Abstract

Critical thinking is one of the essential 21st-century competencies that should be fostered from early education levels. In science learning, this skill enables students to analyze information, evaluate evidence, and solve problems logically. However, learning practices that are still teacher-centered and lack student engagement contribute to the low levels of critical thinking among elementary students. This study aims to examine the effect of the Children Learning in Science (CLIS) model assisted by Wordwall media on students’ critical thinking skills in science learning. The research employed a quasi-experimental method using a pretest-posttest control group design. The subjects were fifth-grade students from two classes, where the experimental class applied the CLIS model with Wordwall, while the control class used the Discovery Learning model. A critical thinking test was used as the research instrument, and the data were analyzed using N-Gain scores and an independent t-test. The results showed a significant improvement in the critical thinking skills of students in the experimental class compared to the control class. The CLIS stages encouraged deep thinking activities, while Wordwall enhanced interactivity and conceptual understanding. It can be concluded that the CLIS model supported by digital media is an effective strategy to improve critical thinking skills in elementary science learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate two key aspects: 1) the influence of the Steinberg Four Stages method, supported by Snake and Ladder media, on the initial reading ability of first-grade students at SDIT Al-Bina, and 2) whether the initial reading ability of these students improved more significantly with this method and media compared to those using the Syllable method. This research was prompted by the observation that first-grade students at SDIT Al-Bina needed to improve their initial reading skills. The Steinberg Four-Stage method, combined with Snake and Ladder media, was explored as a potential solution to this issue, with the overall goal of enhancing these students' initial reading abilities. The study employed a Quasi-Experiment design with a Nonequivalent Control Group. The sample consisted of first-grade students from SDIT Al-Bina, divided into two groups of 28 students each: an experimental class and a control class. The findings indicate: 1) The Steinberg Four Stages method, aided by Snake and Ladder media, influenced students' initial reading ability by 72.9%. 2) There was a greater improvement in the initial reading ability of students who used the Steinberg Four Stages method with Snake and Ladder media compared to those who used the Syllable method. Abstract

Pendidikan agama islam memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk aqidah atau keyakinan dan pola pikir serta karakter seorang individu yang mempraktikkan islam. Penelitian ini berfokus kepada pengaruh pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam terhadap pembentukan karakter seorang muslim serta bertujuan mengetahui persepsi siswa terhadap pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam dan pengaruhnya terhadap pembentukan karakter. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, pendekatan ini dipilih karena memungkinkan peneliti untuk mengumpulkan data numerik berupa hasil kuesioner yang dapat diukur dan dianalisis secara statistik guna menggambarkan fenomena yang sedang diteliti. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner online melalui Google form. Pada data penelitian ini peneliti ingin melihat keefektivitasan pembelajaran pendidikan agama islam dalam pembentukan karakter seorang muslim, maka untuk uji selanjutnya yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah uji nonparametric correlations. Berdasarkan output data terdapat korelasi positif yang sangat kuat dan signifikan secara statistik antara variabel P (x) dan variabel pembentukan karakter (y). Nilai koefisien korelasi mendekati dan nilai p-value jauh lebih kecil dari 0,05. Oleh karena itu, H0 ditolak dan H1 dapat diterima, karena semakin tinggi nilai PAI seseorang maka semakin tinggi pula nilai pembentukan karakter atau kepribadian orang tersebut. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam dapat mempengaruhi karakter seseorang dalam menerapkan perilakunya sehari-hari

Abstract

Ekonomi adalah segala sesuatu yang diperlukan manusia untuk mempertahankan kebutuhan hidup. Seiring dengan perkembangan zaman dimana masyarakat sudah mengenal teknologi dengan adanya pinjaman online demi memenuhi kebutuhan ekonominya. Pinjaman online tak lagi menjadi asing bagi masyarakat, dapat dilakukan dimana saja dan kapan saja serta maraknya kasus pinjaman online memberikan dampak yang negatif untuk masyarakat. Sarana modern yang memberikan kemudahan untuk melakukan minjam-meminjam menimbulkan banyak problem di masyarakat. Kepopuleran pinjaman online dapat dimanfaatkan oleh orang-orang untuk keuntungan pribadi. Dalam hukum islam pinjaman online hukumnya sah jika syarat dan rukunnya terlaksana dan berdasarkan perjanjian. Namun, islam juga mengajarkan bahwa hendaknya apabila bisa untuk tidak perlu melakukan pinjaman tersebut.

Abstract

A conducive learning climate can increase student motivation because students will feel comfortable and focus on participating in learning activities. A conducive classroom climate plays an important role in creating student learning motivation in the learning process. The classroom climate will trigger a good learning attitude in students. The big whisper of student learning effort depends on a conducive classroom climate. The purpose of this study was to examine the teacher's role in creating a classroom climate and motivation to learn PAI at SDN Trayu Kulonprogo. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The research location is at SDN Trayu, Galur District, Kulonprogo. The data source used is primary data, which was conducted through interviews with one PAI teacher as an informant and observation, as well as secondary data, namely related documents. This study uses three techniques in data collection: observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis involves three activity streams: data reduction, data presentation, and the formulation of conclusions. The validity of the data in the study was checked using two filtering and data validity checking techniques, namely observation persistence and triangulation, including source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that the teacher's role in creating a conducive classroom climate and learning interest in PAI learning at Trayu Elementary School has contributed to supporting the motivation of their learning activities. Learning with various representations will generate student motivation, which leads to a conditional classroom climate for learning.

Abstract

Motivation is an important factor in elementary school students’ learning outcomes and academic achievement. This qualitative study examined the strategies used by teachers at Sekolah Indonesia Johor Bahru and SDN 5 Sindangkasih Purwakarta. The research aims to explore and compare these strategies, seeking insight into effective practices that can develop a conducive learning environment. The research methods used include interviews, observation, documentation study and triangulation. Data analysis shows that teachers' strategies to increase students' motivation to learn are highly planned and depend on individual teachers' skills. These strategies include interactive teaching methods and creating a supportive classroom atmosphere. The findings show that proper implementation of teachers' strategies can increase students' passion, curiosity, confidence, concentration and ability to be independent in doing tasks. The comparison between Sekolah Indonesia Johor and SDN 5 Sindangkasih Purwakarta is in the different resources and backgrounds of the students. However, there are also many similarities in the commitment to design meaningful and effective learning to increase students' motivation to learn. This research illustrates that effective teacher strategies can increase students' learning motivation.   Keywords: teacher skills, qualitative, student learning motivation, teacher strategy

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh perkembangan teknologi serta informasi yang mengambil peran sangat berpengaruh terhadap proses mengajar siswa, salah satunya dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran bersifat digital. Media pembelajaran digital sudah menyentuh seluruh rangkaian dalam proses mengajar siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi gambaran persepsi guru terhadap penggunaan media Assemblr Edu berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) dalam proses mengajar siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif tentang persepsi guru terhadap penggunaan aplikasi Assemblr Edu berbasis Augmented Reality (AR), dengan subjek penelitian 26 responden guru. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah kusioner dan wawancara hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 90% guru memiliki persepsi baik dan 10% guru memiliki persepsi buruk terhadap penggunaan media Assemblr Edu berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) untuk mengajar siswa. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Assemblr Edu berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) dapat memberikan pengalaman mengajar yang menyenangkan, interaktif, serta mudah digunakan oleh guru.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out and analyze how the consumptive behavior of students and Islamic views are related to recommended consumptive behavior. In this study using a qualitative approach method by distributing assessment questionnaires containing several questions according to consumptive indicators and conducting interviews to obtain data from research target students. The results of the data will be presented which will be concluded by the author. The results of this study, it was found that Indonesian University of Education Telecommunications System Students from class 2019-2022 are not consumptive and implement the recommendations of the Qur'an and scholars by being consumers who are not excessive or extravagant in shopping, but are consumers who are simple and prioritize dharuriyah needs or basic needs.
