Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of religiosity and brand loyalty on consumer purchasing decisions at the Aurel Hijab Store in Lhokseumawe City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research population is consumers of the Aurel Hijab Store, with a sample size of 100 respondents determined using the Lemeshow formula and convenience sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through a structured questionnaire with a Likert scale, then analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program through multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that partially religiosity (X1) has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y), as evidenced by a t-test with a significance value smaller than 0.05. This indicates that the higher the level of consumer religiosity, the stronger their tendency to make decisions to purchase hijab products that are in line with Islamic values. Furthermore, brand loyalty (X2) also has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y) based on the t-test results, which indicates that consumer loyalty to the brand encourages repeat purchases and product recommendations. Simultaneously, the F-test results show that religiosity and brand loyalty together have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 76.4% indicates that variations in purchasing decisions can be explained by religiosity and brand loyalty, while the rest is influenced by other variables outside the research model. This finding confirms that consumer purchasing decisions for hijab are not only determined by brand loyalty, but also by the suitability of the product with the religious values held by consumers.

Abstract

The Pre-Order (PO) system in e-commerce offers convenience for manufacturers and consumers by allowing the ordering of goods before they are produced. From the perspective of maslahah, this system can provide benefits such as production efficiency, reduction of the risk of excess stock, and certainty of demand for producers. However, in practice, PO systems also face serious challenges, especially in terms of unilateral cancellations by consumers, late payments, and failure of manufacturers to fulfill orders. This disorder can cause financial losses and lower trust in business transactions, so it needs to be studied through the perspective of maslahah to assess the extent of the benefits and harms. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative method, by examining the experience of producers in dealing with irresponsible practices in the PO system. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews and literature studies related to Islamic law in business transactions. The analysis is carried out based on three levels of maslahah: dharuriyyah, hajiyyah, and tahsiniyyah. The results of the study show that the PO system has great benefits for the digital economy, but it also risks causing harm if it is not properly regulated. Therefore, solutions such as strengthening digital contracts, transparency in agreements, and implementing a stricter payment system are needed to protect the rights of producers and consumers. With this approach, the PO system can continue to run fairly and sustainably in accordance with the principles of justice, trust, and benefit in Islamic muamalah.

Abstract

The phenomenon of women working night shifts in Langsa City is increasing, in line with economic needs and the flexibility of time offered. This job is often considered a solution for women to contribute to the family economy without abandoning their family responsibilities. However, night work also brings various challenges such as health problems, stress, and impacts on social interactions and time with family. This study aims to analyze the factors that encourage women to work night shifts in Langsa City and assess these practices from the perspective of maslahah hajiyah in Islamic law. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with an empirical juridical approach. Data was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Interviews were conducted with women working night shifts in sectors such as restaurants, shops, and health facilities. The results of the study show that economic factors, family responsibilities, and time flexibility are the main motivations for women to work at night. From the perspective of maslahah, night work for women can be considered maslahah hajiyah, which is a secondary need to improve the economic welfare of the family, as long as the work is halal and does not cause greater harm. These findings contribute to the discourse on women's empowerment and the application of Sharia principles in the context of night work for women.

Abstract

Sharia investment in real assets constitutes a crucial pillar in strengthening the Islamic economy, particularly in relation to the sustainability of halal MSMEs. However, in much of the existing literature, Islamic investment is often narrowly understood as a purely financial activity, while the social and cultural dimensions that shape the value of real assets tend to be overlooked. Against this backdrop, this article examines coffee shops in Aceh as a form of halal MSME real asset that has developed within social and digital spaces following the implementation of Islamic law (Sharia). This study employs a qualitative case study approach. Data were collected through field observations, in-depth interviews with business owners, employees, and customers, as well as an analysis of coffee shops’ social media activities. The data were analyzed thematically to understand how Sharia investment value is constructed through everyday practices, social interactions, and digital representations. The findings reveal that coffee shops in Aceh function not merely as business entities but as spaces for the production of Sharia investment value grounded in social legitimacy, adherence to halal norms, and the strategic use of digital platforms. The reproduction of the syar’i-modern young female identity emerges as part of this process, operating as symbolic capital that fosters a sense of safety, social acceptance, and public trust. Nevertheless, the study also identifies tensions between symbolic imagery and managerial practices that may affect the sustainability of investment value. This research underscores that Sharia investment based on real assets should be understood as a dynamic and socially embedded socio-economic process, rather than merely a matter of financial returns.
