Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan soal-soal kemampuan penalaran matematis materi bangun ruang sisi datar berkonteks Bengkulu yang terstandar: yang valid, memiliki keterbacaan baik,  memiliki tingkat kesukaran dan indeks daya beda baik. Penelitian ini yang dilaksanakan pada tahun ajaran 2020/2021 ini mengikuti alur  Tessmer. Subjek ujicoba adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP di Bengkulu. Sebelum prototipe soal dibuat, dilakukan analisis siswa, kurikulum, materi dan konteks. Telaah dan revisi soal dilakukan pada tahap experts review. Soal ditelaah oleh 3 orang validator dari sisi konten, konstruk, dan bahasa. Komentar dan saran validator pada proses validasi menjadi acuan untuk revisi soal. Hasil analisis validasi akhir para validator menunjukkan bahwa soal telah valid. Proses one to one pada 3 orang siswa kelas VIII yang  masing-masing berkemampuan tinggi, sedang, dan rendah, Tergambar dari proses one to one bahwa maksud soal dapat terbaca oleh siswa. Bukti empirik mengenai tingkat kesukaran dan indeks daya beda butir soal diperoleh pada tahap small group, dengan cara mengujicobakan soal yang telah valid dan memiliki keterbacaan yang baik kepada 31 siswa kelas VIII SMP di Bengkulu.  Skor siswa terhadap soal tersebut dianalisis secara kuantitatif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 8 soal dikembangkan dikategorikan terstandar. Soal-soal ini dapat digunakan untuk melatih kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP. Kata Kunci: Soal matematika, kemampuan penalaran matematis, konteks Bengkulu, bangun ruang sisi datar  Abstract The purpose of this research was to produce standardized items on mathematical reasoning abilities in the Bengkulu context of flat-sided geometry: those that were valid, had good clarity appeal, had a difficulty level and a good discrimination index. This research, which was conducted in the 2020/2021 academic year, follows the Tessmer’ model. The test subjects were students of class VIII SMP in Bengkulu. Before the items prototype was made, an analysis of students, curriculum, material and context was carried out. The review and revision of the items were carried out at the experts review stage. The items were reviewed by 3 validators in terms of content, construct, and language. The validator's comments and suggestions in the validation process become a reference for revision of the questions. The results of the final validation analysis of the validators, showed that the questions were valid. One to one process for 3 students of class VIII, each of which has high, medium, and low abilities. It is illustrated from the one to one process that the meaning of the questions can be read by students. Empirical evidence regarding the level of difficulty and discrimination index of items was obtained at the small group stage, by testing items that were valid and had good readability to 31 grade VIII SMP students in Bengkulu. Student scores on these items were analyzed quantitatively. The results of the analysis showed that the 8 items developed were categorized as standardized. These items can be used to exercise the mathematical reasoning skills of junior high school students. Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu adalah salah satu bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Di Desa Air Meles Bawah terdapat permasalahan siswa kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal yang berkaitan dengan operasi hitung perkalian bilangan. Operasi hitung perkalian sebagai penjumlahan secara berulang. Rendahnya kemampuan siswa kemungkinan dipengaruhi oleh teknik pembelajaran yang kurang efektif, serta belum optimal pengembangan penerapan matematika dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Solusinya adalah penulis menyiapkan program kerja penggunaan operasi tangan atau dikenal dengan jarimatika untuk membantu operasi perkalian agar dapat memudahkan anak-anak menghitung perkalian yang sering kali dilupakan dan sulit bagi mereka untuk mengoperasikannya. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dipakai adalah lembar kerja siswa berupa seperti angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah anak-anak yang mengikuti bimbingan belajar pada masing – masing kelas, sebanyak kurang lebih 30 orang anak. Setelah menggunakan jarimatika terdapat kenaikan untuk jawaban yang benar. Kemudian peningkatan kecepatan untuk menyelesaikan masalah matematika operasi perkalian, sudah terdapat peningkatan yang penulis rasakan jika diberi soal secara lisan tentang perkalian maka anak-anak sudah mulai terbiasa dengan jarimatika sehingga penyelesaian masalah matematika pun cepat terselesaikan. Abstract

The Community Service Program (PPM) which was carried out aims to assist SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bengkulu City in compiling an IASP 2020-based accreditation form. In 2022, reaccreditation will be carried out. Based on the results of interviews with school principals and teachers, the school accreditation preparation team did not fully understand the 2020 IASP, the deadline for preparation for accreditation in the near future, insufficient physical evidence, incomplete accreditation guidelines, schools did not have time to conduct self-evaluations and lack of coordination. and communication between individuals and teams. Based on this, it is necessary to carry out assistance activities in preparation for accreditation. The method used is discussion and question and answer. The subject of this community service is the team that composes the accreditation form for SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bengkulu City. This activity has been carried out for 4 meetings, which include the socialization of IASP 2020, filling out accreditation forms, presenting the results of filling out forms, and evaluating forms. During this service activity, all teams have carried out the form preparation activities well. The result of this service activity is that SD Muhammadiyah 1 Bengkulu City has completed all components of the accreditation form and met the internal quality standard values.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang diajarkan di seluruh jenjang pendidikan tingkat SD hingga perguruan tinggi. Matematika adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang memiliki peranan penting. Matematika juga sering dianggap sebagai mata pelajaran yang paling sulit dipahami oleh siswa. Oleh karena itu, perlu diadakan bimbingan belajar agar siswa dapat memecahkan masalah-masalah yang berkaitan dengan materi pelajaran matematika. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini menggunakan metode ceramah. Kegiatan bimbingan belajar ini bertujuan supaya siswa – siswi dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan munumbuhkan minat belajar serta dapat mengatasi kesulitan belajar dalam pembelajaran matematika sehingga siswa dapat mencapai hasil belajar yang optimal. Hasil kegiatan bimbingan belajar yang telah dilaksanakan adalah siswa senang dan tumbuh semangat belajar. Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran, Pecahan, Bimbingan

Abstract

Utilization of geometric blocks in elementary mathematics learning can increase students' interest and activeness in learning mathematics. This activity aims to explore the use of geometric blocks as a fun learning medium in elementary mathematics learning. The method used is a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The target of the activity is 29 grade 5 students at SD Negeri 38 Bengkulu City. The results of the activity show that the use of geometric blocks in elementary mathematics learning can increase students' interest and activeness in learning. Students are more interested and enthusiastic in participating in learning. The use of geometric blocks can also improve understanding of mathematical concepts. Students can easily visualize and understand geometric concepts such as cubes, beams and prisms. This activity makes an important contribution to the development of innovative and fun elementary mathematics learning. Utilization of building blocks as learning media can be used as an effective alternative to increase students' interest and achievement in mathematics.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of teacher ability and the availability of learning resources on mathematics problem-solving ability among high school students in West Java, Indonesia. Quantitative analysis was employed, utilizing survey questionnaires to gather data from a sample of 160 high school students. The study found significant positive relationships between teacher ability, learning resource availability, and mathematics problem-solving ability. Specifically, high-quality teaching and adequate provision of learning resources emerged as crucial factors contributing to students' problem-solving skills. The findings underscore the importance of investing in teacher training, professional development, and resource provisioning to enhance mathematics education outcomes in West Java.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh positif media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi terhadap peningkatan kreativitas anak usia dini. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi literatur dengan fokus pada analisis berbagai pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis teknologi yang telah diterapkan dalam pendidikan anak usia dini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kontribusi signifikan media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dalam merangsang kreativitas anak melalui elemen visual, interaktivitas, dan keterlibatan personal. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah pentingnya pengembangan kurikulum yang mengintegrasikan teknologi dengan metode tradisional, serta peran guru dalam mendukung pemanfaatan media pembelajaran. Simpulan penelitian menyoroti bahwa penggunaan bijak media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi dapat membentuk fondasi kuat untuk perkembangan kreativitas anak usia dini.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the elements of integer counting operations contained in the cat-cat game and to clarify its contribution in the context of mathematics education and preserving local culture. The method in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection carried out through direct observation during the game and focusing on player interactions and the strategies used when playing the kucing-kucing game. The results of the research show that the cat-cat game contains elements of the concept of integer counting operations, namely multiplication, division, addition and subtraction (Kabataku), especially related to the rules of the game using 12 cat-cats and a tennis ball as the tools used in the game. This makes a significant contribution in the context of mathematics education, showing the potential of traditional games as a meaningful learning resource. This research emphasizes the importance of maintaining and introducing traditional games in efforts to preserve cultural heritage and provide interesting learning alternatives for students.
