Abstract

This study aim to indentify and analyze responses economic growth, poverty and corruption in ASEAN lower middle income countries. Type of this research is descriptive and associative, used a secondary panel data from 2010 to 2017. This research was conducted using the Vector Autoregression (VAR) model through the analysis of Impulse Response Funtion (IRF) and Variance Decomposition (VD) to determine the variability response of a particular variable due to the shock of other variables. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Variability of economic growth is not contributed by the shock of poverty and corruption in the short term, but in the long run the variability of economic growth is contributed by the shock of poverty and corruption. (2) In the short variability of poverty is not contributed by the shock of economic growth and corruption term, but in the long run economic growth and corruption contribute to influencing poverty variability. (3) The variability of corruption is contributed by the shock of economic growth and poverty in the short and long term.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to explain the added value, cost, and revenues of gambir farmers in order to improve the welfare of farmers. It’s uses primary data and makes farmers of gambir as a source of information related to concepts in research. The analysis model uses the production model, cost model, revenue model, and economic profit model. The results showed that the production of gambir not yet optimal (constant return to scale) and production cost has been efficient if gambir leaves input used 245 sack and composite input 145 unit so the gambir production 195 kg. than economically farmers have profitable if price optimism scenario. Accordingly, this study recommends to the policy makers in order to provide guidance to the gambir farmers to not only produce gambir but also other derivative products that are economically profitable and welfare farmers of gambir.

This  study aims to determine an analyze the influence of foreign direct investment, transfer payment and human development affect capita income. These three variables also used to determine convergence that happenened on the island of Sumatera. Data used from 2012 to 2017involve 10 provinces on the island of Sumatera. This data on this research is secondary data published by the Central Bureau of Statistic. The analytical method used is regression panel to estimate impact dependent variables on capita income. To determine sigma convergence use standart deviation lag of Gross Regional Domestic Income per capita. And to determine beta convergence use Generalized Method Momment (GMM). The result of this study show foreign direct investment, transfer payment and human development have significant impact on per capita income. The result of sigma convergence show the island of Sumatera have sigma convergence from 2012 to 2017. The resut of beta convergence show the island of Sumatera have beta convergence and reach half live convergence in 12 years. Keywords : Convergence, foreign direct investment, transfer payment, human development

This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that influence foreign debt in Indonesia with variables that effect economic growth, inflation, and foreign interest rates. This type of research is associative descriptive research, where the data used is secondary data from 1970 to 2017 obtained from institutions and related institutions, which are analyzed using the Error Correction Model (ECM) method. This study initially used the Ordinary Lest Square (OLS) method to see long-term, and used ECM because it wanted to see short-term at the same time. The findings of this study indicate that economic growth and inflation have a significant effect in the long run, but the interest rates have no significant effect, and in the short term all have a significant effect on foreign debt in Indonesia. Keywords: foreign debt, economic growth, inflation, interest rates and error correction model (ECM)

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: This research is motivated by the findings of the preliminary research conducted at the administrative leaders at Universitas Negeri Padang. Background Problems:  Less optimal leadership competency in administrative leadership in terms of change management, conflict management, communication, decision making, team building, and the ability to improve performance. Novelty: This model can support any program and support the expansion of the master program and/or development of the doctoral level in leadership and management of higher education, especially for the development of the capacity of structural leaders. Furthermore, this model has a very large contribution also to increase the capacity building of universities. In addition, this model can be used as the basis for opening a special study program for leaders, in increasing their leadership competence. Research Methods: This research is a development research using ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. In accordance with the results of preliminary research that has been done, then the model is developed through a process of self-evaluation, Focus Group Discussion (FGD), one to one trial and small group testing and large group testing. Research data were collected using a questionnaire, observation, and a questionnaire. The collected data is analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. Finding/Results: This study produced 4 (four) products, namely model book, material book, instructor guidebook and participant guidebook. These products were declared to be very valid by experts both in terms of construction, content and linguistic aspects so that they were suitable for use. Practicality test results show that it is very practical for the four products that have been developed. Conclusion: Furthermore, this model has a very large contribution also to increase the capacity building of universities.
