Abstract

Terrorism is often a major threat to a nation. Terrorism movements are motivated by psychological, economic, cultural, political, and religious problems of a group. This is a complex issue. However, it becomes more sensitive when religious motivations are involved. Nevertheless, terrorism is a humanitarian problem that urges all people and state and religious institutions to find a solution. Then what is the role of religion in providing correct understanding and actualizing its role in overcoming the problem of terrorism? How do people, especially Muslims, understand the message of religion? Overcoming the problem of terrorism is the first step to building a peaceful social life. The next step is to advance humanity. After all, the state and religion have the same responsibility in educating all people to live universal values such as brotherhood, peace, justice, and mutual respect and help as a way of life.

Abstract

The attitude of one's student religiosity can be seen from various sides of human life. Religious activities are not only seen from perseverance in worship (rituals), but when carrying out other activities outside of worship that is driven by supernatural attitudes, it becomes one of the attitudes of religiosity. This attitude of religiosity is usually one of the factors of one's achievement. Through the understanding of each religion that is taught, it gives birth to good habits in its activities. This study habit will increase one's achievement in learning and attitude. To be able to prove it, it is necessary to do research on this problem. The purpose of this study is to determine the most dominant religious attitude towards learning achievement. This research was conducted using quantitative research with online questionnaire data collection to students and educators. The results show that most of the religious attitudes in the form of reading the Koran are the most dominant attitudes that affect learning achievement. They mentioned that the cultivation of religious attitudes in Islamic teachings can develop one's character, apart from that religious attitudes also have a positive role in one's learning outcomes. Although, a religious attitude does not guarantee a person's level of success, at least a good attitude is embedded in oneself.

Abstract

Online learning is a challenge for educators and students during the COVID19 pandemic. In addition, this pandemic has had several impacts on the sustainability of the education process. One of the impacts felt by the world of education due to the COVID-19 pandemic, namely the existence of policies from the government related to changes in the learning system which was originally offline or turned into online learning (online). Therefore, technology plays an important role in supporting online learning in order to improve the quality of education, including in the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this research is to find out how the role of technology in online learning of Islamic Religious Education. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive approach and uses a literature review data collection method, through journal articles that are relevant to this research. The results of the study show that technology does play an important role in online PAI learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, by utilizing technology through supporting platforms, such as the Whatsapp platform, zoom, and others.

Abstract

Life for people banded heavily on language. Humans always use language as a means of communication while interacting with others. Therefor, Indonesian language is made a required subject at all academic levels. One of the skills that must be mastered by students of the four language skills is speaking skills. This study was motivated by the low speaking skills of grade V students when participating in Indonesian language learning activities. This research was conducted at SDN 6 Sindangkasih with 18 research subjects. The purpose of this study is to improve learning activities so as to increase students' speaking activities and skills by using the Show and Tell learning method. The type of research used in this study is class action research. The results showed an increase in teacher activity, student activity, and student speaking skills. Cycle I the average acquisition of students' speaking skills amounted to 68,88 with the number of students who completed learning 10 people and students who did not complete learning 8 people. In cycle II, the average acquisition of students' speaking skills was 79,44 with the number of students who had completed learning 16 people and students who did not complete learning 2 people. With this, the application of the Show and Tell learning method is proven to be able to improve learning activities during the learning process so that it can improve students' speaking skills.

Abstract

The use of English is something that must be present in a learning that is integrated into every other activity. English is very important to learn, because to communicate between nations, because English is an international language. Mastery of vocabulary is the most important part of being able to communicate fluently. This research was motivated by the lack of teaching staff at the school to teach English language learning, then about the quality of students who are still low in English vocabulary, and limited teaching aids or learning media. This research was carried out at SD Negeri 1 Pesanggrahan with the subject of 21 students. The aim of this research is to improve teacher and student activities and English vocabulary skills with a picture and picture type cooperative learning model with the help of flash card media. The type of research used is classroom action research. The results of the study showed an increase in teacher and student activity, as well as English vocabulary skills. Based on the acquisition of the first cycle, the average acquisition of students' English vocabulary skills was 70.00% in the good category, there were 16 students exceeding KKM 70. In the second cycle, the average English vocabulary ability of students was 83.80% with a very good category, there were 19 students exceeding KKM 70. Abstract

This study was motivated by the low reading skills of third grade students when participating in Indonesian language learning activities. The research was conducted at SDN 6 Sindangkasih with 17 research subjects. The purpose of the research is to improve the process of learning activities, especially reading comprehension skills so that it can increase students' activities and reading comprehension skills by using the Directed Reading Thinking Activity strategy. The type of research used is classroom action research. The results showed an increase in teacher activities, student activities and students' reading comprehension skills. Based on the acquisition of the average learning outcomes of reading comprehension skills there was a pre-cycle of 61.75 with the number of students who completed learning amounted to 4 people and students who did not complete learning amounted to 13 people. Cycle I the average acquisition of students' reading comprehension skills was 71.47 with 11 students who were complete and 6 students who were not complete. In cycle II, the average acquisition of students' reading comprehension skills was 82.94 with 16 students who completed their learning and 1 student who did not complete their learning. With this, the application of the Directed Reading Thinking Activity learning strategy is proven to be able to improve learning activities during the learning process so that it can improve students' reading comprehension skills.

Abstract

The parenting system has a significant influence on children’s development, especially in Islamic Education, which emphasizes discipline and responsibility. This study aims to analyze the differences in parenting systems between urban and rural communities and their impact on children’s Islamic Education. A quantitative approach with descriptive survey method was used in this study, involving 40 participants, consisting of 20 urban and 20 rural parents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using statistical test, including normality test and Mann-Whitney U test. The result showed that there was no significant difference between parenting in urban and rural communities. Although there are differences in methods, such as the use of technology in urban areas and extended family involvement in rural areas. The overall of communication and parental involvement in supporting children’s religious education in both urban and rural settings.

Abstract

This study was motivated by observations showing low interest and activeness of students in participating in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning, which has implications for the achievement of learning objectives that are not optimal. This study explores the strategies Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers to improve student learning activeness in Elementary Schools. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method—data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Research participants consisted of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, principals, and homeroom teachers at the school. Data analysis was carried out descriptively and qualitatively to understand the strategies applied by teachers in planning and implementing learning and the factors that influence its success. The study results showed that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers used various innovative and creative learning strategies to improve student learning activeness, such as discussion methods, group work, and interactive learning media. In addition, this study identified factors that influence the success of learning strategies, including active student involvement, support from the school environment, and teacher competence and creativity in teaching. This study provides theoretical contributions in the form of new knowledge and insights regarding Islamic Religious Education learning strategies in elementary schools and practical benefits for teachers, schools, and educational institutions to improve the quality of learning and student learning activity.

Abstract

In Indonesian language learning, there are four aspects of language skills that are developed, namely, listening, speaking, reading, and writing. All four aspects are important and needed. One aspect of language skills taught at school is writing skills. This study was motivated by the low writing skills of fifth grade students. This research was conducted at SDN Kaumpandak 02 with 21 research subjects. The purpose of this research is to improve learning activities so that there is an increase in teacher and student activities and improve the results of grade V students' skills in writing narrative essays by applying the Picture and Picture learning model. The type of research used in this study is class action research. Based on the results of the average acquisition that has been known, at the pre-cycle stage students obtained an average score of 57.85. Cycle I students obtained an average score of 67.47 with 8 students who completed learning, while 13 students who did not complete learning. Cycle II students obtained an average score of 76 with a total of 15 students who completed learning, while 6 students who did not complete learning. It can be concluded that the application of Picture and Picture learning model assisted by comic image media can improve students' narrative essay writing skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengkaji peran Hamas sebagai bentuk perlawanan dan dinamika politik islam yang terlibat dalam upaya pembebasan Palestina. Metode yang penulis gunakan adalah literature review dengan menganalisis berbagai sumber seperti artikel jurnal, buku, website, etc. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah Hamas merupakan salah satu organisasi intra Islam yang dianggap sebagai simbol perlawanan rakyat palestina terhadap penduduk Israel. Salah satu strategi perlawanan Hamas yang paling menonjol adalah perang gerilya yang digunakan sebagai upaya untuk menghadapi keunggulan militer Israel. Perjuangan Hamas untuk membebaskan Palestina melalui dua jalur, yaitu jalur diplomasi dan jalur militer. Dalam perlawanannya, Hamas banyak berurusan dengan pihak lain, baik itu pihak yang pro maupun kontra. Hamas sering dianggap sebagai organisasi teroris oleh berberapa pihak karena perlawanannya yang keras, sehingga membatasi jalur diplomasi mereka di jalur internasional. Dengan kondisi yang seperti ini, tentu saja Hamas menghadapi dilema antara mempertahankan strategi perlawanan bersenjata atau mengadopsi pendekatan politik yang lebih moderat demi mengurangi isolasi internasional dan meningkatkan legitimasi pemerintahan mereka di Gaza.
