Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya belajar, kecerdasan emosional dan adversity quotient terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa kelas XI MAN. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian ex post facto dengan jumlah sampel 100 siswa yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen angket gaya belajar, kecerdasan emosional dan adversity quotient, serta instrumen tes prestasi belajar matematika. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Tidak ada perbedaan tipe gaya belajar dalam mempengaruhi prestasi belajar matematika siswa. (2) Kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. (3) Adversity quotient memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. (4) Gaya belajar, kecerdasan emosional, dan adversity quotient secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang tidak signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar matematika siswa. Kata Kunci: Gaya Belajar, Kecerdasan Emosional, Adversity Quotient, Prestasi BelajarThis research aims to determine the effect of learning style, emotional intelligence, and  adversity quotient on the second-grade students’ mathematics learning achievement of Islamic Senior High School. The type of this research is ex post facto, where the total sample used is 100 students that selected using random sampling technique. The data was obtained through a learning style questionnaire, emotional intelligence, adversity quotient, and mathematics learning achievement tests. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using multiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that: (1) There is no difference in the type of learning style in effecting students’ mathematics learning achievement. (2) Student’s emotional intelligence has a positive but not significant effect on their mathematics learning achievement. (3) Students’ Adversity quotient has a positive but not significant effect on their mathematics learning achievement. (4) Learning style, emotional intelligence, and adversity quotient have no significant effect on student’s mathematics learning achievement.Keywords: Learning style, Emotional Intelligence, Adversity Quotient, Learning Achievement

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang ditinjau dari tipe kepribadian introver dan ekstrover dan self-confidence pada siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 10 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelas X MIPA 1 sebanyak enam siswa. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini yaitu peneliti, angket, tes tertulis, dan pedoman wawancara. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi metode. Indikator komunikasi matematis terdiri atas tiga indikator yaitu (1) Kemampuan menyatakan ide matematis secara tertulis menggunakan simbol, (2) Kemampuan menyatakan ide matematis secara tertulis menggunakan gambar, (3) Kemampuan menganalisis dan mengevaluasi ide matematis secara tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Siswa dengan tipe kepribadian introver dan self-confidence tinggi dapat memenuhi tiga indikator komunikasi matematis (2) Siswa dengan tipe kepribadian introver dan self-confidence sedang dapat memenuhi tiga indikator komunikasi matematis. (3) Siswa dengan tipe kepribadian introver dan self-confidence rendah dapat memenuhi dua indikator komunikasi matematis. (4) Siswa dengan tipe kepribadian ekstrover dan self-confidence tingi dapat memenuhi dua indikator komunikasi matematis (5) Siswa dengan tipe kepribadian ekstrover dan self-confidence sedang dapat memenuhi tiga indikator komunikasi matematis. (6) Siswa dengan tipe kepribadian ekstrover dan self-confidence rendah dapat memenuhi dua indikator komunikasi matematis.  Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Komunikasi Matematis, Introver, Ekstrover, Self-Confidence.

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan profil berpikir konseptual mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Subjek penelitian adalah satu orang mahasiswa matematika yang memiliki gaya belajar visual. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian eksploratif dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui tugas pemecahan masalah dan wawancara mendalam berbasis tugas. Keabsahan data dilakukan melalui mengamatan secara terus menerus, triangulasi waktu, dan member chek. Analisisi data melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu kategorisasi data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penafsiran data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa yang memiliki gaya belajar visual memahami masalah dengan cara menggambar situasi masalah. Sangat sulit ia pahami jika hanya membayangkan tanpa ada gambar. Berdasarkan gambar yang merupakan representasi dari situasi masalah, ia mencoba mengaitkan konsep-konsep yang memiliki kaitan. Berdasarkan kaitan antar konsep, ia membangun suatu penyelesaian masalah, sehingga pemecahan masalah yang ia lakukan sangat jelas dan terarah.  Kata Kunci: berpikir konseptual, gaya belajar visual, masalah matematika

Abstract

This research aims to describe students' mathematics learning activities in terms of self-confidence at UPT SPF SMPN 26 Makassar. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects in this research were students in class VIII 2. Data collection techniques in this research were through questionnaires, observations and interviews. The research instrument consists of the researcher himself, questionnaire sheets, observation sheets, and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that (1) Students with low self-confidence have sufficient learning activities, this is because subjects with low self-confidence do not have a selfish nature by respecting friends' opinions; (2) Students with moderate self-confidence have good category learning activities, but sometimes feel lazy and embarrassed; (3) Students with high self-confidence have learning activities in the very good category, this is because subjects with high self-confidence are confident in their abilities, are responsible for their duties, dare to express opinions, have good development with an independent attitude and respect other people's opinions.

Abstract

Salah satu Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang kami lakukan di Desa Pajangang kecamatan Majene Kabupaten Sulbar. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat dengan cara memberikan sosialisasi dan pelatihan pengolahan ikan menjadi nugget, dalam upaya menaikkan nilai jual sebagai sumber tambahan pendapatan masyarakat. Manfaat yang dapat peroleh dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu bisa meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya pengembangan inovasi dalam berwirausaha dengan pengolahan bahan-bahan baku yang mudah didapat untuk menjadi produk-produk yang memiliki nilai jual yang lebih tinggi, sehingga bisa dijadikan sumber tambahan pendapatan sebagai pengembangan kewirausahaan dan mengurangi angka pengangguran masyarakat. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah ceramah, demontrasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat serta melakukan pendampingan mulai pengolahan ikan menjadi nugget dan yang lezat sampai pengemasan yang memiliki nilai jual. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat telah menyadari begitu pentingnya pengembangan inovasi berwirausaha dalam peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

Letak strateggis Kecamatan Tanete Rilau Kabupaten Barru yang berada diporos jalan Trans Sulawesi mendorong tumbuhnya Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) berbasis industri rumah tangga untuk memproduksi penganan makanan ringan lokal. Namun hal ini kurang ditunjang oleh penampilan produk yang umumnya kurang menarik, seperti tidak menggunakan label dan kemasan yang masih sederhana dan kurang higienis. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui program PKM ini untuk memberikan pelatihan siswa tentang cara merancang desain label dan kemasan suatu produk yang baik dan menarik menggunakan aplikasi CANVA. Metode alih teknologi yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pelatihan PKM ini adalah Ceramah, Diskusi dan Tanya Jawab, Demonstrasi, dan pendampingan yang dilengkapi dengan teknik belajar sambil bekerja (learning by doing). Khalayak sasaran antara kegiatan PKM ini adalah Siswa SMKN 2 Kabupaten Barru sebagai mitra PKM, sedang sasaran utama adalah remaja dan siswa yang berada di wilayah Kecamatan Tanete Rilau yang memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan aplikasi komputer. Hasil pelaksanaan PKM menunjukkan bahwa siswa peserta pelatihan sangat antusias dan termotivasi untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan. Antusiasme siswa peserta dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan merupakan menunjukkan keberdayaan peserta selama pelatihan. Luaran pelaksanaan pelatihan adalah 1) Meningkatnya pemahaman mitra PKM dalam merancang desain label dan kemasan suatu produk melalui aplikasi CANVA; 2) Meningkatnya pemahaman dan keterampilan mitra PKM dalam merancang desain label dan kemasan suatu produk melalui aplikasi CANVA; 3) Termotivasinya mitra PKM untuk rintisan wirausaha sanggar desain yang berskala usaha micro dan atau skala rumahan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the development process, show specifications, assess the quality, and determine the effectiveness of teaching modules based on differentiated learning on matrix material. The type of research used is Research and Development which refers to the ADDIE model which consists of five stages namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The subjects of this trial were students of class XI SMA Negeri 21 Makassar. The results showed that the assessment by validators on teaching modules and research instruments received an average score of 4,31 with valid criteria. The results of the data analysis of the students' response questionnaire to the teaching module showed very positive criteria in trial I with a percentage of 87,9 and trial II with a percentage of 91,9%, the teacher's response questionnaire to the teaching module showed very positive criteria in trial I with a percentage of 86,1% and trial II with a percentage of 94,4%, and the learning implementation observation sheet showed the criteria were fully implemented in trial I with a percentage of 1,8 and trial II with a percentage of 1,9 so that the teaching module was declared practical. The results of data analysis of student activity sheets showed very active criteria in trial I with a percentage of 85,2% and trial II with a percentage of 87,2%, the learning outcomes test reached 80% in trial I and 100% in trial II, so that the teaching module was declared effective. Referring to the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that the teaching module based on a differentiated learning on matrix material can be used in learning activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' metacognitive abilities in solving Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM) questions in terms of emotional intelligence and learning styles. This research is a descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research instruments used were tests in the form of AKM questions and interviews. The selection of subjects is based on the categorization level of the results of the emotional intelligence questionnaire and learning style. The results showed that students who have high emotional intelligence with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles, are able to plan, monitor, and evaluate the results of their work properly and accurately. However, students with high emotional intelligence with visual and kinesthetic learning styles are more able to express and explain the results of their thoughts clearly and coherently. Meanwhile, students who have low emotional intelligence with visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles have not been able to plan, monitor, and evaluate their work properly. These students tend not to be able to understand the problem information and have not been able to plan the solution steps appropriately. In this study it was also found that students who have visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles do not have differences in the quality of the three styles or vice versa. Each student has their own characteristics in solving the problems given. This is largely influenced by the emotional intelligence possessed by students.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of creative thinking on problem-solving abilities in mathematics among high school students through a meta-analysis approach. Creative thinking is considered a crucial skill that can enhance students' ability to tackle mathematical challenges in innovative and effective ways. This meta-analysis synthesizes results from 25 independent studies, with a total sample of 359 high school students meeting the inclusion criteria. The findings of the meta-analysis indicate that creative thinking has a significant positive impact on mathematical problem-solving abilities, with an average effect size (Cohen's d) of 0.75 (95% CI [0.60, 0.90]). The heterogeneity analysis reveals significant variability among the included studies, indicated by Q(24) = 55.84 and I² = 57.1%. Moderator factors such as teaching methods, educational context, and student characteristics were analyzed to further understand the variation in findings. Studies employing project-based learning or problem-based learning methods exhibited higher effect sizes (d = 0.85) compared to conventional teaching methods (d = 0.65). Additionally, students with high motivation levels and those in supportive educational environments demonstrated better outcomes in mathematical problem-solving (d = 0.90 and d = 0.80, respectively). These findings underscore the importance of integrating creativity-promoting approaches in high school mathematics curricula. Approaches such as problem-based learning and project-based learning can serve as effective strategies in enhancing students' creative thinking abilities.. Therefore, the findings of this study are expected to provide guidance for educators and policymakers in designing more effective and innovative teaching strategies.
