Abstract

Perlis Village is around the mangrove forest in Langkat Regency, North Sumatra, Indonesia. This village has several barren lands potentially planted with mangroves. They were considering that the livelihoods of most of the people were fishermen and mangrove crab catchers. It is necessary to plant and rehabilitate damaged mangrove forests to restore and repair the ecosystem in Perlis Village. Planting activities were carried out in locations considered suitable for planting 200 seedlings. Three transects were made to obtain vegetation analysis data and carbon content. Each transect consists of six plots in natural forest and restoration forest. When the seedlings at the planting location were 3 months old, observations were carried out again, and of the 135 plants, approximately 67.16 percent were still alive from a total of 200 seedlings planted. Carbon storage in natural forests is 69 Mg ha-1 and 41.64 Mg ha-1 in restoration forests. By enriching the methods and estimating the potential carbon stocks of natural and rehabilitated mangroves in Perlis village in the context of Indonesia's climate change mitigation strategy, it is hoped that this information has the potential to help the blue carbon research community and policymakers

Abstract

Pare Terminal will change its function to Type B Terminal in 2022. There has been no study of the services provided by the terminal management. The study aims to determine the terminal user satisfaction index. The method used is quantitative to determine the public's response to the services provided by the terminal manager. Data was obtained from the results of a questionnaire distributed online. There are three groups of elements: employee services, facilities, and infrastructure, as well as costs and ease of service procedures. Each element is detailed with several service component questions. Respondents' results were analyzed using Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of the analysis show that several services need improvement because they are in quadrant I, namely: provision of rubbish bins along the Pare Terminal Road; availability of complaint/criticism/suggestion compliant facilities for passengers; provision of first aid equipment inside the Pare Terminal; availability of parking/vehicle storage; and traffic signs at Pare Terminal. There is also information on fleet ticket prices at Pare Terminal. The study results can be useful for terminal managers to improve their performance. ABSTRAK Terminal Pare beralih fungsi menjadi Terminal Tipe B pada tahun 2022. Belum ada kajian tentang layanan yang diberikan oleh pengelola terminal. Kajian bertujuan mengetahui indeks kepuasan pengguna terminal. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif untuk mengetahui respons masyarakat terhadap layanan yang diberikan oleh pengelola terminal. Data diperoleh dari hasil kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online. Terdapat 3 kelompok unsur, yaitu pelayanan pegawai, sarana dan prasarana, serta biaya, dan kemudahan prosedur pelayanan. Setiap unsur dirinci dengan beberapa pertanyaan komponen layanan. Hasil responden dianalisis menggunakan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Diperoleh hasil analisis diketahui beberapa layanan perlu perbaikan karena berada pada kuadran I, yaitu: penyediaan tempat sampah di sepanjang jalan Terminal Pare, ketersediaan fasilitas pengaduan keluhan/kritik/saran bagi penumpang, penyediaan perlengkapan P3K di dalam Terminal Pare, tersedianya tempat parkir/penitipan kendaraan dan rambu-rambu lalu lintas di Terminal Pare, dan terdapat informasi harga tiket armada yang ada di Terminal Pare. Hasil kajian dapat bermanfaat bagi pengelola Terminal untuk meningkatkan kinerjanya.

Abstract

Pencegahan fraud (kecurangan) merupakan salah satu tantangan besar dunia perbankan, termasuk dalam sektor perbankan syariah. Implementasi etika Islam yang berdasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip keadilan, transparansi, dan tanggung jawab sosial dapat berperan sebagai mekanisme pencegahan yang efektif terhadap perilaku fraud. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan etika Islam dalam mencegah fraud di perbankan syariah. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan atau menggambarkan realitas yang ada atau apa yang terjadi atau realitas sebenarnya dalam objek yang diteliti melalui studi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa prinsip-prinsip etika Islam, seperti larangan terhadap riba, gharar, dan maysir, serta penekanan pada kejujuran (sidiq), amanah, dan ikhlas, terbukti memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang transparan dan mencegah praktik kecurangan. Selain itu, komitmen terhadap pelatihan berkelanjutan dan pengawasan internal yang ketat juga terbukti penting dalam mengurangi potensi terjadinya fraud. Penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi untuk memperkuat penerapan etika Islam sebagai bagian dari kebijakan perusahaan dalam mencegah fraud serta pentingnya penguatan budaya kerja berbasis integritas di perbankan syariah.

Abstract

Riba, in the context of credit transactions, refers to the practice of charging or receiving interest or additional profit in buying and selling transactions with a credit system. In Islamic terminology, riba is prohibited because it is considered unjust and violates the principles of justice and equality in economic transactions. In Islam, financial concepts and transactions are governed by Sharia principles that prohibit riba (interest), gharar (uncertainty), and unfair practices. When discussing credit cards in Islam, there are differing opinions among scholars. Some scholars consider credit cards to involve riba and gharar, thus making them prohibited in Islam. Riba is forbidden, and credit involving riba is considered haram (forbidden). Muslims are encouraged to stay away from riba and seek halal alternatives in managing their finances.

Abstract

Early marriage is a serious problem faced in Indonesia, including in Gunung Tuleh sub-district, West Pasaman Regency. This activity aimed to raise the awareness of students of SMAN 1 Gunung Tuleh about the health impacts and civil law in preventing early marriage through education on empowering the role of the family. This interactive socialization used various methods, including discussion and question and answer. The results showed an increase in students' knowledge of the dangers of early marriage, as well as an understanding of the role of the family in preventing it. It is hoped that this socialization can provide a comprehensive understanding of the negative impacts of early marriage on reproductive health, education, and economic welfare, thus contributing to a decrease in early marriage rates among adolescents in Gunung Tuleh.

Abstract

Background: Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death worldwide. Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that attacks the breast and spreads throughout the body. The surgical procedure most often used for the management of breast cancer is mastectomy. Mastectomy is a surgical procedure of removing breast tissue. A problem that often arises in postoperative patients is pain. Method: The design of this research method uses a descriptive method in the form of a case study with a nursing process approach consisting of nursing review, diagnosis, intervention, implementation and evaluation. The subjects of the study were 2 postoperative mastectomy patients with acute pain problems at Muhammadiyah Palembang Hospital. Results: After the implementation of pain management nursing deep breath relaxation therapy for 3 days, it was obtained that from both patients postoperative mastectomy there was a decrease in pain scale from moderate pain scale to mild pain scale. In patient 1 of the pain scale 5 drops to pain scale 2 and patient 2 of the pain scale 5 decreases to pain scale 3. Conclusion: The application of deep breath relaxation therapy in both postoperative mastectomy patients can reduce pain intensity from a moderate pain scale to a mild pain scale.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Kota Mojokerto terhadap program parkir berlangganan yang masih belum banyak diketahui oleh publik. Rendahnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam layanan ini menjadi isu utama yang diangkat. Melalui strategi sosialisasi digital, kegiatan ini memanfaatkan platform media sosial populer, yaitu TikTok dan Instagram, guna menjangkau segmen masyarakat yang lebih luas dan lebih aktif secara digital. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi pembuatan konten kreatif berupa video edukatif, infografis, serta kampanye interaktif yang disesuaikan dengan karakteristik pengguna media sosial. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam jangkauan informasi dan interaksi pengguna, yang ditandai dengan meningkatnya jumlah pengikut, tayangan konten, serta pertanyaan terkait parkir berlangganan. Strategi ini terbukti efektif sebagai media edukasi dan promosi program layanan publik secara lebih adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi komunikasi.

Abstract

The digital transformation within religious courts through the e-Court system represents a strategic step toward realizing efficient and accessible legal services, particularly in cases of Islamic family law. This system offers administrative conveniences such as e-filing, e-payment, and online hearings. However, the substantive effectiveness of e-Court still faces multiple challenges, including technological access gaps, limited legal literacy, and normative obstacles in aligning sharia values with digital procedures. This study evaluates the extent to which the e-Court system ensures substantive justice, especially for vulnerable groups such as women and children. Using a normative approach, the article emphasizes the importance of integrating Islamic justice principles such as al-‘adalah (justice) and al-mashlahah (public interest) within digital judicial governance. The findings show that although e-Court improves procedural efficiency, it has yet to fully address the complex emotional and spiritual dimensions of family disputes. Therefore, a more inclusive regulatory and ethical framework is needed to ensure that digitalization does not create new inequalities in access to justice.

Abstract

This research explores the influence of location selection strategy on the operational performance of Retail Company 'S' in Padang City, West Sumatra. This study uses a mixed-methods approach that combines quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Quantitative data was obtained from field surveys and literature analysis, while qualitative data was collected through interviews with the company. Retail Company 'S' used the Factor Ranking Method as the main tool in making location decisions. The results show that proximity to markets and suppliers is the main factor in location selection, with operational costs and public perception of the company also being important considerations. The right location selection strategy is proven to improve visibility, accessibility and customer appeal, which significantly contributes to the success of modern retail businesses in Padang City. The findings provide important insights for operations managers in designing effective and efficient location strategies to achieve optimal operational performance.
