Abstract

This research aims to describe the distribution system from an Islamic economic perspective. The research method used in this study is library research. This research concludes that distribution in Islamic economics is based on fundamental human values, namely the value of freedom and justice. The purpose of distribution is twofold: first, wealth does not accumulate among a small group. Second, existing production factors must be fairly distributed for the country's prosperity. Islamic economics emphasizes the purification and cleansing of the human soul to create a prosperous life system without putting aside practical considerations. Islamic economics aims to achieve the goal of fair distribution of assets to society through education and experience. Islam requires equality among humans in terms of the struggle to obtain wealth without regard to differences in caste, creed, skin color, and so on. From an Islamic economic perspective, distribution aims to provide equal opportunities to everyone in economic struggle without distinguishing their social status. Islamic economics prevents the accumulation of wealth by controlling the growth and accumulation of wealth to be spent for the good of society.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the synergy between road infrastructure development and the Village-Owned Enterprise program in the local economic development of the Muslim community in Menjangan Village, Pekalongan Regency. Using a qualitative research method with a descriptive analytical approach, this study employs field observations and interviews. The results of the study indicate that despite the poor condition of road infrastructure in Menjangan Village and the Village-Owned Enterprise experiencing a vacuum due to management constraints, the synergy between these two factors has the potential to create a conducive environment for business development and the village economy. This can be seen from the fact that improved road infrastructure can enhance access to markets and resources, while a well-functioning Village-Owned Enterprise can drive local economic development through sustainable local business initiatives. This study provides a paradigmatic contribution to policymakers in planning effective strategies to accelerate economic growth and reduce infrastructure gaps at the village level.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of developing the competency of candidate Hajj ritual guides, amidst the high interest in going to the Hajj, but not supported by the availability of competent resources to guide the congregation. On the other hand, the format for competency development in Islamic colleges is still not uniform, so an ideal competency development strategy based on communication skills and virtual micro-guiding is needed. This study aims to describe and analyze communication skills and virtual micro-guiding as a strategy for developing the competency of candidate professional Hajj ritual guides. This study is operationalized through qualitative analysis of critical interaction models. Data was collected from 87 candidate Hajj guides in the Department of Hajj and Umrah Management. The data results are in the form of persuasive communication practices, virtual micro-guiding from the results of in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. This study found a form of skill consisting of persuasive communication and therapeutic communication. The virtual micro-guiding form is operationalized with virtual group guiding, support group, group counseling, and teaching group devices. The implications of persuasive and therapeutic communication skills are directed at efforts to understand the Hajj ritual. Meanwhile, the implications of virtual micro-guiding are one of the national policies in developing competencies by implementing a conducive communication environment. This is the first study to examine communication skills and virtual micro-guiding as competency development strategies for hajj guides.

Abstract

Dairy goat farming holds significant economic potential as a rural enterprise alternative, driven by increasing market demand for goat milk, which is known for being low-allergen and highly nutritious. This article presents a case study on Okane Mochi Farm, a dairy goat farming unit located in Ngaglik Village, Gebang District, Purworejo Regency. This study aims to analyze the breeding management strategies, product innovation, and economic impacts generated by the farm. The method used is field observation and descriptive study of the farm's operations. Observations indicate that the success of Okane Mochi Farm is driven by three main factors: (1) Innovation in selecting superior breeds such as Anglo Nubian and Sapera for high milk productivity; (2) Implementation of strict housing management and hygiene standards to maintain milk quality; and (3) Product diversification through flavored pasteurized milk processing and the utilization of livestock waste into organic fertilizer (zero waste). The study concludes that the upstream-downstream integration model applied by Okane Mochi Farm can serve as a reference for sustainable rural economic empowerment models.

Abstract

The Islamic sacred architecture has been a deep expression of theological symbolism, community identity as well as socio-economic organization of the Muslim societies. In addition to the main role of worship, mosques and waqf-related religious complexes were historically multifunctional and fulfilled the roles of education, social welfare, governance, and economic redistribution. Their architectural shapes, which are marked by qiblah orientation, geometrical harmony, spatial hierarchy and connection with the environment, are products of the Islamic cosmology and ethical values that combine the spiritual piety with the social life of the day. Nonetheless, modern urban conditions characterized by the dynamic population growth, environmental pollution, and the rise of demands towards the infrastructural efficiency are changing the design, construction, and management of sacred spaces. The appearance of smart urbanization in the world and the demand of data-driven city planning and digital infrastructures are both challenges and opportunities to Islamic sacred architecture. In this dynamic environment, this community service  looks at how Islamic religious architecture, especially the mosques and the use of waqf to establish religious complexes, can be redefined as part of smart city ecosystem such that they can be economically sustainable and digitally empowered. The literature review used by the study is based on a qualitative systematic literature review approach, which is based on recent peer-reviewed studies published in the period of 2020-2025 and aimed at exploring how digital technologies, including Building Information Modeling (BIM) systems, the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), and smart energy management systems, can be integrated in the design, construction, and operation of sacred buildings. The results indicate that these technologies are associated with a high level of efficiency in the operation, cost reduction in lifecycle and performance, as well as inclusion of community involvement, without losing the Islamic architectural identity and religious ethics. Moreover, the community service  mentions the contribution of the Islamic social financial instruments, especially waqf and zakat, which are enhanced by digital opportunities, to the economic stability in the long run. It draws the conclusion that Islamic sacred architecture can become strong, economically efficient and spiritually significant institutions in modern smart cities when smart technologies are carefully communicated with the Islamic value system and contemporary smart cities. Abstract

The application of the Internet of Things (IoT) in agriculture (Smart Farming) has proven to be crucial for increasing productivity, efficiency, and crop quality. This study focuses on the design and development of an IoT-based automatic plant irrigation system as a solution to overcome the challenges of imprecise manual irrigation at Sekolah Alam Purwakarta. This system aims to optimize water allocation and make it easier for workers to control plant care in real-time through an IoT-based application. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model approach. The results show that the de-veloped system is capable of automatically activating irrigation based on soil moisture readings (with a threshold of 50% RH), while displaying real-time data for control. This allows workers to know the exact water requirements and effectively prevent drought or overwatering conditions. Overall, the design of this system provides an effective solution for water conservation and work efficiency in supporting plant care at Sekolah Alam Purwakarta.
