimizing aggressive behavior in students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of behavioral counseling services with self-management techniques to increase student motivation at SMA Negeri 4 Singaraja. The method used in this study is an experiment with sampling using random sampling technique. The analysis technique used is parametric statistics using paired sample T-test. The research design used is the Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. In this study, it focuses on the influence of behavioral counseling services with self-management techniques to increase student motivation with data collection techniques used in the form of questionnaires.

Abstract

This research was conducted to (1) test the validity of the contents of the behavioral counseling manual with self-regulated learning and self-management techniques to increase student achievement motivation, (2) test the practicality of the contents of the behavioral counseling manual with self-regulated learning and self-management techniques to increase achievement motivation students, and (3) testing the effectiveness of behavioral counseling guidebooks with self-regulated learning and self-management techniques to increase student achievement motivation. This study uses research and development methods using the 4D model by Thiagarajan. This study uses a questionnaire instrument achievement motivation. Evaluation of the contents of the counseling manual was carried out by five experts in the field of counseling guidance. The results of this study (1) the content validity of the behavioral counseling guidebook with self-regulated learning and self-management techniques to increase student achievement motivation in each item is 1 (CVR>0). (2) the practicality of the contents of the behavioral counseling guidebook with self-regulated learning and self-management techniques to increase student achievement motivation in each item is 93.75. (3) the effectiveness of behavioral counseling guidebooks with self-regulated learning and self-management techniques to increase achievement motivation is 72.33.

Abstract

This study is the result of a literature review that discusses the implementation of the confidentiality principle in counseling students with broken home conditions. The results of the study show that counseling services with the principle of confidentiality for students with broken home conditions have a role in improving and achieving the lives of students both related to problem alleviation and optimal development in learning. The existence of children in this broken home situation can lead to negative behaviors that impact bad habits at home, socializing with peers, academics. and conduct disorder in school. Negative behaviors by children can lead to juvenile delinquency. Juvenile delinquency arises due to the absence of family and/or environmental recognition so that they feel that their basic needs, namely love and affection, are neglected. Not fulfilling the need for love is the basis for young people or adolescents to commit deviant actions. The principle of confidentiality is used when students have problems and the teacher/counselor must be able to keep it secret. However, this secrecy has limitations that must be considered between the interests of the school or educational institution and the interests of the students themselves. Students who wish to consult with the teacher/counselor can be influenced by the way the teacher himself provides services and maintains the confidentiality of the student's problems. The better the method used in maintaining the confidentiality of the students, the more successful the teacher will be in guiding.
