Abstract

Learning materials are various forms of materials that function to support teachers in the teaching teams in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. The purpose of this study is to analyze the style of language through fairy tale book Si Kancil yang Cerdik as an alternative teaching material to write poetry for fourth grade students. In this study using qualitative approach by applying content analysis method. The subject of this study was the stylistic style of the clever picture book. The results of the study that has been done obtained 115 sentences that use the style of language in a fairy tale book. There are 19 types of language styles, them are comparative language styles (parables, metaphors, personification, allegories (fables), antithetic, pleonasm and tautology, periphrasis, and correction or epanorthosis), oppositional language styles (hyperbole, irony, apostrophes, cynicism, and sarcasm), linking language styles (metronomic, synced, epithets, and ellipticals), and iteration language styles are mesodilopsis. From the data, there are 7 categories that describe what the author wants to convey, such as the atmosphere, circumstances, feelings, actions, figures, attitudes, and time that are then used as teaching materials in the form of handouts containing poetry writing materials, language styles for teacher handles and student worksheets as an exercise in understanding language styles and writing poetry.

Abstract

Writing skills may be defined as an activity for delivering messages (communication) by using written language as a medium or device. In the world of education especially in elementary school writing skills are the last of the skills in the process of learning language skills after those of listening, speaking, and reading. Of the four language skills, a student must master, most are experienced by the student with the difficulty of mastering writing skills. Difficulty writing will hinder students from pouring ideas, ideas, and thoughts through the medium. The study is intended to know, analyze, and describe the difficulties experienced by students in writing the speech text in class VI SDN Karodangan class 2020/2021 and create a learning media of animation videos based on difficulties experienced by students. The method used is the method of content analysis aimed at analyzing phenomena based on documents obtained from research. The subject of this study is a document of a student's eulogy. The data-gathering techniques of this study are participant observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The results of this study are the students' difficulties in repeating ideas, difficulties in choosing appropriate words/diction, difficulties in shaping themes, and difficulties in completing systemic speech.

Abstract

Now that the alpha generation is more familiar with gadgets than books, there is little hope that children will read books at home. There is great hope for the creation of meaningful learning at school. However, in reality, learning at school is delivered less interestingly, most teachers use the lecture method in delivering material, with the lecture method the learning atmosphere becomes monotonous, causing students to feel bored. In the end, the material presented was not absorbed optimally. The purpose of this research is to describe how the characterizations conveyed by the characters in the story as teaching material identify intrinsic elements for fourth-grade elementary school students. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. The research subject in this research is the comic book Serial Akhlak Mulia Sang Jagoan. The data collection technique in this research is a document analysis activity. For data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. This research produces teaching materials identifying intrinsic elements and data regarding characters and characterization in the Sang Jagoan comic. There are 2 main characters, 18 subordinate characters and 29 background characters. Through the comic book of Serial Akhlak Mulia Sang Jagoan, the learning atmosphere becomes more interesting, students do not get bored during class and restore students' interest in books.

Abstract

Writing an interrogative sentence is very important for elementary school students. In addition to being used in preparation for conducting interviews, interrogative sentences are also used in everyday life. So far, students only know how the interrogative sentence is, without paying attention to what things must be considered in making the interrogative sentence. Through the learning material to write question sentences, it is certainly hoped that it will help students prepare themselves for interview activities. Many interview activities are found on television programs, one of the programs that features interview activities, namely the Mata Najwa program. This study aims to determine how the form of interrogative sentences used by Najwa Shihab in the Mata Najwa episode "like-like punishment" and then can be used as learning materials for writing interrogative sentences for fourth grade elementary school students. The method used is content analysis method. The data collection technique in this study used document analysis techniques. The subject or source of data in this study is primary data sourced from Mata Najwa's shows accessed via YouTube. The results of this study were found as many as 109 interrogative sentences raised by Najwa Shihab which were then classified according to the interrogative sentences which used the interrogative word and the interrogative sentence which did not use the interrogative word. In this study, there are 63 interrogative sentences that use interrogative words which are placed at the beginning, middle, and end of the sentence. The use of interrogative sentences that do not use the interrogative word in this study is as many as 46 sentences which are marked by the sound of the rising intonation at the end of the pronunciation. From the research that has been done, it is obtained learning materials to write question sentences for fourth grade elementary school students.

Abstract

Indonesian language learning is directed at students to be able to communicate effectively and efficiently, both orally and in writing. Indonesian language learning is also directed to appreciate literary works. Learning literature aims to introduce literary works as part of the richness of Indonesian culture to students. Literary works that are introduced to children are called children's literature. One of children's literature is fairy tales. Fairy tales are simple fantasy stories that are not really related and serve to convey moral teachings (educate) and entertain. The tale of the mouse deer is one of the familiar fairy tales and is a favorite reading for children. One of them is the story of Kancil and his Friends by Kak Thifa. This fairy tale has many moral messages in each story. From this fairy tale, the researcher will analyze the intrinsic elements contained in the fairy tale of Kancil and his friends, including: themes, characters, characterizations, settings, and messages. This research uses content analysis method, and uses a qualitative approach. The results of the intrinsic element analysis carried out by researchers on the fairy tale of Kancil and his friends can be obtained as teaching materials for drama in the fourth grade of elementary school.

Abstract

Learning materials in the learning process are very important. Learning materials commonly used in the material of the elements of characterization, especially grade IV elementary school using learning materials obtained from teacher and student books and the internet. This characterization is contained in indonesian material class IV Elementary School, theme 4 sub-theme 1 and 2, In the material there is an element of characterization in the form of character protagonist and antagonist as well as main and additional characters. To add insight into the elements of teacher characterization can use novels. One of the novels used is the novel Edensor by Andrea Hirata. The purpose of this study is to analyze the novel as an alternative learning material for the characterization element of the story. In this research process researchers use qualitative research approaches, with content analysis methods and data collection techniques through documentation. The results of the research obtained are the characterization element in the form of additional main characters, as well as the character of the characterization of a number of 44 pieces that show the character of the character. 37 pieces that show the protagonist. and 7 pieces that show the character of the antagonistic character. The characterization of the novel is presented through expository techniques and dramatic techniques. From the results of the analysis, researchers will develop learning materials in the form of handouts and student worksheets

Abstract

Pictorial word dice is basically a dice where each side is pinned with words and pictures for students to read. Used of pictorial word dice media will be explained in the form of learning plans or commonly referred to as lesson plans. This lesson plan mainly pays attention to learning themes, basic competencies and indicators of learning Indonesian in the second grade of elementary school. This study using a descriptive method with data processing techniques literature study. The description is of course based on a literature review that was developed through the author's interpretation in a scientific, concise, and clear manner. The sources of data obtained from previous research, books and journals that are relevant to this research. The first result of this study is to provide a general and comprehensive description of the characteristics of the pictorial word dice media that can be used as a medium for learning to read beginning. Second, it provides a description of the initial reading lesson plan associated with the use of pictorial word dice media, namely in the form of a plan for implementing Indonesian language learning activities for early reading in the second grade of elementary school. This literature study can be used as a basic basis for developing learning using picture dice in further research.

Abstract

In the implementation of a lesson, there are activities to transfer knowledge between teachers and students. During the learning process, teachers should not only provide material, but must develop and prepare teaching materials. In Indonesian learning, there are skills that students must master such as writing, reading, speaking, and listening skills. Therefore, teaching materials are needed to train students to acquire these skills. In reality, teachers only use teaching materials available from package books and thematic books provided by the government. Teachers hope that there will be more varied teaching materials to better support learning and more detailed material. This study aims to make teaching materials more varied and more detailed material so that students are more interested in understanding the material taught. This research uses a qualitative approach with content analysis methods. Then the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis, various interrelated pieces of events have been found which are referred to as storylines. Then based on the time sequence, there are 29 subtitles using 7 forward flow patterns and 1 subheading whose presenter uses 1 mixed flow pattern. This proves that the forward plot is the dominant plot used in the fairy tale book. Based on the results of the analysis in the fairy tale book, it can be concluded that learning Indonesian using appropriate teaching materials can provide the latest alternative teaching materials.

Abstract

By recognizing the poor ability of the student to write on the text material of the procedure, the researchers aimed to carry out this research to find out the effectiveness of the image drawing media that is expected to improve the value of the skills of writing the text procedure in students of 4th grade SD based on structural aspects, content, the principle of writing, and skill characteristics. The use of the image drawing learning media is very easy to do because the students are not strangers because the media hamper similar to its use to the games that are often found in front of the school. The media is also easy for teachers to make because they don't use a lot of tools and materials. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with one group pre-test post-test method. The population in this study is Class IV SDN Pondok Jagung Timur with a sample of the research class IV B that was taken by random sampling. Data collection techniques are done with pre-test and post-test techniques. Students work on 10 issues of knowledge covering 4 aspects of procedural texts and skills. The results of the study showed that students' skills using drawing media improved based on pre-test and post-test averages. Not only that, based on the test hypothesis paired sample t test also showed a difference between pre-test and post-test. However, on the N Gain Score test the results showed that the influence or improvement occurred was not significant.

Abstract

In the world of education, Indonesian has a very important role. To develop our communication skills, we must learn Indonesian language lessons, so that we can express thoughts and feelings through reading and writing activities. Speaking is a language activity carried out by humans in language life after listening. For someone who has the ability to speak, it is easier to convey ideas or ideas to others. Analysis of language errors is a language learning activity that deviates from the rules of the Indonesian language. Through the analysis of language errors, it can be revealed that many things are related to language errors by language learners, namely the background of the causes of errors and types of errors. The purpose of analyzing language errors is to improve and increase the success of learning and teaching language. This study discusses the analysis of phonological errors in reading essays by third grade students of SDN Sempu 1. The purpose of this study is to find out phonological errors in reading student essays and to obtain predictions of error-prone readings of students' essays through the media of picture series for class students. III. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. The source of the data used is a story essay written by grade III students. The data collection technique used in this study is a data collection technique using documentation studies. The data analysis technique uses error analysis techniques according to Tarigan, namely collecting data, identifying data, ranking errors, explaining errors, and estimating error-prone locations. The results of this study found that in reading the essays made by grade III students there were still many language errors at the phonological level in word selection, word addition, and word subtraction.
