Abstract

The issue of street children remains a social problem that has not been optimally addressed in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency (OKU). The handling carried out so far tends to be short-term in nature and has not addressed the root causes of the problem. This study aims to analyze the coordination pattern between the Social Service Office and the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) in controlling street children who disturb public peace and order in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study was conducted from June 1 to June 26, 2025, at the Social Service Office and the Satpol PP of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Data analysis was based on Hasibuan’s coordination theory, using the indicators of unity of action, communication, division of labor, and discipline. The results indicate that the coordination pattern between the Social Service Office and Satpol PP has been implemented effectively. Unity of action was achieved through briefings, joint roll calls, and pre-operation meetings, although it has not yet been supported by a formally established joint Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). Communication was conducted in a two-way manner, both formally and informally, enabling quick responses to public reports. The division of labor between agencies was clearly defined according to their respective functions and authorities, preventing overlapping tasks. Discipline was reinforced through internal supervision and leadership role models. The coordination pattern formed is categorized as a functional coordination pattern and is considered effective in addressing street children issues. It is recommended that the local government establish a formal joint SOP and strengthen cross-sectoral coordination to ensure sustainable and rehabilitation-oriented handling of street children.

Abstract

Rice is a basic necessity for society, the fulfillment of which is guaranteed by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The state is responsible for ensuring food availability, accessibility, and affordability for all citizens. However, in practice, various challenges remain, such as fluctuations in rice prices and supply, particularly ahead of National Religious Holidays and during periods of scarcity, including in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. Perum Bulog, as a State-Owned Enterprise assigned by the government under Presidential Regulation Number 48 of 2016, plays a strategic role in maintaining price stabilization and rice availability. This study aims to examine the role of Perum Bulog in maintaining rice availability and price stabilization in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The study was conducted from June 24 to July 20, 2025.The results indicate that Perum Bulog Ogan Komering Ulu Branch has carried out its role effectively through the purchase of farmers’ unhusked rice in accordance with the Government Purchase Price (HPP), the distribution of rice through the Food Supply and Price Stabilization Program (SPHP), and the management of Government Food Reserves (CPP) for Beneficiary Families. Despite an increase in distribution, rice stocks remained stable.The study concludes that the role of Perum Bulog has supported the principles of food security, namely availability, accessibility, and stability. Therefore, it is recommended that Bulog continue to strengthen paddy absorption, enhance cross-sectoral coordination, and maintain the stability of regional food stocks.

Abstract

Program transmigrasi yang dilaksanakan di Desa Bina Amarta, Kecamatan Madang, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Timur, Ulu, telah sangat memengaruhi kehidupan masyarakat setempat. “Masyarakat Komering setempat harus beradaptasi dengan populasi imigran dari berbagai tempat, termasuk Jawa, Sunda, Dieng, dan Cirebon. Variasi budaya dan latar belakang sosial telah mengakibatkan transformasi sosial-budaya yang lambat dan rumit, yang memengaruhi kehidupan sehari-hari dan hubungan antar penduduk. Studi ini berkaitan dengan teori perubahan sosial dan menggunakan indeks perubahan sosial sebagaimana diuraikan oleh Nanang Martono, khususnya: pertumbuhan dan penurunan populasi, inovasi, serta pendidikan dan pengetahuan. Ketiga indikator ini digunakan untuk menilai tingkat perubahan sosial-budaya yang dihasilkan dari proses transmigrasi di masyarakat ini. Studi ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif, dengan memanfaatkan pendekatan pengumpulan data seperti wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan studi meliputi penduduk setempat, transmigran, tokoh masyarakat, dan kepala desa yang mengetahui dinamika sosial Desa Bina Amarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan populasi akibat program transmigrasi memicu berbagai modifikasi sosial dan budaya. Kemajuan terkini dalam bidang pertanian, teknologi, dan aksesibilitas informasi telah memengaruhi gaya hidup dan perspektif individu. Selain itu, peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya pendidikan dan informasi telah memfasilitasi transformasi yang bermanfaat dalam masyarakat. Meskipun demikian, perubahan-perubahan ini telah menimbulkan masalah, termasuk terkikisnya adat istiadat setempat, keterasingan sosial, dan kemungkinan perselisihan budaya yang memerlukan fokus dan penyelesaian dari komunitas.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of brand image, product quality, price, and promotion on iPhone purchasing decisions in Banda Aceh. The method used in this study was a quantitative approach. The results showed a significant influence between brand image, product quality, price, and promotion on iPhone purchasing decisions in Banda Aceh. The implications of this study indicate that brand image, product quality, price, and promotion influence iPhone purchasing decisions in Banda Aceh. This is because brand image can make it easier for consumers to recognize the product they want. Product quality can also influence consumer decisions because the higher the quality of a product, the higher the consumer's purchasing interest. Affordable prices can make it easier for consumers to gauge purchasing power, and promotions can provide the latest information to consumers.

Abstract

Fajar Jaya Village is a rural area where the majority of the population works as farmers; however, not all farmers are involved in farmer groups. Out of 652 farmers, only 286 are registered as active members of farmer groups. This condition indicates that empowerment programs have not reached the entire farming community. The main issue identified is the suboptimal coordination between the Village Government and the Department of Agriculture, characterized by a lack of data synchronization, the absence of regular communication forums, unclear division of tasks, and weak joint evaluation mechanisms. These problems serve as the primary basis for conducting research on coordination patterns in empowering farmer groups in Fajar Jaya Village.This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The theoretical framework is based on Hasibuan’s concept of coordination, which focuses on four indicators: cooperation, communication, division of labor, and discipline. The study was conducted from May 20 to June 24, 2025, in Fajar Jaya Village and the Department of Agriculture of Ogan Komering Ulu Regency. The findings reveal that coordination remains administrative, lacks participatory elements, and is not yet integrated into the village development planning process. Based on these findings, it is concluded that coordination between the two parties has not been optimal. The researcher recommends the establishment of a formal coordination forum, increased involvement of the village in planning, clearer division of responsibilities, and strengthened communication and documentation to ensure that empowerment programs become more effective and sustainable.

Abstract

Banjir merupakan salah satu bencana alam yang paling sering terjadi di Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU), Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menggambarkan bagaimana BPBD Kabupaten OKU menjalankan manajemen pencegahan dan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana banjir. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam terhadap dua orang petugas BPBD OKU, yaitu Tiara (Penelaah Teknis Bidang Pencegahan Kesiapsiagaan) dan Wandi (Tim Pusdalog). Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa BPBD OKU telah menjalankan program sosialisasi Komunikasi Informasi dan Edukasi (KIE), penyusunan Dokumen Kajian Risiko Bencana, pemasangan sistem peringatan dini di titik-titik strategis, serta membangun jaringan relawan di 9 kecamatan. Banjir besar tahun 2024 yang melanda 11 dan 13 kecamatan dan menewaskan 6 orang menjadi momentum penting perbaikan sistem penanggulangan bencana. Kendala yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan SDM dan peralatan, serta perilaku masyarakat yang masih kurang peduli terhadap lingkungan. BPBD berharap masyarakat OKU ke depan semakin mandiri dan siap siaga dalam menghadapi bencana banjir.

Abstract

Various regions in Indonesia have a history of land abduction. Taking, occupying, or taking another's land illegally is known as land abduction. The following factors cause land abduction: human greed or greed, economic factors, employment factors, and educational factors. The process of settling a case of land abduction in the Criminal Procedure Law is as follows: report or complaint, filing of a case to the prosecutor general, the plaintiff, the indictment, the trial, the reading of the charges, the exemption, the examination of the means of proof, the complainant, the defence of the replica, the duplication, the judgment of the court, the ordinary and extraordinary legal effort.
