Learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA), which is increasingly in demand, must of course maintain the achievement of learning objectives. However, in reality, the material learned in class is different from the conditions of the environment. Therefore, this study aims to analyze maritime-based teaching materials in Indonesian language learning for foreign speakers. This study uses a qualitative approach with interview data collection techniques, questionnaire, and document analysis. The research subjects are BIPA documents, BIPA teachers and students in the Riau Islands. Based on the results of the analysis of Indonesian language skills, BIPA students in the Riau Archipelago find it very difficult to master special vocabulary related to maritime which is 45.5%. While the results of document analysis on competency standards for BIPA graduates and the Sahabatku Indonesia textbook published by the Language and Book Development Agency show that the material presented in BIPA learning is only general in nature. As for the maritime-charged material from level 1 to level 7, only 2,2%. Meanwhile, teachers and students said that they only gave direct practice to the field of maritime affairs. The needs of BIPA students for maritime teaching materials also reach a very large percentage of the data resulting from the questionnaire, which is 100%.Keywords: Teaching Materials, Maritime, BIPA

This research discusses critical discourse analysis of reporting on the relocation of Rempang Island residents, Batam on the online media tribunbatam.id. The aim of this research is to describe the dimensions of critical discourse texts. The method used in the research is qualitative with a descriptive type. Research data collection techniques include news text documentation on the topic of news about the relocation of Rempang Island residents. The data analysis techniques in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The instrument in this research uses the critical discourse analysis method introduced by Teun A. van Dijk. The research results obtained from eight news texts about the relocation of residents of Rempang Island, Batam found elements in the text dimensions including theme, scheme, setting, details, intent, presuppositions, sentence form, coherence, pronouns, lexicon, and metaphor.

This research aims to identify the characters and messages in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7 by Hanung Bramantyo using an objective approach. The data collection technique used is documentation. The results of this research reveal various characters and messages in the film Miracle in Cell No. 7. The protagonist characters are as follows: Dodo has a humorous, kind, gentle, and loving nature. Young Kartika is intelligent and understanding. Adult Kartika is wise and firm. Hendro is firm and wise. Japra is caring. Zaki is humorous and loving. Bewok is irritable and humorous. Gepeng is humorous. Bule is intelligent. The antagonist characters are as follows: Willy is vengeful. Rusman is selfish. The tritagonist characters are as follows: Okto is caring and irritable. Amat is caring. Agus is firm. Several messages are conveyed, including: doing good deeds without expecting anything in return, not judging people solely by their appearances, not being afraid to uphold what is right, not giving up easily in achieving one's desires, and being fair without considering social status. Pantun merupakan sebuah media komunikasi yang digunakan masyarakat Melayu yang memiliki nilai dan keindahan tersendiri. Di dalam pantun tertuang diksi yang terkadang tidak langsung pada maknanya namun menghiasi kiasan yang penuh dengan metafora, perumamaan, dan pengandaian. Kiasan itu selalu identik dengan alam, dalam menjadi pembelajaran dan makna yang luhur bagi orang Melayu. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi pantun-pantun yang di dalamnya terkandung kiasan dari unsur alam bahari yang tentunya mengandung makna-makna tersendiri bagi kehidupan masyarakat Melayu. Dengan metode studi kepustakaan, maka penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu gagasan bahwa alam bahari juga menjadi bagian penting karena di dalamnya mengandung makna yang terselip di dalam pantun-pantun Melayu.

This research was motivated by the low conceptual understanding and learning outcomes of eleventh-grade students at SMA Negeri Dua Singkep, caused by teacher-centered learning and the use of conventional teaching materials. This study aimed to develop a Discovery Learning-based Student Worksheet integrated with the STEM approach and the Lastek game as an innovative learning medium, and to test its feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness in Physics learning. The research method used was Research and Development with the ADDIE model, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects were eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri Dua Singkep in the academic year of 2024 to 2025. The results showed that the developed Student Worksheet had a very high level of validity, was easy to use in the learning process, and was effective in improving conceptual understanding and student learning outcomes. Therefore, the STEM-based Discovery Learning Student Worksheet with the Lastek game is deemed suitable for use as a teaching material to support interactive, contextual, and student-centered Physics learning.

Peneliti mengangkat judul ini karena nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter harus digali sejak usia produktif dan salah satu media komunikasi yang efektif dalam menggali nilai karakter adalah film. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter dalam film dear Nathan thank you Salma karya Kuntz Agus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Objek penelitian ini ialah film dear Nathan thank you Salma karya Kuntz Agus. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini ialah teknik utama dokumen dengan berbantuan teknik simak dan teknik catat. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dengan mencari teks dialog percakapan yang mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang terdapat dalam film dear Nathan thank you Salma karya Kuntz Agus ialah nilai religius, jujur, toleransi, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, cinta damai, peduli sosial, dan bertanggung jawab.

This study aims to develop the Kota Berita learning media on News Text Material for Grade VII Students of SMP Negeri 6 Tanjungpinang for the 2025/2026 Academic Year. The development model used in this study is the 4D model up to the development stage only. The media developed is in the form of interactive multimedia learning in the form of an application containing material, practice questions, and quizzes about news texts completed by students. Kota Berita media has been assessed by two validators, namely media experts and material experts. The number of students testing the practicality of the media was 5 for the small group and 40 for the large group. The data collection techniques in this study included interviews, media validation questionnaires by media experts and subject matter experts, as well as media practicality questionnaires by students consisting of large and small groups. The data analysis techniques in this study consisted of qualitative descriptive and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of this study showed that the Kota Berita media obtained a validation percentage from media experts of 89% on average with a qualification of “highly valid”, while the validation from subject matter experts was 85% with a qualification of "highly valid". Furthermore, the results of the media practicality test by the small group obtained an average of 77% with a qualification of “practical,” while the practicality by the large group obtained an average of 84% with a qualification of “very practical.” This research can be used as a reference for the development of other digital media.

Learning anxiety is a common psychological issue among vocational high school students that affects concentration, self-confidence, and academic performance. This study aims to describe the implementation of Solution-Focused Brief Counseling (SFBC) in addressing students’ learning anxiety in a vocational high school setting. A qualitative research approach was employed using in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation involving students experiencing learning anxiety and school counselors. The results indicate that SFBC enables students to recognize their personal strengths, set achievable learning goals, and develop practical solutions to overcome learning difficulties. Following the counseling sessions, students demonstrated reduced learning anxiety, increased self-confidence, and more positive learning behaviors. These findings suggest that SFBC is an effective and applicable counseling approach for managing learning anxiety and supporting students’ academic and emotional development in vocational schools.

Mikroplastik semakin menjadi perhatian global karena berdampak pada ekosistem laut dan kesehatan manusia. Berbagai penelitian terbaru bahkan menemukan mikroplastik dalam jaringan paruparu, darah, dan plasenta manusia, serta terdeteksi pada udara pedesaan maupun produk konsumsi harian seperti kantong teh. Kondisi ini menegaskan bahwa paparan mikroplastik tidak hanya terbatas pada laut, tetapi juga menyentuh aktivitas keseharian masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai bahaya mikroplastik melalui sosialisasi di SMAN 1 Bintan Pesisir. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 21 Agustus 2025 dengan melibatkan 65 siswa. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyampaian materi interaktif, pre-test, dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pemahaman. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan skor pemahaman dari 74% menjadi 80% setelah sosialisasi. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan kesadaran baru mengenai sumber mikroplastik dari pakaian sintetis, udara, dan produk konsumsi harian. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa edukasi di sekolah efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi lingkungan sekaligus mendukung pencapaian SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) tentang Pengurangan Limbah dan Mikroplastik dan SDG 14 (Life Below Water) tentang Pelestarian Ekosistem Laut.
