Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran lateri ( belajar teks berita ) pada materi teks berita siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Model penelitian 4D digunakan pada penelitian ini melalui tiga tahapan sampai tahap pengembangan. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan berupa multimedia pembelajaran interaktif berbantuan smart apps Creator 3. Media diuji kevalidannya oleh ahli media dan ahli materi, serta diuji kepraktisannya oleh 4 siswa kelompok kecil dan 35 siswa kelompok besar. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dan deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu wawancara dan angket. Hasil validasi media memperoleh rata-rata 100% dengan kualifikasi "sangat valid", validasi materi memperoleh rata-rata 78,6% dengan kualifikasi "valid". Sedangkan hasil kepraktisan media oleh kelompok kecil memperoleh rata-rata 83% dengan kualifikasi "sangat praktis", hasil kepraktisan media oleh kelompok besar memperoleh rata-rata 81,5% dengan kualifikasi "sangat praktis". Penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi bagi peneliti selanjutnya guna mengetahui efektivitas media nantinya.

Abstract

Pantun merupakan sebuah media komunikasi yang digunakan masyarakat Melayu yang memiliki nilai dan keindahan tersendiri. Di dalam pantun tertuang diksi yang terkadang tidak langsung pada maknanya namun menghiasi kiasan yang penuh dengan metafora, perumamaan, dan pengandaian. Kiasan itu selalu identik dengan alam, dalam menjadi pembelajaran dan makna yang luhur bagi orang Melayu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pantun-pantun yang di dalamnya terkandung kiasan dari unsur alam bahari yang tentunya mengandung makna-makna tersendiri bagi kehidupan masyarakat Melayu. Dengan metode studi kepustakaan, maka penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu gagasan bahwa alam bahari juga menjadi bagian penting karena di dalamnya mengandung makna yang terselip di dalam pantun-pantun Melayu.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the emotions of the main character in Umay Shahab's film Perayaan Mati Rasa (Celebration of Numbness) using a literary psychology approach. The research focuses on how the main character's emotions are represented through the inner conflicts he experiences throughout the film. The method used is descriptive qualitative with content analysis techniques. The research data consists of dialogues, scenes, and expressions of the main character that contain emotional elements in the film Perayaan Mati Rasa. Data collection was carried out through observation and note-taking techniques, then analyzed based on David Krech's theory of emotions. The results of the study show that the emotions of the main character can be classified into seven indicators, namely guilt, pent-up guilt, self-punishment tendencies, shame, sadness, hatred, and love. These seven forms of emotion were found comprehensively and played an important role in building the main character's inner conflict in the film.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the forms of social conflict contained in the novel "Rencana Besar untuk Mati dengan Tenang" by Wisnu Suryaning Adji. The method used in this study is content analysis. The instrument in this study is the researcher himself, as the first instrument and supported by research tools. The data in this study are quotes contained in the novel "Rencana Besar untuk Mati dengan Tenang" by Wisnu Suryaning Adji. The data collection technique used to obtain research data is the documentation technique or library study, while the data validity technique uses the source triangulation technique. The results of the study show that there are 2 forms of social conflict, namely (1) conflict between organized and unorganized groups which is an ideological conflict between members of official and unofficial groups, (2) conflict between national units which is the people's disappointment with officials, policies, and government decisions. Based on the results of data analysis, there are 6 data from the 2 forms of social conflict, the following is the description: 1) there are 3 data on the conflict between organized and unorganized groups, and 2) there are 3 data on the conflict between national units.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of language styles in the tradition of West Zikir Poetry, Kasu Island, Belakang Padang District, Batam City. The reason researchers chose this object is to preserve and also analyze the use of language styles among generations contained in West Zikir Poetry. Things that are done to obtain research data using techniques, Observation, Interviews, and Documentation. Analysis techniques in this study, collecting data with Interviews, then the data is grouped and analyzed based on qualitative methods. The results of the study show that the use of language styles in West Zikir Poetry, Kasu Island, Belakang Padang District, Batam City. It was found that there were significant differences in aspects of diction, sentence structure, use of figures of speech, and orientation of communicative functions.

Abstract

This study examines the lexical meaning found in the poetry collection Padamu Jua by Amir Hamzah through a semantic approach. The problem addressed in this study is the use of various words with lexical meanings that contribute to the construction of meaning, atmosphere, and emotional expression in the poems. This study aims to identify, classify, and describe lexical meanings found in the poetry collection Padamu Jua based on word classes. This research employed a descriptive qualitative method. The data consisted of words and expressions containing lexical meanings found in the selected poems in Padamu Jua. Data were collected through reading, note-taking, and documentation techniques, while data analysis was conducted by identifying the relevant words, classifying them according to their word classes, determining their lexical meanings based on the Indonesian Dictionary (KBBI), and interpreting their contribution within the context of each poetic line and stanza. The findings indicate that lexical meanings are found in several word classes, including nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, and interjections. The lexical meanings contribute to the representation of love, longing, sadness, helplessness, nature, isolation, and loss. The study demonstrates that lexical meaning serves as an important foundation for understanding the meaning constructed in Amir Hamzah’s poetry before interpreting its broader symbolic and contextual meanings.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe various forms of environmental damage caused by the exploitation of natural resources as depicted in the novel Kaok Burung Gagak di Kahayan by Han Gagas. The research uses an ecocritical approach with a qualitative type of research using a descriptive method. The main instrument in this study is the researcher themself, supported by data analysis guidelines in the form of tables. Data collection was done through an in-depth reading of the novel Kaok Burung Gagak di Kahayan as the research object, then continued with recording, grouping, and determining data relevant to the research focus. After that, the data were analyzed using content analysis techniques, which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that Han Gagas's novel Kaok Burung Gagak in Kahayan represents various forms of environmental damage that occur as a result of natural resource exploitation activities.

Abstract

Character education plays a strategic role in developing students who possess moral integrity, social responsibility, and ethical awareness. Literary works, particularly short stories, serve not only as artistic expressions but also as educational media that convey character values through narratives, characters, conflicts, and moral messages. This study aimed to analyze the character education values represented in the Kompas.id Selected Short Story Anthology, October 2025 Edition. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach. The research object was the anthology, while the data consisted of words, phrases, sentences, dialogues, narratives, and characters' actions indicating character education values. Data were collected through documentation using reading and note-taking techniques and analyzed through data identification, classification, interpretation, and description based on the eighteen character education values formulated by the Indonesian Ministry of National Education (Kemendiknas, 2010). The findings revealed ten character education values represented in the anthology, namely religiousness, honesty, hard work, independence, curiosity, friendliness/communicativeness, reading interest, environmental awareness, social awareness, and responsibility. These values were reflected through the characterization, plot, dialogue, conflict, and moral messages embedded in the stories. The findings indicate that the anthology possesses not only aesthetic value but also educational value, making it a relevant literary resource for strengthening character education and supporting Indonesian language learning.
